Spawn

At the intersection of two lost highways to heaven
I met with a weird bird with a human face
The color of its bulging eyes, violet and raven
Rang a bell, yet was I that scared to touch base

It said it meant me no harm, and was good at heart
A reincarnated angel that once fell from grace
Wishing to prevent me from making a false start
Was eager to recant my deadly sins with a magic mace

But first I had to deal with an infernal spawn
Responsible for sins not covered by other devils
If I succeeded in winning the battle, I'd hold my own
And never regret having to choose the lesser of two evils

7 Deadly Sins

7 seven deadly sins
Thats how the world begins
Watch out when you step in
For seven deadly sins
Seven deadly sins
Thats when the fun begins
(seven deadly sins)
(sin number one) was when you left me
(sin number two) you said goodbye
(sin number three) was when you told me a little white lie
Seven deadly sins
Once it starts, it never ends (seven deadly sins)
Watch out aroung the bend (seven deadly sins)
A seven deadly sins (seven deadly sins)
(sin number four) was when you looked my way
(sin number five) was when you smiled
(sin number six) was when you let me stay
Sin number seven was when you touched me and told me why
Seven deadly sins
So many rules to bend
Time and time again
Seven deadly sins
Seven deadly sins
(seven deadly sins)
(seven deadly sins)
(seven deadly sins)
Seven deadly sins
Thats how the world begins (seven deadly sins)
Watch out when you step in (seven deadly sins)

Sonnet- Man Sins Foolishly

Just like the Elephant that sprays o'er mud,
After its bath in river or a lake;
Just like the Cow that keeps chewing the cud,
Man commits sins although he is awake.

Just like the Crow that rolls over the dirt,
After its bath in stagnant water-pool;
With devils many, man attempts to flirt
Before some suffering makes his head cool.

The man who sins falls into sin again;
To err is human- so man sins freely,
Till punishment from God pours down like Rain
And penitence afills his heart truly.
The man who inhibits his thoughts is great,
When devils try to tempt him and to bait.

Seven Deadly Sins

Ever felt that youve been lied
And somehow you just cant provide the proof
Ever felt youre cast aside
And sheltered from the universal truth
Ever find when trouble calls youre first in line
And stick your finger in
Everybodys talking bout 7 deadly sins
Number one says drop the gun
Theres nothing out there thats worth dying for
And number two thats me and you
Im green inside and jealous to the core
Number three fidelity Ive lost the path
And Id better start again
This things got a strange mystique
The 7 deadly sins
This things got the whole world beat
7 deadly sins
I can hear them calling out
I can hear them screaming out
Blood is sweet like a deep red river
And where it goes I dont know
You make me sweat
And you make me shiver
Where it goes I dont know
If youve got sticky fingers
You got dreams that linger running through your brain
Well vanitys the flying v
Desire is the one who gets the blame
If youre looking for a goldmine
When all around you seems be tin
Im not superstitious bout the 7 deadly sins
Everybodys calling out 7 deadly sins
Everybodys dreamin bout 7 deadly sins

Sonnet: Man Sins Often

Why do we slip into sin so often?
’Tis natural for man to commit sin;
We think the devils’ attacks will soften;
But how many can give up drinking gin?

Man thinks, he’s smarter than all the devils;
Man succumbs to temptations most of time:
Man does less good but keeps doing evils;
His nexus with the devils becomes prime.

So, God allows problems till man atones;
This is the time when man thinks about God;
Thus, man repents for all his sins and moans;
Heaven’s mercy rains down on him from Lord.

Yet, man will continue to sin again;
From punishing him, God does still refrain.

Sonnet: O, Look at Your Heart

Look at your heart; O look within your heart;
Take just a glance; it looks so unsightly;
Think of your sins; O think about your part;
And start living henceforth quite uprightly.

Look at your heart; Look in its recesses;
0 look into its every corner /nooks;
Think of your past, much sinful excesses;
Drive out the evil spirits and the spooks.

Look at your heart; Why God does not reside?
Confess your sins; repent, fill it with grace;
God is our Master, who must soul preside;
Pray to Him fervently; strengthen His base.

Look at your heart, the dwelling-place of God;
Let it be pure to enter His Abode.

Sonnet: Spare Us Sinners, God…

Whatever sins, our ancestors had done,
God, spare our future generations, please:
From strife and death by famine, wars and sun;
Open your heart of kindness and give peace.

Whatever sins, our children try to do,
Despite our warning them not to; O Lord,
Forgive them and withhold your just rod too:
They know not how sins offend you, O God.

O God of mercy and infinite love,
Ignore our trespasses, bestow your grace;
Our sincere repentance, help us to prove;
From devils’ hands, protect the human race!

The world today is full of sin and vice;
Help us to avoid sin and be soul-wise.

You're an Angel

You're an angel that nobody can see,
Still, an angel is what you are to me.
An angel from heaven is what you are,
In my sky you're definitely a heavenly star.

You're an angel with beauty and grace,
You're kind and sweet, you've an angel face.
You have very graceful angel wings.
Happiness, joy, and love are just some things,

That an angel can give, and to me you've given.
In my heart and on my mind, is where you're livin'.
You have hair that is as soft as cotton.
A guardian angel is what I've gotten.

Your eyes are like sapphires that shine bright,
When everything is dark, you give me light.
You're an angel that gives me a reason to live,
You're the angel that teaches me to give.

You're the angel that makes me live another day,
You're the angel that teaches me the right things to say.
You're my angel and you'll always care,
You're my angel and you know I'll always be there.

Where I Work

I work here,
Collecting sins of soulless souls.
Who had covered them from some sore skins
And their tongue naked,
I don’t know, why?

I work here,
In this weird game where I’m the judge
To judge between wrong and wrong.
For nothing I work in this dismal earth,
I don’t know, why?

I work here,
Where the bleaks and I live together,
But like oil in the water, I am
Where I cannot merge with them,
I don’t know, why?

I work where,
in dark mournful place!
I sign the pages of sins unknown
Making the puppets of liars
In the depth, a burning earth more than sun
Oh thou painful sins! I blame to thee
Another raging sun; all ‘cause of me
But I don’t know why?

Hovering I Saw A Redbreast And A Wren (Roundelay)

Hovering I saw a redbreast and a wren,
who were both very scared of men
and to me both birds had some lovely charm,
as innocents to which I meant no harm.

Fluttering some cooing wild doves came down
making my small garden their very own
some pecked bread or landed on my arm,
as innocents to which I meant no harm.

Pecking some hoopoes landed in my yard
and the two of them was never apart,
fleeing in their scared heart throbbing alarm
as innocents to which I meant no harm.

Sins and pleasure

Pleasure of sins lures me to sin.
Sins of pleasure follow me in.
I sow sins to harvest pleasure
And sow pleasure to harvest sins.
Virtues might promise me pleasure
But it is sins that assure of it.
Sins are the food meant for senses.
Virtues are the food made of ego.
I do sins to derive pleasure
And then repent to cleanse my soul.
Virtues I stay with; sins I flirt with.

God’s Favor

I did nothing to gain God’s Favor, while living out a life of sin,
But, to me He sent The Savior, changing my heart deep within.
God changed my life’s behavior, and now my life I give to Him,
And though my heart may waver, His Holy Spirit remains within.

For my sins, as dark as night, God had sent for me a sacrifice,
God made my sins snowy white, by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Moving me from wrong to right, when for me He paid the price,
Which lead me into His Light, from my darkness, into New Life.

It wasn’t me who sought the face, of The God in Heaven above,
Instead, it was all of Grace, when He poured on me all His Love.
It was me, who God embraced; as God I wasn’t even thinking of,
Yet my sins God would erase, through Jesus and Calvary’s love.

It was God, who loved me first, for God moved upon my heart,
God had saved me at my worst, allowing me a brand new start.
While living in a world accursed, He helps me from sin to depart,
My course in life God reversed, with His Spirit, now in my heart.

I’ll never know, just how and why, I was favored by God on High,
But with His Favor I want to be, God’s witness so that all can see,
The Love God showed in His Son, who died for me and everyone,
So they can come to the place, where they too, accept His Grace.

Happpy Heretic

The seven deadly sins must be.
Reserved for Cardinals and such
who are completely out of touch
with everyday reality
For they believe apparently.
That greed is asking far too much
but gluttony can be a crutch
for those who live in misery

And seeming sloth could be M.E.
Rendered blind by their own pride,
They raise their voice in righteous wrath.
I think perhaps they envy me
because I do not have to hide
my sins. I’m free to choose my path.

Man, Blame Thyself…

Isn’t man, the cause of problems that he sees?
Isn’t man himself the cause of his own sins?
Isn’t man alone the cause of many woes?
Isn’t man who made the planet earth hell-like?

When man deforests earth – home to wild-life,
Wild beasts in search of food enter his fields;
Man raises hue and cry: ‘wild beasts attack! ’
He is the cause of rampaging wild-life!

When man pollutes the river-waters pure
Through effluents and sewage from cities,
Will not more diseases afflict more men,
And sicknesses multiply upon earth?

When man develops habits of sins galore,
He turns a slave to devils and serves them;
Estranged from God, the blessings from heaven
Can’t come in time and ways, he wants them to!

Blame thyself man, for making good earth bad!
Your soul devoid of grace is sure hell-bound!
God allows strife, reminding you your ways
Are not in accordance with His tenets!

So, mend your evil ways and plead to God;
You have to make amends, repent a lot;
Ask forgiveness for sins and walk aright;
For, narrow is the road to heaven, man!

Sonnet: Is Earthly-life, a Purgatory?

O God, perhaps this is my purgatory!
Help me to bear my sufferings with joy;
Let pain and strife become my offertory;
Let not the devils with my soul to toy.

When trials come and tribulations too,
My face must wear a smile that never fades;
When out of habit, mortal sins I do,
Let me ignore the devils’ accolades!

Let remorse strike my plaintive heart early;
Let guilt not make me commit suicide;
Just like you can’t uncurl the curly hair,
Man sins, his actions being malafide!

Make me penitent and do my penance;
Gain forgiveness to see God’s countenance.

Sonnet: All Men are Sinners

How can we judge a man with greatest sins?
‘Let the man who has no sins, throw the first stone';
A sword can kill and sometimes even pins;
And man can sin even while being alone.

The purest soul has some kind of sin-stain;
And man falls into temptations with ease;
Sometimes, he tends to sin again, again;
In tempting man, the devils will not cease.

The blood of Christ absolves all men of sins;
The worst sinner could always reach Heaven;
God's forgiveness can come within a wince;
God knows the problems on earth of all men.

No man, really speaking can judge next;
Man's Salvation comes through God's Holy Text.

Stupid Angel

This angel story is very new,
It was never told for you to know,

An angel like others, have charm and powers,
Sent from skies to guard, to guide,
But she herself needed guidness,
Her first mission but it's Okay,
She will learn by time, as they say,

And then comes the devil's role,
Tries to mislead the Angel off the course,
With all his powers and all his force,
The Angel's confusion made everything to her 'cool',
The Devil succeeded after-all,

The angelic silk the angel wore was torn,
The angel fell in void of sins,
And a devil from the angel was born,
It's the fault of misleading..
Stupid angel she was, beginner in a world of monsters,

She was there beyond the skies,
And then she was sent to the earth,
When she fell in her own abyss,
The devil's lies misleaded her,
and in the no-where, she dies;

Lies can make you what you want,
That's the oldest trick of all,
Not because he called her my beloved,
Means the love was her enough,
What a stupid word to a lil angel can be said,
How can a devil feel love?

Angel Heart...

Lost and alone in the dark my heart it dies,
Strangled by all the pain and hurt and lies.
Drenched in my sins my soul is steeped,
My light of life is growing weak...

My heart is dying and turning dark,
In the darkness it's falling short of the mark.
This endless night has become my prize,
It takes my dreams and robs my eyes...

If the key to life is glaring clear,
Then why am I stood alone here?
I beckon my angel to this place,
Where she can fill my world with grace...

She carries evil from my shoulders,
She gives me strength to be much bolder.
She reaches out to heartache so grand,
She heals it all with the touch of her hand...

So filled with hope I stride forth anew,
My soul reborn because of you.
And I feel again that love can start,
For an angel is playing with my heart...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Send Me An Angel

Do you believe in heaven above?
Do you believe in love?
Don't tell a lie,
Don't be false or untrue,
It all comes back to you
Open fire on my burning heart
I've never been lucky in love
My defenses are down,
A kiss or a frown
I can't survive on my own.
If a girl walks in and carves her name in my heart,
I'll turn and run away
Everyday we've all been led astray,
It's hard to be lucky in love.
It gets in your eyes,
It's making you cry
Don't know what to do
Don't know what to do
You're looking for love,
Calling heaven above...
(Chorus)
Send me an angel,
Send me an angel...
Right now,
Right now...
Send me an angel,
Send me an angel...
Right now,
Right now...
Empty dreams can only disappoint,
In a room behind your smile
But don't give up
Don't give up
You can be lucky in love
It gets in your eyes,
It's making you cry
Don't know what to do
Don't know what to do
You're looking for love,
Calling heaven above...
(Chorus)
Send me an angel,
Send me an angel...
Right now,
Right now...
Send me an angel,
Send me an angel...
Right now,
Right now...
(guitar solo)
(Chorus x2)

Sonnet- The Devils Never Stop

Just when I feel a bit relieved at heart,
The thought to commit sin arises fast,
Assuring me of speedy joy as part,
A sense of achievement, more than in past.

Just when God has given some peace of mind;
The devils start to trouble me again;
Can I be ungrateful to God who’s kind?
To fight devils I need His grace like Rain.

The war with devils perhaps, starts from birth;
But Man must live as per his conscience;
And such is life for man on planet Earth;
And in these realms pow'rless are man and Science.
Man's soul must stay afree from all evils;
And Prayer is the weapon ’gainst devils.
