Snake Skin
I shed my past hurts away
Like a snake
Shedding its old skin
To relish the new shiny skin
I sloughed off some double-tongued associates
Those with slithering words of abuse
which slips in tongue without constraints
their venom more deadly than that of a poisonous snake

The White Ogre
Shifty looks
A tempest brewing
Snake slithering
under white knotty skin
ready to spring
A giant ogre
eyeing me menacingly
through slits
as cold as ice
Poisonous looks
barring me entry
Deadly pale
concealing the rage
burning inside.

Snake Bite
Snake bite
Venom strikes
Into your bloodstream it goes
To kill you slow
Oh so slow
Watch the venom as it flows
Your blood it pulses
Your body convulses
Onto the floor you'll be
Deader than dead
Venom as thick as lead
Anger in the snake's head
A poison quick
The killer kiss
Snake venom is the way to
Death's Slow Bliss

The slithering snake
Crept loudly towards it's prey
The cat ran away

The Snake
sometimes
i feel like i want to shed off
all my skin
and molt like a snake
perhaps
to feel what the snake
does
one time there was
a snake under my
bed
it was helpless
as it was molting
i could not
bite
i did not touch
it
i did not mind
it
perhaps
it is the same reason
why people
in the house
too does not mind
me
and never for once
ever touch
me

Snake; an oracle of oath
The godless men worship the snake
The godless men take oath in name of snake
And the curse comes upon wrongdoer
The godless men take oath in the name of snake
And blessing rains upon the innocent
The godless men take oath in the name of snake
And snake bitten dead the lair
And snake spare life of the truer
Despite snake answers to godless men
No votive or thank given to snake, the god
So the stopped the men to swear
By it name, snake said men used
Thunder and fire for swearing instead of it name
As snake disowned the godless men
Hex fallen upon

Kissing the Fang
Snake biting once biting dead
Snake biting twice biting life
Walking in the sorghum stalk
The oldest foe- the snake heard my feet
The snake raised the neck and hissed
As our eyes met at equilibrium
I stopped and drew my spear
The hateful send boiled to the brim
The brawl commenced I speared it back fatefully
The snake bitten my right feet fatefully
The biting bit me dead I fell down breathing not
The snake bitten my left feet again.
The biting bit me life I raised up breathing lively
The snake snaked away
The venom paralyzed me but
I giddily crawled after the snake
I gasped and kissed the snake fang
I spate the healing saliva in the snake wound
We departed in peace-indeed peace in death

A snake can shade its skin but it still remains a snake.
Defamatory
what you said
was too defamatory
you paid him money
to tell a lie
and he got the money
and told the lie
the lie becomes a snake
with sharp fangs
the fangs contained the venom
and now
it spits back at you
you may not be dead
but i know that you are numb
for more lies
you too has become the snake
that spits the venom
that has grown fangs
now so immune
you manufacture all the lies
in that snake pit
of yours
how can the gods explain
such existence as you?

Lion's den
If you are staying
With a wicked man
If you are living
With a wicked man
If you are making
Friendship with wicked man
Be sure you are walking
In to the lion's den.
Wicked man is dangerous
Wicked man is more
Dangerous than a snake
Wicked man is more poisonous
Than a cobra the most
Poisonous snake of the world
You may survive from snake bite
But you can not survive from
The clutches of a wicked man
You will die in his den.

Everlasting Skin
A breath of air vanishes from me,
Imperiling the meeting of ways I have been;
The baby so schooled in politics
Is now irrepressible and naughty.
A contaminated skin has been devised
By the infant’s soul and flesh,
Division was never happiness for him.
Flesh was a noisy substance for this lad
Who empties his skin like a snake,
Vanishing skin is the cause of his disease
That grows and unites beyond the call of duty.
Air is the fuel my fellow finds and discovers
From the faults of the skin, from everlasting skin.

The Black Snakes Nest
Where does the black snake rest?
In shady cover reveals her nest.
Near the freshly planted field,
Where mice a meal can yield.
Slithering through stalks of corn,
Swallowing whole tiny creatures born.
Then returning to her place of rest,
Hiding there until a morsel to digest.
Her skin to shed in new apparel,
When a brood of white eggs appear.
She squints her eyes in satisfaction,
A fox about could cause her to fear.
The little ones would soon hatch,
They eat their way out of the shell.
The ones left the fox did not snatch.
The first sense is revealed of smell.
They look for their first meal,
Tiny vibrations they can feel.
At first eating a small grub neath the weed,
Eventually a small mouse its taught to feed.
A new cycle begins natures test,
The blake snake find a shady nest.

Completion...
the body
is stroked upon
by
tender hands
this body
stands before it
watching
caressing those
hands
skin lands on
skin
the world knows
its own
kind of foreplay
clouds on the side
of the hills
sunset kneeling
upon the foot
of the mountain
lightning flashes
sounds of thunder
the snake spits
its venom
on the tender flesh
of the
innocent chick...

If I Ever Was a Snake
If I was a snake, my eyes would be green,
I would wander the land and look real mean.
If I was a snake, I'd know how to sting,
Despite all the trouble it would bring.
If I was a snake, I'd be red and gold,
I would slither and slather and eat my mice cold.
If I was a snake, I'd rattle my tail,
But I'd be polite and never go to jail.
If I was a snake, I'd slide on my tummy,
Hamsters and mice would be real yummy.
If I was a snake, I'd live on the ground,
Sleeping and snoring 'till I was found.
I would never learn how to rake,
If I ever was a snake.

September Snakes
September Snake, so sluggish, so sad,
Is this the best summer you ever had?
Slithering and biting and “Fanging around“,
Sneaking up on folks with narry a sound.
You go to your hideout to catch a few ZZZZs
Or hang by your tail from the leaf-barren trees
And no one will bother you, no one comes near,
Not wild boar nor possum nor rabbit nor deer.
And if in your dreams you once think of me,
I hope you’ll remember that I set you free,
And if in the spring when your venom is strong
If you see me I know you won’t do me wrong.
‘Cause September Snake, I’ll be rested too
Just waiting for the chance to meet up with you,
And I’ll take off your tail with my shovel and rake,
And have you for breakfast, either fried or baked!

I Will Be Silent To What I See
i will be silent to what i see
to what you are doing
here and then
when you hurt me
snake,
i will not move
i will stare at you
i will take the right time
snake,
to cut you
into pieces
your venom
i shall drink

I Saw
Crosses are cut inside my head, i never listen - Nailed by demon tongue to my vomit, i become part of my blisters - What i reaped was never sown, down to the rot in my stitches - Dragon breath burns the ink on my skin, i will let nothing to a nobody in - The shade of my shadow is weak to the sun, from west my beast sneaks to the east - The snake which wrapped around my spine, i am the venom, i am bitten by sliver - I saw, my eyes are on fire, i cry, my tears runs by sand, only dryer

The Cause of Enmity between Snake and Man
Snake, the first owner of fire.
Dog, the robber of fire.
Man the last owner of fire.
The snake gave birth first to fire.
Thus fire, the first born of snake.
Thus snake, only owner of fire long ago.
One cold evening
The man dying of coldness
The dog seen it master dying of coldness
It went to snake house and begged
The snake, the mother of fire to let
It tail get warm of fire
The snake cordially welcomed the dog
The dog twisted it tail on fire
The tail caught the fire
The dog jumped over the snake in door
Ran quickly to it master, the man
The man took the grass and wood
And lit up the fire
The fire lit up in man’s house
And it extinguished in snake’s house
The snake come to get fire back
But the man attack the snake
The hostility between man and snake
Began then

I am a snake
i have taken
lessons from snakes
and learnt wisdom
to morph from
an old wearied woman
to a fine spinster
everybody would turn
their heads as i beat out a dance
slithering my way to their hearts
without even their knowledge
i have taken lessons in life
from the snakes
the devil reincarnated though
all the fraggled parts of my life
the wrinkled skin of my soul
i follow the snake as it
morphs from old to young
and young to old
and old to young again
living a hundred years
parting the old self
for the new
every now and then
all my sorrows
now you see them in
the shedded skin
along the downtrodden paths
nobody cares to take a look
i never,
you should not too

Ouroboros
The snake that coiled asleep
Underneath the misbegotten
Earth unruffled agitated from
The vanguard of its slumber
Because his cold blood
Could never grow colder
And the scorching land
Could never get warmer
And the unselfishness
Could never be selfish
He shed his gossamer
And fragile skin to
Eviscerate the phantoms
Slithering with his dispositions
And super impositions
And then swallowed
The undraped suit
And the night was
A blood lusting
Carnal show
Where you blew the flute
To surrender and
Call it truce
He stuck out his tongue
Forked and rived
And palmed the warmth
Truant in the airwaves
And the arid coldness
Beckon the void chance
Of subsisting yonder
The scorching land
So his blood froze
Congealed with the
Chamber of fire
He held somewhere
In his labyrinthine frame
He developed a fancy
In eating his skin
And soon he shall
Eat his rattling tail
But never would he
Cave out again
To face the devoid
Chance of getting
To where he can live
For himself
And while she gets jealous
And while he gets jealous
He shall crawl away
Far from the dancing flames
Where his skin is charred
Only to molt him
Into nakedness
And leave him there
Eating his lost
And unwanted chances
To settle it fair.
It is an ouroboros
Eternally ensconced
Into the lattices of
The void.

A Dead Snake
i shared my love and relationship
just some time back...are
standing around me beating me
i am twice dead now
the first when i became a snake
from human
the second when as a snake i was beaten to death
by this inhuman
i did prove i never had any venom even
even then....
i wonder why
these people are
standing around me and beating me
a dead snake
