She Could Have Been

An old women
she sat in thought
looking at all these
beautiful young women
passing by the banch in the park,

she then starts to spill tears,
and regrets the missed opportunity
she strives not to believe,
that she has no home,
and memories of his youth days
Start boiling like a melted steel

And one question she asked
'Why did I not cherish my youth days'
Now no one, wants to be in the same pain,
trust me, you want to!

Happy Childhood Memories

Happy childhood memories the best memories of all
And my younger years in Millstreet I will always recall
On evenings in Summer up to the mid Fall
In the Townpark at the West End we played gaelic football
My friends of my youth where might they be today
Like me have the years left them balder and gray
Though some of them in the home Parish did stay
In life one might say we just went our own way
Since those days so many years have come and gone
And time does not wait it just ticks on and on
Many of the friends of my youth I may not see again
Though good memories of them with me does remain
And in fancy I chase the football up and down
With my happy young friends in the Park of the Town.

The Old Man's Comforts and how he gained them

You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
The few locks which are left you are grey;
You are hale, Father William, a hearty old man,
Now tell me the reason I pray.

In the days of my youth, Father William replied,
I remember'd that youth would fly fast,
And abused not my health and my vigour at first
That I never might need them at last.

You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
And pleasures with youth pass away,
And yet you lament not the days that are gone,
Now tell me the reason I pray.

In the days of my youth, Father William replied,
I remember'd that youth could not last;
I thought of the future whatever I did,
That I never might grieve for the past.

You are old, Father William, the young man cried,
And life must be hastening away;
You are chearful, and love to converse upon death!
Now tell me the reason I pray.

I am chearful, young man, Father William replied,
Let the cause thy attention engage;
In the days of my youth I remember'd my God!
And He hath not forgotten my age.

Old Friends Of Mine

The songs they were singing from the golden days of our spring. When laughter rang out from those old friend of mine.

Where have they gone in the passing of time, and where are they now those old friends of mine.

The years have clouded the memories of them. The grey hairs are showing, how long has it been?

Oh where did they go? The friends of my youth. The flames of a young life and the passions we knew.

The days are shorter. Life still goes on. Our children are playing like we used to do.

Will they remember the friends of their youth when they get our age in their September song?

Oh where have they now those old friends of mine?

04. Beautiful Women

young women, old women
in their heart
despite the years
the yearning to be beautiful

young women, old women
they look at each other
one with envy
the other with fear and contempt (of the wrinkles, old age)

young women, old women
they look into each other
one for a mother
the other for a daughter

Evolution [my Life's Journey]

Oh how sad it makes me feel
As I hear the footsteps of my youth
Grow fainter and fainter with every passing day
Leaving me nothing but memories,
Of my boundless energy and my lust for life
Seeking knowledge and truths
Looking forward to the days and years ahead
Letting my imagination take me to places
I may never see except through my minds eye
Where melting snows became a raging river,
Or blowing snow and howling wind,
Became a far off desert
But as reality took over fantasy
What we once could see is no longer visible
And just like a sculptor father time etching our faces
Taking away our youth with each strike of his chisel
With the hammer of time
Removing what was and leaving us with what is to be
Oh how we cling to those days of our youth
For those were the days when the world was ours

Dating Days

Three women
In thirty days
Tell me seriously
Our dating days
Are over and done
Are dead and gone
It seems that no matter how much I drink
I seem to still stay sober
It seems that no matter how young I am
I seem to still feel older
Three men are going to hell
Thirty women are going to jail
Jonah swore he swallowed the whale
Thirty thirsty women
Three hundred women in three hours
Told me boy forget the flowers
Christ told a man called 1 legion
Come into the fold and start preachin
Your devil days are over and gone
Your weary days are dead and done
Your happiness has begun

I Thought, I Think, I Know

Gone are the days,
When i thought love was a myth,
Gone are the days,
When i thought women are the same,
Gone are the days,
When i thought i wont find love again
Gone are the days, so so gone

Here are the days,
When i think love is a gift,
Here are the days
When i think you a blessing,
Here are the days,
When i think these are the days,
The days to love you more

Yet are the days,
To know i will love with doubt,
Yet are the days,
To know you are my wife,
Yet are the days, the days to love,
To care and protect

what I see...

when i look in the mirror
what do i see?
see a young women trying to find the right path
a young women trying to do whats best for us
the daughter that was never planned but yet brought so much happiness.

u can tell the girl standing in front of the mirror has been through so much
so much it made her the person who she is today...
a strong hearted women who can get through anything if she put her all into it.

but behind that strong women, is a women who isn't as strong as she thought.
a women who quits when things get ruff,
a women who is afraid of change,
afraid of doing the wrong things
afraid of losing the ones that mean the most

when i look into the mirror,
what do i see?

see a young women who is willing to do whats right.
willing to take that next step
willing to start the future over and have a new begining.

see a young women
who is finally letting the past not get the best of her
and moving forward.

My Love's 'Deja Vu

Many fond memories have I, of my youth's yesterday,
Though days long gone by, felicitous memories do stay!
My jollity of today, for as many as there may be-
Each day, next, my dreams are closer to reality!
Many wishful thoughts have I, of my tomorrows,
Mere thought of thee doth wipe away and all sorrows!

Much time hath seen we, betwixt last we had met,
Though know not did we, our fates would reconnect!

A powerful, yet foreign sensation, did overwhelm,
With the power of an unimaginably beauteous emotion, at the helm!

Whence first I allowed gifting of mine own heart,
I had no knowledge that its home lay wherest it did start!
I do live, but for to love and cherish but one,
No means of resistance have I, only may I relish what comes!

Youth Youth Youth

Youth youth youth
Youth youth youth
Never wanna be an adult
Always wanna be in revolt
Youth youth youth
Youth youth youth
Don't wanna spend my life saving up for things
Don't wanna have what a steady job brings
I don't want security
Don't want responsibility
Don't wanna stay at home not making any noise
I've always got to be out
I've always got to have a choice
I don't want security
Don't want responsibility
Youth youth youth
Youth youth youth
I don't want no uniform
I don't want no book of rules

The Days Of Summer

All the days of summer
Is ending now
All the nights of summer
Are now just sweet memories
Let’s set together
Let’s have a cup of tea
And let’s remember
The days of summer

The beautiful evenings
We had together
At that park…
I climb the mango tree
And you look at me
With your beautiful eyes

How can you forget?
Tell me how can you forget? ? ?
The days of summer
We had together…
All the night
Setting under moon light
I told you some jokes
Just to see your smile

All those memories
I packed in bags
I kept it like treasure
I can’t show you
Because the days of summer
Are over…

Glory Days Glory Days

Glory days glory days
I feel so good
Because I am alive again during this brand new day that my beloved God Gave to me alone
And I say thank you to God for giving me this brand new day
That I am starting to enjoy it very much
Glory days glory days
I am not a handsome men either
But also I am not a millionaire
Because women loves money and power
And women is more down to earth than men
Also women loves to show their feelings and affection
But men doesn't do that
And I believe that men is much rharder on them selves than on the Women
Also I want to say that I am happy being me

Youth In Embers

My mirror is troubled, tired of lying to me
My youth is gone, life torn and tattered no longer to be
Like quenching flames that dance suffocating in the rain
Just the agony, pain and regrets of past years reflect again

Is there a way I thought to throw my ashen cloak
And start my life anew under different clock
Yet the flames of my youth shall never leap and burn
Time flows on me so cruelly with no return

So many winters have besieged my life, quizzes out of grace
And dug deep trenches in my face
My skin is dying, dry, dots and spots, brittle and blasted away
Youth proud of lusty days, against now deep-sunken eyes of decay

For years I stopped birthdays and calendar count to tell my time
As the brave day sinks into a hideous foul night
I watch the shy violet behind a rock that year by year renews its prime
My youth in embers, like ashes all bleak white

Your Old Diary

In the first page you had written
I loved to weep
One day I wept seeing the hunger
In a street dogs face...
The other day seeing the will to fly
Kissing the pages of sky
In the ink of the wings of a bird inside a cage
And one day when i knew that I am growing young
I asked if you wanted to be a child always

In the other I saw you had written
I wanted to fall in love
I looked for it every where
Every second of my youth, in the winds of spring and autumn
In the fleets of unseen ships carrying distant dreams
In the waves they upon which they travel
Even in the petals of roses kept for sale
I asked how many times you fooled yourself

Around the last pages painted your ink-
It was not long I remained the same
Some days I said everything
And at nights mourned the absence of the company of my secrets
And some days I walked in the robes of pen and ink
Some days I just stayed back
And thought and thought only of your portrait
In darkness I sought my own shadow
I tried to come out of myself
I wanted to wear a new dress
I was desperate on not finding anyone whom I could ask why?
Who would buy me a smile even with a beautiful lie
A dried petal was in your last page
Some strokes of dying redness
I thought perhaps your diary is now old...

The Joy Of Their Laughter

The children are playing football in the park off of the street
The joy in their laughter it does sound so sweet
'Tis true youth is such a marvellous thing
Like the flowers of the fields that bloom lovely in Spring.

The joy of their laughter bring back memories to me
Of happy boyhood days of any cares free
In the Town park on Summer evenings we kicked the football
Such wonderful memories are good to recall

The years went so quickly and time did not wait
And I've grown grayer and slower and I'm putting on weight
The future belongs to the youth of today
Though they too will grow to learn that time quickly ticks away.

Some of those I went to school with now with the dead lay
And some are grand parents and their grand children play
The games they themselves played they run up and down
In pursuit of the football in the park by the Town.

As I walk to the bottle shop for to buy beer
The laughter of the children playing football I hear
Their best days approaching and mine in the past
But time keeps on ticking and nothing does last.

Only Woman Bleed

Man's got his woman to take his seed
He's got the power - oh
She's got the need
She spends her life through pleasing up her man
She feeds him dinner or anything she can
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Man makes your hair gray
He's your life's mistake
All you're really lookin' for is an even break
He lies right at you
You know you hate this game
He slaps you once in a while and you live and love in pain
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Black eyes all of the time
Don't spend a dime
Clean up this grime
And you there down on your knees begging me please come
Watch me bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed

Gone are the days when men were women,
Gone are the days when women were men,
Gone are the days when children were parents,
Gone are the days when parents were children,
For he was very handsome and she was very beautiful;
But the unsurpassed love for you is all that i share and,
I am so much in love with you.
Okan, i still remember your luscious affair at the first night;
And your sweet love will always be in my heart.
