Traffic Jam: The Trap Of Traffic Light
It's not only test your luck, but also test your patience
It's not only test your guts, but also test your instinct
It's not only test your sanity, but also test your obedience to law
It's not only test your ethics, but also test your fidelity
It's not only test your sight, but also test your reflex
It's not only test your estimation of time, but also test your street knowledge
It's not only test your ego, but also test your kindness
It's not only test your control, but also test your awareness
It's not only test your attitude, but also test your responsibility
It's not only test your priority, but also test your humanity

Tests And Homework And Quizzes AND SCHOOL
You know that if there was one thing,
That you could take from school,
It wouldn't be art or math or history,
It would be work.
Those ugly things you want to blow up,
and smash,
and burn,
and crinkle,
and rip,
and tear,
and throw out.
Those things that make you have to remember,
all the stuff you learned before,
and to study, study, study,
'till your eyes fall out.
“Oh, sorry I wasn't paying attention”
and
'Did we learn this? '
never helps when the test monster gives you the paper, And wishes you well.
But you know she doesn't mean that.
She doesn't want us to do good,
she just wants us to hurry so she can give us another test.
And then it's June!
Good that the year's almost over,
But bad 'cause........
FINAL EXAMS
Oh no! ! !
The mother of all tests,
And what did you say? We have to take more than one!
I'm done for.
Your sitting there,
hand clenched on the pencil,
face sweating,
and then BINGO!
You get the answer.
You jump up and scream,
in the silent classroom.
You shout out with joy 'cause they’re all over.
No more exams, or quizzes, or tests, or homework.
You bring up you paper and sit back down.
Then it happens.
Excuse me please come up to the front of the room
Right then and there
DETENTION!
No it’s not detention?
Whoo Hoo! ! ! !
It’s homework
Well that’s just as bad.
You think, No. No. You didn't just say there's still homework? ?
And we have to do it everyday of the summer! !
You have to be kidding me.
“Oh, just strike me down right here and save me from homework! ! “
But wait,
You say it's fun homework,
BLAH,
homework can't be fun,
or joyous,
or exciting,
or awesome,
or amusing,
or entertaining,
JUST HORRIBLE! ! !
“So we have to do fun homework? ? “
“What is it? “
It is to have fun?
And stay safe? ?
“No, you must be kidding.”
Your not kidding! Really! ! Cool! !
Well see you next year!
If I can stop having fun and come back!
GOOD BYE SCHOOL AND TESTS! ! !

No homework
No homework, no homework, no homework
it would be lovely, it would be great,
it would be as good as chocolate cake.
No homework, no homework, no homework,
oh the things I would do, it would be fun,
it would be a cupcake bun.
No homework, no homework, no homework,
an amazing day, but next day at school,
a pop quiz and now the teacher says hurray.

Mrs. Bass's 8th Grade Language Arts Class
Welcome,8th grade, to this class,
I teach Language Arts because I'm Mrs. Bass.
Pick a desk and have a seat,
Write your assignments in your planner nice and neat.
Open your notebooks and pull ot a sheet of paper,
Today we will do the opening together.
Now read your book for 20 minutes or so,
take notes on what you know.
Now it's time for a test,
try your hardest and do your best.
No talking during this test you hear,
Because Mrs. Bass is watching near.
Test is over time has past,
Now heres the thing we do last.
For homework tonight in your book,
Do page 72 'a closer look'.
Write a summary on what you learned,
And write 5 questions for extra credit that can be earned.
Now pack your things and dont forget to do your homework tonight,
Now adios first wave GOODBYE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Break Me Shake Me
OW!
Ha haha ha ah... x 2
Do anything you want,
But never find the heart to leave me,
Cause I need you too much
So play your game but don't desert me,
Maybe you heard I'm tough
To love but baby please believe me
Don't be afraid to trust me,
I wouldn't trade you for the world,
And if you feel you gotta test me,
Before you be my girl
You can shake me, you can break me,
But you can't make me,
Cause that's the only thing I won't do for you,
Sometimes I say too much
I am right now so please forgive me
When I can't help but touch
The place so deep inside you and me
I threw away my crutch,
I'm man enough for you, can't you see me?
Don't be afraid to try me,
Come on and give a guy a whirl,
And if you feel you gotta test me,
Before you be my girl
And you can shake me,
You can break me,
But you can't make me
Cause that's the only thing I won't do for you,
Well I was making love inside my mind,
Somehow you take me to the other side,
I wanna get so deep inside your world,
So don't run away girl
You can shake me,
You can break me,
But you can' t make me,
Cause that's the only thing I won't do for you
You can shake me,
You can break me,
But you can' t make me,
Cause that's the only thing I won't do for you
I'm gonna
I'm gonna
I'm gonna make you mine
???
I'd sail a thousand ships to finally kiss your lips

Its tail and make a loud
Noise!
_______- What are you telling about?

I shook it out of my luggage
When I heard it. It’s gorgeous!

You’ve shaken me up because
Every rattlesnake can cause
Bad problems.
_____________- A snake with a rattle. How

Shake That
Allright Crew!
I am a junglist man!
Don't try to change my plan, yeah!
Right!
Flip that coin, see what you get!
It's M.C Dave, who's on the set!
Left, right, left, right, push up the mic.
4, 3, Stand at ease, turn it in 45 degrees.
Doing it for the masses! Doing it for the crew!
Going to make you hop and skip around like a kangaroo!
Get 'em! Get 'em! When I'm on the mic, when I'm on the mic I read some rhythm,
Get 'em! Get 'em! When I'm on the mic, yeah!
Bring the beat back!
CHORUS:
Shake, shake, shake... Shake, shake, shake...
Shake your booty, shake your body.
Checkaaah checkaaah!
Shake, shake, shake... Shake, shake, shake...
Shake your booty, shake your body.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Shake That!
Shake, shake, shake... Shake, shake, shake...
Shake your booty, shake your body.
Come on!
Oh shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake.
Shake your booty.
Right!
We love you lots! 10 out of 10!
Select 'n' gimme that
And mix that plan
Left, right, left, right, I've got the vibe!
4, 3, come on please!
Turn it there like Killer Bees
Doing it for the masses! Doing it fast and slow!
When I'm in charge of the microphone, watch out I'm about to blow!
Get 'em! Get 'em! When I'm on the mic, when I'm on the mic I read some rhythm,
Get 'em! Get 'em! When I'm on the mic, yeah!
Time to attack!
[CHORUS]
Ah yeah! Check this out!
I never say no! to return to the floor!
You're raw!
Wanna test my crew?
You better be sure!
Ah!
Here we come!
Straight between the eyes!
Life without knowledge is death in disguise!
Shake that!
CHORUS.
ARGH!

Setup To Fail
When you come to test someone,
You believe is unprepared?
AND with a confidence,
You will be the one to pass...
YOUR 'test',
Easily!
To then leave and be on your way?
Be sure your activities,
Have not been scrutinized...
Prior to administering 'your' test.
What appears to be simple...
May keep your brain twisted,
For the rest of your life.
Riddled with doubts you question.
When you come to test someone,
You believe is unprepared?
AND with a confidence,
You will be the one to pass...
YOUR 'test',
Easily?
Remember this...
You just may be the one,
Being setup to fail.

Hoemwork Love
I love my homework,
Yes I do!
I do my homework,
Yes I do!
Can you imagine why,
I never start to cry,
'Oh my homework's just too much! '
ever let it out of my clutch,
My homework's are emty
Tutor doesn't shout ' Memty! '
I have not seen anything so fair,
I don't have homework,
So there!

Gala
Gala hangs from the window frame
Dressed in black and white
Her face is colourless
In the moonlight
She turns around and her lips move
But the words just drop away
She leans on the back of a chair
And her arms begin to sway
She and I can hear voices
Talking in the room next door
Saying things we used to say
That we cant believe in any more
Weve seen too many castles crumble
Made too many innocent mistakes
Who could have known that one house
Could hold so much heartbreak?
And then the clockbell rings
The wind blows in -
Gala makes for the door.
Her eyes blaze
And her hands are shaking
She opens her mouth and roars!
Gala doesnt want, gala doesnt need
She claws at her face
With her nails till it bleeds
She runs down the stairs
In her poor bare-feet
Shes too woman to cry or go down on her knees
Then her mother is there
And her voice is soft
She pulls gala close
She soothes galas cuts
And gently chides
And gala knows...
That gala shouldnt worry
She neednt be afraid
Because there are sailors on the sea tonight
In ships that God made
Look! they cast out the line
With a heave two-three-four
And they sing as they pull
Our lost souls aboard

Life Teaching
Life has been my teacher
time has been my tutor
living has been made my homework.
Its a class i have never missed
for this lesson has been prolonged.
The teacher is punctual
for this i punctuate every lesson
with a test of wit
i am pushed to the peak
of my endurance
and i'm let to fall
a test on my faith
i fear
though i hear
victory is here
i trust my gear
hence i rise every time i fall.

I Haven't Done My Homework!
I haven't done my homework Dad!
(Dad) Well my boy that's very bad!
But Dad my homework book got eaten!
(Dad) Don't lie to me or you'll get a beat'n!
But Dad it's true my book has gone!
(Dad) Now my son you're very wrong!
I saw it on the kitchen table
I do not like your silly fables
But Dad the Dog has eaten it
I saw him eat it, every bit!
(Dad) OK my son I've had it now!
It's homework time, dont want a row!
Ask your mum where it could be
I want it done before your tea!
(Mum) Oh my son you'll never guess
I put it on the floor
and the dog has eaten it
and your homework book's no more!

Homework Sucks
Homework! Oh homework!
I hate you! You stink!
I wish I could wash you away in the sink!
If only a bomb would explode you to bits!
Homework! Oh homework!
You’re giving me the fits!
Homework is a stumbling block
they all say it is the only way
to sharpen my brain
what a drain!
Keep me thoughtful and creative
Encourage me to be innovative
Keep me occupied with some positive motive
Yeah right
I can see some light
The idea is bright
All this talk, talk, talk
I am just doing my homework
As I listen to the clock
Singing out tick, tock, tick, tock
Do not mock, just do your homework
Some teachers say
'You should do more'
But we stand are ground
And make no fuss
Then we say
No Please
Not More
I HATE HOMEWORK

My excuses
I started on my homework
but my pen ran out of ink.
My hamster ate my homework.
My computer's on the blink.
I accidentally dropped it
in the soup my mom was cooking.
My brother flushed it down the toilet
when I wasn't looking.
My mother ran my homework
through the washer and the dryer.
An airplane crashed into our house.
My homework caught on fire.
Tornadoes blew my notes away.
Volcanoes struck our town.
My homework was taken
by an evil killer clown.
Some aliens abducted me.
I had a shark attack.
A pirate swiped my homework
and refused to give it back.
It took so long to make these up
I realized, with dread,
it would have just been easier
to do the work instead.
