Sarajevo Sonnet
Within the four walls of this sonnet’s form
(while outside spring rain gathers in a pail) ,
there is at least one happy story to tell,
something lovely brought on by a storm.
Fresh thrifts have sprouted, and a fat worm
lazily crawls out of someone’s cracked bell,
crawls out of the centre of someone’s hell,
out of a skull atop a uniform,
while not too far away, in someone’s rib cage,
in a sunlit temple without a steeple,
two tiny beetles in the place of people,
(their love too pure to ever turn into rage,
too tried and true to ever fail or falter) , —
take their vows before a priestless altar.

Kingdom Of Lies
Made it all up girl
Out of anger, out of passion
Turn yourself away
Make me lonely, love we only
Need a place to hide
Out of anger, out of love
Time crawls
Theres like beyond the castle walls
Go, leave
I said I didnt mind
Did I believe it?
This time in my kingdom of lies
Im alone
Turn the lights up girl
Turn your anger to conviction
All my shadows fade
They made me lonely
Lies that only
Turned your heart away
Out of anger, out of love
Time crawls
Theres life outside these city walls
Go, leave
I said I didnt mind, did I believe it?
This time in my kingdom of lies,
Im alone
Time crawls

Innocent Bystander
Standing by the railway station
Waiting for your train.
But the train never comes,
No the train never comes.
And I think Im going out of my hell
Yes I think Im going out of my hell.
Running down the track
Trying to reach the end.
But the end never comes,
No the end never comes.
And I think Im going out of my hell
Yes I think Im going out of my hell.
Ive been waiting for the sun
But it always hides behind the sky.
Time crawls by before my eyes,
Thats the story of my life.
And I think Im going out of my hell
Yes I think Im going out of my hell.
Aaah aaah
Ive been waiting for the sun
But it always hides behind the sky.
Time crawls by before my eyes,
Thats the story of my life.
Well I think Im going out of my
Think Im going out of my
Think Im going out of my
Think Im going out of my hell

Darkness That Dwells Within
The darkness that dwells within,
Crawls deep inside my soul,
Want to take control,
It's silent whispers calling my name,
Asking me to let him out,
All that rage waiting to be free,
Wanting to fight he violently tries to force his way out,
Slamming him self against the walls of his cage,
Putting me in fear,
I try not to let him out,
For if I do he'll tear me apart,
He's what i fear most,
He's like a snake slithering through out my body.

Time, as is well known, sometimes flies like a bird and sometimes crawls like a worm, but human beings are generally particularly happy when they don't notice whether it's passing quickly or slowly.

Vaginismus
a siren of light bleaking out
and now it's time to pull away
into the ocean, into the sea
we always look on tv
no one lives this last day
of generation x
for living now is the sin of all time
the sin of all time
this is where it breaks down
and now the time is seeping through
into the back of front of you
now is the end of the world
and then they tie you up
into a knot, into a cloud
well into the ground
where satan lives
to bring all you kids
up in a world
where nothing's down
come into a freaky show
they push you, into the death now
we're in the death wish
we're in the death wish
in the death wish
where it crawls into the walls
into the death wish
where it crawls through the walls
let go, this, now far
no fun with a hole
into the death wish
death wish, death wish

April Rain! !
Drop, dropp and many drops
came dropping
on my cottage roof
the heavenly shower
wetting, and more drops
falling
flowing from the thatch-eves
pure and filtered fresh
the first April morning rain
washing the dusty leaves
pure and green
and
the fragrant coriander leaves
blessed with silver liquid gems.
Upon a high branch
a pair of starlings shivers cold
blankets its body
with its warm feathers
hid under a thick leaves
their ears straightened
listening to the soft blew
of the april wind
a melody to compose
and a melody to chirp
a company to the first April rain.
Oh! ! the first april rain
that sheds from heaven
to welcome the spring
purify the way of its coming
freshen the dusty atmosphere
with its showers
and to make the gardens
beautifully adorn with flowers.
i can smell
the smell of first wet earth
of the temple altar
pure and sacred
like the chandan tilak*
charming yellowish on my forehead
the wet drops on the green shijou* plant
resides there like the holy water sprinkled
I can see the footstep stone
at the altar
ever wet
is wet again
by the shower of the first april rain.
Oh the first april rain
fulfilled my thirsty heart
that was dry and barren
brought to me the wetness
and washed away all my worries
Oh the april rain
kisses my heart
with wetness all over again.

Tattoo
The light is like a spider.
It crawls over the water.
It crawls over the edges of the snow.
It crawls under your eyelids
And spreads its webs there--
Its two webs.
The webs of your eyes
Are fastened
To the flesh and bones of you
As to rafters or grass.
There are filaments of your eyes
On the surface of the water
And in the edges of the snow.

Raining Blood
Don’t you wish the rain to wash away all fears
To blend with and dismiss all the tears
You wish the rain to calm all rage
To let you out of the emotional cage
You want peace to reign
Let all other thoughts fall away like rain
But when the rain doesn’t take all away
You wish the rain to not stay
When the rain is blood
It comes over you like a sudden flood
Fears come out to taught you
Tears come and attack too
Rage set free
Cage wont let you be
Reigning peace nonexistent
Rain now keeps happy thoughts distant
All things turn to blood red ash
Life no longer wearing a golden crown and sash
Means to me:
Well to me it means that the way the world seems can change because of one little thing.
In this case blood instead of rain falls from the sky.

Good Enough
When footsteps from that Sunday march faded out into the dark
The melody blows in to ease the pain
Two thousand years and we're still here fighting over the same old fear
The muddy steps of hate can't stand this rain
I'll stand up on this stage as if it was my altar
I'll face down all the rage and no, I will not falter
Say I'm good enough to play but not good enough to stay
In your heart
The mat on the floor says welcome, the sign on the door says no
Says 'No coloreds allowed unless you're playing in the show'
Well I've never seen a color except the ones up in the sky
When I see this kind of hatred I die a little inside
I'll stand up on this stage as if it was altar
I'll face down all this rage and no, I will not falter
Say I'm good enough to play but not good enough to stay
And when you finish your song boy you've got to be on your way
But if I'm good enough to play then I'm good enough to stay
In your heart
This one's for the Godfather, Duke, Ella, and the Count
And for all those who fought their way here no matter the amount
For all of God's children walking through dumpsters in the back
Had to finish their show and leave just because their skin was black
They stood up on the stage as if it was their altar
They faced down all the rage and no, they did not falter
They were good enough to play but not good enough to stay
And when they finished their songs boy they had to be on their way
They were good enough to play and somehow they've always stayed
In our hearts
And if I'm good enough to play then we've got to find the space
In our hearts

The Ant Worm Story...
shall i finish the story of the ant
and the worm?
at the cliff the worm jumps
landing on the arms of the grounded worm
and there and then
willfully, euphoniously, they both lived
happily ever-after
if you only write it yourself
i could have read a better ending than what i have
lazily imagined.

As you have gone far away from nature
For us
Morning, afternoon,
Evening or night
Makes no difference
We realize the part of day
From the sun light
And we remain in the same cage
Which has been so carefully designed that
We cannot find a way out
However difficult we may try
We are tiny little creatures
True, we look cute and colourful
The nine of us in cage do not have the same colour shade
Some of us shine in multiple colours too
We fly with the help of our short wings
Within the one metre cube cage
With a closely knit thin, of late rusted, iron strings
In all directions, sides, bottom and up
Your children stand around the cage
And get excited at each small flying jump of us
And at each chirping we make
Initially, we too got excited at the kids’ excitement
But, as of now, we are in pain
Will you keep your kids in a cage
And get elated at the sight of their
Crawls and cries inside
You feed us, thank you for that,
But you have missed to note
You know only some fruits
Some grains and nuts
And you give only those things
Which you eat and which you think
Are nutritious to us
You do not know we have a lot many natural things
To choose as our food
We relish eating that red cherry fruit
Of the tree just across the road in front
You are not aware of this simple thing
Your bananas and red chilies have become monotonous
Our younger ones get a better nutrition
If they are fed with that red winged insect
Which sucks nectar from jasmine
We are afraid that they would never get a chance
To have that taste
We are missing a lot of natural things
A free 20 metre fly against wind
A balanced perching on a tiny still fresh neem twig
A heartful search for insects in your domestic wastes
A scratch of your lawn with our tiny toes
And catch of a few winged ants
It would be a very long list of things
Which we miss because of
Your so called love for us
We know you would never understand these
Natural ways of living
As you have gone far away from nature

It Is A Lovely Day
The parks and paddocks lush and green wildflowers bloom by the roadway
And birds are singing in the wood it is a lovely day
A forecast low of nineteen and a high of twenty three
And pink flowers in large clusters on the rhododendron tree,
Were I a poet I'd write a sonnet for today that would live on in time
But good poets are few or so 'twould seem in blank verse or in rhyme
For to be able to pen a sonnet to this day joy to others would bring
When Mother Nature is in bloom in the prime of the Spring,
The wattle birds are calling on the sunlit banksia trees
And there is a cool freshness in the freshening coastal breeze
And dark winged welcome swallows chirping as above the park they fly
All through the day they circle to and fro across the sky
And willy wagtail with his wagging tail is chasing flies and bees
And the sunlit park sounds happy with the songs of the pee wees.

Sonnet on the Sonnet
To see the moment holds a madrigal,
To find some cloistered place, some hermitage
For free devices, some deliberate cage
Wherein to keep wild thoughts like birds in thrall;
To eat sweet honey and to taste black gall,
To fight with form, to wrestle and to rage,
Till at the last upon the conquered page
The shadows of created Beauty fall.
This is the sonnet, this is all delight
Of every flower that blows in every Spring,
And all desire of every desert place;
This is the joy that fills a cloudy night
When bursting from her misty following,
A perfect moon wins to an empty space.

698. Make me a drunkard! 041009
They say, ‘be happy and be away from people unhappy’
But how can I pretend to be happy when I am not happy?
I wonder how joy will spring from my heart
When I have not realized truth but in dark?
To be joyful and to give joy, they say
Love is the only means; but to my dismay
I have not tasted true Love in this world
To my eyes all relations are mere trade!
Cinderella’s misery was no more as she met
The prince with true love and a heart wet
She jerked away all her relations false
To unite the prince in a private place
I know my dearest beloved! You are within!
I shut all the doors made up of my thick skin
The five senses and the brain store of thoughts
To make my heart a lovely bed for sweet nights!
But! Alas there stands always a third person
Between You and me hindering our union
The ego the source of all my thoughts and births!
The more I try to repel the more adamant it becomes!
Oh prince of my soul! Find a way to drive away
This ever present and resolute ego stands midway
Let my thirsty lips taste Your true eternal Love
Let my heart be filled with pure oceanic Love
Then You send me to this earth or any hell
As I could carry the ocean of Your Love
I will make a heaven, as if by a magic spell,
Since I would be a drunkard of Your Love!

She Crawls Away
I fall in she sees me and smiles
Then she starts to hate herself again
She screams something under her breath
That I wouldnt know if she said it outloud
She turns over to start a conversation
With a man that noone else can see
She dreams of loving me sometimes
And it makes me see what weve been missing
Its like I never knew anyone so strong before
She brings the man outa me
And she makes me see that they dont matter
I believe
We see her playin with another
She runs around you and then
Its like the sun goes down and she crawls away again
She wears white pants a miami sweater
Says that she loves the os
So uncle dean will come by
Her smile is like sunshine
Her tears hurt like leather
She runs the show she lets me know
Says its all about being the only
Its like someone said you could have one good thing in your life
She couldnt be your type
I didnt plan for your smile, but you make me laugh when you stand dreamin
I believe, we see her layin with another
She runs around you and then
Its like the sun goes down and she crawls away again
Where were you yesterday
Now that my heart is wild and free
And my lips have room to wander
How can I say your needing me now
When Ive got a plan
I know you dont understand why my heart is sorry know
I believe
We see her laying with another
She runs around you and then
Its like the sun goes down and she crawls
I believe
We see her waiting with another
She runs around you and then
Its like the sun goes down and she crawls away again

Tongue
Call my name, here I come.
90 to nothing, watch me run.
You call.
I am ashamed to say.
Ugly girls know their fate.
Anybody can get laid.
You want a room with a fire escape.
I want to tell you how much I hate this.
Dont leave that stuff all over me. it pains me.
Please just leave it.
I should toss that vanity license plate.
Toss that make-up painted face.
Box those poems, chocolate cake.
Scratch that name on the record player.
Please just leave me be.
Dont lay that stuff all over me.
It crawls all over. all over me.
Call my name, here I come.
Your last ditch lay, will I never learn?
Caramel turn on a dusty apology.
It crawls all over me.
You turn all over.
It pains me.
Please just leave it.

You are always flowering in an endless spring (in answer to William Shakespeare)
Some similarities do I find
between you and a day in spring
when lovely birds sing
and rain new life brings
and yet far too soon that season is left behind
and still you stay pleasant and kind
a being without any irregularities, noble and pure
and while the sun brightly shines,
the cobalt sky is blue, your eyes have a darker hue
and when the sun declines before the night
your eyes sparkle with more lustre
than any light of the vast darkness:
and you are always flowering in an endless spring,
with a deep beauty that is true, that I find in you.

Climbing Up The Walls (Zero 7 Mix)
I am the key to the lock in your house
that keeps your toys in the basement,
and if you get too far inside
you'll only see my reflection.
See her face when she sleeps tonight,
I am the pick in the ice,
do not cry out or hit the alarm,
we are we're friends till we die.
And either way you turn I'll be there,
open up your skull, I'll be there
climbing up the walls.
It's always best when the light is off,
it's always better on the outside,
in the crack of your wanting smile,
fifteen blows to the skull.
So tuck the kids in safe tonight,
and shut the eyes in the cupboard.
do not cry out or hit the alarm,
you'll get the loneliest feeling
that either way you turn I'll be there,
open up your skull, I'll be there
climbing up the walls.
Climbing up the walls.

Still a Spinster the next door beautiful Nurse
Thouhghts of tadpoles swarm in the Spring ponds
Summer flowers bloom among the noisy frogs.
Painful Autumn crawls like a venomous serpent
And the gloomy sky weeps in a Wintry night!
Stupid War still goes on in a distant Country
The Warship just dropped her Anchor at Midnight
And she waits for the Recruits to come on board.
The Youth wears his Military Uniform,
And departs, stops for a while to listen
Her melancholy singsong beyond the fence!

Heaven's Only Door
There is far too much presumption, concerning the time we pass away,
For so many fail to open The Word of God to see what He has to say.
For all men are destined once to die, and then must face judgment,
But many people die not knowing what's ahead, not even a tiny hint.
For some people are taught by others that everyone goes to Heaven,
But remember Jesus warned us to watch out for the Pharisee's leaven.
Many others turn away when you talk about Hell's Eternal Punishment,
They say He's a loving God and to such a place no one would be sent.
Another idea taught by many is that all roads will lead to the Lord,
This is taught by men who don't understand and The Bible is ignored.
Some believe they will enter Heaven when they see the life they had,
Resting in an empty hope, that their good will out weigh their bad.
There are also those who acknowledge God and know that He is Pure,
But comparing their self to Him they think they're in Hell for sure.
And some people don't believe in God or even in a life after death,
And believe they rot just like animals after their very last breath.
There is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun, this you can be sure,
Dear friend forget about all the views above and listen to The Lord.
He died on Calvary's Cross-for the entire world and you can be sure,
And Christ is the way, the truth, the life, and Heaven's Only Door.
