Ironic
Looking out into the streets...
All pass me by never a second glance. I see what I am...
I can't see myself standing here.
I can't really remember a time... being happy more than a day or three.
I can't really say I've been truly liked, respected or loved in my time of living.
Just existing to be laughed at, ridiculed, spat upon, name calling.
bitter words said, and ment. True feelings of hate
have come to light, surfaced upon so many lips, In that time and this.
I stand tall and build another wall, and look in my closet at the other walls I have torn down...
I will recycle the pieces of those walls to help build this one even bigger.
No one will climb over; no one will care to climb over to see.
I will not climb over.
No one sees me.
You will not see me.

Animal Farm
This world is big and wild and half insane
Take me where real animals are playing
Just a dirty old shack
Where the hound dogs bark
That we called our home
I want to be back there
Among the cats and dogs
And the pigs and the goats
On animal farm
My animal home
On animal farm
My animal home
While I lay my head upon my pillow
Little girl, come play beneath my window
Though shes far from home
She is free from harm
And she need not fear
She is by my side
And the sky is wide
So let the sun shine bright
On animal farm
My animal home
On animal farm
My animal home
Girl, its a hard, hard world, if it gets you down
Dreams often fade and die in a bad, bad world
Ill take you where real animals are playing
And people are real people not just playing
Its a quiet, quiet life
By a dirty old shack
That we called our home
I want to be back there
Among the cats and dogs
And the pigs and the goats
On animal farm
My animal home
On animal farm
My animal home
On animal farm

With Bells On
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
Ive traveled around this country crossed the waters deep and wide
Made lots of friends and memories brought joy to others lives
Its christmas time again another year has come and gone
And I cant keep from wonderin how the old folks are at home
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
When the snow is on the meadow and the sleigh bells jingle bright
And the kids are singing jingle bells around the christmas lights
As daddy stokes the fire and mama puts the turkey on
There aint nothing going to slow me down this christmas Ill be home
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
Repeat chorus

Wild Animals
When you look at wild animals
they are breathtaking,
so pure and natural.
If the animal looks you in the eyes
you can feel connected.
If the animal walks up to you
takes food from your hand,
you can feel trust.
When the animal keeps returning
for food,
you can feel needed.
By mistake
you take the animal home,
you can feel complete.
Time goes on
you look into the animals eyes,
you can feel sadness.
Knowing that
you have to return the animal to the wild,
you can feel loss.
When you let the animal go,
it runs!
Animal Instinct
(Music: DirkschneiderKaufmannWienhold - Words: DirkschneiderKaufmann)
I don't wanna be another retro-man
I don't wanna be no part of your plans
I don't wanna be no diamond king
I just wanna pull the detonation pin
I won't give up a life of sin
You'll never tame the beast within
You can't abuse what I've got in here
My animal instinct is what you fear
And I howl - and I prowl
I am a raptor in time
And I howl - and I prowl
I am unbroken - creature of the wild
I've got an animal instinct
I've got an animal instinct
I don't wanna lead nor even dominate
Not a top-dog leader that only devastates
You know I'm free and I stand so proud
My animal anger - I shout it aloud
[Bridge]
[Chorus]
Animal - animal - animal - animal - instinct
Animal - animal - animal - animal - instinct
[Chorus]

The Animal and the Plant
The animal has a name of wonder,
A plant may never attack a wonder,
For the body of an animal is taking the plant,
And bodies are getting bigger
As they grow with eating alone.
To respire the body is like a plant
That does it all the time.
The plant is like Us - it lives perfectly.
The plant is not absurd, it is unblemished,
And the animal is less perfect, just some.

And What Is Man
And what is man but animal a descendant of ape
A creature of this Planet earth with monkey build and shape
And what is man but mortal with brief so brief life span?
Like flowers of Spring he live short while the earth born creature man.
And then so why should man the animal with superior powers of mind
Look down on his fellow man on his own fellow kind
And why should man the mortal chose to discriminate
And surrender to jealousy a fore-runner to hate? .
And why should man the animal with ape like hands and feet
Allow himself fall victim of greed and self conceit?
As man is air breathing creature and air breathing creature's life is brief
He quickly grow and then he fade like frostbit autumn leaf.

Higher In Time
The mountain is steep
The ditches are deep
The task in hand
Is making us weep
But heres a promise
(I intend to keep
/
That I mean to keep)
Seed it in your mind
And say it each night
Before you sleep:
We will climb higher in time
(och!)
Youve got a head full of trouble
And a ship to build
(you think you wont make it
But you know you will
You feel you need your
Cup refilled
Fill it out of mine
Well drop the defenses,
Pool our skill
/
Your heart youre hiding
Its making you ill
You feel like you want to have your
Sporran refilled
Well, fill it out of mine
Let the soulful water
Overspill)
And we will climb higher in time
Ive been to the bottom
Ive been on the train
Ive slept in the gutter
With my head in a drain
Ive been brutally proud
Ive been mortally shamed
But this is not a crime
Im just learning, my friends,
That its all in the game
And we will climb higher in time
(och!)
Climb higher in time
Climb higher in time

Be Like A Bird
Birds build their own nests
one twig at a time
little by little.
Birds build their own nests
strong enough
for raising their young ones
until they know
how to fly.
Be like a bird
even if it takes time
build your own home.
Be like a bird
build your home strong enough
for raising your children
until they know how to live
...on their own.

Vermillion (Terry Date Mix)
She seems dressed in all the rings
Of past fatalaties
So fradgile yet so devious
She continues to see it
Climatic hands that press
Her temples in my chest
Enter the night that she came home
Forever
Oh (She's the only one that makes me soar)
She is everytihng and more
The solemn hypnotic
My doll you're bathed in posession
She is home to me
I get neverous, perversed when I see her to worse
But the stress is astounding
It's now or never she's coming home
Forever
Oh (She's the only one that makes me soar)
Hard to say waht caught my attention
Vixen crazy, Athen Attraction
Call my name in my face, to recognize
Such a fair amount called, to terrorize
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
(Yeah!)
I'm a slave, and I am a master
No restraints and, unchecked collectors
I exist throught my name, to self ablige
There is something in me, the darkness finds
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me
I won't let this build up inside of me

Stairway To The Stars
INTRO
There's a silver trail of moonlight leading upward to the sky
And the night is like a velvet lullaby
There's a heaven of blue
And we'll go there, just you and I
Let's build a stairway to the stars
And climb that stairway to the stars
With love beside us to fill the night with a song
We'll hear the sound of violins
Out yonder where the blue begins
The moon will guide us as we go drifting along
CHORUS:
Can't we sail away on a lazy daisy petal
Over the rim of the hill?
Can't we sail away on a little dream
And settle high on the crest of a thrill?
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you

Animals
Animals we are
Disposable, collapsable and raw,
In you go into some crowded room
And animals that climb
And theyre climbing over you until you say
Off you go, off you go
Animal I am
And Im looking for an answer just like you
I should know which way to turn
An animal that runs,
And I ran away from you because Im scared
Off you go, off you go
If youre gonna go, go now
If youre gonna go, go now
I forgot to tell you now
So if youre gonna go
Go now
Animal you are
Disposable, defenceless yes and
Watch your mouth, boys watch your mouth
Im an animal that runs,
And I made all my excuses to you
And I missed my chance by a stones throw
If youre gonna go, go now
If youre gonna go, go now
I forgot to tell you now
So if youre gonna go
Go now
Go now
Go now
Go now
One
Now crumble
Crumble and fall
Crumble and fall like an animal
Yes I crumble
Crumble and fall
Crumble and fall like an animal
Yes I crumble
Crumble and fall
Crumble and fall like an animal
Yes I crumble
Crumble and fall
Crumble and fall like an animal

Our Love
Jerry lynn williams
Day by day Im lost for words to say
I try and speak but the words wont come
You and I should take these wings and fly
Its time to ring every bell and beat on every drum
Cause our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world
What we need is just a little love and well succeed
The time has come for everyone to know
That you and I were all the reasons why
He taught the birds to sing and made the flowers grow
And our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world
The time has come for everyone to know
He taught the birds to sing and made the flowers grow
And our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world
Day by day Im lost for words to say
I try and speak but the words wont come
So you and I should take these wings and fly
Its time to ring every bell and beat on every drum
Tell the world about it
Our love can take us where weve never been
And our love can build this world again
Build this world

Build Your Nest
Build yo' nest
Build yo' nest
Build yo' nest
Build yo' nest on tenderness
The nest is yo' home and launcin' pad
Vibes ain't good gotcha' feelin' sad
Build yo' nest on love that tells it all
Gives you the strength to walk mighty tall
With a song in yo' heart most every day

Sonnet: Climb, We Must
Climb we must, each step in life every day;
Climb we must, each rung in life, one by one;
Climb we must, with care slowly all the way;
Climb but steadily, it isn’t merely fun.
Haste could make a waste: fatal could be fall;
Tougher’s the climb when on the steeper side;
Time is short but still we obey His call;
God is our Master in whom we abide.
We ought to rest but when we find the time;
Climb we must, all day and rest during night;
Though success may not come, our duty’s prime;
God is our guide always: Beacon of light.
We ought to reach the place earmarked by God,
Although unshod and though we are from clod.

Public Animal #9
Me and G.B.
We ain't never gonna confess
We cheated at the math test
We carved some dirty words in our desk
Well now it's time for recess
Old man waitin by the monkey bars
Tradin all his ball cards
And they promised him a gold star
And they told him he could go far
Hey Mr. Bluelegs
Where are you takin me?
I'm like a lifer
In the state penitentiary
If I keep my nose clean
I won't get my eyes shined
But I'm proud to be
Public Animal Number Nine
License plates are runnin
Out of my ears
I'd give a month of cigarettes
For just a couple of lousy beers
Or even a bottle of
Real cheap wi-hine
But that's the price you pay to be
Public Animal Number Nine, Number Nine
Hey Mrs. Cranston
Where are you takin me?
I feel like a lifer
In the state penitentiary
She wanted an Einstein
But she got a Frankenstein
Yeah, I'm proud to be
Public Animal Number Niiiirrrrrgh
Public Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Number Nine
Number Nine Number Nine
Number, Number Nine Animal Number Nine
Public Animal Number Nine Nine
Public Animal Numbergh Niiiirrrrrgh
Public Animal Nurrrgh Nirrrgh
Errrrrrrrrrrrgh

Home Is Home
Here is home
Home is home
No place like home
Home is where u are welcome
Come home,
Come back home
You yearn for their zone
But it can't be your home,
Your relics are here,
You are only there
Where you can only desire
But can never acquire.
They quit you when they please
For you are only there on lease.
Come home with your cream,
Come home with your dream,
Come lets build ours
In these fleeting hours.
