Reality spoken of Lies

One night I came home to tears from my mother,
the quietness of my father,
to realize my life would never be the same.
I felt for my sisters, as this is their father,
who has forsaken our mother.
I lost all I had to Lies.
Lonely nights, Lonely days,
Feeling of despair cascaded me, Loss of reality,
Loss of the loving family I thought I had.
No one is there in the shadows to comfort me,
I lost all I had to Lies.
Then to find out the man I loved,
also lied, was painful and so deep.
Another loss, another heart ache,
The shadows tried to reach me,
but loss of reality reached me first, till family intervened.
I found Love I was looking for,
I just had to reach out my hand, they grabbed onto me so tightly, fearing I would fall back, into life of shadows.
Remind yourself of this,
Reality spoken of Lies, may be like a poison,
which spreads till your reality is lost.
But please never fear to seek out that hand,
the one that is reaching out to love you and help you!
Your love is wanted, needed, & cherished by someone.
You may never even have realized they were there to begin with.

Missing My Soul

In Despair of Loss,
Great surprise found me happiness
An absent father figure lend a hand,
Time proved restrictive conditional stand.

In despair of Loss,
I was found in a trap cause.
Lost the hope of unconditional parenting,
Lost my liberty of picking.

In despair of Loss,
I realized that my trap doesn’t go away,
Doesn’t let me free,
Takes my energy away, locked with conditions.

In order to be free, I must renounce.
In order to be free, I must reach the bottom.
In order to be free, I must find a new and hidden place.
In order to be free, I must reencounter unconditional love.

Fear of a loss

Ring, ring
That was phone,
Mum answered
In a moment
Lost in time
my mum was gone
Granny on the couch
Nervous, anxious, fearful

A Quiet, deathly silence
Filled the emptiness

We were told to pray
I dared not ask why
Praying, wondering, still dared not ask
Then the memory, gripping
Daddy hadn’t come home that day
Fearing the unknown
Dared not question
Fear of hearing
Fear of knowing
Fear of loss

Ring, ring
Granny answered,
Questions, silence, gripped by fear
Bravely, she spoke what we dared not ask
What we feared we would hear
Daddy was gone
We lost him
In the silence of this night
He passed on, quietly
As he had passed through this life
Through our lives

The silence continued
Time had stopped
The heavy quietness
The ominous silence
Overwhelmed my senses

Fear
Loss
My fear of loss
No longer a fear
A reality now

Losing

Losing

My love for you inspires me to write poems of love, yet mixed with sadness and sorrow.
Loss and gain of finding and losing, of regret and fulfilment,
happiness and the denial of enlightenment in reality, that I was ment to write for you.
Love, yet not to posses, or to touch.
Only to write of loss and to live in reality, to write of what I may of had...
To write how I sabotaged love.. yet still.. and how I'm too hard to like never mind to love.
Its all written down on paper, in my mind scarred and seared into my heart, im just too out of reach
for anyone to want to....
Loving you, allows me to see this... I have failed...and I thank you for this...
I hope, I'm sure, love will never come my way again.
I write it all down for you,
using red ink.

Loss of a dream

I Remember who I lost

Like sad days I couldn’t stand,
or past loss I felt so sorrow,
I remember who I lost.

They were everything in my day, always in my heart.
I loved them and they loved me, but some where in time,
things happened.

I got caught up in confusion through my inner unconsciousness,
they were lost in the winds of circumstance.
Alone and betrayed came the ocean of tears and mark of mindlessness, all was a complete loss.

Ripped into deep things of paradox,
drifted once again past the safety line.
Even these words cry, as I set them in type,
knowing that it was everyone’s lack that brought about this smack,
that punished us all.

Again and again I loose them over and over as each light of day becomes light. When I see my eye’s in mirror I see them as living specters of love, that fade after the days concerns grip onto me.

At days end I take the steps slowly to another night that they will visit me in dreams almost like visions, crying at their presence, once again to know they are not here… with me.

I can’t find the right words to say the loss,
gravity of these heavy thought,
as I remember who I loss.

Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable

The death of a twelve year old,
Her sister shed tears,
But the body was cold,
Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable.

She felt all had lost hope,
It was her fault,
'I let go the rope! '
Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable.

'I should have pulled her up'
'I lost grip'
'I should'nt have given up! '
Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable.

'You trusted me! '
'And there is no reason....'
' No you shouldn't have, see? '
Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable.

'No! It's not your fault! ',
Said her sister,
Who lay dead in the vault,
Loss Unbearable, Loss Irrepearable.

Loss Of...

Loss it seems is the worst kind of sorrow
Loss of dreams, the dreams of tomorrow

Loss of the moments you two should have shared
Loss of opportunities to show her you cared

Loss of the memories you both could have created
Loss of the romance once intense as you dated

Loss of a kiss, caress, or embrace
Loss of that special feeling no one else can replace

Loss of a look, the twinkle in her eye
Loss of the touch as you pass each other by

Loss of a future, from a past of regret
Loss of a last chance, how many do you get

Loss of a promise you never meant to break
Loss of two hearts that forever will ache

Am I my fathers keeper?

He found redemption
danced with the devil
got lost in frustration
from the pain in his heart and
the fear that griped his soul
Am I my father’s keeper

A puff away from reality
Dreams up in smoke
Trading life for a toke
of sin
His new found friend
Am I my father’s keeper

I’m down on my knees
Praying for you
Your soul is on fire
And you don’t know what to do
Am I my father’s keeper

I ask him to take a step toward me
when the road is getting rough
I promise my love will be enough
Am I my father’s keeper

I tell him “you are blessed in courage”
Take this step for me
fight your way back towards reality
Am I my father’s keeper
Am I able to love him enough?

Life is Loss

I have given this one most thought.
To learn this lesson you may not want.
But everybody knows and everybody felt
Some have seen more with the hand they've been dealt.

But I’m going to remind you because it seems.
That change is the worst enemy that deems
The fear that you have for the future
Is the loss that you will lose there?

But life is loss but not all loss comes
In the form of death or separation from
Two loves who no longer give
Each other their own life to live.

Because sometimes people have to walk away
From the hurt that they feel each day.
Sometimes people have to let go of the feelings
And move on with the day to day dealings.

Or never find themselves without remorse
And never having any recourse
Of the life that is loss and always having to carry
Those people that which they should bury.

A Dark Chapter

Joy has been left for a reason
Order will blind me
Hand me the chance will I take it
And play the game
No need no guilt for tomorrow
Now counting down for
Ending this task shall I torment
Standing in grace
Gone I will find myself lost
And still reach the top
Yesterday was reality
Lord I will sacrifice life
Is this fear undisguised
Standing outside a fatal scene
Walking through mist and the shadows
Close to this crossroad
Choosing the way for a future
Lies in our hands
Move on don't stop nor give up
No time, no waiting
Sentenced to reach, be a dreamer
Now hear my calls
Gone I will find myself lost
And still reach the top
Yesterday was reality
Lord I will sacrifice life
Is this fear undisguised
Standing outside a fatal scene
Hope shall guide us forever
Grant me time for our answer
Patronized, fragile dreams must stay alive
Hope shall guide us forever
Grant me time for our answer
Patronized, fragile dreams must stay alive
Think what's beyond this darkness
Waiting for answers
I will believe in my future
Dreams lies within
Bring me joy, bring me freedom
Bring me some conscience
Leave me with strength and respect
Lead me through pain
Gone I will find myself lost
And still reach the top
Yesterday was reality
Lord I will sacrifice life
Is this fear undisguised
Standing outside a fatal scene
Nothing you say, will change things
Grief from within still teach me
All of my past, in vain
Dark turns to light, turns to night-time
Seduced by a life so far from here
Now desolates from within
Bring back the joy take me back again,
Away from deception and pain
I'm aware, alone we are facing the dark
Chow me the way, guide me in the storm,
Care for me bring me some light
I am awake, alone we're waiting the dark
I am awake, alone we're waiting
Hope shall guide us forever
Grant me time for our answer
Patronized, fragile dreams must stay alive

l Losses Are Sometime Good...

Loss, most of the time bad. On occasion, great!

SOME TIME A LOSS CAN BE GOOD!

Can loss sometime be happy. You bet! Ask some
divorced couples.

The other guy had a loss and I won!

My ex had a loss, of most of our assets. Yes,
you guessed it, I got 'em!

Insurance companies, now there's some, that
many take great delight,
when they suffer a loss.

When the tax man does an audit, if they have
a loss, we have a win! (best kind of loss)

The person who brings suite against you,
suffers a loss. (Ain't that sweet?)

A hostile mother-in-law, suffers a loss,
when her daughter gets divorced.

When one experiences a weight loss.
Now that's something that would make
millions of people happy!

When the owner of your building, is deemed
to be, 'rent controlled, ' it brings a loss
to the greedy titleholder. (break out the champagne)

When the neighbor you hadn't spoken to for years,
has a loss, of the keys, to her car.

When the kid, who keeps running over your lawn,
with his bike, has a loss, of the two wheel monster.

When you child, who you love, but drives you nuts
with their loud music, has a broken stereo,
and a loss of music. (They're unhappy. You're ecstatic.)

When one has a loss of sleep, because their spouse
was amorous all night. (Ahhhh, the good old days.)

When your in-laws, prepare to come to your house,
for the first time, and have a loss of directions.

When your spouse, who cremates every barbecue
they ever handled, has a loss of the coals.
(Actually you hid them.)

When the know-it-all comes to your home, and
can't say a word, because they had a loss of
their dentures.

Remember...If you have a loss, sometime,
the loss is good!

Wishing For The Past

For Bobcat

After all these lonely years
Why do I still love you so much
Why do I still miss your smile
And still crave your touch

I hear your sweet voice
In my dreams each night
And I constantly wonder
How can I make this right

Still lost in the sweet dreams
I wake and reach for you
But your love is just a memory
A dream I wish would come true

Why do I still feel the loss
Down so deep in my soul
When will I understand it all
So my heart can be whole

You were not my first love
But I promise you will be my last
I will mourn your loss forever
Constantly wishing for the past

Shadows

Walk through the night looking for your kind of smile
?Hoping to meet you I walk my love for miles
Your face, your eyes, I can't find the girl I look for
refrain:
Shadows can conceal you
you can't hide, so please don't try
Your life and my love
But to search just makes me cry
Life was so young and another day is gone
Love seems a lost word
How can my heart be strong
?When that was is again I wait for love to be there
refrain
Then in the shadows I see the face I look for
But then like the night you're gone just as before
A face in a crowd
A shadow once more
refrain
solo
refrain
(spoken)
...shadows...shadows..shadows..shadows...shadows....shadows....shadows....

Loss Of A Home

In the course my life I have seen many things
But nothing prepares you look into the faces of families who lost everything
Their is not sadness but strength and perseverance in their eyes.
It just material I keep telling myself
But its more then that it is a home a family made
A history love that makes a location what it is
My dear freind picked up one her lost photograph and balled cause it was of her grandfather who is now dead
Their scared not of the loss material but of a loss of their home

My Parents vs my brothers and sisters

I read all these poems and I don't understand,
They all say family is there for you first at hand,
Its different for mine and this I know,
My family isn't a family that is what they show,

I always thought family comes first,
But in our times of need they are the worst,
Always making excuses and lies,
Blaming it on us trying to get a rise,

They don't see it or just don't care,
They've turned their own kids against them that's rare,
They look the other way when things get rough,
While we comfort each other when things get tough,

Thank God for my Brothers and Sisters too,
If it wasn't for them I don't know what I would do,
They give me hope and give me love,
Something a Mother and Father should have done,

Don't get me wrong I love them a lot
I just wish they would've gave parenting a shot,
Maybe one day they will understand,
What we've gone through first at hand.

Loss Lost in Thought

Loss of love from your partner in soul:
A.k.a. jilt;
Loss of love from your bygones of souls:
A.k.a. mourning;
Loss of love which came from a dearth
Of love through rescinding love:
A.k.a. hatred;

Love to science in analysis be
Secretion of oxytocin in association
With an entity that leads to bonding - so boring:
A.k.a. must all suffer scientific explanation?

Loss of love, a catastrophe, nay!
So love, nurture love, and be loved!

Loss of nature from dear Mother Earth:
A.k.a. destruction;
Loss of greed in material world:
A.k.a. always opportunity for altruism;
Loss of kindness and pity and all:
A.k.a. human nature has dark undertones;
Loss of ego and fire of desire:
A.k.a. loss may be good in consequence;
Loss of responsibility; humility:
A.k.a. loss may be unnerving.

Loss of Homo sapiens:
A.k.a. demise of the flawed primate - pinnacle of Darwinism - equates to
No art; music; poetry; debate, and

Everything innate ornate of human!
So concentrate please, on bliss of this.

Your Warm And Tender Love

I was lost in the deep and darkest night
No direction, not a single hope in sight
When i saw a fire burning brightly through
The storm that raged above
In the shadows of your warm and tender love
I was a stranger to the land and life around
In constant danger, being hurt by what i found
And of hurting what i treasured most
Foolish eagle never dove
Till i fell upon your warm and tender love
In the shadows of your warm and tender love
Now i gaze in peace at the lonely sky
That is raging high above
Safe in the shadows of your warm and tender, tender love
In the shadows of your warm and tender love

Mercy Me

Father where are you in my life?
I look for you..., in my wife,
I dream you hold me up,
Let me drink..., from your cup,
You know I left you, to taste life,
Father..., all I found is strife,

Mercy... is my cry,
Love please... don't you die,
Father... make it quick,
Let Mercy be your trick,

I found in the heart of man,
A hole just the size of a can,
It is easy to forget,
With love there's no regret,
Please see me for who I am,
Father.., I am just a man,

Through pain and loss of life,
Comes a knowing of what is right,
I see now that I left your side,
With no thought of where to hide,
Deep within my heart it lies,
A sea of love to you it cries,

Let my fear and greed...,
Please not betray your seed,
Don't bleed a tear from your eye,
But lift me up so not to die,
Father..., I need your vision,
Endless love, no more derision,

Mercy... is my cry,
Love please... don't you die,
Father... make it quick,
Let Mercy be your trick,

My dream is but to alight,
Your heavenly steps, tonight,
To feel your warm glow,
And your love..., to know,
Then all men will leave fear,
For you have shed your tear.

Kinds of Loss

There's kinds of loss that can bum you out

The loss of a game
You lost your way
Losing your favorite pin

This can make you pout
But without a doubt
It is not a real big thing

The kind of loss that can make you shout

The loss of your job
The loss your car
When you could not pay

It left you confused
Feeling slightly defused
But then you can re-group

Then there a loss, that cuts deep within

My maternal rights that I tried not to win
So stupid to give up such a gift
To watch my boys grow, live with the man
that I've tried so much to get away

No school papers to hang on my frig
No more practices to run to at night
Now I that I am a part-time Mom
And try and do it all on my weekends
