While youre busy trying to conjure dirt upon me,
Your ponys sucked dry by an african bee.
The muck you rake is not enough to keep your turd at sea,

Raven, Raven

I took my children to the Zoo.
That was in March of 1993
And there was a sharp wind.
We saw a black
Raven who had stories.
'Are you thirsty, Raven? '
They asked him.
He said: 'Raven, Raven.'
'Are you hungry, Raven? '
He said: 'Raven, Raven'
'Do you have a family, Raven? '
I asked.
He said: 'Raven, Raven.'
We came back smiling
My children and I.
The children left.
We remained: sharp wind and me.
We went to my apartment:
My memories and I.
Unbearable loneliness.
I went to a pub.
The waiter asked:
'Are you thirsty or hungry?
You are not with your kids tonight? '
I replied: 'RAVEN, RAVEN.'

I am a raven
Freer than a breeze
Beholding to no one
Doing what I please

Watch me fly
Aeries are for eagles
Not me!

The Death of a Raven

As I was taking a tour today
I saw a raven lying dead by the side of a bank
He lay there lone, cold, dead
Nobody to bury, cremate, or carry him away
I felt sad
I felt life is so sudden, so short
A couple of ravens kept circling the dead
They tried to tell me something of the raven dead
But I couldn't understand them
Because I don't know as how to interpret the language of the raven
The raven lay dead by the pavement of the bank
He lay sideways
His feet up
His dead beak closed and dead
I felt a sudden rush of hopelessness, a sudden rush of undefined pain
I didn't stop there to mourn the raven's death
I ran away as fast my legs would pace
The raven is dead
Everything around him goes as usual
Life is a continuous process
Time, tide, space flows on their own pace
Nobody notices the death of the raven
Except me
My soul saddens by the death of the unknown raven
The sky is dark and cloudy
It threatens rain
A few drops dropp here and there to make the scorched ground a little
wet
I cry for the dead raven
Please spare a pray for the dead raven

Morgan

I can hear the raven sing,

Thunder breaks a silent moment,

A spiritual glow envelops,
Medicine power develops,

The raven is the national bird of Bhutan
It is worn in the royal hat.

The raven is the official bird of the Yukon
And of the city of Yellowknife

King Harald Hardrada carried a raven banner
Called land-waster, a Viking boast

In Sweden the raven is known
As the ghost of a murdered person

In Scotland, a raven's a corbie
Feasting on knights and gallow's meat

The ravens, Hugin and Mugin
Sit upon Odin's shoulders
Their names are Thought and Memory

The raven is the trickster god
Of the Inuit and the Koyukons
The Kingdom of England will fall
If the Tower of London ravens fly away

The raven

And through my sleeping
I heard a tapping at my door
I looked but nothing lay in the darkness
And so I turned inside once more
To my amazement
There stood a raven
Whose shadow hung above my door

Front.

There's a Raven
that lives in the tree
that sit's at the bottom
of my garden
and my cat's have taken
to stalking it.

The only problem is
that this Raven
is as big
as they are.

Yet still,
everytime they slide
outside they
sit waiting for it
to land
on the grass.

And this morning it did.

It set down
straight in front
of them
and just stared
them out.

Very slowley
they backed up
and then in
a flash
came tearing through
the cat-flap,
up the stairs
and hid under the bed.

The Raven
hopped around for a few moments,
preening itself,
shaking out it's feathers
and then flew
back up to
it's nest.

And I got to thinking
if they'd rushed it
they could've probally
taken it out.

I guess the art of bullshit
isn't just exclusive
to the human animal
after all.

Let there be a raven more...
Let it soar and fly.

Let it circle by.

T'will it stay up high?

Forever more, the most more ever high.
Soaring is it's favorite time...
Higher and higher, it t'will ever climb.
Let the raven ride that current of air...
It rides it ever more.

That lonely raven

There’s that raven
That very lonely raven
Who was born with a wing bigger than the other

He was so sick and tired of it all
The whispers
The snickering
The laughing
He could take no more

He was done now
Done with it all
With every single thing that happened
Day in and day out
In which he had to suffer thru
But not anymore

This lonely raven finally did it
Did what he should’ve done a long time ago

He left that flock
That flock that pulled him farther and farther
Towards the earth

That lonely raven
Who was always different from the others
Left
He left his bullied life
Left those who couldn’t accept his individuality
Left that nightmare in which he had been living

This lonely raven
Who was quite different in his own special ways
Flys away
Flys away alone
Flys away with a sense of peace
A sense of finally calmness

Some birds don’t like to be lonely
But he does
That is until he can find some
That can accept him for him
Accept the inside and not just the outside
