Rat In The Hearth
Made of flesh and questions
rises from a box of matches
attempting a shot a day
reborn distracted
He runs into the mud of his escapes
to search for clean kitchens
in search of food with which to curse
There are hordes of thoughts
with long tails and big eyes
those who run
in the slums of the heart
trying to withstand
A monument to himself
caresses of gnawed
nights in the uniforms themselves
They run without warning
these mice in the heart
always looking
a place that have no memory
and especially
that there can't exist

Love
Love,
Is like the wind,
It passes by,
And leaves nothing,
Behind,
Just passes through,
My heart,
My soul,
And never let me,
Enjoy the feeling,
The sensation,
Of being cared for,
By someone,
Who really loves me.
Why is my life,
So desperate always?
Why is love,
Treating me,
So unkindly?
I look forever,
I search forever,
Look everywhere,
Search everywhere,
And all I end,
Up with is,
A love that,
Never lasts long.
My heart is a,
Heart of pain.
It has never,
Been able to love,
Someone longer,
Than it wants to.
I always love,
But does,
That person love me?
The answers,
To my questions,
Are always,
Painful,
And different to,
Take into term.
Am I suppose,
To search,
The rest of,
My lonely life?
Where will I go?
Where will I search?
I am tired,
Of searching,
And wondering,
Day by day.
Why must my heart,
Be all pain,
And none of love?

Nude Beach Ahead
Whirlwind lifting shapeless seas
Frosted
Crashing
In hot breeze
Search about
A sight be found
Bare, raw flesh
Nudity
Sandpiper shifting shells for food
Millions
Billions
On top it stood
Search about
A bug be found
Bare, bug flesh
And good
Nude, beach combing, swinging free
Jesus
Please
I looked back to see
Search about
Virgin eyes look down
Bare, raw flesh
Nudity
Escape behind eyelids blushing red
Seconds
Minutes
Hurry by all these
Search about
Can isolation be found
No, just a sigh

My Agony
A definite substance prolongs my agony,
In it there is a certain chaos of feeling,
My search is endless in this quaking hour,
My search prolongs the search for everyone.
This reality has become boredom,
Justice steals the treasure from the devil,
Likelihood of differences is huger than sin,
Liking us is the way to the cure.
My real place has shot at the mirrors,
Inputs and outputs stay where they are,
Listening has understood the air,
Let them hear the molecules of awe.
Instead of partners whose decisions
Are arbitrary, the resting is attained
And the losers commit shocking tales
To withstand the crowds in repentance.

Questions? ? ?
whenever one falls
he looks above and yell
Why God why?
but he never try to think
what had i done?
when one stumble in the dark
he asked God why is it
to be that way..Where are you God?
Yet he never try to search for the light
that is flickering in his sight..
when one is brushed up with the
mercyless currents of distress
he sobs and wails God why did you left me
yet he never try to find out
was there a banca or a saiboat resting on the shore?
yeah why do one always qustion
the wisdom of the Almighty
was this world not enough for hime
to search for the solutions
of her agony and worries?
maybe his fit is but a piece
of the ant's food
and he does not know that God
exist but he needs be a doer
for he is master of his faith
and he has the power of the will..
no questions asked without answers
they lie in man; s hand
they rside in man's heart
that has always been
eversince the beginning of times

You exist now only in my heart
You exist now only in my heart...
You exist now only in my heart,
An ode to my internal defeat
A fading memory from an eternal realm,
A time gone by and incomplete.
You exist now only in my heart,
A message which truly proclaims
Your very essence and nature changed,
speaking softly your innumerable true names.
You exist now only in my heart,
As the wind carries my thoughts of you
Toward the angels standing in the clouds,
Innocently fairing me to bid you adieu.
You exist now only in my heart,
In the nature of who you've been,
But now, you are more than I'll ever know,
as I walk along this grassy knoll, ever so green.
You exist now only in my heart...

My Love Is Gone
I search my soul and it was empty.
I search my heart and nothing was there.
I look into your eyes and nothing i felt.
What as gone wrong
i asked my head.
The morning you came,
you were not my old same.
Though immaculate as an angel
yet i could not feel your present.
Where is the love i once cherished?
The love i once hold dear?
The love that makes me
high without wine?
Like trooping soldiers,
questions engulfed me.
I search for scars
that you never left,
and there was nothing.
Nothing to hold for a reason
As drops of salt in the ocean
My Love is gone.

As The World Falls Down
There's such a sad look
Deep in your eyes.
A kind of pale jewel
Open and closed
Within your eyes.
I'll place the sky
Within your eyes.
There's such a fooled heart
Beatin' so fast
In search of new dreams.
A love that will last
Within your heart.
I'll place the moon
Within your heart.
As the pain sweeps through

Theory
when emotions run deep
we relive the memories that we keep
sometimes our eyes begin to weep
many nights we lose sleep
with all our feelings thrown in a heap
we feel as if our heart skips a beat
and time just seems to creep
in our soul we search for peace
in our mind we search for emotional release
soon enough the pain will cease
and the joy will increase
it`s a theory at least

Paradise
Where the river runs black
I take the schoolbooks from your pack
Plastics, wire and your kiss
The breath of eternity on your lips
In the crowded marketplace
I drift from face to face
I hold my breath and close my eyes
I hold my breath and close my eyes
And I wait for paradise
And I wait for paradise
The virginia hills have gone to brown
Another day another sun going down
I visit you in another dream
I visit you in another dream
I reach and feel your hair
Your smell lingers in the air
I brush your cheek with my fingertips
I taste the void upon your lips
And I wait for paradise
And I wait for paradise
I search for you on the other side
Where the river runs clean and wide
Up to my heart the waters rise
Up to my heart the waters rise
I sink 'neath the water cool and clear
Drifting down, I disappear
I see you on the other side
I search for the peace in your eyes
But theyre as empty as paradise
Theyre as empty as paradise
I break above the waves
I feel the sun upon my face

Mind Masters
Search for attention and recognition;
Search for food, clothes and shelter;
Search for love with opposite gender.
Mind dictates the three for a compromise.

Curse Of The Traveller
On the restless road to nowhere
Theres no certain peace it seems
Desire to keep on moving
Till the river of dreams
Is it just because someone told you
Is it just because you found
Old freedom feels uneasy when duty is around
When allegiance asks the questions
Old freedom twists and turns
And chokes on codes of honour
On the sword of no return
And its the curse of the traveller
The curse of the traveller
Got a hold of me
And it wont let you be
And in sleepless nights
Youll call her name
And feel loneliness cold to the bone
And when the daylight breaks
This old tired heart aches
To be such a long way, such a long way from home
And you long for the harbourlights
But youll never be free
Of the craving for refuge
And the call of the sea
Always wanting to sell up
But always needing to buy
So till the road leads to somewhere
And that river runs dry
Its the curse of the traveller
Aint gonna let you be
The curse of the traveller
And it sure got a hold of me

I Want A Warning
History is made, not repeated
And you hide behind words that make you feel needed
And what you read in those books made you so conceited
So in order for love to be true
My dreams will have to
Become my only rules
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
I see through all your promises and warnings
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
I see through all your promises and warnings
Wake me up on into a world outdated
And the older you get the more you seem jaded
As you search for the quotes to make it seem complicated
So in order for love to be true
Even my nightmares
Become my only rules
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
I see through all your promises and warnings
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
But I've seen through
Every promise is a warning
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
I see through all your promises and warnings
I want a warning
I want a warning
I want something more than a warning
I've been warned about you
I've seen through
For a promise of a warning

To My Bones
In my sleep it rips through
my meagre skin
throws off the red bandage of the flesh
and goes strolling through the room
my monument a little incomplete
one can be prodigal
with tears and blood
what will endure here the longest
must be thoughtfully provided for
better (than with a priest's dry finger
to the rains which drip from a cloud of sand)
to give one's monument to the academey
they will prop it up in a glass display case
and in Latin they will pray before
the little altar made from an os frontalis
they will reckon the bones and surfaces
they will not forget not overlook
happily I will give my color of eyes
pattern of nails and curve of eyelids
I the perfectly objective
made from white crystals of anatomy
can for thoughts
heart cage
bony pile
and two shins
you my little monument not quite complete

Where Did You Sleep?
You pushed away your rocking chair
Your seven years of living
Choose to think it over, you could try
You held beauty on your knee
You felt you were so giving
You made one feel special, then goodbye
Now tell me where did you go?
A long way from me
Was it someone I know?
Search your soul
A long way from me
'Cos I need to know, how far you'd go
Where did you sleep?
Tell me who's gonna show
It's so in you're nature
To keep your face well hidden
Make a fox feel proud, you're so sly
Cannot play this game
My heart's tired, are we sinking?
You made me once feel special, say goodbye
Now tell me where did you go?
A long way from me
Was it someone I know?
Search your soul
A long way from me
'Cos I need to know, how far you'd go
Where did you sleep?
Tell me who's gonna show
INSTRUMENTAL
So push away you're rocking chair
That seven years of giving
No time to think it over, so don't try
Now tell me where did you go?
A long way from me
Was it someone I know?
Search your soul
A long way from me
'Cos I need to know, how far you'd go
Where did you sleep?
Tell me who's gonna show
Now tell me where did you go?
A long way from me
Was it someone I know?
Search your soul
A long way from me
'Cos I need to know, how far you'd go
Where did you sleep?
Tell me who's gonna show
Where did you sleep last night?

Keep It Right Here
**you are the love without exception
Youre in my book of answered prayers
No need to change your hearts direction
At every crossroad Ill be there**
Through endless nights and lifes confusion
Just simply sound your hearts alarm
I guarantee youll find compassion
Right here within these open arms
There will be nights some restless nights
When youre alone your thoughts start to wander
Wonderin if its right, you search the night
Baby youre home, why look any farther
*keep it right here,
Keep it right here
Your sweet love
Keep it right here,
Keep it right here
Your sweet love*
You are the love that I can count on
The only one who truly cared
Deep in your eyes I found my fortune
I treasure every night weve shared
There will be nights some restless nights
When youre alone your thoughts start to wander
Wonderin if its right, you search the night
Baby youre home, why look any farther
( * repeat)
When youre lost and lonely
Nowhere to turn
Call out my name
Theres no need to face it alone
You know the answer
Deep in your heart
Dont doubt what weve got
Cause baby youre home
(** repeat)
(* repeat)

Sonnet XXIX: Like Some Weak Lords
Like some weak lords, neighbor'd by mighty kings,
To keep themselves and their chief cities free,
Do easily yield, that all their coasts may be
Ready to store their camps of needful things:
So Stella's heart finding what power Love brings,
To keep itself in life and liberty,
Doth willing grant, that in the frontiers he
Use all to help his other conquerings:
And thus her heart escapes, but thus her eyes
Serve him with shot, her lips his heralds are;
Her breasts his tents, legs his triumphal car;
Her flesh his food, her skin his armor brave,
And I, but for bacuse my prospect lies
Upon that coast, am giv'n up for a slave.

A Box of Hearts
You have my heart in a silver box
wrapped in a sly smile
and you creep in my corner eye
stealthily.
You make no effort to acknowledge this
or even to open it
to take a peek
at what was given you long ago
by mistake.
The key is hidden in some secret place
and I search for it
even while unsure if my goal is to soothe
or retrieve;
yet I cannot be content; keyless.
I approach you at times
search your eyes
silently asking
where is my
missing soul?
You smile
that beautiful smile
flip your hair the way you do
engorged as you are with
numerous hearts in that silver box.
In the bad time nights
I wonder if you'd be soulless
without that silver box
like a collector with no quivering specimens.
I think probably;
and that helps me sleep
vowing relentlessly to seek
that hidden key
you have nonchalantly
swallowed
preventing me
from moving on
or to stay and get what I need.

My Walking Thoughts
In my long search for what my hearts longs for,
The wind did saw me and my agony,
Flooded with tears of something not found,
In this incompletion of my life,
So shall my heart look to the stars,
The hope that nature will do wonders,
My walking thoughts keep the search
Im haunted by the memories every night,
My sheets become so cold,
In that shivering moment Im at unrest,
Outside the window are unusual winds,
I know where im at peace,
My thoughts searched and found none,
Walking and walking, remain my thoughts
Walking up and down are my thoughts,
So unfocused like the phantoms,
Searching your presence my love,
Which I know is ever absent
My despair extends my pain,
My walking thoughts so futile,
Searching but to no avail,
Such is my love, seeking yours

I Search
I search for that something called an Identity
I search for the eternally dynamic being called 'me'
I search for that ever-elusive ray of Hope
That'll steady my walk on life's tightrope
I search for that stroke of Brilliance
That'll make me stand out among millions
I search for that much-needed Common Sense
That'll help me to decipher utter nonsense
I search for that slippery thing called Fame
That'll erase all my past memories of shame
I search for that quality called Tenacity
That'll help me cope with life's complexity
I search for that something called a Carefree Life
That'll remove me from worries and Danger's knife
I search for something called an Identity
And I still search for that being called 'me'
