Racism Still Sadly Continues...

Racism comes in many different shapes and forms
Sadly I have had my fair share since I’ve been born
Judged before I have been even given a chance
Delaying my future and for my career to advance

My parents tell me of stories they have had to endure
I wish racism was a sickness with a dose of medication to cure
Thankfully there are good hearted and educated people
Who can look beyond skin colour and treat us all as an equal

Why would another person’s skin colour be such an issue?
Get to know them; they might have things in common just like you
I am so fed up of hearing “They from so and so, they all the same”
Everyone has differences but skin colour is not to blame

I wonder sometimes is it because the racist themselves are afraid to mix
Who knows, I am only looking for a solution to get it fixed
It’s a major problem none of us like or need,
How sad to hear, a racist sees skin colour the only reason to want to make you bleed
You see films like ‘Mississippi Burning’
I think to myself that was then but when are racist going to start learning?

If humans never saw in colour, what would it be like then?
I am sure everyone would get along and call each other friend
I hope my kids and the next generation never get to witness racism first hand
Lets pray for them racism was a issue in the past that no longer stands

Life is hard as it is, without the need of racism
Like supporting our family and giving our kids a good education
Ways to stop racism should begin at home and school
Getting along will be our biggest advantage, our strongest tool
I did have people who I did call friends
But their own racist views meant our friendship had to end

It does not matter, if your white, black or brown
You should feel safe to walk and talk in any town
Racism has to be erased from every country and every street
Knowing racism is not an issue when theirs someone new we meet
Everyone has the right to go anywhere they choose
Because whilst racism is still alive, no one wins, everybody lose

To those facing racism, all I can say is be brave and stay strong
To those racist, deep down in your heart you must know it’s wrong?
God blessed us by putting us here, giving us all different shades of colour
Were not meant to have the same colour skin, but we all can respect one another

Martin Luther King Jr said in 1963 “I have a dream”
But up to now it has yet to be seen

Racism

Racist prejudice had blinded the minds of mankind,
Thus forgetting the enormous contributions of one another on this earth;
Is it the colour of my skin or the colour of your skin?
Who made them all?
Racist, racist! Racism! !
I grew up in a family which respects all colours,
So i don't see why we should condemn what the Creator created!
And He is the ONLY ONE who knows the secret of these colours.

Racism On It

Racism on it does not have gender or colour or creed
And the Human World of it is surely not in need
The greatness in 'the fair go' the racist seems to miss
There is truth in the saying that ignorance is bliss
Racism does not have a nationality it is not black, white or brown
And racists live in the countryside and every village and city and town
No shortage of racists in the Human World of today
Yet they are in minority that would seem fair to say
The majority I know of not racist in any way
To those different to them due respect they do pay
In the Human World it does not have any use
And for racism there never is an excuse
The racists as people in their ways are small
Long live the greatness in 'a fair go for all'.

Racism and the Culture Of Racism

We must be aware…..,
Of the Culture Of Racism….,
It’s a slur and a swear….,
The Culture Of Racism….! ! !

Can’t turn your back….,
On the Culture Of Racism….,
Or you’ll feel the whack…,
Of the Culture Of Racism….! ! !

It’s hard to believe….
The Culture Of Racism….,
That’s why we all grieve….,
The Culture Of Racism…! ! !

We must face the facts….,
On the Culture Of Racism ….! ! !
Cause we’ve seen the attacks…..,
Of the Culture Of Racism….,

It follows us all…,
The Culture Of Racism….,
But we must stand tall….,
Against the Culture Of Racism….! ! !

Can we control or stop it….,
As long as it’s been livin’….? ? ?
That’s the priceless question….,

Racism Is Around Me Everywhere

Of human ignorance I am almost in despair
For racism is around me everywhere
But like they say sheer ignorance is bliss
Just like Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

Some people carry their honour in a flag
And of their Nationality they brag
They feel superior and they differentiate
And against those who are different they discriminate.

So many people still judged by their race
For such there never ought to be a place
'A fair go' those untruthful words I do recall
There is no such a thing as a 'fair go for all'.

Though we live in a so called democracy
Of racism we never will be free
They judge you by where you come from and the colour of your skin
For many equality and respect seems impossible to win.

It's been awhile since the days of Martin Luther King
His name to it has a familiar ring
If against racism he did not choose to strive
Today the great man he would be alive.

So many holding the reins of power not spiritually aware
And racism is around me everywhere
And racism only leads to division and war
Just goes to show how ignorant some are.

The racism

The racism erases
the beautiful memories
and it believes
in the perfect
world
The racism is
a too big
and horrible problem
It is a
wrong and impure
mistake
The racism is
a bad and
public thought
The racism is
played by the
poors of reasons
The racism doesn't
live in the
jungle but it
lives in the
modern society
I'm against the
racism
The racists are
cursed because they
are false
For me the
racism resides in
the hate
For the innocents
the racism is
lost war
For me the
racism doesn't exist
in a citizen
world
For me the
racism is a
terrible suffering
It can't stand
the harmony and
the heart of
a bay
It survives in
the evident darkness
The racism hates
the comfortable and
hospitable villa
The racism serves
the big Evil
It doesn't use
the magic
It wants to
destroy the balance
between the people
For the angels
the racism is
a shame and
a bright lie

Racism Kills

Racist people,
Are the saddest these days.
Racist people,
And their ways...
Are fading away.

Hatred kills!
Chills.
And often excused,
As heroism.

Hatred kills!
And for thrills,
Often is defended...
As a pride.
No matter if it hangs...
Or drags alongside,
Insecurites denied.
Hiding the fact...
Their is jealousy behind,
Evil and often...
Masquerading eyes.

Black, white...
Brown or yellow folks,
Provoking attacks.
On others.
Or themselves!
To stab with a vengeance,
Behind a back.
To distort facts!

Racism kills.
And there is no sense in it.
Racism kills.
And the sense that's meant.
Racism kills.
Leaving minds incensed.
Exposing ills...
And evil wills.

Racism kills.
And there is no sense in it.
Racism kills.
And the sense that's meant.
Racism kills.
Leaving minds incensed.
Exposing ills...
And evil wills.
And evil wills to kill will end.

Living Together

Why does mankind hate people based on religion and race?
Is it ignorance, education, or governments deciding our place.

For people are people regardless of the color of their face.
And the love in our hearts is an example of God's grace.

European people are the most powerful people under the sun.
Asians, Blacks, and Jews are constantly under the economic gun.

But people should not be exploited because of the color of skin.
White people must reject racism for a world of love to begin.

But are not Blacks, Jews, and Asians also guilty of racism?
For some of their religious leaders are advocates of separatism.

Now all people, whites, Asians, Jews, and Blacks, live on earth.
For racism will show God how much our souls are really worth.

All people will die and their bodies will stink becoming dirt.
And the devil will have the souls of all racist to forever hurt.

For Love is the most powerful force throughout the world.
Conquering all obstacles and causing racist minds to whirl.

We can't take money religion family or hate when we die.
But we can take love, and send it back to those who will cry.

For only love will cure any grieving and lonely heart.
And cause a no-good son or daughter to give life another start.

People are just human beings regardless of their ethnic pride.
So people should try to constantly look spiritually inside.

So forget about religion racism and discriminating government.
Because only Brotherhood will eliminate all bills and the rent.

The Colour Of Our Skin

Why are we obsessed with a persons colour,
When life without it would be so much duller,
We only get one chance in this life,
Yet another's shade can cause so much strife.

We'll buy black and white paint without thinking twice,
Decorate Yellow and Red and say it looks nice,
Yet when it comes to the colour of a persons face,
For some unknown reason we think of their race.

Why do we create this terrible mess?
We are all human beings, no more no less,
Regardless of colour it's perfectly true,
One colour can do anything the other can do.

Let's try and put this into perspective,
All other life forms are just not as selective,
Colour to them is mainly for disguise,
It is also an attraction which pleases their eyes.

If we looked at these others then maybe we'd learn,
That colours an asset not a matter for concern,
Here are some examples which will show there's a link,
If nothing else they should make you think.

If ten people died from different cultures,
Then from above appeared some vultures,
Would they look down and say, which colour will we eat?
Of course they wouldn't to them we're just meat.

As the lions stalked humans out in the bush,
They thought which one will we kill if it comes to a push,
There's red and yellow and black and white,
We're not really sure which one is right.

The leader of the pride said, go catch your game
Forget their colour they all taste the same
We don't really care about colour or creed
If we don't kill we die we must have our feed.

Their attitude to life is more clever than us,
Simple ideals they make less of a fuss,
Their aim in this life is just to survive,
If we weren't here all lifeforms would thrive.

Humankind's made in Gods image is what they say,
So why do some humans feel this way,
What colour is God if that's really true,
If truth be told we do not have a clue.

Racism is a purely a human trait,
So what's going to happen when we reach Heavens gate,
Will God harbour racist thoughts in his head,
Then say no black or white just yellow and red.

That's the dilemma facing us here,
There are some we accept while others we fear,
If we could accept who we are comes from within,
There would be no need to worry about,

Kevin Andrews

Kevin Andrews the Australian Minister for Immigration says African refugees don't adjust to life in this Land
That Australian ways and culture they do not understand
His excuse for accepting less of African refugees
Seems nothing but latent racism of varying degrees.

He says African refugees are not well educated I only quote what he say
His remarks smack of racism in a very latent way
Kevin Andrews will never be seen as a great
He's not the type of person we should celebrate.

With words he is clever as most politicians are
He just says so much without taking it too far
Just to appease the racist voters amongst the voters out there
And racists as we well know have never been rare.

The accusation that he is a racist of course Kevin denies
Though his feelings on the matter he can barely disguise
And though many with what he says may well agree
It does sound like latent racism to me.

No Matter What Your Nationality

No matter what our Nationality our colour or our creed
We are air breathing mortals and when we cut we bleed
We may look on them as inferior as weeds amongst the flowers
But the proof of their equality is their blood flows red like ours.

Racism is born of ignorance and ignorance is based on fear
That's what happens when the negative things of those we do not know we only wish to hear
'Til to the sharp scythe of the Reaper we eventually must fall
So lets toast egalatarianism and a fair go for all.

No matter where we come from or our title to fame
One day it will not matter to us we will all be the same
On our great journey through life we may weather many a storm
But we must all return to Nature in whatever shape or form.

No matter what our Nationality or no matter what our Race
We are mere mortals born to die and others to take our place
Ignorance and lack of empathy to racism does lead
And differences no more than skin deep, red is the blood we bleed.

Racism: A Brief Analasis

What is racism?
Is it one person's way of calling himself better?
Is it humans putting each other down simply because how they were born?

What is racism?
Is it a group claiming rights to life?
Is it making someone into a Jerusalem thorn?

'What is racism? '
Many have asked such a thing.
It is stubborn souls judging taste by the color of the corn.

A Rainbow Coloured God

God gave us colours in our daily routine,
A clear blue sky the grass so green,
The colours of the mammals, all the life in the seas,
Our rainforest habitat they're all there to please.

Our colour's a gift which we can use and enjoy,
Yet it's also an issue we can use to destroy,
This subject is unique to the human race,
That we can judge another by the colour on their face.

Racism is prevalent wherever you travel,
It's a problem the scientists have failed to unravel,
We claim to love colour but that's strictly not true,
If you're the wrong shade there could be trouble for you.

We claim to be intelligent yet nuance is still used,
As a reason for hatred an excuse to be abused,
If only we could accept that we are what we are,
Racism would die we'd be on an equal par.

We must fight back or our cultures they'll smother,
There's no colour on earth is superior to another,
Under all our skins we're exactly the same,
We're all trying to survive in life's great game.

There are evil people who'll use our colour to fight,
They don't give a damn if they're wrong or right,
The only message they are trying to convey,
Is you'll do what you're told you do not have a say.

They claim their saviour inspires hostile intent,
That's a message that's certainly not heaven sent,
The good Lord above wants us all to believe,
These people are evil they are trying to deceive.

Religion and colour are attributes to cherish,
Treat them with contempt and we'll all surely perish,
Our creators teachings are of peace not war,
Killing and maiming we all know he'd abhor.

When the racists are judged they'll be held to account,
Those crimes they committed they will never surmount,
The God who presides over them what colour will he be,
What will he look like very soon they will see.

There's none of them know but they're in for a shock,
As they all stand silent to be judged in his dock,
From out of the shadows the good Lord did appear,
He said let me make it abundantly clear.

I created you in my image in different shades,
Your abuse of my colours now that's what really degrades,
The racists from every culture stood rooted and overawed,
for standing there in judgement was,

For Some To Be Racist

For racism in this World there should not be a place
For the crimes of one you condemn a whole race
For some to be racist any excuse they will find
Since racism is born of ignorance and ignorance is blind.

On your thinking on race you seem so far from right
The windows of your soul are shaded to light
Like a malignant cancer racism does grow
Of this person's race how many do you know?

To our idea of perfection we may try to cling
But of a perfect race there is no such a thing
Before we learned how to walk we first had to crawl
And the reaper one day will take care of us all.

Everybody is somebody's daughter and somebody's son
And you condemn a whole race for the crimes of one
All sinners are obliged to live with their shame
And for the sins of the father the son you don't blame.

Pinky, Pinky, what race?

Pinky, Pinky what colour….
We used to play as a child.
As a teen we learnt abt different colours
As an adult we came to know about race
We don’t play pinky pinky, what race? now a days! !

We accepted racism,
We were not surprised,
b’coz by then we were adult,
Started accepting things as it is,
We lost the habit of questioning everything as a child it seems!

In VIBGYOR tell me which colour is predominant, Is it white?
In rainbow which color has got high percentage, Is it white?
How can one discriminate among equals,
We talk abt racism, as an Indian we don’t follow it?
We hunt for white brides for our grooms, I may ask why?
The “foreigner look” still strikes in our mind,
We have built an attitude of inferiority among ourselves,
Chuck out that, come in light.
Don’t be under false notion of black and white.
Ignorance can be overlooked,
But racism under cover must come to book.
We tolerate that’s our guilt,
Stop it and instead shout for it!

No You Don't. AND, You Wont

'I am getting increasingly uncomfortable,
With all of this racist talk.'

That may be an honest admission,
You have openly stated to give...
For all to hear!
However...
This has not prevented you,
From committing acts of racism.

'Well...
You see...
That's where you and I disagree.
There is a difference in committing,
Acts of racism.
Than there is in the admitting of them done.'

I shall remain forever discreet.'

We Do Not Need Racism

In the Human World it does not belong
We do not need racism since it is so wrong
The racists in their ways are so very small
To have them amongst us a blight on us all.

Since red is the blood we are born with to bleed
The racists amongst us we surely don't need
The scourge of racism is a human disgrace
For it in the Human World there ought not to be a place.

Racism is the source of serious crimes against humanity
Without racists so much better off we all would be
The torch of hatred of difference they set to flame
To have them amongst us is to all of our shame.

To war and to conflicts racism does lead
Without it the Human World would be better indeed
The racists amongst us to us all a put down
They never bring honour to their side of the town.
