Purple Slurple (Children)
Hey, let’s make a purple slurple.
It’s good, I can show you how.
I won’t spill like when I was little,
I’m six, I can make it now.
You can get out the glasses
and then add some lumps of ice.
I’ll get all the other stuff out.
Thanks for your help, you’re nice.
We’ll glug six times with 7-Up,
add four shakes of sugar on top,
then stir with a big wooden spoon
and mix it in with the soda pop.
Then we’ll add the grape juice.
That’s what makes the slurple purple.
But be careful when you drink, go slow,
or your tummy makes a GREAT BIG burple!

Purple Rain
(prince)
I never meant to cause you any trouble
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only ever wanted to see you laughing
Only want to see you laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I never wanted to be your wicked lover
Only wanted to be some kind of friend
I could never leave you for another
Its such a shame our friendship had to end
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only wanted to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I know, I know, I know times are changing
This time we all reach out for something new
That means you too
You say youre looking for a leader,
But you cant seem to make up your mind
But you better open it up wide, let it guide you
To the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you, baby, in the purple rain

If Purple Could Heal You
If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you
If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights
If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe
Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you

Fade To Purple
As if Im sitting on purple clouds
Covered in purple shrouds
Singing purple kissed melodies loud
The Purple Master himself would be proud
Gifted, these fragrant purple flowers
Soaking wet, drenched from purple showers
Lifted, high high high atop purple towers
Yet as I walk through purple haze rooms
Filled with purple phased fumes
Im enlightened by the purple tazed blooms
Purple vibes that remove crazed glooms
Hungry I appetize on purple wood blunts
To then feast upon a purple smoke lunch
Break bread, along with the purple grape bunch

Purple Pain-A Parody
Inspired by Barny the purple dinosaur
Parody of Prince's song Purple Rain
Purple pain
You were always meant I know
To cause me sorrow
You were always meant I know
To make me wanna bleed my own blood and gouge out my eyes
You were always meant I know
To cause me pain
Now all I ever want
Since I saw you on my tv screen is for you
You damm purple pain to drown
In the purple rain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only want to see you drowning in the purple rain
Oh you damm purple pain
I never wanted my kids to love you
I only thought of you as some kind of fiend
Barney, I could never stand you for another minute
So my television now I must turn off
Even through I know it would make my babies cry
It's such a shame that your lifetime has't come to a end
Oh, oh yes it is
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only wanted to see you drown
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain
Oh yes it's true
Purple pain
In the purple rain
Honey, you must know
You must know
The channel I'm a changin'
It's time we all tune in to something new
That means not you
You say you could be a rating's leader
But your agent just can't seem to speak his mind
At the right time
I think you had better fire him
And let me drown you
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
If you know who I'm singing about up here
C'mon raise your remote
Purple pain
Purple pain
I only want to see you
See you drown
Oh yeah, drown
You purple pain
In the purple rain

The Purple Hat Society
Do you look good in purple,
Do you dare wear it?
If you ask this question,
You are not ready for
The purple hat society.
Do you discard a shard
Or mock a crooked crock?
Do you see knaves
When looking at princes?
Then you are not ready for
The purple hat society.
Do you dot all your 'i's
And seal all ziploc bags?
Sorry, you won't
Make it with the purples.
Do you help support
The cosmetic industry
Not to mention spas
And salons?
That's another poem
Altogether.
Do you write a purple poem anyway
Though you know darn well
Nothing rhymes with purple?
Then I've got good news.
Send in your purple dues.

Burst Your Face, Did He
Do not let it fall unto the ground.
Do not wast it, drink it all.
Drink all the purple light.
Purple, white or yellow light instead?
The further out I go I swim in haze.
The closer in you come.
Tell me your name.
Should America die full of such strong woman.
Schizophrenic yet I see.
Purple, yellow hued,
one or two are blue,
black and white the pearls around your neck.
The woman music makes the madness claims.
Your love for him that when he came your face.
I saw it burst into the colors, I above described.

What is Purple?
Purple is a mystery.
Purple is happiness.
Purple is home.
Purple is a sanctuary.
And Purple is my own.
A little place in my mind.
A little sunshine in my day.
Purple is who I am.
And Purple is magic.

Pay back....
Hi, it's me, you remember me,
last night, at the party,
we got it on
and you said you'd call.......
Well here I am. My suitcase?
Oh that thing, yeh
bring it in later.
I'll make myself at home.
This is a nice flat
but we'll change the sofa,
it looks kind of worn
and its fading.
Would you like tea?
I make the best tea in town.
Men have died for my tea,
yeh, it's ace.
Where's the sugar?
Oh it's o.k. I found it.
How many lumps?
Two or three?
D'you know, you've gone pale
too much to drink last night eh....
well now you're paying
so don't complain.
We had such a good time, didn't we?
Yeh, I'm the one
and this is pay back....
I've come to stay.

The Color Purple
a friend of mine is obsessed with purple
she says it's a royal color
fits for kings and queens
and she feels like a princess
on her purple hair
her purple dress
and purple bra and
purple shoes
the walls of her house are painted
the railings of the stairs
the windows
the doors are all purple now
the flowers in her garden
and the leaves of her trees
the grass
all purple too
her speech is purple too
the movies she watch are all in the shade of purple
her car turned purple too
royal color that is what she says
i tell her bluntly, ' You are boring, purple! '

Shoo Fly Pie & Apple Pan Dowdy
If you wanna do right by your appetite,
If youre fussy about your food,
Take a choo-choo today, head new england way,
And well put you in the happiest mood. with:
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy
Makes your eyes light up,
Your tummy say howdy.
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy
I never get enough of that wonderful stuff.
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy makes the sun come out
When heavens are cloudy,
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy,
I never get enough of that wonderful stuff!
Mama! when you bake,
Mama! I dont want cake;
Mama! for my sake
Go to the oven and make some ever lovin sh,
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy
Makes your eyes light up,
Your tummy say howdy,
Shoo fly pie and apple pan dowdy
I never get enough of that wonderful stuff!

Come On
People talkin' but they just don't know,
What's in my heart, and why I love you so.
I love you baby like a miner loves gold.
Come on sugar, let the good times roll.
(Let the good times roll).
So many people live in make believe,
They keep a lot a going up their sleeves.
But my love baby is no kind that folds.
Come On Baby, let the good times roll.
(Let the good times roll).
Let the good times roll
Oh come on baby
Come on baby andlet daddy do you so
Hey yeah, baby let the good times roll
A love is nice if it's understood
It's even nicer when you're feelin' good
You got me flippin' like flag on a pole
Come on sugar, let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
Hey!
Let the good times roll
Let me show a baby
Let the good times roll

Silly; Short: Purple
What can I write about purple, the color?
Over that above question I shall mull …. or
just make some stuff up you might just believe.
Let's see what Brian has up his sleeve.
Purple was the seventh color discovered by man.
It's the most often used color in a Chinese fan.
When someone acts silly, we say they are 'acting purple'.
The only word it rhymes with is the archaic word snurple.
Purple was my hair color when I was born.
That that is true, my oldest brother has sworn.
In England they spell purpple with one, two, three p's.
A billion years ago it was the color of all the tree leaves.
You'll forgive me (I hope) for acting purple today.
Now that I'm retired it is one of the way……..
zi get along ….. without too much knowledge.
It may be one big reason ….. I was kicked out of college! !

like a game of hide and seek and i play every day i
close my eyes and i count to ten one two three and
everybody runs away i'm in a bad way it's such a
bad way can't you give a damn on a better day i
can't come out to play when i'm in such a bad bad

The Purple Sage
Purple sage is a beautiful thing,
Flowering in violet,
In winter or spring.
The leaves vary from silver to green,
It grows wild in Texas,
Of the wild it's the king.
Flowers are white, purple, or pink,
But only the purple,
Makes you mind stop and think.
Songs and stories, have come down through time,
Of the purple sage,
In it's inhospitable climes.
If your'e ever in Texas, come check it out,
Cause the purple sage,
Is what Texas is about.

Purple Passions
Purple Desires
illuminate my mind
Purple fragrances
mesmorize my impulses
impulses, which drive me wild,
put me in a trance
everytime i am with you.
Purple Clouds
keep me in a daze
looking at the sky
I can see the outline of your face
in those clouds
I feel purely divine introvention
just the mention of your name
Purple Flowers all around me
I just love it
Sensuality
Can you believe the color purple
can make me feel closer to you
gets me that way
Do you see the color purple,
when you look at me too?

A Lovely Lavender Day
Purple, everything purple, purple
the colour I love, everything packaged
in purple – tile cleaner in a purple
container for lavender sweetness
Also power-cleaning cream for lavender-
fresh effects, the bottle appealing in a
soft purple hue, fabric conditioner in purple
too, accompanied by lavender promises
And my purple hot water bottle – I bought
Nici a purple fleece; a purple coverlet
on my bed, my favourite chocolate in a
purple wrapper
Purple is spiritual in the division of
seven chakra colours – red is earthed in
primitive desire, followed by orange, yellow,
green – the colour of love – and
Blue – the colour of communication, then
purple for third-eye enlightenment - purple
adds lustre and the sweetness of vague
mistiness to everything on which it appears;
Wishing you a lovely lavender day
in all hues of purple and blue!
