Saphires, rubies, pearls and diamonds too.
But dare you say, for LOVE you won't be sold?

That high you dwell, atop a towering tor!
Like Bruce's spider, ceaselessly we will
Try to heave ourselves right up to your door
By scaling, inch by inch, your craggy hill!

That none can see or hear you; so no clue
We have to track you down. But we can feel
Your presence versus present absence too:
Suffices this, your hide-out to reveal!

There’s something we should do

To end all their brutal war games

Case for war was fake,

Evasive
With a tight and nail biting grip...
They held onto the rails
Of the sinking ship known as Evasive!
And all on board,
Relied on it for generations
To guide them through shifting winds
And seas of trubulence often conquered.
Evasive was growing old and tired
Of charting courses it had taken for granted...
Although increasingly becoming more challenging,
With each mission undertaken!
The storms became more threatening...
And Evasive began to leak!
Showing signs of weakness ignored
By passengers entertained by tradition.
Those allowing themselves to ride along,
Under the influence of submission!
Granting a conceived 'vision' of strength
To delude them with a reliable reinforcement
That was rumored to be forthcoming!
Those secured on islands of thought...
Denied Evasive docking at their ports!
Many onboard sought 'new ports'...
For comfort and safe haven!
But...
Some of those who rode with a liberal colorblindness,
Could not see their pastures fading beneath their feet!
Too many demanded to command...
And their destinies became uncertain and bleak!
No one witnessed those who knew how to survive,
Leave them and their ways...
Leaping to shores of welcome
When the signs of discontent,
First began to rock Evasive
With a surf of lapping truth surging
And rising to defeat Evasive!
All shouted...'Stay the course of our journey'!

What is peace? ?
Peace is when you care for others,

Peace Came
When peace came,
I showered under streaming light
- Silent, settling -
Effectuating over all -
The reassurance drunk
From Mother Nature's breast.
And rays channeled through
The greys of ancient gloom
That paste the hopelessness of
Dying on the battlefield or
The losing out upon a risk
In love;
Byes to precious life
(A husband, child, a wife) :
Or failure:
Crashed careers; bleak depression,
The fallen - ruined, spurned -
Covered in veneers of rasping blight.
When peace came, a gate begged
A gentle path inviting me to
Stroll through verdant fields of spring,
Bristling with a bouncing life
Of colour; flowers cheering to
The air ‘We have a chance in nature! '
When peace came, my addled head was
Reconciling, airing, ringing true -
The sense of crushing pressure dead;
Instead, I flamed a faith anew!
When peace came, I saw our youth
Inside a multicultural womb; our
Death was pointing to a proud
And glorious tomb engraved with words of
Freedom for the soul that was when
Once a body whence it thrived.
When peace came, there happened you -
A fragrance dancing ‘gainst a new and
Frightened innocence of beauty
- Eyes ready; slender arms of care -
A tender skin to be caressed.
And we were blessed by starting fresh
In rhythms of pervading warmth;
Serenity.
