Panicgrass and feverfew

helicopters are swimming through the air
and i can smell their vibration.
when the grass is panicked,
i feel thirsty.

i can't breathe
where do I find air?
when will I be floating
amongst the dead alligators
and the oxygen molecules? ...

The Afternoon's Swimming Pool

With your spyglass,
Burn the hyper-active
Centipede-
Create the leaping
Energy that
Makes words dissapear.
Roll up the tinfoil
Into a crude bowl
And smoke your
Mother's weed
While masturbating
In the afternoon's
Swimming pool,
In the tall green
Grass
Whispering beside
The blue canal;
There prehistoric
Alligators swimming,
The hazy shadows
Which last forever
Eating the neighborhood's
Dogs,
Obscure reflections
Of a girl you once
Knew
Casually, ten years
Ago,
Staring up at you....

Carl Sagan

I am a collection of water, calcium and organic molecules called Carl Sagan. You are a collection of almost identical molecules with a different collective label. But is that all? Is there nothing in here but molecules? Some people find this idea somehow demeaning to human dignity. For myself, I find it elevating that our universe permits the evolution of molecular machines as intricate and subtle as we.

The Grass Smells Red

The grass smells red.
Untill these mortal bounds find thier way into the catostrophic fire's of love and redemption, the grass will smell red.
The grass tells a story of wars unsung and battles lost.
The grass tells a story of love gained and a fury found again.
The grass smells red...but does it speak?
Does it's voice ring out like the bells in a steeple?
Does it feel the pain of those who died?
Did it hear the screams?
The grass smells red and it grow's red.
It feels red.
This grass will die red.

Swimming in the sea

Summertime is here
And it is time for me to swim
Bodies of all shapes and sizes
Will be evident in the sea

Swimming in the sea
Provides closure of the winter for me
After being secluded for a few months
It is time to embrace the sea

I hope the sea will not be full
As I would really like to swim
The tingle of water through my feet
Provides peace for me

My body becomes accustomed to the sea
As the heat linger on over the beach
I am engulfed by the waves
“ Ooops…” I am far back in the sea

I see various shapes floating in the sea
They take up all the space
I can hardly breathe
It is hard for me to swim

There are bodies all around me
“Fok! Hoe kan ‘n mens so swem”
Swimming in the sea provides solitude for me
Swimming in the sea sets me free!

The Fan

LOVELY Semiramis
Closes her slanting eyes:
Dead is she long ago.
From her fan, sliding slow,
Parrot-bright fire's feathers,
Gilded as June weathers,
Plumes bright and shrill as grass
Twinkle down; as they pass
Through the green glooms in Hell
Fruits with a tuneful smell,
Grapes like an emerald rain,
Where the full moon has lain,
Greengages bright as grass,
Melons as cold as glass,
Piled on each gilded booth,
Feel their cheeks growing smooth.
Apes in plumed head-dresses
Whence the bright heat hisses,--
Nubian faces, sly
Pursing mouth, slanting eye,
Feel the Arabian
Winds floating from the fan.

Fire

I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot
Swimming weightless in the womb
Bouncing gently round the room
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea
I feel no curiosity
I see the path ahead of me
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea
We hear a tiny cry
As the ship goes sliding by
Free!
Free!
Free!
I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot

I feel free!

Eventually

I met a man
And talked about you
He seemed like a man from Osaka I knew
And he listened while I told him how you hurt me
And he consoled me when he told me he'd been hurt too
And he said we are inter-dependent
And the effects on each other never ending
And that the air has no boundaries
I think this water that surrounds me
Is the same water soaking through to you
So what comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
What comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
I had some tea
With a gal from Paris
We talked about life, sex, love and poetry
And you can't help it
Your name came up again
And she said man those kind of guys
Really know how to steal all of the oxygen
And I said we are inter-dependent
And the effects on each other never ending
And that the air has no boundaries
I think this water that surrounds me
Is the same water soaking' through to you
So what comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
What comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
I have a friend I confide in
He always says doll you got to learn not to lead with your chin
But you can't help it
It all comes up again
And then you have your fill
And your spill reaches down as far as a flood
So what comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
What comes floating to me
Eventually
Will come floating back to you
Eventually
Eventually
Will come floating back to you

Her Laughter

Echo of her laughter fills the room,
suddenly I stop,
my breathing intensifies with every breath, along with my heart beat,
the room is spinning all I hear is the music of my own heart, my own soul, ~ its her laughter,
it intoxicates me, I feel like a drunk fool
Oh God, I can't think, I lost myself in its vibration,
I have to close my eyes, Oh God not again,
I can't see her but I know her ~ its her laughter
I have to find her,
I open my eyes again, my head is still spinning,
I took a step, I tremble, I am shaking
Oh God, I am talking to myself,
I am lost
maybe she can hear me and find me, I close my eyes again, I can't move, I hear it stronger this time, its getting closer
I dive into her laughter, she is swimming inside of me,
she is in my veins,
I feel her, Oh God, I feel her..

Love...

Greasy Grass River

Written by: r. robinson & c. robinson
Now Im swimming in the greasy grass river
On my way to the black pearl sea
Yeah Im floating down the greasy grass river
Come one child come with me
Life is so easy on greasy grass river
Just take my hand and we can pretend to be free
You wanna be
Free
Come on with me
Take me down to the greasy grass river
Wash my hands where the water is clean
Lay me down by the greasy grass river
And unfold my mystery
The greasy grass river has water that whispers
Lets listen closely while
She says she wants to be free
You wanna be
Free
You know what I mean?
Outro:
Im out of my pocket and Im out on my mind

The Marsh

i know how the marshes smell,
used to have the smell of fish and mud
untouched by the body of a boat,
a wooden boat
definitely without the noise of the machine
and the gun
and the bearded men that carry the guns
less the children
and their mothers who have never come
and stayed an inch deep in the water
i have gone there once
i was a virgin, a fresh mind like the lily
of the marsh
i was the pure air of the lilies, i breathe
and they breathe with me
until i become like some of the bearded men
who come with the noise of the machine
and the guns
i do not like the smell of the marshes now
there are dead bodies of children and women
and unaccounted men
rotten, time and the waters finally buried them
less the usual ritual
of good men.

Your mind's ocean

Swimming away
swimming away
swimming away yeah
swimming through the deep blue ocean
nothing but red skies ahead
so put on ya hat and sun screen lotion
operation over cooperation
go swimming in your mind's ocean

The water so still
and the wind in motion
i'll be up and alive
before i'm down and moping
wake up in the water
before you drown
i'll make you want to smile
with my speechless frown
so put on ya hat and sun screen lotion
operation over anticipation
go swimming in your mind's ocean

Thoughts of doom and no hope
I'll dropp them in the oceans deep
To save my eyes when i grope
Dead to the world in this cool sleep
Swimming away
Swimming away
we'll swim all night
And walk all day
so put on ya hat and sun screen lotion
operation over destination
Lets go swimming
Lets go Swimming
in your mind's ocean

The Day Is Make Believe

The waves seem to be learning how to fly,
Or just getting up so that they can try:
Yawning like blue eggs brought to the lips,
Overeasy breakfasts of the sun-
Bicycles sunken in their breasts- the complex jewels
That kids lose while playing-
Knees scabbed by slathering kisses, like tears
That good girls give in a swimming sorority:
Blowing kisses across a sunken street where fireworks
Are swimming on holiday;
And you have to keep your head up to see the forts
Floating up in the sky: they were made to be that way,
Like smoking from the bereaving day-
And little dead angels in those halls pinwheel in the
Attractions in which they find themselves,
And laughing giddily as the soft movement is somehow
Rushed through the shallows- taking your hands up to the side of
The sun, because you are my muse- and
As I am watching you, that is how you learn to pray;
And the day is make-believe, and so am I.

Mars is essentially in the same orbit... Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe.

Breathe

I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
I watch the sunlight dance across your face and I've
Never been this swept away

All my thoughts seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm lying wrapped up in your arms
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart

'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
Suddenly I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby

Hip Albatross

(low rumbling of helicopters
(Clip from Day of the Dead) Every dead body
that is not exterminated becomes
one of them; it gets up and kills!
The people it kills get up and kill!
(zombie sounds and a woman moaning)
(gunshots)
I-I-I-I was born a zombie, on mercury, by the sea
I-I-I-I was born a zombie, on mercury, by the seeeee
-eeeaaahh-aiie...
(Clip from Day of the Dead) Yah-hah,

there, find us an island someplace, get greased

Out My Window

Looking out the window to see the world
The many trees, the birds, Squirrels, the cars
Mother nature's beauty just on the other side
Wishing I could go out and breathe the air
Trapped inside, getting the cabin fever
Health will not let me out
To walk on the grass, smell the flowers
Enjoy the sounds around
The outside world moving like I don't exist
Please a few minutes out before the cold gets me
I live for the touch of grass and dirt between my toes
The smell of rain in the air, birds a flying
No me stuck in this big old chair, gazing out
Wishing to be young to run around
My body so old and dying, where did my time go
When young, mom couldn't keep me in
Football, baseball, hide and seek, I will not peek
Bike rides, skateboards, walks so endlessly around the block
How time has changed, when did I get old
The view out this window brings fond memories
I wish I could go thru it, escape to the their world
Older I get the more I want out
Body creaking, aches and pains, use your brains
Enjoy it form inside, someday you'll get out
Window be my friend and open up
To feel the breeze and smell the air
For it makes me young again

Gone flying

I am floating
Swimming through the air
Think and I can travel there
Exhilarating despair

I know I'm gone
I can never go back
All is lost
Everything I had

I can feel them crying for me
Asking why it had to be
Remembering the times we had
And all the things I never said

I know all now
