Pain, Suffering, & Blue Tears

Pain enters his mind
Suffering tattooed on his heart
He grabs his guitar
Right from the start
Stroking the strings
He looks up to the stars
Wondering for moment
If she feels a sensation of their scar
And at that sullen second
Blue tears streak from his guitar

My Sad Guitar (In Iraq)

When I play...my sad guitar,
With powered chords...of deep emotion.
I strum the strings...with such devotion,
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
In a bunker, built in the sand.
This war torn country, this desert land,
I miss playing...In a rock and roll band.
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
My memories play,
Deep in my mind,
I try to find-
Our... wedding... day!
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

When I play...my sad guitar,
I think of my Harley...My hot-rod car,
Wishing I was home,
With a beer in a bar.
When I play...my...sad...guitar.

My Guitar.

my guitar has six strings,
it gets lonely when nobody sings,
musical and magical,
my pick makes my guitar sound so magical,
and no matter were i go shes right there,
when i play my guitar people always stare,
we sound so good together,
i hope my guitar will stay with me forever,
my guitar has six strings.
but it gets lonely when no one sings,
my guitar is never out of tune,
it doesnt matter who i play it too,
wether you're happy, mad or feeling blue,
just remember my guitar will help you get thru.

Music of the Stars

(to Johnny Alegre)

I heard you first as I walked by
Abelardo Hall
The faint strains of a lead guitar
I just could not ignore

Quietly I entered
the large dim-lit hall
Soon I sat there feeling
What I've never felt before

It was the sound of longing
through the strings of your guitar
A man surrendering his heart
A traveller soul-searching
reaching for the stars
A prayer from the heart

You didn't know me back then
But I can tell you now
The music that possessed you
Took me in its power

For on that day a wayward flame
Touched my very soul
And to this day it haunts me still
A song from long ago

It was the sound of longing
though the strings of your guitar
That echoed the longing in my heart
I know I won't forget
That mystical guitar
That song of timeless distant stars

Yellow Guitar

It’s nothing but me now and these strings
There’s nothing holding me in between
I bought this yellow guitar
And now its stole my heart

There’s nothing but your voice echoing in my head
And nothing to complain to
Yeah I bought this yellow guitar
To sing to you

Cause I got all these words circling my mind
Got to many nights I stayed awake to cry

There’s nothing but these strings now to prove who we are
Im left holding this yellow guitar

Cupids arrow has struck me hard
Surprised how much I am in love
With this yellow guitar

While My Guitar Gently Weeps...

It's hard to tell how many regrets my heart keeps,

After the scars of my heart I see.

Eyes fall short of tears to cry,

While my guitar gently weeps...

When my present turns back and into the past it peeps,

Delightful memories flood in with a sweet pain.

All the anguish comes out through the strings,

While my guitar gently weeps...

As the nostalgia
on my broken heart creeps,

I curse myself for my blunders.

Nobody can ever hear my heart sob,

While my guitar gently weeps...

It is so unfair that the whole world peacefully sleeps,

And has faithful people to care.

But I have nobody to console me,

While my guitar gently weeps...

Singing to my wishing star!

When I sing to my wishing star!
My tears start falling on my Guitar
Realizing now, my dreams are so far
Leaving my heart with a big scar

People look at me
I fake a smile so they won’t see
That I am not the one I used to be
Straggling to understand the word (She)

Finally the master became the slave
Waiting for some one to save
Or to be rotten in his own grave
Remembering when he was brave

Wise man said, find a way or make one
But I didn’t listen, so I decided to run
Searching for pleasure, seeking fun
Then I drive home alone after I am done

“Wishing start” will you bring me back love?
Will you send your blessing from above?
Have mercy on my tears cause I had enough
And life turning to be so tough

But I will still sing on my Guitar
Begging you my wishing star
To bring me what’s far
Healing my heart from any scar

Blue Guitar

I once knew a man
Showed me the slight of hand
In the blink of an eye, he danced across the strings
Played a song I'd never heard
Poignant and absurd
To this day it leaves me wondering
How I wish tomorrow I were fishin'
Boy I've got a mission
Shake it, rattle and roll
Ah, now, just use your intuition
You'll get less competition
From the clock up on the wall
You are what you are
You dream what you dream
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
Play me a serenade
A simple masquerade
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
'Cause we'll all make believe
Someone to deceive
Time is just a folly we can't see
You only know one song
Play it right or wrong
The truth is always somewhere in between
You and I, we can't change the weather
And we're all in this together
So let the strong winds blow
Ah, now things will be much better
If you don't become a prisoner
To the reason you should know
You are what you are
You dream what you dream
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
Play me a serenade
A simple masquerade
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
How I wish tomorrow I were fishin'
Boy I've got a mission
Shake it, rattle and roll
Ah, now, just use you intuition
You'll get less competition
From the clock up on the wall
You are what you are
You dream what you dream
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
Play me a serenade
A simple masquerade
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
You are what you are
You dream what you dream
Play on your Blue Guitar for me
Play me a serenade
Red wine or lemonade
Play on your Bl

The Fastest Guitar Alive

Orbison/dees
Hey here I go a lucky so and so
Happy cos I know Ive got my fast guitar
Singing pretty songs, knowing I belong
I am first and last, and always a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Rattling strings like a gattling gun
Shaped like a lovely woman
Stay right where you are
My guitar is a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Im rolling on like a rolling stone
Gathering no moss, I play a boss guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Strumming like a battling soldiers drum
Shaped like a lovely woman
Stay right where you are
My guitar is a fast guitar
The fastest guitar alive
Hey here I go a lucky so and so
Happy cos I know Ive got my fast guitar
The fastest guitar
The fastest guitar

Playing my little guytar

Playing my little guitar
A new song I start to write
The rhymes come so fast
In the space, the imagination fly

Playing my little guitar
The rhymes become funny to eyes
I start to wish something different
Becoming true the others lies

So the birds start to dance in the floor
And the fishes to fly in the sky
Everything is becoming funny
So, I forget my little guitar, why?

So let it go, let it invent
The world is so beautiful, you don't need to pretend
The tears become a smile
The hate becomes funny for a while
And everything becomes true the imagination
Playing my little guitar
Letting fly my little heart
To something that always you can keep.

Guitar And Pen

You're alone above the street somewhere
Wondering how you'll ever count out there
You can walk, you can talk, you can fight
But inside you've got something to write
In your hand you hold your only pen
Never spend your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
Your guitar or your pen
When you take up a pencil and sharpen it up
When you're kicking the fence and still nothing will budge
When the words are immobile until you sit down
Never feel they're worth keeping, they're not easily found
Then you know in some strange unexplainable way
You must really have something
Jumping, thumping, fighting, hiding away
Important to say
When you sing through the verse and you end in a scream
And you swear and you curse cos the rhyming ain't clean
But it suddenly comes after years of delay
You pick up your guitar and you can suddenly play
When your fingers are bleeding and your knuckles are white
Then you can be sure, you can open the door
Get up of the floor tonight
You have something to write
When you wanna complain there's no one can stop you
But when your music proclaims there's no one can top you
You are wearing your heart on your jumping feet
You've got a head start away from the street
But is that what you want, to be rich and be gone
Could be there's just one thing left in the end
Your guitar and your pen
When you sing to your Mum and you hum and you croon
And she says that she'd like it with more of a tune
And you smash your guitar at the end of the bed
Then you stick it together and start writing again
And you know that it won't be too long till your back -

Searching The Soul

Searching the soul strumming the guitar's sullen strings
Making music to resonate the sorrow of the moment
Roaming on the fret with fingers showing the feelings
Trying to blend the tears of grieving heart's sentiment

Searching the soul for the reasons of the event
Hoping to find the answers for what it meant
Searching the soul to find a way to repent
Trying to forget the bitter past of torment

Searching the soul for love of life that slipped away
Helpless victim of the fate of cruelty of the time
Playing the sad tunes with emotions that is in disarray
Crying in silence while playing the guitar twine

This Ol' Guitar

This ol' guitar
has been my best friend
through thick and thin

It has held all my thoughts
spoken them through melody
words whispered from my heart

And at times
this ol' guitar
has even held tears at bay

Stopped my world from falling apart
it even has kept
this ol' heart from breaking in two

Yes, this ol' guitar
has served these aging hands
of mine so well

This ol' guitar
it has created music
that screamed out to be heard

This ol' guitar
has been my best friend
through thick and thin....

My Guitar And A Penutbutter Jar

I sit and play my guitar all day
as my fingers lay on the strings so tight
strumming it lightly
make sounds of pain
my fingers are bleeding but i dont care
the pain i feel inside is much stronger
why am i still alive?
can i take this any longer?
his voice tells me to keep playing on
my hearts want to die after my last song
i reach for the jar of penutbutter
they say there is happyness at the bottom
but they lie
the only thing i have left
is my guitar and an empty penutbutter jar
scrapping at the bottom as it keeps me busy
my hearts are screaming PICK UP THE BLADE! !
dont put it down because its the only happeness you will ever know
its hard to stop some times i give in and do it
the blood flowing from my wrist to my guitar
my tears mixing in
so maybe there is hapyness in
my self mutilation, my guitar
and at the end of an empty penutbutter jar

The Guitar Man(a duet)

Girl:
The notes carried by the wind,
Flew straight into my soul.
The 6 strings made of pure perfection.
Surrounded by a small crowd, but he was so alone.

I fell in love with the guitar man.
Fell heels over head, but he didn't turn around.
Accidentally in love, I should've turn around and ran.
But my feet few concrete and I couldn't move my ground.

Boy:
Her face kept coming around,
But I never caught her eye.
Tosses a quarter in the case.
Then she'd walk away.
But I knew I'd see her again.

I was the guitar man, I fell for a girl.
Saw her grin, with her eyes to the ground.
I wish she'd see me, smiling back at her.
I was speechless, so I'll sing her this song.

Girl: Everyday, he takes over my mind.
When the stars come out, he comes out into my dreams.
Boy: At night, she's a shooting star in the sky,
As I sit back on earth wondering if it will ever be.

Girl: I fell in love with the guitar man
Boy: (Oh I fell for her)
Girl: He didn't turn around
Boy: I saw her grin, but her eyes to the ground.
Girl: I'll never turn around and run
Boy: I wish she'd see my smiling.

(at the same time)
Girl: I sit back on earth, wondering if he'll think of me.
Boy: I sit back on earth, wondering if she'll think of me.

Strumming The Strings Of My Heart

I watch you play,
Making a beautiful tune
The strings of the guitar shaking
As you sit in the light of the moon

Your plucking the strings
With great ease
Making a flowing melody
A pretty song, just for me

I continue to watch
You playing your guitar
Making me love you
While your strumming the strings of my heart

These strings will never be touched
By anyone but you
You go where no one else can
Leaving a mark, like a tattoo,
Saying I LOVE YOU

The Guitar Player

He is just a child, a guitar player
and he hits the strings of his brown guitar quickly
in a lonely kind of song,
as if he is going into the world with it.
He plays for whoever is passing, for the night
where the birds and crickets are suddenly silent
when he picks at strings with a deep sweet kind of hurt
and his hurting music cuts through all things.
Sometimes he feels the cold, the winter wind
that wants to bring him back to reality
and he is being devoured by life
where the stars shine high above him
and he searches through pockets for a marijuana cigarette,
as the last pleasure that is left to him.

Louisa & Her Blue Guitar

A naked thigh has much to talk about
If its just approached right.
Just like girls who talk too much
In crowded barrooms like last night.
Just like our lisa, aint that right?
Conversations overheard,
Sacred silver dollars become petty change.
Suddenly red lipstick finds itself
On the wrong side of her age.
Just like our lisa, aint that strange?
And washed nylons bleed dirty tears
From a strangers window pane.
The red light cannot change the mood
Of the blue guitar thats played. blue guitar.
The sound of painted nails are playing.
Hi-ho silver, add another glass.
Good intentions can beat up sick attention
And louisa finishes last.
Oh goody, aint life a blast.
Hollow glance.
May I have this dance?
The faces been worn and thin
cause shes been wishing on too many stars again.
Washed nylons bleed dirty tears
>from a strangers window pane.
The red light cannot change the mood
Of the blue guitar thats played.
Blue guitar.
Blue guitar.
Get in the car.
