Out of the blue
Purple horizon
Consuming away the blues
On the plains of
Cold icy heart
Kindness kindling
Compassion still
Accommodates inside

Compassion
You want more, and still more,
Until you get more than you ever bargained for.
Now its plain, clear as rain,
Ive seen your symptoms many times before.
Lying on your bed of pain
What will you have now?
What are riches untold in a life without compassion?
For theres no winter as cold
As a life without compassion.
Theres no prescription thats sold
That can heal you like compassion.
Well you tried and you cried,
And let your disappointment make you hard inside.
You have doubt, you reach out,
Still youre the only one you care about.
Hiding in your sack of woe
What do you need now?
For there is nothing so sad
As a life without compassion.
And even love has turned bad,
It was love without compassion.
And you dont need what you had
cause you did not have compassion.
Dying on your bed of pain
What will you have now?
Youll get no judgment from me,
I can only feel compassion.
And if thats what you need,
I will give you my compassion.
Just dont forget about me
cause we all need some compassion.
Open up your heart
So you can start to feel compassion.
Get down on your knees,
Pray to heaven for compassion.
Everybody needs compassion.
If you want to be healed
Then you know you got to feel compassion.

Purple Heart
As I sit and wait
I can't rest my head
I light my fire
as I smoke another cigarette
your want everything
but you break apart
there's no compromise
inside your purple heart
inside your purple heart
iside your purple
inside your purple heart
I smoke another cigarette
inhale it into my lungs
yes it takes my life away
and then it turns around
oh

It's Over Now
The flame of love we had has finally died
Can't take this emptiness it left inside
It's over now
And though I played the role I lost my soul
It's still within your heart
It's over now
It's over now
Shades of blue and purple haunt me
The noise outside my window carries on
Like distant bugles love is very gone
It's over now
It took a part of me, the heart of me
To watch it fade away
It's over now
It's over now
Shades of blue and purple haunt me
Heaven
Heaven is far away
Angels no longer play
I need to take this fear and force it down
And just pretend that you are not around
It's over now
I'll put a Frank Sinatra album on
And cry my blues away
It's over now
It's over now
Shades of blue and purple haunt me

So Little Kindness
I cant believe it after so long
How can the memories really be gone
Now I dont deny its over
But why must you be so cold
I cant believe it
So little kindness
Yeah baby thats too bad
Saw you this evening out on the town
You went outta your way just to put me down
Now why got this chip on your sholder
When I dont even love you no more
I cant belive it
So little kindness
Baby its sad
cause we cont even talk about the little things
After this love we had
So little kindness
Baby thats too bad
So sad child child
Dont worry baby
Im not gonna stand in your way
Now that its gone
Our love is strong
No matter what you say
So little kindness
Youre so blind
That you cant even recognize a real thing
When it was yours and mine
So little kindness
After all this time
So little kindness
Baby its sad
Cause we cant even talk about anything
After what we once had
So little kindness
So little kindness
So little kindness
Im looking for some kindness
I need some kindness
Can I just have some kindness
Give me some kindness

Blues Of The Months
The blues of January,
The blues of February,
The blues of March,
The blues of April,
The blues of May,
The blues of June,
The blues of July,
The blues of August,
The blues of September,
The blues of October,
The blues of November,
The blues of December,
Meet me there if you can!
And like Glory-Land and Merry-land;
But my home will always accept in your sweet blues.

Sonnet- On Compassion
In Life, Compassion is what people want,
But seldom do they like with men to share;
Their hearts grow thick-skinned akin Elephant;
To render kindness to others, don't care.
To show a little bit of kindness, Oh,
Won't cost a dime or waste one's precious time;
With newer leaves, twigs -stronger is the bough;
Compassion- Virtue turns one's life sublime.
Yet, kind words cost no more than unkind ones;
A helping hand won't measure time or wealth;
One never knows when one in life has 'downs';
Compassion shown is good for body's health.
When one can show compassion to all beasts,
Why not to poor, down-trodden and diseased?

Desert Plains
Full moon is rising
The sky is black
I need your call Im coming back
The road is straight cast
Winds in my eyes
The engine roars between my thighs
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Wild mountain thunder
Echoes my quest
My body aches but Ill not rest
Quartz light to guide me
Till sunrise leads
My passion screams, my heart it bleeds
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Then in the distance
I see you stand
On the horizon you raise your hand
In burning rubber
I end my quest
You fall into my arms at last
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love

I still think the best metal bands have a blues feel. The first Black Sabbath album is kind of a bludgeoning of blues. Deep Purple also started out as a blues band.

Five hundredll buy you a stack. bet it on the red or the black and youll
Lose, bet on the blues.
You tell me youre a gambling man.
Try to beat the house if you can and you lose, bet on the blues.
If youre looking to get an inside slant,
If youre looking for something so good you cant refuse, bet on the blues.
Find a man who thinks hes over the hump,
Im here to tell you hes a kind of a chump you can use, bet on the blues, bet
On the blues.
Lucky old sun is shining today. even money says youll be paying some dues, bet
On the blues.
You say you found your lady fair.
Eight to five shes wearing her traveling shoes, bet on the blues.
Five hundredll buy you a stack. bet it on the red or the black and youll
Lose, bet on the blues.
You tell me youre a gambling man.
Try to beat the house if you can and you lose, bet on the blues.
If youre looking to get an inside slant,
If youre looking for something so good you cant refuse, bet on the blues, bet

Blues Man
Hey What chu tryin to do
Why you tryin to see through me baby
Its way too hazy
Hey Im still feelin the same
So dont go tryin to change me baby
You cant save me
So many people try to bring me down
They wouldnt last a second in my town
CHORUS
Hey Ive always been a blues man
Hey I little rhythm and blues man
Dont try walkin inside my shoes
Unless youre puttin up somethin to lose
I said Hey Ive always been a blues man
Hey a little rhythm and blues man
Dont try walkin inside my shoes tonight
You stem so far from the truth
You hide inside all your talkin papers
Flashin statements
You never put your money down
And watched a big wheel go around and take it
And in remake it
All you do is follow me around
Then you go ahead and ride it down
REPEAT CHORUS
Dont try walkin inside my shoes
Unless youre puttin up somethin to lose
I said dont try walkin inside my shoes baby baby
I said Hey Ive always been a blues man
Hey a little rhythm and blues man
Dont try walkin inside my shoes
Unless your puttin up somethin to lose
I said Hey Ive always been a blues man
Hey A little rhythm and blues man
Dont try walkin inside my shoes
Unless your unless your unless your
Hey Ive always been a blues man
Hey A little rhythm and blues man
Dont try walkin inside my shoes tonight

3 Three
A purple envelope
With a purple card inside
Fell out from the book
I took out from the shelf
Three purple flowers
Neatly pressed and glued
On the purple card
Smiled a weary smile
Slanted flowery letters
Flowing across the page...
'Throw open the curtains
Of the window of your heart
To let the sunshine dance
With the purple flowers...
Love you for ever.....!

Satellite Blues
She makes the place a jumpin'
The way she moves around
She like a rump and rollin'
That's when she get it out
And when she start a rockin'
She bring me to the boil
She like to give it out some
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
A picture clear for watchin'
The dish is runnin' hot
The box is set for pumpin'
She gonna take the lot
The way she get the butt in
She's gettin' set to ball
I like to chew it up some
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
Can't get nothin' on the dial
The frigin' thing gone wild
All I get's the dumbed down news
New satellite blues
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
I got the satellite blues (new satellite blues)
New satellite blues (new satellite blues)
This thing's nothing but a load of crap
I'm gonna send it right back
You can stick it where it hurts...

The Blues Come Around
Once I was happy as I could be but I let a gal make a fool of me
And ever since she let me down the blues come around when the sun comes down
Oh the blues come around oh the blues come around
Lard the blues come around every evenin' when the sun goes down
[ guitar ]
As the sun is in the sky those doggone blues never make me cry
But ever since she left this town the blues come around when the sun goes down
Oh the blues come around...
[ fiddle ]
I've built my castle very high and then she went and said goodbye
Ever since she poured 'em down the blues come around when the sun goes down
Oh the blues come around...
[ steel ]
Once she called me all her own but now she's gone and I'm alone
And every evenin' I'm sorrow bound
Cause the blues come around when the sun goes down
Oh the blues come around...
[ guitar ]
Oh the blues come around...

A Glassy Home For Us
Did you know my love?
I've built a home there inside my heart
Though I know my love
Never again you'll come
But the heart is lost in love
How can I tell him not to love,
How can I snatch out of my breast this poor heart of mine
For your love my heart beats
Than ill die
Tell me may you can heal the pain of my heart
Without you my life is alone
Tell me my love would you come once again home?
It has been centuries since you've gone I'm lost in love alone
If I've had the chance just to see your face again
Even though you're away
It would be enough believe me I swear
Since you've gone my love for you still the same, it never changed
The one who leaves and forgets about the love
It would not change or ease the love for the one who stays there alone broken in love
The lover heart cries there alone among the flames of love
You were always there In my dreams near the seaside I've built a glassy home for you and me
Beside the seaside surrounded with white desires
I've arranged our home like you would like it to be
I've bared it from the lies like paradise
And have hid you inside inside the home of my heart
So no one can see your eyes just me and my eyes
There in paradise
My eyes
Do you remember my love those days when we were crazy in love
How many times we've built a home with our purple desires
But the next day you've gone away for what and where I never knew for what and you've forgotten about our purple desire
But I'm still there yet the love never deserted my heart
Do you know my love I have you inside my heart
My. Purple dreams are still in love
Oh with those green charming eyes

Talkin Blues
Yeah! oh, yeah! now!
Cold ground was my bed last night (bed last night)
And rock was my pillow, too; (doo-oo-oo-oo-oo!)
Cold ground was my bed last night (bed last night)
And rock was my pillow, too. yeah!
Im saying: talkin blues (talkin blues),
Talkin blues (talkin blues);
They say your feet is just too big for your shoes. (shoe-oo-oo-oo-oo)
Talkin blues (talkin blues), talkin blues (talkin blues):
Your feet is just too big for your shoes. (shoe-oo-oo-oo-oo)
Yeah, Ive been down on the rock for so long, (so long)
I seem to wear a permanent screw; (screw-oo-oo-oo-oo)
Ive been down on the rock for so long, (so long)
I seem to wear a permanent screw. (screw-oo-oo-oo-oo)
But-a I - Im gonna stare in the sun,
Let the rays shine in my eyes.
I - Im a gonna take a just-a one step more
cause I feel like bombin a church -
Now - now that you know that the preacher is lyin.
So whos gonna stay at home
When - when the freedom fighters are fighting?
Talkin blues (talkin blues), talkin blues (talkin blues):
They say your feet is just too big for your shoes, woe-oh-oh-oh!
Talkin blues (talkin blues), keep on talkin blues (talkin blues);
They say - you hear what they say -
Didnt you hear?
Cold ground was my bed (bed last night),
Rockstone - rockstone - rockstone was my pillow;
Cold ground was my bed last night (bed last night),
And rock was my pillow, too.
Sayin: (talkin blues, talkin blues):
I seem to wear a permanent screw - permanent screw.
Talkin blues (talkin blues), talkin blues (talkin blues):
Feet is just too big for your shoes. (shoe-oo-oo-oo-oo) /fadeout/

Purple Rain
(prince)
I never meant to cause you any trouble
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only ever wanted to see you laughing
Only want to see you laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I never wanted to be your wicked lover
Only wanted to be some kind of friend
I could never leave you for another
Its such a shame our friendship had to end
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only wanted to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I know, I know, I know times are changing
This time we all reach out for something new
That means you too
You say youre looking for a leader,
But you cant seem to make up your mind
But you better open it up wide, let it guide you
To the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you, baby, in the purple rain

Kindness is the life's blood, the elixir of marriage. Kindness makes the difference between passion and caring. Kindness is tenderness. Kindness is love, but perhaps greater than love ... Kindness is good will. Kindness says, 'I want you to be happy.' Kindness comes very close to the benevolence of God.

City Boy Blues
Fireflies in dogfights
Runnin hot in the heat
Street noise, another bribe
Things too hard to believe--so head out
My hearts in the country
My feets in the city with you
All my friends are eatin sushi
Talkin bad about you know who-who-who
My tongues talkin riddles
But I just cant seem to find a clue
So I take a swig of whiskey
And jump into the saddle with you-you-you
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
Cats in the alley
Rats in my snakeskin boots
All my neighbors think Im crazy
And my girl thinks Im losin my cool-cool-cool
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
I got the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
Dont look to jesus to change your seasons
Its the american dream
Souls of gypsies, road of stone
Cant seem to find no peace--so head out
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
I got the blues, I got the blues, got the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
And I just cant seem to break the shackles of the city boy blues
I got the blues, I got the blues,
I got the blues, I got the blues
I got the blues, I got the blues,
I got the blues, I got the blues

If Purple Could Heal You
If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you
If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights
If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe
Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you
