O Valentine, my love, will you be mine,
Become my loving sweetheart that we may
Entwine like twisting vine or eglantine,
More closely grow together every day?
You ask me why I love you as I do,
Vain would it be were I to try to list
All thousand things that make you specially you:
Lips like twin lotus buds just made to kiss,
Eyes clear and still like pools in which I lose
No time but dive within to sink or swim,
To lose all sense of time and place. I choose
In tenderness to meet your every whim,
No matter what you wish I’ll gladly do
Except give up, or go, or be untrue.

A Coronal

WITH HIS SONGS AND HER DAYS TO HIS LADY AND TO LOVE

Violets and leaves of vine,
Into a frail, fair wreath
We gather and entwine:
A wreath for Love to wear,
Fragrant as his own breath,
To crown his brow divine,
All day till night is near.
Violets and leaves of vine

A Love Of Love Of Love

Well, honey it is January
And soon it will be February
I know what it reminds me
To remember you in Valentine's Day
And I know what is that day for
And I know what it is for
The love of love for all love
The love of love for sweetheart of
But we been sweetheart since then
My love for you ain't been forgotten
Though we have this strands of silver hair
Valentine's Day is nothing for me as I always care
And my love is always fresh like the morning
With our love still blending and refreshing
And refreshes my mind everyday
Not only on Valentine's Day

Valentine Wine

Darling Mine!
This is thine.
This is valentine wine.
Now drink and be mine,
Only for a day’s season.
But bury this in your mind:
Sweetheart, this night only we will dine.
With wine and in sin we will rhine.
Worry not my gullible mine,
Every valentine you will be mine.
Love that waits for valentine
to be renewed,
Will last only but a pint of lifetime;
And like a feeble mushroom
be erased by the dews.
Love then all the time,
Not minding the clime,
Show love to all that is of life,
For life without love is full of strife,
Darling mine, love every time,
Darling mine, love every moment,
For then will you
be forever mine.

Valentine's day came again but I am blue
No one there for me to say I love you
It's the day for lover's delight
Day to share flowers, poems, candy, all day and night
Daughter, wife, sweetheart, mother, love ones far and near

I miss Mother Mamoni, long ago she passed on
My love for her will never die, will rise with every dawn

Looking For My Valentine

I keep looking for my Valentine
I want to find someone just fine,
who will make me feel sublime.
I don’t want him to stand in line.

There’s a man out there I know
who will love only me head to toe
and won’t be too fast but go slow
with God’s Spirit we will flow.

Lord You know deep within me
that I’ve been saved and set free
that I’ll fall down on my knees
praying that he’ll come, please.

I keep looking for my Valentine.
Is there one that will be mine?
Who is tender, loving and kind
or have I been miserably blind?

There is a man that loves You
that only wants Your will too.
Is he out there someone new?

Though I don’t have
To give you a gold coin
But I have an open
Heart of mine

I would leave
