(Not) June
Days when the days that lay ahead promised affairs
With ultraviolet hues and calm seas and flip-flop pairs
Days when the optimist possibilities of May betided
And beacons of sun-rays gleefully glided
Days when rains promised rainbows afterwards
Then the breeze and the dahlias played hypnotic chords
Days when lips above bikinis and pink roses pouted alike
And shimmered bodies in shimmering water were easy strikes
Those days of the month called June.
But what days are these? They vouch that they belong to June!
They give me pains with gray azure that rains.
Afternoon affairs that have forgotten beaches-
and are confined to beds,
Peacoats cover fake tans and real bruises-
and stockings veil legs that spread
Shrunken lips can’t touch popsicles.
So cappuccinos and mochas are in rage,
Drunken souls have given up on the birds and the bees
As if inflicted with old age!
And just when my romance meant being chased across the horizon,
It means sipping bitter coffee, staring at the bleeding sky.
This June is as fake as my tan is.

Come Out From Your Shell
30 days has September!
April, June and November;
So, come out of your shell if you have the muse of love to share! !
Because, this poem is all about you;
And, all the rest of the months have 31 days!
Except, February alone which has 28 days,
But 29 days in a month for every leap year! ! !

Days
- Album: Reality
- Lyrics and music by David Bowie
Hold me tight
Keep me cool
Going mad
Don't know what to do
Do I need a friend?
Well I need one now
All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you
All I've done
I've done for me
All you gave
You gave for free
I gave nothing in return
And theres little left of me
All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you
With redeyed pain I'm knocking on your door again
My crazy brain in tangles pleading for your gentle voice
Those storms keep pounding through my faded heart
I'll play your sooth my sorry soul
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life

The Days to Remember
Do you remember the days?
The days of Cinderella wanting to go the ball
The days of the seven dwarfs
The days when you believed in it
I remember those days
The days you held your mother’s hand
The days when you wished on a star
The days you believed that wish would come true
Do you remember the days?
The days of jump rope
The days of secret hand shakes
The days you believed it was just so easy
I remember those days
The days when you would hide and they would seek
The days of spending all day playing ball
The days you thought it would never get hard
We all remember those days

1963 Looking Back
Memories let their June days fall apart
and leave behind the rains which rushed
rivers into torrents. Its just the sun we see
and the turn of the landscapes into harvest-tide fields.
Forgotten the tears, like the sudden storms.
Looking back finds only days when everyone’s Dad
was a war hero and cloudless flew the skies
with stories of the Spitfire – the circling Cessna
becoming a Lysander flown dangerously far
behind enemy lines; while at ground level
Airfix figures re-fought desert conflicts
across the shadows of children playing in the sand.
The spell breaks. A voice from a future the past
didn’t foresee refocuses the daydream into
the eyes of a child now grown – a daughter
in young adulthood stands among her words
- who will look back too, on June days
as if no rains ever came to take them away.

Oh Happy Days
Oh happy days,
Everyone likes you.
Oh happy days,
Please stay today.
Oh happy days,
Sweet like honey.
Oh happy days,
loving family ties.
Oh happy days,
Giving us strength.
Oh happy days,
Children out playing.
Oh happy days,
On the green grass.
Oh happy days,
With boundless optimism.
Oh happy days,
I give thanks.
Oh happy days,
Dreaming for more.
Oh happy days,
Warm and bright.
Oh happy days,
Like love eternal.
Oh happy days,
And glad memories.
Oh happy days,
New hope prayers.
Oh happy days,
With smiling faces.
Oh happy days,
Holidays and health.
Oh happy days,
With close friends.
Oh happy days,
Generous and giving.
Oh happy days,
Shiny rainbow dreams.
Oh happy days,
Till the very end.
Oh happy days,
Always and forever.
Amen.

Birghter Days
i look forward
to brighter days
with you,
more lights
to the darkness
of our souls, shades
of hues, and colors
of more rainbows
gentle rains music
of cicadas, soft
night winds and
cheers, and hugs,
and...kisses
brighter days
back to brighter days
on bleak presence
of folding sorrows.

30 Days Out
We fell in love and I made you the world
I spent all my time tryin to satisfy you, girl
Just one thing that I cant figure out [? ]
Closer I get, farther baby I am out [? ]
30 days, 30 days out
Well Im six days runnin but Im 30 days out
30 days, 30 days out
With every kiss you leave a little shadow of doubt
The roof was leakin honey where we live
And Im wonderin whats that something that you wont give
I started loving you but I gotta stop
You got me mostly waitin for that other shoe to drop
30 days, 30 days out
You keep me six days runnin but Im 30 days out
30 days, 30 days out
With every kiss you leave a little shadow of doubt
Tried to talk about whats goin on
You just smile and tell me baby there aint nothin wrong
In your smile theres a sign in red
It said thousand miles of hard road dead ahead
30 days, 30 days out
Yeah Im six days runnin but Im 30 days out
30 days, 30 days out
With every kiss you leave a little shadow of doubt
30 days, 30 days out
Well Im six days runnin but Im 30 days out
30 days, 30 days out
With every kiss you leave a little shadow of doubt

Ive Been Out Walking
This song appears on the album for everyman as these days with slightly different lyrics.
Ive been out walking
I dont do too much talking these days
These days
These days I seem to think a lot
About the things that I forgot to do
And all the times I had the chance to
I stopped my ramblin
I dont do too much gamblin these days
These days
These days I seem to think about
How all the changes came about my way
And I wonder if Ill see another highway
And I had a lover
I dont think Ill risk another these days
These days
And if I seem to be afraid
To live the life that I have made in song
Well its just cause Ive been losing so long
Well Ill stop my dreamin
I dont do too much schemin these days
These days
These days Ill sit on cornerstones
And count the time in quartertones to ten
Please dont confront me with my failures
I had not forgotten them

Day 1
Happy days!
Days of fun
Days of shine
Days of sun
Happy days!
Days I won
Days I earned
Today has just begun
Happy days!
Days I dread
To wake up
With a burning head
Happy days!
For which I wait
With furnished fear
And hollow hate.
The School Days are near!
Same shrieking morning alarms,
Same morning fear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
Sleeping in the bathroom,
From out, Mom shouts, '' DO YOU EVEN HEAR? ''
The school days are near, The school days are near!
So drowsy I am,
Confused, don't know what to wear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
And entered into the school,
Murmuring silently, '' Oh dear! Oh dear! ''
The school days are near, the school days are near!
And if the first period is Maths,
Not again those equations linear! !
The school days are near, the school days are near!
A look at the load of books,
From the corner of my eye drops a tear!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Gosh! When will vacations come?
We'll have to wait an year!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Hoping when we go,
We'll find joy, sheer!
The school days are near, The school days are near! ! : D

I Thought, I Think, I Know
Gone are the days,
When i thought love was a myth,
Gone are the days,
When i thought women are the same,
Gone are the days,
When i thought i wont find love again
Gone are the days, so so gone
Here are the days,
When i think love is a gift,
Here are the days
When i think you a blessing,
Here are the days,
When i think these are the days,
The days to love you more
Yet are the days,
To know i will love with doubt,
Yet are the days,
To know you are my wife,
Yet are the days, the days to love,
To care and protect

Summer Is Over
(tom springfield / clive westlake)
The night runs away with the day
The grass that was green is now hay
The world goes around without even a sound
And it looks like the summer is over
The rains tumble down in the sky
Young swallows have learned how to fly
The leaves that were green are no longer so green
And it looks like the summer is over
The sun and the moon take turns in the sky
The days drift on by too soon
The meadows are kissed by a cool autumn mist
Far away now is june
The birds fly away to the sun
The leaves touch the ground one by one
The breeze hurries by without even goodbye
And it looks like the summer is over
The sun and the moon take turns in the sky
The days drift on by too soon
The meadows are kissed by a cool autumn mist
Far away now is june
The birds fly away to the sun
The leaves touch the ground one by one
The breeze hurries by without even goodbye
And it looks like the summer is over
And it looks like the summer is over

Well Ive been out walking
I dont do that much talking these days

And I had a lover
Its so hard to risk another these days

The Dog Days Of Summer
June arrived just yesterday, or so it
seemed to be. All that's left is one
more day, then June is history. July
can hardly wait to get here, it's almost
at our door. The days will get much
hotter, then it was the month before.
Just as we're getting used to July, it
too, will be on it's way. Around the
corner lies August, which can make
you rue, the day. If you think July was
hot, August is the worst by far. It's hard
to escape it's sweltering heat, no matter
who you are. You can take a dip in the
ocean, if you enjoy having a steam bath.
The water will never be cold, as August,
unleashes it wrath. Here it is, the
wonderful days of summer. Even though
we look forward to it, it can also be quite
a bummer!

Do You Miss Those Days At School?
Oh, my school days were my
fun days
Last bench chatting
Under bench munching
Naughty pranks
silly fights
and the never ending talks
Great friends
childish trends
canteen junks
B'day treats
Those were the moments of my life!
Those yawned teachers
Their boring lectures
Those out stood classes
Lab gadgets,
Games periods
Oh, my school days were my
fun days.
Fake diseases
Easy way to bunk classes
Leave note written by friends
It was a big trend
and easy to pretend!
Books
resting in the dust
Teachers
Roaming like ghosts
and we enjoying our
Best!
Those days are like the
River that never bends
Wind that never faints and
Road that never ends..
Those days i enjoyed the value of
friendships
like a pond
glazing unblinkingly at the
blue sky
Today when i think of that days
I smile within my heart
and
I wish i would have never grown older
those funny memories are my companion
When days are long and tiring
my school days were my fun days!
Our school days are our
FUN DAYS
Those days are not to
FORGET
nor to
REGRET
To be a child forever
is every human's intent!

Those Were The Days
We Ain't Lovers No More
We Don't Laugh No More
We Don't Play No More
We Don't Make-Up No More
We Don't Kiss No More
We Don't Hug No More
You Don't Please Me No More
You Don't Touch No More
Give Me Chills No More
We Don't Go Out No More
We Don't Kick It No More
We Don't Dance No More
I Remember
Walking Through The Park
Just Shooting The Breeze
Kissing In The Shade
Those Were The Days
Lounging In The Den
Breakfast In the Bed
You Let Me Have My Way
Those Were The Days
If You Don't Want Me No More
Don't Come Round No More
Just Don't Call No More
Don't Come Knockin' Up At My Door
After Ten Or So
What You Knockin' For?
We Don't Kick It No More
You Ain't Cute No More
You Ain't Fly No More
You Ain't Got It Like That No More
See In Your Clothes You Don't
I Still Remember
Walking Through The Park
Just Shooting The Breeze
Kissing In The Shade
Those Were The Days
Lounging In The Den
Breakfast In the Bed
You Let Me Have My Way
Those Were The Days
Those Were The Days
Those Were The Days
I Said Those Were The Days
I Said Those Were The Days
Those Were The Days

Days of April
O, my days of April, I've pined for you so long
And waited to see your gardens return where they belong
O, my days of April, which find me with a fellow
Do you see my new smile outglowing daffodills yellow?
O, my days of April, you leave me sleepless in your splendor
You find me beneath the shaded trees in his arms tender
Marveling beneath the orange sunlight that covers the grassy hills
Feeling the blissful breeze travel where it wills
O, my days of April, his voice hums like your honey bees
It often sends my heart on happy little sprees
And as we swim through the land of lavender seas
I thank you for the days you bring such as these
O, my days of April, he smells like your fresh rain
That waters the mowed grass in the thirsty plains
His eyes shine like the diamonds you leave on the blades
I hold them to my memory to escape December days
O, my days of April, remember you'll live forevermore
Your cloudless days and golden rays always will knock at May's door
And your flowers will bloom so high they almost reach the gables
But remember us, remember us, my sweet days of April
