None Compare
I have been to Georgia and Seattle
And these places are fun
Cool weather and fancy fellows
Who glanced at me more than once
I’ve seen some pretty face and amazing places
But none compare to you
The way you looked, the breath you took
The way we had so much fun
I’ve heard great speakers, listened smooth music every day of the week
Learnt new concepts, practice new skills but none compare
None impacts me the way you do when “babes “ rolls off your lips

My Pretty One
Well, I've dreamed about today.
The same dream in many ways.
But I never thought I'd be here,
Be here with you, my pretty one.
Well, I've searched the whole world through.
To find someone whoooo,
Would make this dream come true.
It's you and only you, my pretty one.
Pretty one, I long to hold you.
Through the night, I want to hold you.
Pretty one, has no one told you,
I love you.
Any day and you will find me,
Full of joy when you're beside me.
In a moment like this,
Could it be what I've missed all my life.
Well, I've dreamed about today.
The same dream in sooooo many ways.
But nothing can compare with,
Compare with you, my pretty one.
Well, I love your smile.
And I love your eyes.
And the way you talk, makes me feel so nice.
Nothing can compare with the way you are.
And I need you now, as I write this song.
Did I hear you say you're the only woman,
From a lonely prayer I am in the air.
Well, I've dreamed about today.
The same dream in sooooo many ways.
But nothing can compare with,
Compare with you my pretty one.
But I never thought I'd be here,
Be here with you my pretty one.
Pretty one, I long to hold you.
Through the night, I want to hold you.
Pretty one has no one told you,
I love you.
Any day and you will find me,
Full of joy when you're beside me.
In a moment like this,
Could it be what I've missed all my life.
Well, I've dreamed about today.
The same dream in sooooo many ways.
But nothing can compare with,
Compare with you my pretty one.
No nothing can compare with,
Compare with you my pretty one.

Treat Myself
Theres a place I can go
When the tensions high and Im feeling low
In a falsh I can be in an another space
As a different me, have a new id.
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Theres no rich, theres no poor
Everything is love, no such word as war
Theres no black and no white
Rainbow colors they, dress the days and nights, lifes a paradise
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Its amazing how the mind
Can do what you want it to
It can take you to a time
Where youll want to stay forever
Feeling everlasting pleasure
If your lifes in a place
That you can hardly bare
Come along with me to mental ecstasy
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
(repeat)

Whatsoever things are pure

Whatsoever things are true (repeat)

My once upon a time, baby
Baby, I'll lead you somewhere better
Take my hand, and I'll take away the ghosts that scream in your head
I'll dress you up in pretty dresses, take out that priceless smile,
you look so fine
Massage your red raw knees
Wipe that frown off your angel face
I'll lead you to places so beautiful, not even mama dears bedtime stories can compare.
Be the Cinderella they never saw, but I gazed at all day.
I’ll be your prince charming if you say so, babe
Your mine, and I’m yours if you say so.
Just take my hand, and be my sleeping beauty as I awaken you from your nightmares,
With one smooth kiss…
We’ll begin our happily ever after……….

Sweet Georgia Brown
Verse:
She just got here yesterday,
Things are hot here, now, they say.
There's a big change in town,
Some great big changes.
Gals are jealous, there's no doubt,
Still the fellows rave about
Sweet Georgia Brown;
And ever since she came,
The local folks all claim: Say!
Chorus:
No gal made has got a shade on Sweet Georgia Brown-
Two left feet, but oh! so neat has Sweet Georgia Brown;
They all sigh and wanna' die for Sweet Georgia Brown-
I'll tell you just why,
You know I don't lie (not much)
It's been said she knocks 'em dead when she lands in town.
Since she came why, it's a shame how she cools 'em down.
Well, fellers she can't get
Are fellers she ain't met,
Georgia claimed her, Georgia named her
Sweet Georgia Brown.

Found
It's amazing.
The places we look for ourselves
Without finding;
And the places we find ourselves
Without looking.
So far away
From where I began;
And finally beginning
So far from where I am.
How could I have known
I'd be at the end of a poem;
Why would I have even thought to find
Myself, just outside of time.
Out there. At the far end
Of the pen,
In those old words
That never end.
It is amazing to think
A soul could so completely sink,
Into the depths of a word...
Yet to be spoken, yet to be heard.
But there it is.
There, where we all lie,
Gathered together in the conversation of Life's poetry...
Those ageless words
That never, ever shall die.

Meeting Challenges In New Places
loneliness, tears, change, new places
change, especially in new places,
is a time to think, reach out to others...
extend, the hand, of friendship, anew
to break, the ice stranger is up to you,
sincere people, will respond it’s true...
many face, endure, similar circumstances
many face, embrace vibrant new experiences,
attitude positive, negative impacts circumstances...

Shall I Compare Thee To A Summer's Day?
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
No. Summers in Africa are hot as hell:
Rough dusty winds our thatched huts shake
While heaven's bloodshot eye on boiling our brains concentrates;
That's the reason we are technologically Third rate.
Shall I then compare thee to a winter's day?
What is winter? Not in Africa have I heard of that;
Two ironic seasons do we have:
One hot as hell, the other
Wet as hell (like Noah's day) .
I shall thence leave the weather to the gods,
I shan't deal with the African weather, my love.
Thou art to me most precious
Than the rarest of precious metals.

Let's Compare Notes
Let's compare notes.
At one time you had said,
My comments provoked!
And you denounced,
Those words I spoke!
Let's compare notes.
Today you raise the same concerns.
And yet you say to others...
With the same words they have already heard.
But now you have a broader consciousness.
Let's compare notes!
What you say today,
Is 'intended' to provoke.
But you believe there should be an exception...
Since 'you' have been awakened from a deep sleep.

Sentiment
To be or not to be, there's no need to compare
What the life ment to be without love without care
Nothing can be more real as the fact you're not there
Since you've gone my heart is crving out there
It's so clear and I know that in love there's no fair
If I return back one by one to those places we were there
To ask them how they are and touch their soul's and ask them if they care
The places have sentiment more then a man, they do care
More than the one I used to call him my love no more is there
Where is the fair!

Aloof, Cool And Haughty
There are not too many places,
Where the showing of one's appreciation...
Is disregarded.
And instead of accepting one's positive comments,
About what it is they do,
People will think anything mentioned about that...
Is an act of patronizing.
AND...
It 'is' when giving another one's support.
HOWEVER,
In some places this is regarded as being...
Aloof, cool and haughty.
So what is one left to do to leave minds like this,
Left to eventually dismiss?
One becomes...
Aloof, cool and haughty to please expectations.
Like I said,
There are not too many places,
Where the showing of one's appreciation...
Is disregarded.
But...
Places like this do exist.

Nothing Anymore
When I once looked into your eyes,
I saw honesty lying there.
When I once looked into your eyes,
I saw loyalty with love and care.
When I once looked into your eyes,
I saw life and love forever more.
When I now look into your eyes,
I see darkness, and nothing anymore.
When I once held onto your hand,
I felt compassion, kindness and love.
When I once held onto your hand,
I felt the warmth from GOD above.
When I once held onto your hand,
I felt a joy from the person I adored.
When I now hold onto your hand,
I feel coldness, and nothing anymore.
When I use to listen to your voice,
I once heard it with vigor and excitement.
When I use to listen to your voice,
I once heard it with warmth and fulfillment.
When I use to listened to your voice,
I once heard it with truth which I swore.
When I now listen to your voice.
I go dumb, as I hear nothing anymore.
When I once looked upon your face,
I would always look with pride and a smile.
When I once looked upon your face,
I would always thank GOD your with me now
When I once looked upon your face,
I would always be there to open your door.
When I now look upon your face,
I go blind, as I see nothing anymore.
When I once kissed your lips,
I tasted myself and also your flavor.
When I once kissed your lips,
I tasted life as you were my savior.
When I once kissed your lips,
I tasted excitement and your love in store.
When I now think of kissing your lips,
I now bite them shut, I taste nothing anymore.

I wouldn't compare myself to any past Idol contestant, because I don't feel like I am like any of them. Maybe stories are cool but my story is different from most people's story. I don't like to compare myself to other people, I like to just be me.

For my beloved sister II...
Sister
Do I dare to compare your love
To the lighthouse engulfed in fog
Shining it’s beacon of light
That guides through stormy seas Sister
Do I dare to compare your love
To the soft whispers carried on a breeze
As it rustles through copper colored leaves
Words of encouragement
Sister
Do I dare to compare your love
To the snow capped mountains
Majestic peaks against a soft hue of blue
The epitome of strength
Sister
Do I dare to compare your love
To the vast meadows of wildflowers
A motley of colors put on display
Simplifying beauty
Sister
Do I dare to compare your love
To the endless skies overhead
And it’s never-ending exhibit of light and dark
Infinite

Do I dare to compare your love

Soul Dance
I will dance with you
It will be the dance of my soul
I will be open and honest
Show you my inner being
I will trust you
Take you to places in my soul that have been broken and restored
Places that cause pain and healing
Places that have hated and loved
Places I have forgotten and remembered
Places I have not visited in a long time and places I go every day
I will dance with you the dance of my soul
And feel your soul dance with mine to those same places in yours

I Don't Give Up On You Babes
i don't give up
on you beautiful Babes,
you're sweet and
adorable
you fight for me
and i am so
flattered
i don't surrender Babes,
i am into this
intercourse
two bodies
pushing and pulling
for some
meaning
searching and
pointing to places
of the heart
i like this way of
knowing Babes
touching you when
i close my eyes
and kissing you
when i feel so
alone inside my
room
Don't leave me Babes,
Don't make things too obvious
Do they think that you are unhappy?
That i am as lonely as a tunnel
where birds stop a while
and peck on a seed
and then leave me empty again?
Well, Babes, when do we meet again
Inside our crazy dreams?

Where Did Those Places Go?
We walked the lanes,
swam the lakes
and met together for lunch-time breaks.
We turned our eyes,
searched the skies
and parted sadly with goodbyes.
Where did those places go?
We danced the waltzes,
listened to Strauss.
We raised the kids.
Then they up and left our house.
Where did those places go?
We picked the clover.
When it was over
we wondered where did all those places go?
Time took them away.
One by one they slipped through our hands.
We could not make them stay.

Just but her beautiful face
Im looking at a cherubic expression,
Your eyes like two beams of light,
Penetrating to the hearts of all men,
They watch and wonder upon you,
Such great light they have not seen
It is just but your beautiful face
Your nose, the great art upon thee,
Nostrils like the caves of glory,
Leading to the uttermost places,
Places where all men long to be,
Your hairy like the faire of fine lambs,
Great camfort like the mat of a King,
All in the great chambers of your beauty,
Your skin soft like the dove,
Pure and so flawless,
All men long to caress and rub,
They look and wonder upon thee,
Its just but your beautiful face
My love your lips are so tempting,
The patterns like the rainbow in snow,
The glow like the rays of dawn,
The rare perfection so perculiar,
All men see and wonder upon thee
Its just but your beauty my love
Your hair so strong yet soft,
Very dry yet wet,
Like the grass of a winter morning,
Its waves so undefined,
Moved up by the wind of September,
They wonder and ponder upon you,
Its just but your beauty my love
Your teeth are white as snow,
Yet tasty as the early cream,
Bold and strong like the granite,
Take a look at my girlfriend,
Her lips have killed many,
Her teeth buried moreover,
Her tongue so rare but excellent,
When she opens her mouth,
The breath like the aroma of vanillia,
Her words sensible like of the wise
She is beautiful and I testify,
Its just but her beautiful face

A Love Fancy
Night was new-throned in heaven, and we did rove
Together in the cool and shadowless haze
That thickened round, at the wild stars to gaze
Ere yet the moon’s red rim had showed above
The pine-trees. For in both our souls did move
The same fond lover-fancy,—that their rays
Were richer for all those who from the ways
Of man’s long past had looked at them in love;
And when our glances through their midst did run
From orb to orb of all that seemed most fair,
To fix at last with mutual heed on one
That gloried in the West beyond compare,
It seemed to us that when the day was done,
The spirit of our joy was mansioned there
