No Need to Second Guess(response to comments on) 'A Scar Called Rape')

the answer to your comments
are right there in the seems
stitched up tight
hatred, fright, that night
fictional accounts
do not hold up right
the seems rip from lies
the right is not given in poetry
to fictionalize a true occurrence
a real moment in time
yes the rape happened
words of hate cannot describe
in such detail of my account
you say i hope
i hope it is false
but it is true
I'm am living proof
rape happens
we cant second guess people
their ability to inflict upon others
in the way rapist lead a victim
control them long after it is over
i am living the life of a survivor
it is not fiction
to make a story
about such an image
a scar of an occurrence
a fallacy called rape
it is not pleasure to read I'm sure
but we cannot compose ourselves
we cannot dream it be true
we do not think its possible
the sickness spread from fetish
controlling a woman
an innocent girl
fiction it is not
it happens
no need to second guess
we live in a rotten world

That's not rape

A man was convicted for rape even though he didn't commit that crime.
He'll be branded a rapist for the rest of his life and that's a long time.
When this man slept with a woman, he promised to wear a condom but he did not.
He didn't deserve a rape conviction but that's what he got.
Rape is making a person have sex by force.
Not by neglecting to wear a condom during intercourse.
I'll be the first to admit that what that man did was wrong.
And he probably does deserve his jail sentence that is long.
But he shouldn't be called a rapist, that's not fair.
Such injustices might not happen if people were more aware.

Remove the root.

Woman’s lure or man’s hunger,
Which is the cause for rape?
To bar rape from occurrence,
Ignore consensual sex and
Sanction prostitution

I can’t rape.

I can’t rape a woman;
I sing, draw and write about her.
I can’t rape a woman;
I devour her with my eyes, and voyeur.
I can’t rape a woman;
I see her dance, and romance in screens.
A sort of perversion;
Is there any animal who’s pervert?
I can’t rape a woman;
I bring her image in my fantasies.

Did You Really Rape A Woman?

Dark rewrite of Byran Adam's hit song, Have You Ever Loved A Woman?

Tell me, baby
Just what did you do to that woman
Did I misunderstand her
Or did you really tear her apart so deep inside
Is it all just her own sick thoughts
Is it all just a cold, cruel dream
Or is it true
Did you do what she said you did
Did you break her so bad that now all she wants is to die
Did you force her into lyin there
Helpless in your arms
I just have to know
Did you really, really
Did you really rape this woman

Have you ever raped a woman
She told me
Yes, you have and did
Took what you wanted
Against her will
Warned her to be quiet or you would kill everyone
Everyone that she cared about
Oh yes
She says
You threatened everybody
All because from her you never
Never got a second look
So tell me if you can
It's not true
Answer me when I query
Have you ever, ever really raped this woman

If you raped this woman
I must say
I'm really, really turned off
Can no longer stand to be in the same room with you
Gettin' sick just thinkin' about
How you must have touched her
Breathed into her
Tasted her
Until you brough forth the blood
And now for sure I can tell
For in your eyes are swimming those tell-tell lies
Whispering to me
You really did rape this woman

Because you raped this woman
I can no longer say
You are the dream that I wanted
No, no you are more like a nightmare neverending
'Cause I know if you'll do it to one
You will do it again to anybody
Maybe even me
And so now I know truthfully we can never be together
'Cause when I ask
Your cruel eyes and that expression on your face said it
You really, really did rape this woman

Oh-you've robbed me of my faith
Because you held her
Just a little too tight
Showed not even an ounce of tenderness
Got no idea at all
How to treat a woman right

Jerk
Somewhere you must have really went wrong
Believing no matter what you did
I would stand by you
Be there for you
Lie for you
Even after you did the unthinkable
Even after you raped this woman

Trapped her
Helpless in your too strong arms
Could't fight back
I saw the truth in your eyes
That's how I know
You really, really raped this woman

Repeat chorus

Yeah-now I know that you really
Really, really raped this woman
Oh-yes, you scumbag, I know
'Cause I saw the truth there in your lyin' blue eyes
You really, really did rape this woman

Pepe Le Pew raped my cat

(This fictional poem is based on the cartoon character.)

I called the police and reported a rape and they rushed to where I live at.
But they beat me with their sticks when I told them that the victim was a cat.
Somehow my cat got a long streak of paint on her fur.
When Pepe Le Pew finished, she sure as hell didn't pur.
I gave him a good kick and I got sprayed.
I cut off his balls, he has seen better days.
He treated my cat like a whore.
He won't rape cats anymore.

Fictional

everything i write comes back to me
like they are real
in flesh and blood and friends write
how come
how is it that we are there in your poems
when they are supposedly
some works of a writer
imaginary and fictional

i have no answer

i write about love and broken hearts
and another friend
emails if i am alright
is there anything she can do to help?

but i say again

this is not me this has nothing to do with me
this is fiction

and she does not believe me
she says,
there you are trying to lie again
when blood runs surging like some pulse
of a dying man wanting to be alive
in your poetry,

i have no answer

the poems are works of fiction
it is not me it is about him and her and them

she shrugs off her shoulders
and reads again about the old church where
she once knelt and prayed

there was this girl who fell in love
and whose heart was
beautifully torn to pieces

she says she is her
the poem is true

and there was this boy
who was with her praying
who, when he became a man
broke her heart

she says it is you it is you
the poem is true,

the poems are true
who will ever believe me now?

i have always lied all along
count it from the first poem
when i said about

it and i said it was
it is

all about nothing and
it will always be about nothing

but fiction, nothing personal, but it can be also painful and lingering.....

Why Me Only?

Rape here and rape there, rape is every where.
And country is become a big Mogul Harem, my fear;
Rape in the village, rape in the town:
Rape in sari, rape in gown:
India, secular, socialist and democratic:
But of late has become a rape republic.

Rape on an infant, rape on an old:
Rape of a student, rape of a tourist, told:
Rape by a friend, rape by an enemy:
Rape by majority, rape by minority;
Rape by the rich, rape by a poor ward:
Rape by forward, rape by backward.

A paid rape and a free rape,
A group rape and a compulsive rape,
All are socialist and secular,
In this perversion, hateful;
Daily it is breaking news,
Still there is no emotion to view.

I had survived, from among the dying,
The rapists reached to rape me, trying;
In my mother's wombs, unborn, I was a fetus;
No safe corners hide to shun the pain, tedious;
As I got a shape of a beautiful moor,
The dark sheep are there to maul my contour.

'This single act ends my own life, ' is one,
Where all the pains reside;
Crushed by the mis-fortune of some deadly sin-
Can't be washed by greatest win.
I lifted but hated my self here,
'There's no solace any where! '

"It is a dark spot, where all light spent,
All darkness! " cried I, Intent;
It hit me hard to graceless mutiny,
I was hideous, hopeless without scrutiny;
I sat, where night never ends;
Heaven's radiant show never lends.

If I Had the Answer Would I Still Ask the Question?

What does it mean to be raped?
Forcible entry –
Force of saying no
Force of saying yes to no
A stranger on the bus
The man you say “I love you” too
The brother, the father
The friend
What does it mean to be raped?
No charge, no tale, no proof.
No semen.
Old bruises, faded. Fading.
Rape – to scream, oh to scream.
Inside.
If it is your brother, father, friend
“Man” you love
Only inside
To say – RAPE –
I was raped
The shame – the guilt
Oh the guilt
What does it mean to be raped?
Once – twice – for a year?
The sisters…all their life.
How long?
How long can it last?
The anger, the lies.
Shame.
What does it mean to be raped?
To be fucked when you say no.
To be torn inside.
Screaming NO – HE –
Whispers I love you.
Carving Initials
Skin is crying
Tears are blood
What does it mean to be raped?
No proof – no rape?
No words for years
To say…rape.
Guilt
Anger
Violated
HATRED
What does it mean to be raped?

I Guess Living Is So True

In trying to get all the clues
What living might be about

I know a man who said
You had a good life
If there are many people smiling
When you first shed the tears of being born
And if there are many people crying
When you’re long dead gone
I forgot his name
But I believe this is
What living might be about
A cradle and funeral treasure

I guess living is so true
In trying to get all the clues
What living might be about

Tasting the feel of questions
The dough of answers dwelling in different thoughts
And a blissful moment
When you suddenly do not care about either
But simply live a moment of your own truth
With an absurd credo that everything will be ok
Cannot prove anyhting
But pure joy of the choice you’ve made
A cradle and funeral treasure

I guess living is so true
In trying to get all the clues
What living might be about

She killed herself today

She forever felt like she was dying.
The doctors kept on lying.
You will be fine.
Hoping their words would come true.
But for that girl sat in the chair.
She knew it would never come true.
She knew all to well life's unfair.
They all said she would be ok.
But that girl wasn't ok.
She took her life today.

Knowing he'd got away with rape.It was to much to take.
She wished she could remove the pent up pain like tape.
All along anger strayed her heart.
And thoughts and attempts of suicide strayed mind and soul.
But this time she knew what to do.
Take the tablets that destroy her stomach.
She was warned one more od could kill or couase serioud problems.
That girl listened and it hepled her through.
For the rape had destroyed her for the last time.
Here she is looking down.
She looks with a frown.
Vowing he will pay

In Response To 'I Like To Be Raped

When young and innocent
And someone as hurt you
Beyond anything you know
Or understand
You say is it ok to be raped?
Is it ok to be handled
In away because of what a man
Needed to do to you
I just don't understand why
Why would you as a victim think like that?

If he forced himself
With and you not knowing what he meant
It was rape
If he told you it was ok
What he was doing
Fondling you in intimate ways
It was rape
If he says you're only doing
What your mother dose
In ways were he makes you think
It's ok to do those kinds of things
Its rape
Men I have learnt only cater
To their needs
And those are the ones
That have no care what you feel
It's sad to think
That life can be so cruel
Especially to ones
Who think they are no good
I see a child
Confused and scared
One that needs to know
You are not alone

The Rape Of The World

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
How can we stand aside
And watch the rape of the wold
This the beginning of the end
This the most heinous of crimes
This the deadliest of sins
The greatest violation of all time
Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world
Youve seen her stripped mined
Youve heard of bombs exploded underground
You know the sun shines
Hotter than ever before
Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world
Some claim to have crowned her
A queen
With cities of concrete and steel
But there is no glory no honor
In what results
From the rape of the world
Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world
She has been clear-cut
She has been dumped on
She has been poisoned and beaten up
And we have been witness
To the rape of the world
Mother of us all
Place of our birth
How can we stand aside
And watch the rape of the world
If you look youll see it with your own eyes
If you listen you will hear her cries
If you care you will stand and testify
And stop the rape of the world
Stop the rape of the world
Mother of us all
Mother of us all
Mother of us all
Mother of us all

I Dream, Do You

Do you have dreams, Well I do
I dream of wonderful things
I dream of things yet to come
I dream of things some may say is dumb
I dream of love not just the word I mean real love
I dream of of a place where there is no war
I dream of a good answer to what we fight for
I dream of floating in the clouds free with no worry
I dream of a president who can just say sorry
I dream of reading a book thats begins with 'what is hate'
I dream of a country, thats completely great
I dream of life beyond the one we live today
I dream of a time when all kids do is learn and play
Ok time to wake up to reality
I was loving my dream now im mad at me for waking up
Life here in the real world can be so crazy
I guess the bigger part of me wishes I was stil a baby
Some of my dreams may come true
I know thats not true and so do you
But I will continue to believe my dream will come true
Because my dream was so wonderful, so I shared it with you

They Dont Break em Like They Used To

(roger brown/jason sellers)
Youre here in my arms right where you say you wanna be
While across the room I watch the one who set you free
It didnt take me long to mend the heart she tore in two
I guess they just dont break em like they used to
I bet she thought that wounded pride of yours would never heal
But you dont have one single scar as far as I can feel
And I see nothing but perfection when I look at you
I guess they just dont break em like they used to
They dont break em like they used to, darling thats for sure
Were living proof theres nothing that true love cant cure
We put the pieces back together now youre good as new
I guess they just dont break em like they used to
All the tears have disappeared without a trace
Makes me think that heartaches dont last as long these days
We put the pieces back together now youre good as new
I guess they just dont break em like they used to
They dont break em like they used to, darling thats for sure

Story

I love story.
Truly I do.
And always will.
Of the best of them
I shall not ever
Get my fill.
They are never read, told, shared or sung
In vain,
They create, live and give
An allegorical ardor to life and being
That in no other form
Can anyone find or explain.
Yet,
the fact remains,
for each persons story
'tis the same:
Wherever great fictional stories
Are shown or told,
New or old,
There is a moment of climax, fantasy,
Where the main character overcomes confrontation.
And from that moment on everything is good, o.k.,
Pure and perfect transformation.......

Real life is story too,
One big Story
Filled with every human's sub-story,
All just as real, and true.
With the full ability to be every bit as great,
Word for word,
As any fiction
Ever told and heard.
With one powerful and true exception:
In the story of our human reality
The conflict may lesson,
But never, here and now, does it ever cease.
In this life, no matter what else,
There just will not be
Perfect, never-ending beauty and peace.
It's a fantastic fable
That from a moment forward
Life can be happily ever after;
No such thing has God here promised.
Only upon Christ's return
Shall tears and pain completely give way
To joy, dancing, and laughter.
Death to evil's horrid beast,
Finally and fully finished
At the great and glorious wedding feast!

But, tis not yet so;
Tis futile to think
For anyone life is unfragile,
We are all so soon wind-swept,
Our time, place and position on earth
Is never ours to be savored and kept...
So the story goes on and on
To it's final chapter,
Where the great author alone
Writes in the wonderous finish:
'The Eternal Happily Ever After'.

Get Real

Oh pity us here we angels of lead
We're dead, we're sick hanging by thread
Get real
Get real
You can't stop meaningful teenage cries
From deep behind fifty year old eyes
Get real
Get real
CHORUS
I'm scared to touch
Too tense to be undone
I walk the streets
Not expecting morning sun
Against the voice of doom
Failures fall all over town
I guess I should, I feel I should
Get real
Get real
What's up?
What happened when I wasn't around?
Who did what?
What went down?
Get real
Get real
Think about myself it happens to me
It happens in the tunnel when I let myself feel
Get real
Get real
CHORUS
I feel it all through breakdowns falling all over town
I feel I should, I guess I should
Get real
Get real
Get real
Get real
The dazzle of light
The rape of life
The seed, the curse
The jazz of life
Get real
Get real
Get real
Get real

Holocaust Poem

I am a survivor of a holocaust
The horror of which
most people could not imagine.
I was brutally beaten and raped by an S.S officer
Then packed in a train
going to the gas chambers of Auschwitz
As if I was a sardine
Not a human being.
If my rapist was still alive
I would tell him
You violated my body
But you did not rape my soul.
Because I am a survivor
I refuse to give you the satisfaction
of fitting my heart
with a pace maker.
Life beckons for me
To truly live
To open the greatest gift
God gave us.
I will smell the sweetness of every blossom
And watch the sunset
Every evening.
Because I am a survivor.
I am a survivor
I am a survivor
I am a survivor.
I am not defined by the numbers
on my arm
I have the heart of a lion.
Because of the strength
God gave me
Hear me roar.

An American Prayer

I’m gonna kill, rape and plunder
cause I do what I’m told to do.
My government would never lie,
so I do what I’m told to do.

There are little, brown people
who want to hurt me and you;
so I kill, rape and plunder
and do what I’m told to do.

Well, I kill, rape and plunder
so the rich get what they’re due.
I shut my ears to the screams
of the children that I've slew.

Well, they’re just godless heathens
who don’t believe in good like me and you;
It’s alright to kill’em
before they kill me and you.

They hate us for our freedoms-
not because we bomb them night and day
or starve them into submission-
it’s our Christian duty that we slay.

And so I kill, rape and plunder
and do what I’m told to do
cause I’m a loyal American
and I do what God tells me to.
