Nightstars
Are so beautiful to me
Because
They warm
My heart
During the winter months

Seasons
What is a season, sometimes children ask,
Then to explain to them is not a hard task;
its four groups of months, divided equally,
Winter I like, It's the month so special to me.
First we take Summer, it's sometimes so very hot,
But; when you get to go swimming, it cools you a lot;
Eating Salads, and lovely cold drinks, and sweet too,
But; when it's in the 40's, I just don't know what to do.
Next we have Autumn, a beautiful season to check out,
The colors on each tree change, the wind blows the leaves about;
We know it's almost time, to get our warm clothes ready,
and when it's very windy, it's hard to stay on your feet steady.
Then comes Winter, out comes our warm clothes, and gear,
Our coats, gloves, and rain boots, are always left near;
Then it comes, the rain, Hail, sleet and icy snow,
Where you feel the winters blast, on each finger and toe.
So there is the seasons, each different from the other,
What is your favorite season, or do you prefer, not to bother?
In Melbourne Victoria, It's like all comes together,
Four seasons in a day, oh what strange yet beautiful weather.

Sunset In the Winter
The crisp smell of the woods is beautiful when it comes to winter. Snow across the the woods sitting there fresh and clean. when it comes to sunsets you know what i am talking about, a sunset in the winter is far more beautiful the in the spring, because in the winter you have some time to sit there and think. You are just there to see how beautiful a sunset is in the winter, My, my the beautiful things. When you hear the animals whistling in the woods you know what its like to see and feel a sunset in the winter.

While I relish our warm months, winter forms our character and brings out our best.
Oh unchanging tree
Such a beautiful thing Is a tree.
In summer, in winter, in spring, in fall
the beauty of a tree, doesn't change at all
The leaves fall to the ground
all the richest beautiful color
can be found
The snow falls
but it doesn't hurt the tree,
it just lays on it's branches
like frosting on a cake
Then it gets warm, the snow melts.
Say goodbye to to winter, say hello to sping.
New life is such a beautiful thing
But so is the tree, the beautiful mighty tree.
That stands alone as the seasons pass
as when you were old or just a lass.
A tree must have a heart, because when it falls to the ground.
No Joy can be found..
So when you see a tree say hello, they can get lonely you know.
Tell them a story, tell them a poem, they will listen.
This I know

Summer Days
Summer days are warm, and wonderfully long.
Deep down, within my heart, I feel a joyful song.
Gone are winter days, with their dowdy browns;
The trees and flowers now wear coloured crowns.
The natural world displays its bounteous beauty.
The soft, summer breeze is fragrant and fruity.
Bees, butterflies, and other bugs, now take flight.
Days of summer, feel so very cheerful and bright.
The days of winter can be so deeply depressing,
But now, their true selves, plants are expressing.
Suddenly, the world feels like a much better place,
And the happy smiles are evident on many a face.
The world, all about us, is given a golden glow,
Which illuminates Mother Nature's vibrant show.
Following the winter months: all dull and dreary;
We're treated to a display that's much more cheery.
Winter woodlands appear so very bland and bare,
But, come the summer, they look fabulous and fair.
Shafts of sunlight shine down through the tall trees;
The leaf laden branches rustle in the summer breeze.
Some secretly wish that summer could last forever;
That, all year round, we could enjoy warm weather.
Once summer is here, you hate for it to have to end;
You warm to it, as you would, to your dearest friend.

First Robin of Spring
Today heard a beautiful
sound, it was up in a tree,
sitting on a branch so alone,
spring is near by.
As my first robin to
see is looking down
on me, so peacefully,
robins are a sure sign,
warm weather is on its way,
a new start, new beginning,
beautiful sounds coming
from this beautiful robin.
Winter so cold, so long,
snow almost all gone,
spring flowers just
a stone throw away.
Dear robin you bring such
joy and comfort to my
heart listening to you,
your welcome here anytime.

A Winter Message
A flake of snow in flurry thro’ the air
Had landed as a kiss upon my cheek:
A secret message, just for me to share;
To take to heart but never dare to speak
About or presuppose to other eyes
Your open feelings – distant though they are.
And so, upon your lips, my OWN surprise:
A flake of snow returned from me afar.

Significance, winter, November, unfold, union, bay, seemly, sky
Significance, winter, November, unfold, union, bay, seemly, sky
Winter grey has set in
And its November 7th
The skies are too light to early
They are merely and extension of this grey
Upon my rising
The bay is grey the sky and its meeting are one
They are a union
Announcing
Significance
A statement of fullness
It is the linger of these many long months
As they unfold
First fall
Honoring us with its ways of
Offering difference, warm to cold days
Rain
Ice
Sleet
Then snow, then winter
Cold
Bitter brilliance
My afternoon drink is not a warm one
My wandering come with wearing sweaters
And scarves
I for the first time actually see the
Winter coming in over the gulf coast
Unlike in the years past where it was all
Seemly a summer vacation

Winter Must Be Cold With No Memories
Winter is a lonely season
if you have no one.
The snow lays on the ground,
white and pale as death.
You walk along any beach
see how deserted it can be.
Empty as a broken heart
living in loneliness.
For some winter
must be cold with no memories.
Something to lift the evening chill
to warm summer days
of two hearts entwined.
So winter can be cold
with no memories
of warm and happier times.

Worth This Winter
by Ahmed Nakib
And these buildings wearing out this winter’s heart –
each one has long stood like a colossal winter,
limbs of these lie frozen stiff in the fog, their
windowpanes as if chunks of ice – endlessly melting away.
Up on the roof of another, we watch out for all these –
that’s another boulder of winter, too. Overwhelmed,
we all are praising this winter’s loveliness,
with hands deep into pockets, clutching hard
at all of our warm clothes worth any winter.
Down, way down at the basements of these buildings,
people are rushing to the rhythm of insects,
the winter has skidded underneath their feet,
stuck in the ground, in every stride of theirs.
And these buildings wearing out this winter’s heart –
each one has long stood like a colossal winter.

Keep me warm
A winter day will sometimes bring me the
flu, but I always wait on the blazing sun that
rises every now and then in winter season,
warm sunshine, warm you are, every morning
you bring your life, your lucent light warm up my
fingers, my face my body, sometimes my nose I
can't feel, but you indulge my face and warm my
cold days, your risen in winter season is like
seen you giving birth to life, winter, winter wont
give me the blues, nor make my days gloomy,
there will always be you cheerful and bright,
my mornings you bring the gift of sunlit, a glint
of sunshine can make me feel blessed,
unalterable you are, sovereign, enigmatic
and brilliant to all beings.

Warm & Beautiful
A love so warm and beautiful
Stands when time itself is falling,
A love so warm and beautiful
Never fades away.
Love, faith and hope are beautiful
When your world is touched by sadness,
To each his own is wonderful,
Love will never die.
Sunlights morning glory
Tells the story of our love,
Moonlight on the water
Brings me in spiration ever after.
A love so warm and beautiful
Stands when time itself is calling,
A love so warm and beautiful
Never fades away,
Never fades away.

Beautiful We Are
Beautiful the night
but it does not compare
to the twinkle in your eyes
greater than the stars up high.
Beautiful your smile
it makes me warm inside
as I sit with you awhile
and stay here at your side
You know my love is true
it will be forevermore
my heart belongs to you
you're the one that I long for.
Beautiful the days
you show your heart to me
Beautiful the way
you set my spirit free
Beautiful the nights
I see your face in dreams
a cave so dark, you are the light
a diamond in coals you gleam
Beautiful we are, you and I together
it's written in the stars
that we could last forever.

Winter Symphony
Autumn colors have gone
Birds fled south with their song
Snowflakes cover the earth quietly
Night extends through the hours
Coolly lit by the stars
The pulse of life slows silently
Cuddle up in a cozy nook
With a warm drink and a book
Within a winter symphony
Somewhere children outside
Screamin down a daredevil slide
Rosy-cheeked bundles of cold-weather clothes
Hear the winter winds howl
Pierced by the hoot of an owl
Fingers of frost take a nip at my nose
Cuddle up in a cozy nook
With a warm drink and a book
Within a winter symphony
Winter symphony
Snowflake fantasy
Warms my heart like a tropic sea
There the sun always shines
There youll always be mine
All in a winter symphony

Warms my heart like a tropic sea
There the sun always shines
There youll always be mine
All in a winter symphony

A Winter Angel
Her long honey-gold curls rest in my hand,
The smokey-blue eyes look up for kindness.
Cheeks, a soft pink, make everyone gaze in awe!
Her numb fingers lightly touch my arm,
A warm glow of happiness and love flows through me.
I think of how beautiful she would be next winter,
My little cherry blossom makes the winter more joyful.
Now asleep in my arms, she dreams of color,
I will never let go of my winter angel.
Winter's Cold
As the Weather turns colder
the landscape changes colorfully
beautiful shades of greens to lovely fall colors
to the cold of gray and whites
leaves tumble from the branches above
the temperature dropping so fast
send chills down our spines
time to bundle up for a cold winter season
Snow and cold will be upon us, sooner than we want
each winter brings a new tale
either freezing temperatures on heavy snows, sometimes both
snow brings skiers, sledders, skaters, ice fishermen to life
snow forts to snowmen everywhere
the beautiful white landscape comes to life
the sun's rays reflecting off the crystal snow
like glitter tossed around
so breathe taking to see and to enjoy
bundled up inside drinking hot chocolate
waiting for summer to come
beautiful winter turn your cold off and send us our summer sooner.
I miss the summer heat and beautiful outdoors
old man winter does bring some joy,
but for most it brings cold and snow
time for stories around the fireplace with Mom and Dad
hot cocoa and homemade cookies
stay warm for winter will come and go
