Natural Evolution
Rain falls
No snow
Where is my Christmas
of years ago?
No snow to throw
No snow to eat
Only the rain
Puddles deep
Run through
Slash on feet
Why is the weather
in confusion?
Is it Global Warming
or Natural Evolution?

Song Of The Evergreens
Listen to the briskly whistling winter evergreen
Whispering through the frozen morning light
And tell me whats to come
Saying my time is near
Never fear
I close each year
Im winter
Reminding me to trade my t-shirts for my woven wools
Trade my sandals for my skis
Whispered warnings in the wind
Saying soon come the dancing snowflakes
Theyre kissing every tree
Theyre kissing you and me
Please hurry
Falling
Dazzling dancing diamonds from the sky
Prisms
Rainbow sparkled flurries in our eyes
Whipping across the frozen crystal meadow
Pond of ice
Race the snow
Well build a warming fire there
And cuddle close and wine and dine
The setting sun
The morning light will find us high
Shooting down the glistening mountain side
Screaming through the whispering pines
The freedom of each day
Will cleanse our minds
I can hardly wait for winter
I can hardly wait for the snow
I can hardly hardly wait for winter
I can hardly wait for the snow

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since weve no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Oh it doesnt show signs of stopping
And I bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home Ill be warm
Oh the fire is slowly dying
And my dear were still good-bying
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Let It Snow
Let it snow, let it snow
Hey, its another christmas holiday
Its a joyous thing let the angels sing
Cause were together
We got a thing cant let it slip away
No, outside its raining sleet
When our bodies meet
I dont care about the weather
Chorus:
Let it snow, let it snow
Outside its cold but the fires blazin
So baby let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Ohhhh, come over here and help me trim the tree
I wanna wrap you up baby
Then youll see youre the only present I need
Theres so much more
Waiting for you in store
From this precious day
I can gladly say
Theres no place Id rather be
I know you are my everything, come a little closer
God must have sent you down from heaven
Chorus
Let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow (repeat 4x)
I dont care what the weather may be
As long as youre here with me.

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! (feat. Kenny Loggins & Clint Black)
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
The fire is slowly dying

Ode On Snow
Snowstorms!
Piles of snow!
Soft, crystalline white snowflakes!
Feathered rain!
Powder snow!
Falling snow!
Up to the kneecaps snow!
Snow stuck on sidewalks and streets!
Snowballs!
Snowmen!
Snowdrift!
Sledding on soft snow!
Crunching snow!
Snow cones!

New York Winter
New York Winter
Upon seeing the weather on TV, I noticed in your area
Your weather outside is dreadful But here it's so delightful
So because you've no place to go, watch it snow, watch it snow, watch it snow
It doesn't show signs of quittin You know you're stuck there just a sittin
Guess you could let the lights go low
Save some electric and watch it snow, snow, snow
It's gonna be 72 here today Why'd anyone stay up your way?
You need to find another place to go
Where there isn't any snow, any snow, any snow
Come visit, we have room with a view
Something you'll see that is new
With grass that one doesn't have to mow
And there's no snow, there's no snow, there's no snow

Better Weather Here Than Somewhere Else
It's a Northern winter wonderland
Happy couples walking hand in hand
Department stores aglow with lights
Christmas trees always in sight
Snow falls down on New York City
Snow falls down on New York City
It's true that the place is lit up bright
And maybe the streets look amazing at night
And while the country can seem kind of plain
Alabama's got sunshine when New York's got rain
Frost on rooftops and gifts with bows
Teddy bears in shop windows
Santa in the mall with children on his lap
So much to do, so many presents to wrap
And snow falls down on New York City
Snow falls down on New York City
It's true that the place is lit up bright
And maybe the streets look amazing at night
And while the country can seem kind of plain
Alabama's got sunshine when New York's got rain
There's no white Christmas for Dixie this year
But we don't need snow to bring holiday cheer
Maybe we're simple but we still do our part
To keep Christmas a tradition that lives in the heart
So let the snow fall down on new York City
Just let it fall down on New York City
As The Snow Falls (song)
As the rain falls down,
It turns to snow.
As the snow falls down,
It hits the ground.
You look outside,
And it’s a sheet of white.
So you think,
Oh what a beautiful night.
The fire is warm,
And the coco too.
And you wonder,
What is next to do?
Looking outside,
All you see is white,
And stars in the sky…ayyy.
The stars are falling,
The stars are falling,
And they cover the ground.
The snow has fallen,
Snow has fallen,
And it covers the ground.
You sit there,
Lookin’ out your window,
Sippin’ on your coco. Oh
Watching as the rain falls down-
The snow falls down-
The stars fall down.
And you see,
All of natures beauty.
The rain falls down,
And it turns to snow.
The snow falls down,
And it hits the ground.
Lookin’ outside,
And it’s a sheet of white.
you bundle up,
and step outside.
standing in the cold,
you look around.
its all so calm and still.
Oh there’s not a single sound.
It’s a silent night,
Oh what a sight.
Snow covers the trees,
So beautiful to see.
Back inside you go
To the fire you stand,
With coco in hand.
You’re cozy and warm,
All alone.
It’s getting late,
So you sleep the night away.
As the rain fell down,
It turned to snow.
As the snow fell down,
It hit the ground.
And the sheet of white,
It disappeared.
The next day you wake,
And the beauty is gone.
The morning sun,
Thawed the lawn.
And the snowy wondrous night is done.

Michigan Roads
A blizzard has hit our Michigan roads!
Came in like a lion, throughout the night!
The weather men and woman, had predicted it!
Now our State is buried in, six inches deep, snow of white!
I guess this means, we'll have a real White Christmas?
And there will be some extra, snow days for all of our schools!
But for those procrastinating, last minute Christmas shoppers!
They had better get out their, snow removing kind of tools!
I love when the snow falls like this
deep and fluffy and of purest white!
It seems to make, all that darkness drab of winter
seem to be ok, and really out of sight!
So if you were intending, on driving into our great State
To visit the relatives or maybe ski and such!
Take some extra time to get here now!
Or maybe, just take a train, or maybe a Grey Hound bus?

In The Snow
in the snow i walk looking at everything coated in beautiful white
thoughts run through my head so many i cannot count
as i watch the snow fall i realize that its as beautiful as life itself
as i watch the snow fall i think of her and how i wish she could be beside me to see what i see just one last time
i cant help but wonder if she thought of me
in the snow there is something in the air i know i feel it so nice
there is something about the snow and the air that makes me think of you
as i get where i want to go
and step inside
snowflakes fall gentally off my hood
as i pound my feet the snow falls off and i become warm
the snow and ice that clazes me melts and falls
i know i will have to walk in the snow again

Winter Song
Rain and wind, and wind and rain.
Will the Summer come again?
Rain on houses, on the street,
Wetting all the people's feet,
Though they run with might and main.
Rain and wind, and wind and rain.
Snow and sleet, and sleet and snow.
Will the Winter never go?
What do beggar children do
With no fire to cuddle to,
P'raps with nowhere warm to go?
Snow and sleet, and sleet and snow.
Hail and ice, and ice and hail,
Water frozen in the pail.
See the robins, brown and red,
They are waiting to be fed.
Poor dears, battling in the gale!
Hail and ice, and ice and hail.

When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
I live in Hollywood
But it's not like in the movies
Where Christmas is always snowy white
On my list is just one wish
That it would snow tonight
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
You close your eyes
And to your surprise
You see the reindeer fly
As choir's singing
Fa la la la la
Go walking by
You're singing and a ringing right along
With the church bells in the air
It seems so real
That you can feel
The snowflakes in your hair
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
In the morning
When you awake
Your face all shining bright
And when you look outside
You see the palm trees
Dressed in white
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
Thank you
Thankyou for that perfect Christmas Day
Gliding down the streets of Hollywood
In a one horse open sleigh
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown

Easter Snow
Easter is a time
for change, sunshine,
but where's the sun
as I look out my,
window this easter
morning, what is this
I see, not more snow,
rain is ok, but
snow no, snow I
thought I had seen
the last of you,
but you just keep
coming, so white
is the ground as
snow flakes keep
falling and falling.
They say if it
rains easter sunday,
for seven sundays
we shall have rain.
Does this mean
that now for seven
sundays we shall have
snow falling on us?
Sun last few weeks
you have been so
kind to us, please
pay us a visit,
once again and
bring comfort to
these old bones of
mine once again.
They say we need
the moisture, so
rain wake up and
please fall on us, once again.

Snow
It falls out of the sky
and covers the ground
turning everything White.
Children love the snow
throwing snowballs at each other
and building snowmen.
But older people don't like it much
glad when it's gone they often say
staying indoors in the warm.
Christmas cards have snow scenes
Yuletide and snow go together
even though it rarely snows at Christmas.
Snow represents Winter time
and coats, hats, scarves, and gloves,
hot drinks and rosy cheeks.
Snow to some is just like Marmite
you either love it or hate it
personally I like them both!

Tennessee Christmas
Written by gary chapman and amy grant
Come on weather man give us a forecast snoowy white
Cant you hear the prayers of every childlike heart tonight
Rockies are callin, denver snow fallin
Somebody said its four feet deep, but it doesnt matter
Give me the laughter, Im gonna choose to keep
Another tender tennessee christmas, the only chirstmas for me
Where the love circles arounf us like th gifts around our tree
Well I know theres more snow up in colorado than my roof will ever see
But a tender tennessee christmas is the only christmas for me
Every now and then I get a wanderin urge to see
Maybe california, maybe tinsel towns for me
Theres a parade there, wed have it made there
Bring home a tan for new years eve
Sure sounds exciting, awfully inviting, still I think Im gonna keep
Another tender tennessee christmas, the onyl christmas for me
Where the love circles around us like the gifts around our tree
Well they say in l.a. its a warm holiday, its th only place to be
A tender tennessee christmas, is the only christmas for me
Well I know theres more snow up in colorado than my roof will ever see
But a tender tennessee christmas is the only christmas for me
A tender tennessee christmas is the only christmas for me
