Myriads of Angels Around
Myriads of angels around me each wondrous day
The God of Commerce is now with me alwasy to stay
The Lord, my Shepherd, makes me not 'lustfully' want
He leads me beside still-waters where goodness is taught
Creatively I'm inspired by Creator-God my dear Friend
The Captain of the Lord of Host delivered me to amend
He’s my Comforter, Counsellor-, and Mighty God supreme
I walk with Him~, in the depths of His 'Deep, ' serene
Myriads of angels~ do carry out God's every Word
People don't listen, but rebel, and think this absurd
But He’s the God of my Fathers, the Great Prince of PEACE
He cancels the false-destiny-god bringing brilliant release

Today... 'Christ the Lord
In David's town the promised Saviour came
Christ the Lord was His name
The Counsellor and Almighty God lay
A Babe in Bethlehem's cradle that day.
Angels in heaven his glory declare
Local shepherds came to worship Him there
Eastern wise men followed His natal star
And travelled to see Him from lands afar.
Words of Isaiah that prophet of old
Of His glory and virgin birth foretold
'To us a child is born Who is the Lord
Wonderful Counsellor and Mighty God'
This wondrous child of God in whom we see
The fullness of the Godhead bodily
Is none other than Jesus Christ the Lord

The Twenty-Third Psalm
My Shepherd is the Lord my God,--
There is no want I know;
His flock He leads in verdant meads,
Where tranquil waters flow.
He doth restore my fainting soul
With His divine caress,
And, when I stray, He points the way
To paths of righteousness.
Yea, though I walk the vale of death,
What evil shall I fear?
Thy staff and rod are mine, O God,
And Thou, my Shepherd, near!
Mine enemies behold the feast
Which my dear Lord hath spread;
And, lo! my cup He filleth up,
With oil anoints my head!
Goodness and mercy shall be mine
Unto my dying day;
Then will I bide at His dear side
Forever and for aye!

To Canaan
A PURITAN WAR SONG
WHERE are you going, soldiers,
With banner, gun, and sword?
We 're marching South to Canaan
To battle for the Lord
What Captain leads your armies
Along the rebel coasts?
The Mighty One of Israel,
His name is Lord of Hosts!
To Canaan, to Canaan
The Lord has led us forth,
To blow before the heathen walls
The trumpets of the North!
What flag is this you carry
Along the sea and shore?
The same our grandsires lifted up,--
The same our fathers bore
In many a battle's tempest
It shed the crimson rain,--
What God has woven in his loom
Let no man rend in twain!
To Canaan, to Canaan
The Lord has led us forth,
To plant upon the rebel towers
The banners of the North!
What troop is this that follows,
All armed with picks and spades?
These are the swarthy bondsmen,--
The iron-skin brigades!
They'll pile up Freedom's breastwork,
They 'LL scoop out rebels' graves;
Who then will be their owner
And march them off for slaves?
To Canaan, to Canaan
The Lord has led us forth,
To strike upon the captive's chain
The hammers of the North!
What song is this you're singing?
The same that Israel sung
When Moses led the mighty choir,
And Miriam's timbrel rung!
To Canaan! To Canaan!
The priests and maidens cried:
To Canaan! To Canaan!
The people's voice replied.
To Canaan, to Canaan
The Lord has led us forth,
To thunder through its adder dens
The anthems of the North.
When Canaan's hosts are scattered,
And all her walls lie flat,
What follows next in order?
The Lord will see to that
We'll break the tyrant's sceptre,--
We 'll build the people's throne,--
When half the world is Freedom's,
Then all the world's our own
To Canaan, to Canaan
The Lord has led us forth,
To sweep the rebel threshing-floors,
A whirlwind from the North.

Walk with Angels
Walk with Angels
I talk to Jesus
I walk with angels
They live through him
I believe
Believe in everlasting life
I believe a man should take a wife
I believe, what I was taught
When I did wrong
I did my best to never get caught
Still I talk to Jesus
He shows me all I need to see
When I can’t go on
I know he’ll carry me
I talk to Jesus
I believe
Believe in everlasting life
I walk with angels
They are part of the my everyday life
And I still believe a man should take a wife
I believe in the Bible stories people tell
The Farmer in the Dell
Fairies
And the wishing well
I talk to Jesus
About life’s angles
Tangles
I Thank the Lord
For all our angels

A Sunday Prayer 03
My dear Lord not so long ago, a matter of months to be exact, you sent me someone I barely knew. You used them as one of your angels to pick me up and help me in many ways. You wanted me to enjoy the talent again that you gave me, but I had neglected for so long. You also knew that my faith was also in decline. Therefore, in your wisdom you sent more angels to help me.
Now my precious Lord I want you to look after them the way you did me. I want you stretch out your hands. Smother them with your love and joy. Help them with their wounds some of them feel will never heal. I know the task is large and it covers this world of ours. Oh, Lord I need your help. Each day I try to do the best that I can. There are many souls in torment, which only you can reach. Please Lord, listen to my prayer today. Send your thousands of angels, like you sent them to me. I will do my best to help. Whenever I can, but for those I cannot help oh Lord. They need your helping hand.
Amen

Psalm 107
Those who wander far from God
And find no place to dwell
they begin to hunger and to thirst
As they approach the gates of hell
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
He satisfies the longing soul
He fills the hungry heart
He gives living water from above
And every soul a brand new start
Those who dwell in darkness
And refuse to hear their God
Their hearts are brought down very low
As they rebel against God's word
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
He has broken down the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron in two
The gates of hell shall not prevent
The Lord and what He has to do
Those who say there is no God
Are fools and are afflicted
Their sins will lead them near to death
Unless they are convicted
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
Gods children often times are caught
In storms that God did send
They discover that they need Gods help
As they come to their wits end
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
God hears the cries of those who call
He creates rivers in the barren place
But the proud mans voice is never heard
From them He turns His holy face

MY FRIEND AND HELPER, I SHALL NOT WANT

HE MAKETH ME TO LIE IN GREEN PASTURES
HE LEADETH ME BESIDE STILL WATERS
HE RESTORETH MY SOUL
{I SHALL NOT WANT...
HE LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME' SAKE

Genesis BK II
ll. 82-91) The citizens of heaven, the home of glory, dwelt
again in concord. Strife was at an end among the angels, discord
and dissension, when those warring spirits, shorn of light, were
hurled from heaven. Behind them stretching wide their mansions
lay, crowned with glory, prospering in grace in God's dominion, a
sunny, fruitful land, empty of dwellers, when the accursed
spirits reached their place of exile within Hell's prison-walls.
(ll. 92-102) Then our Lord took counsel in the thoughts of His
heart how He might people, with a better host, the great
creation, the native seats and gleaming mansions, high in heaven,
wherefrom these boastful foes had got them forth. Therefore with
mighty power Holy God ordained, beneath the arching heavens, that
earth and sky and the far-bounded sea should be established,
earth-creatures in the stead of those rebellious foes whom He had
cast from heaven.
(ll. 103-119) As yet was nought save shadows of darkness; the
spacious earth lay hidden, deep and dim, alien to God, unpeopled
and unused. Thereon the Steadfast King looked down and beheld
it, a place empty of joy. He saw dim chaos hanging in eternal
night, obscure beneath the heavens, desolate and dark, until this
world was fashioned by the word of the King of glory. Here first
with mighty power the Everlasting Lord, the Helm of all created
things, Almighty King, made earth and heaven, raised up the sky
and founded the spacious land. The earth was not yet green with
grass; the dark waves of the sea flowed over it, and midnight
darkness was upon it, far and wide.
(ll. 119-134) Then in radiant glory God's holy spirit moved upon
the waters with wondrous might. The Lord of angels, Giver of
life, bade light shine forth upon the spacious earth. Swiftly
was God's word fulfilled; holy light gleamed forth across the
waste at the Creator's bidding. Over the seas the Lord of
victory divided light from darkness, shadow from radiant light.
The Lord of life gave both a name. By the word of God the
gleaming light was first called day. And in the beginning of
creation was God well pleased. The first day saw the dark and
brooding shadows vanish throughout the spacious earth.
The Twenty-Third Psalms (Bible Poems for Children)
The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down,
in green pastures.
He leads me beside the
still waters.
He restores my soul,
He leads me in the paths
of rightenous, For his
namesake.
Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no
evil
For you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me,
You prepare a table before
me
in the presence of my
enemies.
You anoint my head with oil,
My cup overflows with
blessings.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow mw all the
days of my life,

The Greatest Gift
The greatest gift man has received, was from Heaven, and conceived,
In the very heart and mind of God, and delivered unto this earthly sod.
That gift to man was our Salvation, and given by God, to every nation,
That gift to all from our Creator, was Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
He is a Wonderful Counselor to us, who in The Savior place their trust,
Christ sends The Spirit to live inside, to be for us His Light and Guide,
In all problems, both big and small, Jesus assists us through them all,
A Wonderful Counselor in this life, is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born a babe, yet He is Mighty God, and will rule men with an Iron Rod,
Until then, our Lord rules in hearts, through His Spirit which He imparts,
To all believers now born Again, as He gives eternal life to mortal men,
And He’s in control of everything, as Sovereign Lord and Eternal King.
He is The Everlasting Father for all, saved by Christ, from Adam’s fall,
His everlasting arms comfort us, mere creatures formed from the dust,
Now brought into God’s own family, and one that shall last for eternity,
And now children of the Father above, secured forever by God’s Love.
He is The Coming Prince of Peace, with a Kingdom that will not cease,
And the peace He puts in our heart, during times of trial will not depart,
When you believe make no mistake, all believers, God will not forsake,
For when you come to faith in Him, you’re forever forgiven of your sin.
So come to The Counselor friend, for wonderful guidance, with no end,
Lead by Christ with staff and rod, for our Shepherd is The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father, for all those, who believe in The Lord who rose,
To be Prince of Peace in a millennium, and into an eternity yet to come.

Psalm 23
God our shepherd.
My Shepherd is the living Lord;
Now shall my wants be well supplied;
His providence and holy word
Become my safety and my guide.
In pastures where salvation grows
He makes me feed, he makes me rest;
There living water gently flows,
And all the food's divinely blest.
My wand'ring feet his ways mistake,
But he restores my soul to peace,
And leads me, for his mercy's sake,
In the fair paths of righteousness.
Though I walk through the gloomy vale
Where death and all its terrors are,
My heart and hope shall never fail,
For God my Shepherd's with me there.
Amidst the darkness and the deeps
Thou art my comfort, thou my stay;
Thy staff supports my feeble steps,
Thy rod directs my doubtful way.
The sons of earth, and sons of hell,
Gaze at thy goodness, and repine
To see my table spread so well
With living bread and cheerful wine.
[How I rejoice when on my head
Thy Spirit condescends to rest!
'Tis a divine anointing, shed
Like oil of gladness at a feast.
Surely the mercies of the Lord
Attend his household all their days;
There will I dwell to hear his word,
To seek his face, and sing his praise.

A Beggar's Prayer
Precious Lord;
I have much to ask,
and you have much to do;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I know my place is humble,
and you are the King of Kings;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I'm certain that I am unworthy,
of your mercy and saving grace;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I walk the road that I choose,
and stumble most of the time;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I want to walk your path,
and help others along the way;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I ask for your guidance,
in setting my feet back straight;
But Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for I know not what to do.
I turn to you O Lord,
with open arms and bleeding heart;
Because Lord,
I need your Mighty strength...
for You alone know what to do.

The Servant
here i am LORD, a servant in your hand
please help me LORD, to make me understand.
my heart is crying out to you
with all my aches and pains
will it continue, will i ever be the same.
i feel your presence all around, and i know
that there are angels to be found.
but when i'm feeling lonely
and full of despair, will my angels be there
to wipe away my fears?
we are all your children, and like a child
i have to feel the warmth of your embrace
to look into your eyes, and see your smiling face.
HE SAID: i will always love and protect you
and never turn you away
for you are in my heart, and forever you will stay.
i am the one who gave you life
and there's a journey that you must take.
there are hungry children and many lives are at stake.
but this is a decision- that in your heart you must make.
there will be dangers, and many mountains
that you must climb.
spreading the word of the gospel
and you have'nt got much time.
people are not only hungry for food to eat
or even water to bathe their feet.
they are looking for hope.
and i have chosen you.
will you help me? the choice is up to you.
here i was thinking of myself, and what i was going through.
with so much suffering, i knew what i had to do.
i gathered myself up, and looked up to the sky, and said:
i don't even have part of your strength
but i will surely try, i will spread
your word, and that there is no lie.
here i am LORD, a servant in your hand
and i will spread your word LORD
the only way i can.
your teachings are in my poetry
for you have inspired me
this is how i could spread your word
it's the only way i see.
SO NOW I ASK ALL OF YOU.
IF YOU WAS IN MY SHOES
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Psalm 107 part 2
Correction for sin, and release by prayer.
From age to age exalt his name;
God and his grace are still the same;
He fills the hungry soul with food,
And feeds the poor with every good.
But if their hearts rebel and rise
Against the God that rules the skies;
If they reject his heav'nly word,
And slight the counsels of the Lord
He'll bring their spirits to the ground,
And no deliv'rer shall be found;
Laden with grief, they waste their breath
In darkness and the shades of death.
Then to the Lord they raise their cries;
He makes the dawning light arise,
And scatters all that dismal shade
That hung so heavy round their head.
He cuts the bars of brass in two,
And lets the smiling pris'ners through;
Takes off the load of guilt and grief,
And gives the lab'ring soul relief.
O may the sons of men record
The wondrous goodness of the Lord
How great his works! how kind his ways!
Let every tongue pronounce his praise.

Genesis BK III
(ll. 135-143) The day departed, hasting over the dwellings of
earth. And after the gleaming light the Lord, our maker, thrust
on the first of evenings. Murky gloom pressed hard upon the
heels of day; God called it night. Our Lord sundered them, one
from the other; and ever since they follow out the will of God to
do it on the earth.
(ll. 143-153) Then came a second day, light after darkness. And
the Lord of life ordained a pleasant firmament amid the waters.
Our Lord sundered the seas and established the heavens. By His
word the King, Almighty God, raised them above the earth. The
waters were divided under the heavens by His holy might; the
waters were sundered from the waters, under the firmament.
(ll. 154-168) Then came hasting over the earth the third fair
morning. Not yet were the wide ways and spacious tracts useful
unto God, but the land lay covered by the deep. The Lord of
angels, by His word, commanded that the waters come together,
which now beneath the heavens hold their course and place
ordained. Then suddenly, wide-stretching under heaven, lay the
sea, as God gave bidding. The great deep was sundered from the
land. The Warden of life, the Lord of hosts, beheld the dry
ground far outspread. And the King of glory called it earth.
For the ocean-billows and the wide-flung sea He set a lawful path
and lettered them....
((LACUNA -- two to three leaves missing))
A Daily Prayer
Dear Lord watch over us in all our days,
lead us through the rocky roads
that we encounter in our lives.
Carry us when the roads become too much to bare.
Lead us to a more fruitful life
away the one that almost destroyed us.
Dear Lord help us cross the raging waters
that threaten to drown us in its murky depths.
Dear Lord, do this for us and we will always follow thee.
Amen.

A Carol
This gospel sang the angels bright:
Lord Jhesu shall be born this night;
Born not in house nor yet in hall,
Wrapped not in purple nor in pall,
Rocked not in silver, neither gold;
This word the angels sang of old;
Nor christened with white wine nor red;
This word of old the angels said
Of Him which holdeth in His hand
The strong sea and green land.
This thrice and four times happy night—
These tidings sang the angels bright—
Forlorn, betwixen ear and horn,
A babe shall Jhesu Lord be born,
A weeping babe in all the cold;—
This word the angels sang of old—
And wisps of hay shall be his bed;
This word of old the angels said
Of Him which keepeth in His hand
The strong sea and green land.
O babe and Lord, Thou Jhesu bright,—
Let all and some now sing this night—
Betwixt our sorrow and our sin,
Be thou new-born our hearts within;
New-born, dear babe and little King,
So letten some and all men sing—
To wipe for us our tears away!
This night so letten all men say
Of Him which spake, and lo! they be—
The green land and strong sea.

The Lord Has A Will
I need you lord; in all I do.
Youre always there to see me through.
I cant get by unless I lean on you, lord.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
Your love, lord, is in my heart.
You wrote it there; it wont depart.
It lights my way and keeps me out of the dark.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
I thank you, lord, your word is sown
Into my life, and there its grown;
Its roots go deep where living waters are known.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.

The lord of Catchers-Can
In the isles of a gutter
in the dim-lit graveyard of a church
a man must walk forever
with a beggars bowl in hand
and succumb to all the weather
a man can understand.
(The lord of Catchers-Can
Is both a shepherd and a man
from a palm of dust he fathers the waters of the land.
And hails the wheat and barley to fall or stand…)
Into these storm drains of heaven
a dream was washed away
like the rains of yesterday.
A holy man sojourning for a little while came
and then was gone!
Where no earthly vanities belong…
And blessed us in one name!
In the light of the eternal flame!
All sinners the same!
(The lord of Catchers-Can
Is both a shepherd and a man
from a palm of dust he fathers the waters of the land.
And hails the wheat and barley to fall or stand…)
It’s here I’ve heard it said
We pay for the eyes of the dead
In the living hearts and souls left
To do our living, to do our living when were dead!
So take my hand,
And-let-us-all-understand,
The ways of the lord are yours and mine to command,
For every child, women or a man!
The lord of Catchers-Can
Is both a shepherd and a man
from a palm of dust he fathers the waters of the land.
And hails the wheat and barley to fall and stand…)
