My Style
MY STYLE
Melvin banggollay
I know each poet have the skill
and have that burning passion
to write what each one really feel
with the charm of serene moon.
Well for me, my style is simple
as there is beauty in simplicity;
I'll make sure that every temple
of words I weaved has beauty.
I basically used
S-imple words of shorter length
M-ethaphor, simili and irony
I-ngenuity of my own style
L-ogic and imagination
E-xpressive emotions
S-imple rhyme and rhythm

Style
Style must not be underrated
Style is often overlooked
Style is never in the papers
I read it like an open book
Style
If you cant see the substance
Style shows how its organized
Style is looking for your money
Its in the way you paint your eyes
There is always a way
A way things are done
Ive been learning my abcs
I know what is 10, I know what is 1 in
Style is a naked look
Underneath your style
Style of a different place
Talking through your style
Even the way you hide it
Reveals the thing you hide
Your style may never cause a riot
Its still a style to have no style
There is always a way
To light up a lamp
Its been a crazy year all around
The check never came
I cant let it cramp my
Style is a world for sale
You cant buy this style
Style that you cant resist
You wont cramp my style

You're Beauty's Magic
YOU'RE BEAUTY'S MAGIC
Melvin Banggollay
Your beauty has the magic
That can heal even the sick
With a charm than can warm
and keep me away from harm.
Your smile has the fragrance
of a rose even from a distance
With an aroma that can enchant
anyone that desires to glance.
You do have an angelic face
Wearing sweet smiles that erase
boredom of anyone that gaze
Your beauty that truly amaze.

For Karin Anderson
Karin is what I call
the metaphor queen
she writes her poems with them
and it makes them gleam.
In every style, she writes
the rhythm is just precise
and the beauty in her words
always shines bright
from this Australian rose.
I don’t know what style
you might call this poem
only that it was written with care
in a way of thanks
to another poet whom I call a friend
for her works that I enjoy.

A Poem Does Not Have to Rhyme
There are those who think in order for a poem to have rhythm it must rhyme, but a poem does not have to rhyme to have rhythm.
The rhythm comes for the poet’s soul not the rhyming of words.
The rhythm is in emotions that the poet’s poem evokes.
From a soulful cry to feeling of love and from the passion of hate to the awakening of understanding this is the beat, the rhythm of a poem. Now don’t get me wrong if a poem rhyme and has soul it is cool too, but I just wanted everyone to know that a poem does not have to rhyme.
Poet Of The Heaven
POET OF THE HEAVEN
Melvin Banggollay
What a wonderful poem you have written
With words that sprung from the heaven,
You truly have deep faith to the only Begotten.
For this, you shall be healed and forgiven
and be enlightened to sing in heaven.
You are, for me a poet of the heaven
Gifted with words of faith that enlighten
Troubled souls like me once forsaken
by cheating hearts of beautiful women
But with thy pen, I can find a new maiden.

Romance In The City
ROMANCE IN THE CITY
Melvin Banggollay
you got an amazing beauty
so lovely and truly enchanting
that captured me to desire thee
with passion now wildly burning.
Call me if ever you feel lonely
And I'll come like a lightning
and without rest I will love thee
with magical touch so enticing.
Truly its cold there in Baguio City
And you need a romantic darling
That can turn you wild and happy
with a romance so enduring.
I'll promise I'll be gentle to thee
As I'll sip you with my romancing
and you'll never regret with me
For I'll love thee without fading.

Share A Smile Everyday
SHARE A SMILE EVERYDAY
Melvin Banggollay
What a joyful day we had everyday
If we share a smile to everybody
With just a wink of our eye's melody
to greet somebody without hypocrisy's
with sweet smile of friendship' beauty.
A smile that speaks more than words
that can display one's heart's worth
Without even just uttering a single word
but have already spoken more than
the swaying rhythm of the soul of a man.
Share your smile to anyone everyday
with tenderness to heal pains away
for a sweet smile is a true therapy
that radiates magic potion and beauty
that can inspire a soul to be happy.
Even sometimes life's full of trouble
of bellowing river waving out of order
Smile for it gives your heart the power
To soar and fly like a golden eagle
with vigor and zest to make life better.

After Testing In a Marketed Ghetto
Style to address.
Style to impress,
Style.
Style to originate.
Update and/or replace.
To modify what has been done.
Refreshing an existence for everyone.
Whether or not,
It may irritate some.
While others may imitate it.
Style is what it takes,
To shape and remake to satisfy...
The taste of those who claim they know what it is!
After testing in a marketed ghetto.

BURN ME WITH YOUR PASSION

Burn me with your passion
Let your touch take me
To that burning dungeon
Where I loved to hear
sweetness of your moan
As you grin without fear
with softness of your own
that took me to the realm
of your love and potion
Oh! ! ! that made me to scream
with ecstasy's delusion.

Ringtone Of My Heart
RINGTONE OF MY HEART
Melvin Banggollay
Ringtone of my heart
has rhythm of thy name
downloaded from smart
from the time you came
smiling with sweetest art
while you talk so tamed
as we danced so smart
In that night full of fame
until we have to depart
after your birthday's game.
From that time I'ved seen
Your beauty so serene
My heart keeps on ringing
In silent mode vibrating
Even I really tried to divert
It's beating keep it alert
To beepl love deep inside
No matter how I tried to hide
and erase it from the start
But my love never depart.
I tried to change the setting
But still it keep on ringing;
Security code so truly locked
That only your love can unlock.
Send me then even in text
your reply that can truly reflect
the passion of your heart
to re-charge my broken heart.

A style does not go out of style as long as it adapts itself to its period. When there is an incompatibility between the style and a certain state of mind, it is never the style that triumphs.

Lunch With a Poet
I had lunch with a poet, just the other day.
A poet who has written fine and lofty verse,
Conveying his experiences, emotions and his ideas, in
Vivid, imaginative ways, condensed in simple language,
Choosing words for sound and power,
Rather than impressing readers with poetic adulterations.
Almost apologetically, he said he uses 'nickel words'
To write his inner thoughts. It was as if he were at fault,
As though he thought those simple sounds
Had lessened the intent of his poetic worth.
I emphasized how wrong he was, and tried
To make clear, a poet writes in sympathy with his reader,
Overleaping the barriers of understanding by the simplicity
Of his language, and of his words.
To write with words of misty meaning does not make
A mystic.
To write with vulgar words does not lift up the poem
On wings of song, it only floats as high as the poet's
Commonality who, mistaking flatulence for inspiration, becomes
Enmeshed in a literary byproduct of the foulest of excretion and Smells.
My friend failed to intellectually understand,
But spiritually Accepts, as his writings reveal,
That clarity of thought and mind is the poet's
Highest point of the poet's integrity.

If You Are a Poet
If you are a poet it means so much
as others souls you often touch.
Your own soul you cruelly cut
petting the others with your blood.
To be a poet means to sing of beauty
and it’s the main poet’s duty.
Rhyming the words to tell the truth
and it has to be quite smooth.
To be a poet means to burn with passion,
to treat the others grief with a compassion,
to love the others as yourself,
to hear the voice of kind elf.
To be a poet means to dream,
to tell the world a touching theme,
to speak sincerely and frankly
but not just rhyming poems blankly.
Rhyming words is not the main,
there’s no need to strain your brain.
If your heart has nothing to tell
rhymed words will look like hell.
To be a poet means to write
as if your blood gushes from vein,
to write the rhythm of living breath,
the rhythm of life that seethe.

Where words can be translated into equivalent words, the style of an original can be closely followed; but no translation which aims at being written in normal English can reproduce the style of Aristotle.

My Beauty
There’s are days when you just wanna feel like a beauty in everyone’s eyes. But there’s always a butt head to make you feel less then you are I believe if you think or know you are then you are. It’s only what you make of it. There are times when I don’t feel beauty at but I think of what I always told myself. “My beauty is not just a pretty face. The beauty I have is a brand new sent of peace. My beauty is lovely peace sense of laughing out loud. My beauty is like an oak wooden chair that my daddyand I love to sit and think in. My beauty is a graceful smile I give her everyday.
My beauty I have is a great sense of style that I have to show the world. My beauty is my fragrant smell of lavender on my skin and hair. Beauty that I want is a 5 star hotel that someday I will stay in when I’m famous. Beauty is my toned color of the skin on my body. My beauty slowly surely of love i feel for you.
Beauty is my sleek smooth skin of my true beauty is deep within me. Now I know the sign of beauty I was bless with.

Song Of A Rhyming Man
I love the sound of rhyming words like Dan will rhyme with Ann
And I could never be a poet just call me rhyming man
This modern verse too much for me it's way above my head
Though modern poets are now the rage and Rhyme is with the dead.
I love the sound of rhyming words, I love the verse that rhyme
To blank or free or non rhyme verse prefer it every time
And there's many who will disagree and most will say I'm wrong
But give me ballad or rhyme verse or good old rhyming song.
You may say I am limited and with you most will agree
That I'm not into modern verse of twenty first century
But I've been an old style rhyming man since nineteen seventy three
And I am in my sixties now and there's no changing me.
I love the sound of rhyming words like Dan will rhyme with Ann
And I could never be a poet just call me rhyming man
And I am guilty of no sin and I can't see no crime
In liking sound of rhyming verse and loving words that rhyme

Ucassi
Your muse,
For it all;
My muse,
For it all;
And like Ucassi your neighbour!
But, i am ready to share my sweet love with you.
Her own style,
My own style,
Your own style,
His own style,
Our own styles,
With the cloud, the rain and the storm! !
But, do not give up on your dreams.
