My Right! ! ! !
I am sitting here with the news turned up loud
Knowing we are there to help, makes me proud
I know so many just don't understand
If YOU had no freedom
If YOU had no say
How would you feel?
What could you do?
Without help, NOTHING!
I miss my husband
I miss his touch
But I am proud of what he does
I am proud of whom he is
You may have the right to protest
And you may not like this war
But no one has the right to tell my husband his rights should be ignored
His right to be proud
His right to be a patriot
His right to be a soldier
They say HE is wrong, that just isn't true
My husband could fight and die
For my right to speak
For my right to cry
For my right to feel this pain
For my right to be angry
For my right to feel the way I do
Your rights are not given by the grace of GOD
They are given by the blood of patriots
They are given with the lives of loved ones
Remember when you are out there slamming our own military
They are out there fighting and dying for your right to hate them

Im So Proud
Youre prettier than all the world
And Im so proud, Im so proud, Im so proud of you
cause youre only one fellows girl
Im so proud, Im so proud, Im so proud of you
Im so proud of being loved by you
And it would hurt, hurt to know,
If you ever were untrue, yeah
Sweeter than the taste of a cherry so sweet
Yeah, and Im so proud, Im so proud,

Compliments to you from all the people we meet
Yes babe and Im so proud, Im so proud,

Proud To Be Loud
Listen up good
I got a lot to say
I know what I want
And I get my own way
I call em as I see em
I dont play by the book
One dose of volume
Thats all it took
Ive seen it, Ive done it
Ive heard it before
Now its my turn
To settle the score
Ill sing it, Ill shout it
Ill say it again
I dont care if they
Never give in cause im
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
You know Im proud
Proud to be loud
Well Ive alway believed
In freedom of speech
And Ive always been the one
Who practiced what I preached
Love it or leave it
Ill give you the choice
But itll snow in hell
Before I lower my voice
I live it, I breathe it
I gotta have more
Its full blast
And this means war
The power, the glory
Its callin my name
I wont start to
Play their game cause im
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
Im proud to be loud
And Ill never
Turn it down again no!!
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
Im proud,
Proud to be loud

A Husband...
A husband should be
Loyal and honest
A husband should be
Strong and protective
A husband should be
Loving and romantic
A husband should be
Patient and understanding
A husband should know
When enough is enough
A husband should know
When to fight and when to cry
A husband should know
all your goals and dreams
A husband should know
your strengths and well as your weaknesses
A husband needs to be a true man
A husband needs to love you unconditionally
A husband needs to know your heart is forever his

Who That Soldier Is
Thats somebody's little boy out there
Getting shot at on the field
Thats somebody's baby
In more pain than anyone should feel
Thats somebody's daddy
Out there in the middle of the fight
Thats somebody's parent
Who will never get to kiss his daughter goodnight
Thats somebody's lover
Who will never get to tell her he loves her again
Thats somebody's husband
Her protector and her best friend
Thats a mother's son
Thats her pride and joy
Thats a father's favorite companion
Thats his little boy
And the soldier you see in the casket
Was very proud of what he was fighting for
But he'll never see his parents, wife or daughter again
Because he died protecting our country in the war

Proud American Soldier
Proud American Soldier
(God bless and keep safe our fighting men and women in harm’s way)
I fought beside my brothers, as they died on foreign shores,
I’m proud to say, we fought and slay, our enemies by the scores.
One by one, we fought and won, wars down through the ages,
The history books are written with our blood stains on the pages.
Our skin is many colors, we are women and we’re men,
We stand up to injustices no matter where or when.
I’m a Proud American Soldier, my job’s to keep us free,
I ply my timeless trade so far away, across the sea.
When others cringe and cower, you’ll find us standing tall,
We’ll remain steadfast until the last, of the evil tip and fall.
Come what may, get in our way, we’ll never cut and run,
We’ll stay our course, with no remorse and it ain’t always fun.
We’re the sailors that go out to sea, we’re the pilots in the sky,
We’re the grunts out in the fox holes, and we all know that men die.
I’m a Proud American Soldier, my job’s to keeps free,
I ply my timeless trade so far away, across the sea.
They spoke kindly of my enemies, the same day that I died,
Then burned my flag in protest, as my widow watched and cried.
But don’t you worry much my friends, nor shed a tear for me,
There’s more where I come from, to fight and keep you free.
Freedom isn’t free dear friends, we foot the bill in blood.
We die in the desert sand and in the jungle’s mud.
I’m a Proud American Soldier, my jobs to keep us free,
I ply my timeless trade so far away across the sea.
I may be just a soldier, but that’s just fine by me.

Super Woman
She is very strong, does not complain about anything
she makes mistake, but still moving forward
Her husband is so proud of her
She takes responsibility husband home or not.
She did do all the paper works and gave her husband to sign.
She do everything, by herself. Everything
Super woman, who is like her?
She is every woman, wonder woman.
You know when you see her.

Be Not Proud
Oh Death be not proud,
Oh Grave be not shallow
For out reaching your darkened hand
And refusing a boy, to become a man.
Oh grave I feel your sting
And Death I hear you sing
From the lives that you do take
From the lives, to you we gave.
Oh grave, be not proud
For taking the little child
For refusing them yet to grow,
Unto the Adults, they'll never know.
Death be not proud
For arriving as a thief
To break the heart and shatter the soul
To only fill it, with your grief.
Death be not proud
Grave be not victorious
Pain be not loud
Sorrow, be not continuous.

What enthralls you.......
What enthralls you to be proud?
Is that shouting more or speaking loud?
Let my words and appreciation speak
No other thoughts simply sneak
What best can make you feel?
Is that you keep moving wheel?
Does your work make chest to expand?
More and more public demand
I feel proud for not being self
Has not come without your help
As a poor, you never distanced,
Kept me near despite instanced
It was your gracious act
Was a reason clear and fact
It was not a simple tact
You always laughed and didn’t react
You did not move but remain among
Journey was hard and very very long
Never uttered a word simply to confuse
Poured energy only to infuse
Such a wonderful soul to feel proud
Whose steps make my spirit sound?
Fame and name gather round
Proud to be your friend and move around

You With Your Airs And Graces
You with your airs and graces you do feel so proud
And you like to be seen to stand out in the crowd
And you even feel that others should bow to you
You've got a swollen ego to give you your due.
You tell everybody who wishes for to hear
of your daughter the uni professor and your son the engineer
But your husband a black sheep or so 'twould appear
Since he is a flawed person who enjoys his beer.
You with your airs and graces you do like to brag
You are known in the Town as a leading windbag
Your ego is swimming in your self conceit
Though one or two like you live on every street.
With everyone who cares to listen you like to impress
Them with your grand stories of your childrens success
But your husband you never once mention his name
He gets drunk off and on that seems human but in that you feel shame.

The Seahorse
The seahorse doesn’t do divorce:
It picks a spouse for life.
The wife’s the husband and, perforce,
The husband is the wife.
A husband, feeling rightly proud
(As husbands are, of course) ,
Will say of her who’s well endowed:
‘My wife’s hung like a horse.’

I Am Not Proud Of My Country
I love my Homeland Country and of it's scenic sights I sing
But I don't say I am proud to be Irish as proud has a patriotic ring
And those who feel proud of their Country often go that step too far
As pride leads to patriotism and patriotism leads to war.
I have never waved my Country's flag at parade or football game
And I am not Proud of my country though I love it just the same
For pride and love are different as different as can be
And pride that leads to patriotism has never appealed to me.
Some people on flag post in their front yard fly their Country's flag
And I am proud of my Country you hear them proudly brag
But others worthiness and cultures they never could embrace
And without saying so they are telling you that ours is a superior race.
I am proud of my Country you will never hear me say
Though many feel that pride and patriotism are good and quite okay
But how many young men have died in wars due to patriotic pride
Love brings people together whilst pride and patriotism divide.
I have never been a soldier or had honours to my name
And I am not Proud of my Country though I love it just the same
And those who feel proud of their Country can take that step too far
For pride leads to patriotism and patriotism can lead to war.

My Greatest Aunt
I'm so blessed
To have an aunt like you
Who is kind and always there
Whenever I feel depressed
And long for a real friend.
Knowing you're here for me,
Thank you for the endless love.
But the truth is, I feel sad
'Cause you're far away to me now.
You know how much I miss you,
Care for you, and love you.
Although I'm sad,
I never feel bad.
Just as long as you're safe now,
I'll be happy for you.
I'm certain,
God will guide you all the while
And through the years to come
For you are, a wonderful person.
Even your newest friends in town
Will stand tall, as they're proud.
They've found a true treasure
in their lives, that's a friend!
Although you miss your children
Please, worry no more
'Cause you raise them well
To become better people.
For this, I can say that
I'm your greatest fan
And you're my greatest aunt.

A Letter from the Sand 'Be Proud
Today I received a letter from the sand. It read Dear Sir, we regret to inform you that your brother Sgt. Andre Smith was killed two days ago in Iraq, but be proud he died a hero. Now I must read that letters a hundred times but pride never came over me but anger did. Anger that got me asking questions like is proud of what, that my big brother is no longer here? Or should I be proud that they turned my caring brother into murder all under the false flag of freedom? Be proud, I am proud and I was always proud not because Andre died as hero but I am proud because he was my brother.
Note:
This poem is not a true story. Now although my brother Andre did past away he did not die that way, but I wanted to honor him so I used his name in a poem the relates to current affairs
Novocaine
When I was ten, fell out of bed
Got three stitches in my head
It hurt like hell
I saw the blood, I felt the pain
I'd like to feel it once again
'Cause I don't feel it
Then I got stung, right on the face
I screamed and ran around the place
It hurt like hell
I swelled right up, I burned for days
I'd like to feel it once again
Cause when you touch me
When you hold me
When you kiss me
I don't feel anything
When you touch me
When you hold me
When you kiss me
It's just like Novocaine
I remember every cut and scrape
I've been numb so long
Something's wrong
So I'll take anything
I slap my face, I pull my hair
Just to see if something's there
It should hurt like hell
I miss the pinch, I miss the pain
That shock sensation in my brain
Cause when you touch me
When you hold me
When you kiss me
I don't feel anything
When you touch me
When you hold me
When you kiss me
I don't feel anything
When you touch me (When you touch me)
When you hold me (When you hold me)
When you kiss me
I don't feel it
When you touch me (When you touch me)
When you hold me (When you hold me)
When you kiss me
It's just like Novocaine
I don't feel anything
I don't feel it
I don't feel it
I don't feel it
Well, I don't feel it
No, I don't feel it
I don't feel it

Hand Me Down
Whatever I know too much
You wont be anyone
Now tell me what you are thinking of
How could think youd be enough
Its not that youve stayed too long
Its not that youve done something wrong
Its not your fault
But you embarrass yourself
Hand me down
Its better when youre not around
You feel good
And you look like you should
But you will never make us proud
Youve been used by a army of cues
Youve been touched by the lips of a queen
Now weve all made good use of you
But you wont be needed again
So dont you move and let someone else in
Make some room for a new harlequin
Its never enough
So dont disappoint us again
Hand me down
Its better when youre not around
You feel good
And you look like you should
But you wont ever make us proud
Hand me down
Its better when youre not around
You feel good
And you look like you should
But you could never make us proud
Hand me down
So look at you with your worn out shoes
Livin proof evolutions through
Were stuck with you
This revolutions due
Hand me down
Its better when youre not around
You feel good
And you look like you should
But you could never make us proud
Hand me down
Its better when youre not around
You feel good
And you look like you should
But you wont ever make us proud

A Friend Of Mine
With her i would share a bottle of wine
She who loves Nature is a friend of mine
She knows the name of each species of tree
Into the soul of Nature she can see.
A friend of mine i feel proud for to say
People like her i don't meet every day
She knows the species of bird by it's song
On matters of Nature she never is wrong.
She led the protest and defied the law
To save the old growth trees from the one with the chain saw
She went to prison for to her what was right
For to save Nature's beauty she is prepared for to fight.
To her i feel glad for to drink a toast
And of her achievements i feel proud to boast
You won't find many as noble as she
Those who love Nature are good friends to me.

One Day I'll Make You Proud, Dad......! ! ! ! !
Dad, I'm flunked,
said me.....
Son, never worry,
I'm happy you tried.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm ditched,
said me, wailing.....
Son, never weep,
I'm happy someone made you realise the pain.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm expeled,
said me, embarrassed of copying in finals......
son, never shame of mistakes,
I'm happy you admit the wrongdoing......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm sloshed,
said me, apologizing for being like that.....
Son, I'll help you to bed,
I'm happy you learned to apologize.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm paid,
said me, surrendering first salary....
Son, It's yours, keep it safe,
I'm happy you earned them legitimately.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm in love,
said me, shivering in fear.....
Son, choose the best, you deserve best,
I'm happy you don't miss mommy's love anymore......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm married,
said me, Kneeling for his blessings....
Son, blessings always on you since your birth,
I'm happy I dont have to sleep with you anymore......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, eventually I'm a dad,
exclaimed me, an infant in my hands.....
Son, I'm old, cant talk more,
I'm happy You're a perfect man.... He coughed....
ONE DAY HE'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, SON...! ! ! ! ! !
AS YOU MADE ME PROUD.....

Miss You
i miss you,
the more that days pass,
brings to reality,
that you are no longer here,
no longer have a mother,
to teach me more about life,
no, i'm stuck here,
finding a little bit of you in ppl,
and it makes me miss you more,
i hate not talking to you,
everyday i am lost,
but i remember what you wanted of me,
and it reminds me,
to just keep fighting,
only i can make my dreams come true,
you given me everything i needed,
plus more,
why am i so afraid to live a life,
where you are no longer in?
feel so alone,
but i look for god for support,
and i remember who i am,
and how you will still be watching over me,
with knowing that,
i don't feel so alone.
