My Retreat
In the Lord I find my comfort
He is just, He is true, He is holy
The Lord is who gives me all
He gives me patience, He gives me love
He gives me pain, He gives me my discomfort.
My all in all, He who gives all
Can also take all.
All in all God is love.
Love is in everything-
God is in everything, living or not
God was in the attempts that have failed
God was in each breathe you inhaled
God was in not only what did fail but also what prevailed
God is where I go when I rejoice
God is who speaks for those without voice
God is in each decision and each choice
God will bring laughter to your face
God will forever be in this place (my retreat)
God will always hold me in a loving embrace
God is in you and me
And I am sure you'd agree
That God is in, a guarantee

No Father?
At times I feel so hurt because i got wounded so deeply.
I know You are there for me, Father my peace and comfort.
I turn towards you murmuring the word 'Father' and slowly.
I look towards you and pour out my pain and the much hurt
Even though I do not have a loving father to this day
I have You who is my true caring Father who loves me fully
When I am hurting, seeing other children happy today
due to the fact they have a loving father who loves them wholly.
I am so hurt, looking at my friends who have such a great live.
I am not enving them, all I want is to be happy and to be loved.
but then I see You turning towards me, You show me so much love
Lord You comfort me like a true father would, I feel so loved
Like a ray of sunshine I sense Your gentle kind fatherly comfort
I pray to you Father when I am in misery, pain or when happy
I realise I have You my true Father so I am free no more hurt.
I pray to you Lord, day and night so that I am no more weary.
When I am sad I slowly cry out to You in a desperate voice of mine
I call onto to You saying these words, 'Father, Father, Father'
I do like calling You father because I get the joy, oh so divine.
I love You so deeply My true compationate Heavenly Father.
When I pray I say, 'Father My provider, Father My God'
My whole prayer are full of the words 'Father'.......father, father
I am thankful that You gave me Your truly fatherly love Lord.
I love you so much even though I have no loving father.
I do not know why I refer to my God as 'Father' not Lord or God
but I find this peace and satifaction when I do call You father
I love my Heavenly Father so much, oh how you give joy, oh God
I somehow find comfort when call on You, You are my only loving father
Oh how Jesus loves me...............How I love Him

Lovers Prayer
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Just wanna be with my love tonight
I dont want no jive artists calling me on the telephone
Dont wanna watch the carson show all alone
I just wanna lay back, take my rest
With the one I loves head resting on my chest
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Just wanna be with my love tonight
And I dont want my best friends even coming round
cos if they do I might put em down
Carsons over and the lights way down low
And all I got, I got a heart full of soul
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
I said, lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
I said, lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Just wanna be with my love tonight
And its a lovers prayer, oh yes it is
Takes a little time, takes a little care, yeah, yeah, yeah
And when it gets way on in the midnight hour
I just wanna play my guitar
I just wanna see you smile, touch your face
Be with you in my own place
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
I said, lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Lord, lord, lord, lord, lord
Just wanna be with my love tonight
Just wanna be with my love tonight
Just wanna be with my love tonight

Holy Is The Lord
Holy is your name, in all the earth I worship you
Holy is your name, in all the earth I come to you
Holy is your name, in all the earth I sing to you
Holy, Holy, Holy is your name
Holy are you Lord, I come before your throne and bow
Holy are you Lord, I come into your presence now
Holy are you Lord I listen to the angels sing
Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord
Holy are you Lord, my heart it leaps within my chest
Holy are you Lord, Its in your arms I find my rest
Holy are you Lord, the saints around the world they sing
Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord
Now listen to the saints, they sing Holy are you Lord
Now listen to them cry to you, Holy are you Lord
There is a cry around the world, they lift their voice and sing
Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord
I come before your throne to sing, Holy is your name
I come before your throne to sing, I'll never be the same
Pour our out your fire of love on me, this is what I sing
Holy, Holy, to the risen King

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!
From God our heavenly Father
A blessed angel came;
And unto certain shepherds
Brought tiding of the same;
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!
--- Instrumental ---
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
Doth bring redeeming grace
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!...

My Prayer Sestina
Some serve the Lord
Some serve the Devil
Those who embrace God, embrace Love
Those who embrace Lucifer, embrace Hate
Satan wants to conquer and Divide
God wants to bring us all Together
Bring us Together
Dear Lord
Stop the Divide
And smite the Devil
With his unholy Hate
Teach us to better Love
We will Love
To be Together
And end Hate
Dear Lord
Banish the Devil
And end the Divide
"Conquer and Divide"
Not Love
Demands the Devil
Bring us Together
My Lord
And end all Hate
Lucifer loves Hate
And wants to Divide
Us Oh, Lord
Through your Love
Bring us Together
To defeat the Devil
Only the Devil
Can bring Hate
Of us Together
To Divide
Us from your Love
Dear Lord
The Devil tries to Divide
Turn his Hate to Your Love
And bring us Together as one, Dear Lord

I Just Cant Stop Loving You
Written and composed by michael jackson.
I just want to lay next to you for awhile
You look so beautiful tonight
Your eyes are so lovely
Your mouth is so sweet
A lot of people misunderstand me
Thats because they dont
Know me at all
I just want to touch you
And hold you
I need you
God I need you
I love you so much
[michael]
Each time the wind blows
I hear your voice so
I call your name . . .
Whispers at morning
Our love is dawning
Heavens glad you came . . .
You know how I feel
This thing cant go wrong
Im so proud to say I love you
Your loves got me high
I long to get by
This time is forever
Love is the answer
[siedah]
I hear your voice now
You are my choice now
The love you bring
Heavens in my heart
At your call
I hear harps,
And angels sing
You know how I feel
This thing cant go wrong
I cant live my life
Without you
[michael]
I just cant hold on
[siedah]
I feel we belong
[michael]
My life aint worth living
If I cant be with you
[both]
I just cant stop loving you
I just cant stop loving you
And if I stop . . .
Then tell me just what
Will I do
[siedah]
cause I just cant stop loving you
[michael]
At night when the
Stars shine
I pray in you Ill find
A love so true . . .
[siedah]
When morning awakes me
Will you come and take me
Ill wait for you
[michael]
You know how I feel
I wont stop until
I hear your voice saying I do
[siedah]
I do
This thing cant go wrong
[michael]
This feelings so strong
[siedah]
Well, my life aint
Worth living
[both]
If I cant be with you
I just cant stop loving you
I just cant stop loving you
And if I stop . . .
Then tell me, just what will I do
[michael]
I just cant stop loving you
[siedah]
We can change all the world tomorrow
[michael]
We can sing songs of
Yesterday
[siedah]
I can say, hey . . .farewell to sorrow
[michael]
This is my life and i,
[both]
Want to see you for always
I just cant stop loving you
[siedah]
No, baby
[michael]
Oh!
[both]
I just cant stop loving you
[siedah]
If I cant stop!
[both]
And if I stop . . .
[siedah]
No
[michael]
Oh! oh! oh . . .oh . . .
[siedah]
What will I do? uh . . .ooh . . .
(then tell me, just what will I do)
[both]
I just cant stop loving you
[michael]
Hee! hee! hee! know I do
Girl!
[both]
I just cant stop loving you
[michael]
You know I do
And if I stop . . .
[both]
Then tell me, just what will I do
[both]
I just cant stop loving you

Forever
Hush my darling , sleep my lover
Therell be rain till we run for cover
Lost in love in a world of strangers
Something only the lord arranges
Oh my darling , now I found you
Want to live all my life around you
Youre my light in a world of sorrow
Scared of losing this dream tomorrow
I just want to hold you forever , forever
Loving one another thats how it should be
Needing you beside me , together , no never
Try to rediscover no other but me
Oh my darling , if you leave me
I lose the love that has always freed me
Not knowing angel , whats coming after
Never hearing youre golden laughter
Oh my baby , hearts like thunder
Cant escape from the spell Im under
I surrender to all your treasure
Endless nights of pain and pleasure
I just want to hold you , forever , forever
Loving one another , thats how it should be
Needing you beside me , together , no never
Try to rediscover no other but me
(break)
I just want to hold you , forever , forever
Loving one another , thats how it should be
Needing you beside me , together , no never

We All Need Someone To Love
(pilson, hendrix)
Looking back on yesterday
Where did I go wrong
Just cant find the peace of mind
Ive wanted all along
Oh, lord, oh its true
Dont what you want from me
Dont know what to do
Lets walk this road together now
cause I would die for you
Oh, its true
cause we all need someone to love
Everybody needs a friend when they cant hold on
Now we all need someone to love
Youve gotta feel it from inside of you
Oh, lord, its true
We all need someone to love
Everyone can always win
Even if you lose
Take some time
And take a chnace
And make your dreams come true
Oh, lord, oh its true
Youve got to love the one youre with
Until the very end
Weve been to hell and back, my friend
And Id do it all again
Oh, for you
Id do it for you
cause we all need someone to love
Everybody needs a friend when they cant hold on
Now we all need someone to love
Youve gotta feel it from inside of you
Oh, lord, its true
We all need someone to love
Oh, weve gotta keep trying
Its hard to draw the line
Cant you see
Put your trust in me
Well stand the test of time
Gonna stand the test of time
Yes, we will
We all need someone to love
Everybody needs a friend when they cant hold on
Now we all need someone to love
Youve gotta feel it from inside of you
Oh, lord, its true
We all need someone to love
We all need
cause we all need someone to love
To love
To love--yeah, we all need someone to love

Somebody To Love
Can anybody find me
Somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Cant barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord, what youre doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just cant get no relief, lord
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me someone to love
I work hard everyday of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my
Hard earned pay all of my own
I get down on my knees and I start to pray
til the tears run down from my eyes, lord
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love
Everyday I try and I try
But everybody want to put me down
They say Im goin crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody to believe
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ooh, somebody
Somebody can anybody find me
Somebody to love
Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
Im ok, Im alright
Aint gonna face no defeat
I just got to get out of this prison cell
One day Im gonna be free, lord
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Find me somebody to love
Somebody, somebody, somebody, somebody
Somebody find me somebody
Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me
Somebody to love
Find me somebody to love!
Find me somebody to love!
Find me, find me, find me, find me

You've Made Me Glad/Who Is Like The Lord
You put a song in my heart rythm in my step
Praise as my garment for the spirit of heaviness
Beauty for ashes joy for my pain
Love overwhelming causes me to say
(Chorus)
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
Lord I will rejoice because You have
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
Lord I will rejoice because You have made me glad
So I will lift my hands and lift my voice
The way I feel I have no choice
You made me glad
I'm gonna dannce and sing and shout for joy
And praise Your name I will rejoice
You made me glad
Lord we declare
Who can compare
Who would even dare
Cause there is no one like You

The Children Of The Lord
From the beginning, it was decreed
That love in itself does not create life.
For love, even in its own form of life,
Has no power to create anything new.
Love is not God, but God is love.
It is He alone who brings forth life.
The human soul is bonded to its body.
From the creation of life, it is eternal.
Even after death, the soul goes on.
It is no light thing for consideration.
We do our part and the Lord does His.
Not all are granted an inheritance.
Even the righteous have no guarantee.
Even the redeemed have no certainty.
But to those who receive a child,
God looks upon the hearts of men and women,
Knowing the future as well as the past.
To Him, no secrets are Hid from His eyes.
Blessed are the ones who find His favour,
Yet do not boast and offend others.
Rejoice in your inheritance from the Lord.
It is your portion, now and for eternity.
Yet know this, love is patient...
A child is a fragile thing and slow to learn.
To teach a child is a great honour.
To love a child is a noble joy.
Be proud only in God's teachings.
They were not given in vain,
Nor without the sacrifice of Christ.
Prepare each child for the journey of life.
For what lies ahead is no easy path.
Money is a small gift compared to time.
Pity the child who has money but little love.
The children of the Lord learn to pray.
May they bring healing to their parents' hearts.
May they honour them and respect them also.
May they help around the happy home.
For what is love but a helping hand?
And what is love without a faithful spirit?
The Lord of Heaven knows us deeply.
His patience and longsuffering seek perfection.
Search yourselves to see the faults within.
Strive not for a better world, but a better you.
For the Lord created children for His glory.
May they sing the holy hymns and praise Him.
Teach them of the Teacher, Jesus, the Son of God...

Forever In You Heart
You know
That I love you
In every way
You bring
So many magical wonders
To my day
How could I ever leave
One reason why
Cause darlin without you
I cannot breathe
Youre the best thing
In all my life
The only one
Who helps me through
So much pain and strife
Baby you know...
Chorus:
Youll always be in my heart
Well never have reaons
To ever part
When I look into yor eyes
All I see is you and i
Together, forever in your heart
Darlin yes
I love you more than words can say
Youll always be mine
No matter where you are
Youre always at the front
Of my mind
Only for eternity
Youve touched my heart
With undying hope
With your love
My problems can cope
No one will ever take your place
When I close my eyes
I see me
Kissing your sweet face
Youre much more beautiful
Than heavens glowing embrace
Chorus
Youll alwyas be
Forever with me
Baby, just wait and see
Youre my dream come true
And all I can say
Is that I love you
All I can say
Is I love you
Every night and day
My dreams come true
Only when Im with you
Holding you near
Ill always be
With you, youll see
Forever, forever in your heart
Only always
Forever in your heart

Love's Embrace
Filled with happiness
when I'm with you,
There are no days
that are sad and blue.
No doubt that you take me
to a better place,
And wrap me tight
in your love's embrace.
Your smile is filled
with warmness I see,
Your laughter says
you are happy with me.
Your heart is as soft
as velvet and lace,
Still pulling me into
your love's embrace.
Gone are the days
I searched high and low,
Taking every hit
of heartbreak's mighty blow.
No longer do I feel
the pain of tears down my face,
You wiped them all away
with your love's embrace.
Now here I stand
to return that love to you,
My heart will always be yours,
faithful and true.
We both found true love,
and are wrapped in God's grace.
And to each other we are wrapped,
in our love's embrace.

The Living God
Living proof of The Living God, surrounds you wherever you trod,
The creation itself is proof, that God does exist with all His Truth.
And friend, He is a loving God, comforting you with staff and rod,
He’s the Shepherd from above, guiding us with an awesome love.
Friend, He is a personal God, smiling down upon you with a nod,
He wants to be to you a friend, guiding you personally to the end.
The Lord indeed is a Holy God, for purity and holiness is His lot,
Friend, we are to live a holy life, to reflect our Lord Jesus Christ.
He is indeed a Righteous God, and coming back with an iron rod.
Unrighteousness will be no more, when Jesus reigns forevermore.
And He, my friend, has no façade, simply open The Word of God,
You can read the many pages, where God’s been for many ages.
The Lord, He is a faithful God, and you my friend, He will not cod,
God will never fool you friend, for God, Righteousness is His end.
He is not an overbearing God, your heart He will just gently prod,
As He waits for you to believe, and then His Son, you do receive.
He is a God who died for you, upon a wicked cross for all to view,
And just like The Lord Jesus Christ, we are to be a living sacrifice.
Since He is indeed a loving God; to refuse His Love is rather odd,
But this is what many men do, even though The Lord died for you.
The Lord did die, this is true, but Christ rose again for me and you.
He’s now in Glory, on His Throne, waiting to prepare you a home,
Up in Heaven where you can be, in God’s presence for all Eternity.
So believe in God and Jesus Christ, and you will enter Eternal Life.
Faith... Hope... Love...
Faith From The Father,
Hope From The Holy Spirit
And Love From The Lord Jesus!
Comfort all people who've suffered, their troubles to dispel!
Keep praying till they've recovered out of the depths of Hell!
Don't think of life as yesterday, its trials still repeated!
Just choose to let it melt away, till it's been defeated!
Live for this day, not two or three! Just bid tomorrow wait!
Treat with contempt all misery! It isn't all that great!
Don't be 'prone to melancholy'! Why be so negative?
Neither be so falsely jolly! Just live and then let live!
Bad news may come! That's how it is! And yet, why add to it?
No need when something goes amiss to throw some kind of fit!
What use are tantrums nowadays? What progress do they bring?
Be positive and learn to praise the Lord in everything!
I know that's hard when things look bad yet God is known for love!
He grants us strength we never had, to think on things above!
From what the Bible says today you'll get some peace of mind...
But only if you pause and pray! Remember! Seek and find!
God's Word helped Jesus overcome when demons came to haunt!
He knew God's Truth! He wasn't dumb! He conquered every taunt!
While on the Cross, He prophesied! He quoted from the Psalms!
Within His heart Christ stored with pride God's comfort so it calms!
He had a quote to fondly share! God's Light to shed abroad!
It's in His Name we say each prayer! Christ is our Sovereign Lord!
Why think that Christ cares not for you who once was crucified?
Why flout God's Word, say it's not true, rejecting strength supplied?
In truth, I say, behold God's Love! Give thanks with every meal!
Then learn to think of things above, for truths God would reveal!
I tell you this, the Lord forgives! Be pardoned through Christ's Blood!
Draw near to Him, for Jesus lives! He draws us near to God!
Rejoice, I say, again, rejoice! Be open to the Lord!
This is the highest, noblest choice! Have faith... and rest... assured...

They Love Each Other
Mary run around, sailin up and down,
Looking for a shot in some direction.
Got it from the top, its nothing you can stop,
Lord, you know they made a fire connection.
They love each other, lord you can see that its true,
Lord you can see that its true, lord you can see that its true.
He could pass his time, around some other line
But you know he choose this place beside her.
Dont get in their way, theres nothing you can say,
Nothing that you need to add or do.
They love each other, lord you can see that its true,
Lord you can see that its true, lord you can see that its true.
Its nothing, they explain, its like a diesel train
You better not be there when it rolls, over,
And when that train rolls in, you wonder where its been,
You gotta try and see a little further.
[ additional lyrics from the 1973 version ]
Though youll make a noise, just cant hear your voice.
All the dizzy ride on your cold shoulder.
Wont you believe what I say is true?
Everything I did I heard it first from you.
Everything I tell you, I heard it first from you.
Heard your news report, you know youre falling short.
Pretty soon, well trust you for the weather.
When that ship comes in, you wont know where its been.
You got to try to see a little further.
