Go Tell The Congregation
Here I am
There I was
Here I go
Just follow me
If it was
Then it can
And we know
How it will be
When it was
Just because
Yes you know
Its not a dream
Its just all
Cmon yall
Ill tell you
What I mean
When you want to lose your blues
Go tell the congregation
When theres nothing left that you can do
Go tell the congregation
When you want to tell the truth
Go tell the congregation
When the devils got a hold of you
Go tell the congregation
Dont look back
Stay on track
Its a fact
A lesson to me
Keep in stride
With your pride
Now you know
How strong you can be
Theres no time
Draw a line
Yes I know
That you can know me
Look alive
No surprise
Everybody wants to be free
Everything is everything

Buried Alive
Once upon a nightmare
Once upon a time
Youre running from temptation
You got lost
And found that you dont
Belong to anybody
Youre all the same
Just another number
Cross it out
Whenever you dont behave
Someone got the doctor
He knows what to do
Throw some bones and mumble
The devils inside of you
It might be contagious
It might change the plan
Get back in your tiny boxes
Even if you cant
We say you can
Join the congregation
Everybodys got to get in line and
We never justify
The choir sings a never-ending lie
Pre-chorus:
When you thought you were free
You didnt need a reason
No reason to survive
Chorus:
As the big door closes
And you waiting for the nail
Somebody tell the world
Youre buried alive
Once upon a nightmare
Once upon a time
Youre running from tomorrow
You got lost
And found that another
Day has turned to ashes
Taken by the wind
Frozen seeds of sorrow
Never to begin
Join the celebration
And everybodys got to get in line and
We never justify
The choir sings a never-ending lie
Pre-chorus:
When you thought you were free
You did not need a reason
No reason to survive
Chorus:
As the big door closes
And you waiting for the mail
Somebody tell the world
Youre buried alive
One more nightmare
Just one more time
Join the congregation
Everybody get in line
Celebration
The choir sings a lie
As you call
The hammer falls
And no one hears you cry
Im buried alive

Two Paths
Two paths diverged because it was cold,
I marked the real destination on the map;
Somewhere there was a road of significance,
It had made all the congregation.
The roses of the roads were a proof,
That a congregation mattered,
We danced around and spat at the grass,
To sound like matters withdrawn.
At midday the fields struck camp,
A goal for the war was around in skill.
Roses fathered us when we were young,
Flowers sold their mark soon enough.

Better Beware
Dreams of contemplation, a resignation, know what.
Useless indignation, a segregation, plant your seed.
Steamless conversation, what is happening to me.
Im no longer your erection, or your congregation, Im your disease.
(chorus)
You take the sun.
You have your fun but you better beware.
You better beware.
You broke it down.
With that boring sound you gave to me.
That I dont want to hear.
Youre in some blind elation, a kind of delusion,
You dont get through to me.
Deliver your equation and still you wont see a change in me.
You want my redemption, you want me to believe that its all me.
Well, Im no longer your erection, or your congregation, Im your disease.
(chorus)
You take the sun.
You have your fun but you better beware.
You better beware.
You broke it down.
With that boring sound you gave to me.
That I dont want to hear.

There should be queues for the pews,
What - an entrance fee?

The congregation is poor, the priest rings the bell himself.
The joining of the whole congregation in prayer has something exceedingly solemn and affecting in it.

Let The Spirit Carry Me
People come together its time for a union
Cmon cmon cmon lets do it right
When the darkness takes control and we lose the reason
Cmon cmon cmon lets see the light
Well let the faith shine down on me and let the spirit carry me
To a place where the stars dont know your name
To a town where the children fly
To a city where love comes naturally
In a country where devils die
I want to be there one more time
When my brain is on the floor I need you to help me
Cmon cmon cmon dont watch me die
And a friend is someone that you allow to help you
Carry me back carry me back hear me cry
Well let the faith shine down on me and let the spirit carry me
And I dreamt of a love that knows no gain
And our guilt didnt paralyse
Men and women and children can walk free
In the world where our devils die
I want to be there one more time
I want to be there one more time, I want to be there one more time
To a place where the stars dont know youre name
To a town where the children fly
To a city where love comes naturally
In a country where devils die
I want to be there one more time
Well let the faith shine down on me and let the spirit carry me

I feel a part of the congregation. I've never had to do special music. The kids sing in the choir. It's just normal. We're treated like everybody else.
Music is a gut thing. You're working in a medium which is more in touch with the primal than the modern. A gig is a ritual. There's a congregation.

Livin To Do
A message comes down... its a warning
Its not your time, oh no it aint but its coming
Now what makes us think, were here forever
When life is gone, life is gone, before you know its over
A church in the rain... a sad congregation
An old friend I knew
When I look at the end... I understand now
I got livin to do... theres still livin to do
With every breath, comes deeper meaning
I dont wanna waste, I dont wanna waste, one single minute
Tears fall from the sky, angles are cryin
They cry for those... who dont know that theyre dyin
I wait for the sun... a chance at a new day
Theres no time to lose
When I look at the end... I understand now
I got lovin to do... theres still lovin to do
When I look at the end... I understand now
I got lovin to do...
Whoa...
Theres still livin to do

25 Miles
Twenty-five miles from home, girl
My feet are hurtin mighty bad
Now Ive been walkin for three days
And two lonely nights
You know that Im mighty bad
But I got a girl waitin for me
Thats gonna make this trip worthwhile
You see, shes got the kind
Of lovin and kissin
Make a boy go stone wild
I got to keep on walkin
Oh I got to walk on
Let me tell you, yall
Im so tired
But I just cant lose my stride
I got fifteen miles to go now
And I can hear my baby callin my name
Its as if, as though
Im standin at her front door
And I can hear that doggone thing
Now Ill be so glad to see my baby
And hold her in my arms one more time
And when I kiss her lips
I turn backward flip
And I forget about these feet of mine
I got to keep on walkin
Oh I got to walk on
Let me tell you, yall
Im so tired
But I just cant lose my stride
Yeah I got to walk on
Let me tell you, yall
Hope my feet dont fail me now
I got five more miles to go
I got nine, eight, seven
Six, oh six
I got five more miles to go now
Over the hills just around the bend
Although my feet are tired
I cant lose my stride
I got to get my baby back again
I got to keep on walkin
I got to walk on
Let me tell yall
Im so tired now
But I just cant lose my stride
Oh, I got to walk on
Let me tell you now
Im so tired
But I just cant lose my stride
I got to walk on

May
May used to be
a nun wearing a white habit
but due to some
misuse of words
which offended her
Mother Superior she was
asked to leave
and she married
a priest who fell in love
with her
left the congregation
so they can
have a life of their
own
if you think that they
live happily
ever after like
the usual story
of the fairy tale book
you are wrong
they're too religious
and they split
like
two like poles
that repel
each other finally
at the last
chapter
of their love story
in fact
it contained only
five pages
