Mother Nature's Fall Dress

Mother Nature's Fall Dress

The wind came up and started to blow
A sky filled with dark and rain coming slow.

Trees swaying touching the ground
The rain still coming but now surrounds.

Lightening slashing the fabric of the sky
Exposing the vestigial virgins, colorful eye.

The river was in a tourmoil with patches of wake
Falls first weather and summer heat to break

The wind picking up almost to a gale
Thunder and lightening with enough rain to fill a pail.

I sit among nature's eventual force
Wind, lightening and dark clouds; of course.

More white caps on the river below
In a few short months we will call them snow.

The butterfly with flapping wings in haste
Wind takes no excuse for being late.

Disneyland could put on a replica of this endeavor
Wind, rain; thunder and lightening and be very clever.

We Are THIS That Lives

I feel the thunder.
And it embraces.
I see the lightening...
And its electrical traces.
I am engulfed by wind.
And upon me there is rain.
I am enriched by this.
A nourishment exists.

I reflect inside,
What my eyes witness.
All of what is outside...
Within me sits.
My tears are like rain.
My breath the wind!
The thunder is my movement.
And my brain sparks.
Allowing my words to come from Him!
We 'are' THIS that lives!

Anemos Cries With The Wolf

The lightening clashes in the sky
thunder roars
rain crashes to the ground
dark clouds consume the all
a cursive wind blows
critters take warning
Luna has vanished
midnight is upon us
wind chimes sing
leaves dance in the wind to their tune
the anemoi are displeased
their howls echo
the wind has a mind of it's own
It calls to me
guides me
a wolf crawls from his den
as untamed as anemos
he cries to the moon
Sol soon begins to rise
breathless and tired
the wolf stumbles back to his den
and awaits another moonless night to sing his lonely song

Winter Song

Rain and wind, and wind and rain.
Will the Summer come again?
Rain on houses, on the street,
Wetting all the people's feet,
Though they run with might and main.
Rain and wind, and wind and rain.

Snow and sleet, and sleet and snow.
Will the Winter never go?
What do beggar children do
With no fire to cuddle to,
P'raps with nowhere warm to go?
Snow and sleet, and sleet and snow.

Hail and ice, and ice and hail,
Water frozen in the pail.
See the robins, brown and red,
They are waiting to be fed.
Poor dears, battling in the gale!
Hail and ice, and ice and hail.

Picnic

Thunder and rain
Went for a picnic
Upland of Daberry castle
They sat in the castle
And talked a little
When the south wind
Blew above the hill
The rain jumped up
And ran out with the wind.
In the wind
Thunder got angry
And shouted in rage,
Come back rain
And sit with me
But the rain moved
Fast with the wind
Thunder went on shouting
All over the sky.

The storm...

A breeze enhanced becomes a wind, nature is aroused.
Clouds accumulate, skies become grey and hostile.
Rain drops fall like tears of life without emotion.
Electric streaks explode from a scowling sky.
Thunder rumbles follow closely, the voice of life echos.

Rain intensifies to become a torrential orchestra.
A crescendo of raindrops beating out lifes rythm.
Fingers of lightening stretch down to mother earth.
Thunder follows closely behind, a deafening cry.
The wind now a tempest showing tremendous power.

The sight of such power makes me feel so small.
The smell of natures energy purifies my soul.
The sound of this incredible event so monumental.
The taste of the rain on my tongue so pure.
The wind battering my body feels so perfect.

I laugh at the storm, show me your best.
As life moves around me, I wait and witness.
The storm so breathtaking, makes me feel reborn.
In this moment i am caressed by the hand of nature.
The storm is my life... My life is the storm...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

You Don't Care, You Can't Care

It's dark, dank and dreary
The Wind is cold and uncomforting
But I am just another Raindrop
That lands on your Leaves,
You stand rooted to the ground
Not even the Wind moves you
And the Rain touches you.

As I land on your Leaf,
Trying to retain, to remain there
Just for a second, to be a part of you;
The Wind blows me away 'whoosh'
And I am gone.
But you don't look back,
The Roots tell you 'no' as the
Wind continues to blow...

Lying on the ground, looking
Back up at what could have been
You stand there, alone, the
Wind howling, the Rain falling,
And you don't care,
You can't care. Is it the
Wind or the Rain? Or are you just too vain?

Strangely, stupidly, sadly; I
Give you another chance, I try
To talk to you, but you let the
Wind shake your Leaves, the
Rain fall on you, you watch
those Raindrops slide off you
Each and every one falls to the earth
You don't care, You can't care.

She Sleeps

Let the rain fall
And the noise of it on the rooftops be heard
Let it come with the wind, let the wind blow swiftly
And let the trees cry ‘cos they're grieved by it
Let the breeze fill the chambers
And the cold embrace me; let it dry away my tears
Let me quake and not sleep
Let the mighty dark clouds assemble
And let fear fill the earth
Let the moon be darkened
And the stars be hidden; let them not shine
Let the sea be filled and let it run over its walls
Let the mighty waves roar as the waters be glad
Let the dreadful thunders be heard
And the lightening be heard from the east
Let the owls not fly
And the lionesses sleep by their cubes
Let them be still, for a mighty star is fallen
Fallen to rise no more
I see her, yet she sees me not
Quiet and dreamless; till the sun shall rise no more!

To Grandma, always with love!

A Midnight Summer's Rain

Rain pounding 'gainst my window;
the sound of thunder, wind blow.
Flashes of lightning, silhouettes of shadows;
a nature's melody for me to dance to.

My face drips wet by mid-summer's rain;
I spin with the wind, emotionally sane.
Roaring thunder race a crackling smash,
still I dance on; no care, no care.
Throughout the night, the storm rages still,
and I left to watch this mid-summer's thrill

A Rainy Day

On the summit the sun was shining,
And whosoever dared to get outside,
The sun burnt one and fainted by scorching,
And his impact stretched to the world wide,
From the sun, everyone was seeking leisure,
And wished to get in the cloudy pleasure.

In haste the wind came to the cloud,
And against the sun, they conspired,
And were keen to cow down his proud,
To all the vapours, the wind conspired,
Bewildered I turned my head up and ken,
The weather changed at all of sudden.

All the clouds made a ceiling before the blue surface,
And the puzzled sun went behind,
And till the dark night showed not his face,
Then the sky seemed really blind,
The lovely, lovely sweet wind blew,
And it began drizzling like dew.

With lightening and thunder it began to rain,
A moment passed, it became like a curtain,
And was alive every dead creature on the land,
Enjoyed all in the ocean and on the sand,
All of them thanked to their kind God,
And began singing hymn of their Lord.

None of That Sounded Like Sex to Me

~Noticing begins to open the mind.
Much like what Sunrise does upon the horizon...
When its light etches the darkness away from night,
With definition seen to highlight one's assisted vision.

And the brighter that light becomes,
An object begins to develop identity and cast a shadow.
As if attached to aid its meaning.
However...
When those clouds come,
And sometimes they do.
Expect some confusion to be done.
Since it will be difficult to determine,
If it will rain.

And...
That just may happen with or without lightening.
And/or no doubt with thunder.~

'With or without...
And slash or no doubt?
Don't they mean almost the same thing? '

~Huh?
What are you talking about? ~

'The lightening and thunder...
If it should come with clouds? '

~WHAT?
What does lightening and thunder have to do with it?
You kids don't listen with your ears or pay attention.
I'm talking about the birth of comprehension.
None of that has to do with lightening.
Maybe a bit of 'thunder' but rarely with lightening.~

'The birth of what?
None of that sounded like sex to me.'

~Your Honor...
If I may have a few words in my defense.
I need to explain why I stand before you today.
You see...
One of us had to be locked up.
So I knew If I 'tried' to knock some sense in his head...
It would be me found guilty! ~

'And Daddy...
That's why it's hard to listen to you at times.
Because you jump from subject to subject!
AND...
Don't worry about going to prison.
I'm going to volunteer to runaway.'

~When? How soon?
You need some money?
How much? ~

'See. See?
That's exactly what I'm talking about.
You're always joking.'

~Son...
Please take me seriously.
That's all I ask.~

Rain

'RAIN'
Rain what a nice name!
From the sky falling dauntlessly like drops of water
Sometimes the rain falls with thunder and sometimes not.
Oh how I feel to see the rain!
From my window I see the rain
And people with umbrellas and so on
Hundreds of people come out and see the rain.
Oh we enjoy rain
But now the thunder blows and falls with ice!
We get scared!
Rain in the seas and oceans,
The sailors are busy
And away moves the ships with gusty wind and thunder.
The rain gives us shower
And we get pleasure!
The rain fulfills our wishes and arises with rays of new hopes! ! !

Rain, it shall rain

Dust rises, sky-wind snakes
Flowers bow their heads
Cracked are grany’s lips
Emaciated mother, a calf suckles
Clouds form and pass

Lightening I remember
Yester- night, horizon yonder
Rain, it shall rain
Beautiful flowers, cool and green
It shall rain.

Let It Rain!

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the rain wash away the pain.

Furious thunder,
Roaring across the sky.
Releasing her anger,
That was kept inside.

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the rain wash off the stain.

Heavy raindrops,
Pouring down to the ground.
Expressing her sorrows,
That was held inside

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Let the nature heal the pain.

Violent wind,
Blowing out of control.
Exerting her power,
That was once withheld.

Rain! Rain!
Let it rain!
Soon there will be no more pain.

When That I Was & A Little Tiny Boy

When that I was and a little tiny boy
With a hey-ho
The wind and the rain
A foolish thing was but a toy
For the rain it raineth
Every day
But when I came to mans estate
With a hey-ho
The wind and the rain
gainst knaves and thieves men shut their gate
For the rain it raineth
Every day
But when I came alas to wife
With a hey-ho
The wind and the rain
By swaggering I could never fright
For the rain it raineth
Every day
But when I came unto my bed
With a hey-ho
The wind and the rain
With tosspots still a drunken head
For the rain it raineth
Every day
A great while ago the world began
With a hey-ho
The wind and the rain
But thats all one our play is done
And well strive to please you
Every day

Sonnet: The Wind

What shakes the trees so violently? ’Tis Wind;
What moves the clouds hither/ thither? ’Tis Wind;
What takes the tornado around? ’Tis Wind;
What brings the sandstorm on the earth? ’Tis Wind.

What makes the cool and gentle breeze? ’Tis Wind
What makes the boughs and leaves to dance? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the autumn leaves to fall? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the honey-bees to fly? ’Tis Wind.

What makes pollen reach in showers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the dust to climb towers? ’Tis Wind;
What spreads the perfume of flowers? ’Tis Wind;
What makes the rain-clouds advance far? ’Tis Wind.

What makes the Wind to blow? ’Tis God;
What makes a Tempest stop? ’ Tis our Lord.

The Rain Tolls

And the rain sounded like hail,
From the rooftops - a galvanized frailty
To whom does the rain toll?

The marred corners are baying prudently,
And soon the thunder would crash like the foliage,
For whom does the rain fall?

Then all the people who basked underneath the rain,
From puddles, the images hang loose from the terrain,
To whom does the murk of the wind call?

The cold monsoon blusters,
And the trees sprawl to their forefathers,
Tell me underneath the pouring savagery, for whom does the wind stall?

A chasm waiting to be filled,
By the zenith that scampers throughout the fields,
I am bludgeoned by the wind as it scrolls

The sun failed to resurface – collapsed blatancy
As the clouds tender with rain graced ardently
Dullard as it would appear, the rain proceeds to sear

And by the dying moments of the rain,
The slivers of sleeping restive waters breathe
To give life to one more tempest – in me.

Louisa And Nanny

“Come on, ” said Louisa to Nanny,
“let’s go for a walk before it gets too hot.”
So off they went towards the forest,
on a path they had trodden a lot.

Without giving a thought about the season
and the beginning of the monsoon.
They walked and talked for an hour
on that pleasant early afternoon.

Without warning the heavens opened
and it poured with driving rain.
A ferocious gust of wind blew them
towards the dense bamboo cane.

It came unexpectedly from nowhere
its ferocity almost swept them off their feet.
Holding onto each other they found shelter
behind a huge tree trunk of teak.

Lightening was flashing continually
in the sky and all around.
A bolt of lightening stuck a nearby tree,
bringing it crashing down.

The branches barely missed them
as the storm continued to rage.
The torrential rain never paused for a second
as they peered through the rainy haze.

They could barely hear each other
above the sound of thunder, lightening, and rain.
The wind suddenly stopped its cruel intensity,
it was possible to see a short distance again.

Because the whole landscape looked different,
Louisa asked, “Which way should we go? ”
“I’ve lost my bearings completely, ” said Nanny,
“in fact I really don’t know.”

As they considered their best options
on the direction they must take.
They simultaneously wiped their eyes
to make sure of no mistake.

Nanny couldn’t believe what she was seeing,
a pregnant woman standing by the fallen tree.
She stood motionless for a minute and said,
“Tell me Louisa, is that a woman that I can see? ”

“I’m sorry Nanny, I can’t see anyone,
but it is still difficult to see.
The lightening is creating shadows,
making things appear as they shouldn’t be.

As soon as they wiped the rain from their eyes
they were filled with rain once again.
“I suppose it could have been a bush, ” said Nanny,
but the woman was still there in the pouring rain.

Their only way out from their hemmed in position
was pass the woman who began to beckoned them.
Nanny couldn’t believe that Louisa couldn’t see her,
and told her that the woman was beckoning them on.

Again she asked Louisa if she could see the woman,
and again she said that she could not.
The woman in white indicated them to follow her,
and Nanny told Louisa the situation they had got.

“If there’s a way out of here lets follow, ” said Louisa.
Nanny took her hand and they followed the woman.
Weaving in and out, over and under the fallen trees,
she led them back to Louisa’s home in the sun.

The woman just disappeared leaving no signs of a storm.
On reflection Nanny realised she’d seen the woman before,
but what her brain relayed to her didn’t make sense,
and she couldn’t tell Louisa that she was the woman she saw.

Faith And Destiny!

we live on faith,
as if by chance,
yet every step ordained

by destiny!
my father thunder and lightning;
my mother the wind,

i cannot call by name,
but am always in its grasp.
through bruise and scar,

despair and suffering.
i may question the night,
i may despise the day....

but i keep moving with the rhythm
of waves stroked by the moon....
my father speaks!

my mother wipes my brow;
and my lover, the rain, lies with me
on the earth turned by passion

from the wind and rain i came,
to the wind and rain i return...
naked in the arms of hunger!
