Modern Slavery
Slavery comes from the stables of darkness,
creating efficient funds,
free labor,
a business without kindness,
calling it free favors,
making money off the helpless,
songs being sung,
telling you which way to go,
an escape route.
soon to be war,
becoming equal,
fighting to settle the score,
freedom soon to be reigned,
a time for change,
still fighting for freedom today,
a new way,
for better days,
to become equal,
to become enlightened by one another,
as freedom of life calls you name,
singing a verse,
saying no more,
we are equal,
living amongst one another,
sharing laughs,
healing pain,
to this day,
we still fight for change.

The We In I, The I In We!
thermal meltdown, final countdown,
democracy defines itself!
our own soldiers, we grow bolder,
chased by the ghosts of hell!
1st amendment,6th commandment,
freedom exacts a price.
national boundaries, personal boundaries,
mice become men, men become mice! .....
all men equal, all men free..
all men want their dignity.
freedom of choice, freedom to be....
the we in i, the i in we!
faceless jobless, hopeless homeless,
living hard on the streets.
selling pills, shotgun thrills,
gotta be quick on your feet.
hospitals turn away, old men dont pray,
got nothing left to lose.
gunshots, speed off, tag number, all's lost,
somebody pays the dues....
all men equal, all men free....
all men want their dignity.
freedom of choice, freedom to be...
the we in i, the i in we!

Back In Pain
Fight for the right thing
Fight for yourself-no one should run your life
Believe in you- its just the best to do
Before youre giving up
Stay put and give yourself a chance to grow
Get tough and rough- defend yourself on time
Get coming back for more
You gotta push it through
Youre gonna make the truth come true
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- freedom is not free
You see yourself so busy
Doing things people always telling you to do
No matter what- always on your own
Fight just for the right thing
Go all the way and never ever change it
Get coming back for more
You gotta push it through
Youre gonna make the truth come true
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- youre gonna win this fight
Back in pain- freedom is not free, yeah
Oh yeah, you cant do it on your own
I tell ya nothing, nothing new
You gotta see yourself as what you are
Blinded by light and lost- lost in the dark
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- youre gonna win this fight
Back in pain- freedom is not free, yeah
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain

Is Freedom Free? ? ?
America, Land of the Free',
We know the phrase like the back of our hands
We say it pridefully with our flag flying high,
As we sing to the tune with the marching bands
Yet is freedom really free?
Our ancestors had to fight the English,
They had to earn what we take for granted today
Blood was shed and tears were cried,
But there was no alternate way
So tell me is freedom really free?
The Confederates and the Union went head to head,
The Civil War tore America in two
The African Americans had to fight for their rights,
They had to pay the price to do what they wanted to do
Yet we still think Freedom is really free?
Women fought for their right to be equals,
They fought for their rights to work and vote
They stumbled upon a lot of road blocks,
But they never gave up their hope
And you think Freedom is really free?
Even today we are still fighting for our freedom,
Soldiers abroad are defending our rights
Protecting our people and our homeland,
And losing thier lives in the fights
And still you say Freedom is really free?
It's something we don't always think about,
It's something we all take with a grain of salt
But what if one day, you would wake up and it was all gone,
Who do you think would be at fault?
You see little by little they're drawing the strings,
Your privacy can be invaded
Telephones tapped and cameras in your home,
If ever you are suspected
They say in order to keep us safe and our freedom intact,
They have to take such drastic measures
But stop and think for one minute,
What is the purpose of all these pleasures?
If Freedom isn't really free?

Revolutionary
a brown skinned leftist rebel,
marching through the slums,
picking up the beaten.
freedom for all,
and freedom for the one.
each and every one equal,
and responsible,
to and for each other.
take down the money machine,
beat the curse of privilege.
shelter for all,
and all are fed...
no more propaganda,
the truth is freedom.
a modern day Jesus,
healing the sick,
taking in the poor...
you know they'll kill him,
he's not white and rich!

New Birth of Freedom
A new birth of freedom
has come
we have won
won we have
slave are now saviour
we have been discriminated
by them but thank
GOD for changes'
learning your language
and teaching you your
language 'many has lost
their lifes just to
see this day
many are living by
instalment just to touch
this day' should i
call them casualties but
what a bloodless war
we have fought
what a troubadour we
have traverse
nomatter what change we can
its really a birth
of a new freedom
our shame has turn
into fame
the disregard has become
the most powerful person
on earth
change we can
A new birth of freedom
has come we are
now equal amongs them
no more discrimination and
humiliation
better is not good
enough the best is
yet to come.

Freedom
[CD]
It's been said many times that this is a free country,
I look around, I haven't found anything truly free,
I can't believe society ain't put a price on me,
Cos in the end, believe me friend, it's all down to money.
(Chorus:)
Freedom,
Ain't no such thing no more as freedom,
It's just a word we all believe in,
But nothing's free
There's no more freedom!
Freedom
Ain't no such thing no more as freedom,
It's just a word we wanna believe in,
But nothing's free
There's no more freedom
Where's it gonna get you in the end?
One of my friends is so confused over a girl he knows,
She had her daddy's credit card - all his money she blows,
She's so inside herself, she'll never see just who he is,
Her world's a fairy tale of hope and dreams compared to his.
(Chorus)
I know a guy who's worked himself almost into his grave,
I wonder does he know he's lived his life as money's slave,
He fell in to the traps of money's evil tempting ways,
Before he'll realize he's done and dusted all his days.
(Chorus x2)

Freedom is yours
Take a look at your life
Round it up from right to left
left to right
left I might
Never look back
Pull up your pride
attack at its head
bring up the fight
Fight for the freedom
Freedom is yours
If you choose to take it
Freedom is yours
Never doubt you'll make it
Freedom is yours
Freedom is yours
Suburban ghetto prisons
It's all the same
Living up to community visions
Like we're all the same
Change your name
Release the pain
Strike fear in your opponents and make them curse the day you came
The time is now to step forward and keep your balance
The moment to improve your talents
Freedom is yours
You have to remember freedom is yours
Dip in the pool you choose
You're not the first one to break loose
Remove the chains
Forget all you know about the don'ts and do's
Be insane
Remove the chains
Freedom is yours
Freedom is yours
You have to remember freedom is yours
True Soldier
You're off in war
While the love of your life is here
Be sure to come back
Be sure to come back for her
Don't forget the sights of our U.S.A.
The freedoms along with every privilege
Every privilege
Every privilege
(chorus)
You're fighting for freedom
You're fighting for rights
You're fighting to keep America in sight
Fighting for freedom
Fighting for rights
Fighting to keep my America in sight
Our affection is w/ you along w/ our pride
Keep us alive
Keep us alive
the tattoo on your arm reminds you of death
And friends who have died
The friend who has died
(chorus)
You're fighting for freedom
You're fighting for rights
You're fighting to keep America in sight
Fighting for freedom
Fighting for rights
Fighting to keep my America in sight
Down on her knees your mom prays for you
She's begging the Lord to bring you home safe
Come home safe
Please come home safe
Fly in the sky w/ all of your crew
Don't close your eyes the enemy stays true
You know what they can do
You know what they can do
(chorus)
You're fighting for freedom
You're fighting for rights
You're fighting to keep America in sight
Fighting for freedom
Fighting for rights
Fighting to keep my America in sight

Third World Warrior
Chorus:
You cant defeat him - hes fighting for freedom
Thats all he wanted - thats all he needs
Youll never beat him with weapons and money
There aint no chain as strong as the will to be free
Maybe his colors are driving you crazy
Call him a commie - maybe its true
Lure him away from his home with your money
Give him the work that you dont want to do
Chorus:
You cant defeat him - hes fighting for freedom
Thats all he wanted - thats all he needs
Youll never beat him with weapons and money
There aint no chain as strong as the will to be free
See how we honor the struggle for freedom
They needed vision - we gaveem war
See who is patiently watching in silence
The crucification of el salvador
Chorus:
You cant defeat him - hes fighting for freedom
Thats all he wanted - thats all he needs
Youll never beat him with weapons and money
There aint no chain as strong as the will to be free

If 1 And 2 Were Equal
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have as many hearts as fists
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have confused shopping lists
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be less phone numbers to dial
If 1 and 2 were equal
noon would surely last a while
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be a nose under each eye
If 1 and 2 were equal
you couldn't say no to 'you and I? '
If 1 and 2 were equal
I think I'd be much more happy
'cause if 1 and 2 were equal
I would not be so lonely

The Song of Freedom - A Prayer Reflection on Mee Kamocha
When did we leave Egypt
And when did Egypt leave us?
When were the chains of slavery broken
And when did we finally truly feel free?
Freedom came in steps
It was part of the journey
From Egypt to Canaan
Our people took
And we can still take.
Freedom is courage and hope and clear vision
Freedom is walking to places we can’t see
Freedom in knowing that we can find food in the desert
Freedom is feeling safe though our houses are booths.
Freedom is choosing good rules to live by
And freedom is singing our very own song.
So with Moses and Miriam and all those who went with them
With all those before us who brought us to today
We still sing these words, our first words of freedom
'Freedom is having no sovereign but God.”

Dem want to live free greedily, with everyone to pay.
You play under the sun while others fight and dies away

We have the right - to live in peace
and you must fight - for what you keep
If what you keep - holds truth inside
Stand up, defend - lay down and die
We have the right to live in peace
You must fight for what you keep
If what you keep holds truth inside
Stand up, defend, or lay down and die

Call for freedom
Call for freedom
~
My hearts talking
I try to drink it away
Silence the voice within
Tired of it repeating your name
~
It would be good for me
If only I could forget you
I’m not calling out for help
I’m calling for freedom
To be free of you
~
I could say this affection
Is undoing my work
Leaving me in an addiction
Just wanting to be with you
~
It would be good for me
If only I could forget you
I’m not calling out for help
I’m calling for freedom
To be free of you
~
You never gave me a look
That I could instantly see
How we may have a future together
I only saw what I wanted to see
~
It would be good for me
If only I could forget you
I’m not calling out for help
I’m calling for freedom
To be free of you
To be free of you
A call to freedom

Extension 33
Living at the y, extension 33,
Nothing to care or to worry.
Once I was in love with a blind man,
But my auntie told me, dont do it, its not worth it.
Living at the y, 33 years,
No one to call or to write to.
Once I was in love with a married man,
But my instincts told me, dont tell him, itll kill you.
Im sad I didnt marry the blind man,
But whats a life with three blind children?
Im glad I never told the married man,
It saved my pride and freedom.
Living at the y, in 33 rooms,
Nowhere to visit or write to.
Once I was in love, it nearly killed me,
But now I have my pride and freedom.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom and pride.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom and pride.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom and pride.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom and pride.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom and pride.
Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom,
Freedom, freedom, freedom.

Freedom is walking
It is spoken man is born equal and free
To a degree the world disagrees
Some foresee what others cannot see
Freedom is walking away with glee
We have a right to Christmas with a tree
We have a right to enjoy a shopping spree
We have a right to travel the land and the sea
We have the right to an educational degree
Stop the silly talking
Whilst Freedom is walking
Freedom is not a jubilee
Freedom is not a guarantee
Who says Freedom is free?
It is spoken man is free of thought
Without the need to fear higher courts
Some have spoken and finally resorted
To hide their thoughts from being reported
We have a right to a chosen culture
We have a right not to be tortured
We have a right to nationality and security
We have a right to be part of a minority
Stop the silly talking
Whilst Freedom is walking
Freedom is not part of community
Freedom is never an informality
Who says Freedom is immunity?
We want opinion without distinction
We want a world without discrimination
We want a kingdom of utter freedom
We want it in all shapes and form
Stop the silly talking
Whilst Freedom is walking
Stop the silly talking
Whilst Freedom is mocking

Capitalism Battles Freedom
when capitalism battles freedom,
you get what we've become...
profit begats slavery,
the many become enslaved.
founded on freedom?
we took this land from
the Native Americans,
took their way of life,
their rights, their dreams...
in the name of God?
of progress?
we brought over the slaves
from the African shores...
to work, to use, to abuse...
we took their lives, their way of life,
their hopes and dreams...
in the name of free enterprise?
of profit?
we treated our women like possessions,
second class citizens at best.
they were expected to be silent,
to obey, to bear our children,
to cook and wash...
they had to fight for years
to get the right to vote...
even longer for equal wages...
in the name of righteous judgement?
of divine directive?
and now, we the poor,
of all colors and creeds,
are corporate owned.
held under the thumb
of the elite, put down
and trampled on...
our way of life taken,
our hopes for the future dashed...
faceless numbers that stink of poverty!
in the name of wealth and power?
in the name of apathetic profit?
profit at all costs!
capitalism... or something else,
fair, equal, with hope and chance
and dreams...
the way of freedom,
when dignity overcomes profit!
when the human being is worth more
than the dollar and the deal!

Freedom In Your Marriage?
Is there freedom in your marriage?
Or is there bondage bringing woe
Is there freedom in your marriage?
This is what I'd like to know.
For marriage is two people
Each sharing the others love
Not telling each other how to live
Nor giving each other the shove.
For each is an individual
With free-will to be such;
Giving and receiving in their talents -
However much.
Having freedom to enjoy at times
What each may like to do;
Pleasing each other by attitude
Being happy for each too.
Standing by each other
When outsiders shoot the tongue
No matter what the cost might be
For freedom you're among.
So, is there freedom in your marriage?
I pray there is today,
For only in love's freedom -
Marriage will be for aye!

Praise
Let me begin by telling you
Something that happened turned my head around
I took a walk on a cloudy day
I met a friend, this is what he said
Now is the time for change
Im trying to get to a higher place
Life is surrounded by grace
Lets join together singing songs of freedom
What do you do when you gain the world
You pay the price, baby, you lose your soul
Live in a world of make believe
It wont work, baby, cant you see?
Now is the time for change
Im trying to get to a higher place
Life is surrounded by grace
Lets join together singing songs of freedom
Praise.....praise
Its three o clock in the mornin
When Im all by myself
And I feel the spirit comin on again
Now is the time for change
Im trying to get to a higher place
Life is surrounded by grace
Lets join together singing songs of freedom

Ukraine is now on the front line of the war — global war — of freedom against tyranny. The war the free world didn't want to admit existed. It cannot be ignored any longer. Brave Ukrainians are fighting like hell and dying right now to remind us not to take liberty for granted. Putin, like every dictator before him, underestimated the free will of free people. They deserve every weapon, every resource to win this war. Because they're fighting for us. Not only for the whole and free Ukraine. ... This is not chess. This is not a battle between opposite colors, but of opposite values. Freedom, life and love versus tyranny, death and hatred. This is not chess. But sometimes things are black and white. Sometimes you have to fight for what you believe. Or you lose it. This is not chess. There are no draws, no compromises in our battle with true evil. It's win or lose. And so we must fight. And so we must win. Slava Ukraini! Glory to Ukraine. Glory to freedom.

Freedom isn't easy
Freedom of speech
Freedom of thought
are these the things
that you sought?
Freedom is what everyone wants
But Freedom looks at us and mocks
Only a few get what they wish for
they are the ones that soar like hawks
We all know that we have right
yet Freedoms looks at us with spite
We all want to say
what we wish today
we all wish to do what we desire
yet that is only what we can aspire
we all want to break free from our chains
to run away from our restrains
So work hard for Freedom
It isn't free like it says
work hard for Freedom
and look toward blissful days
