Mellow Mood of Christmas
The mellow mood of Christmas
Soft music and thoughts of you
Thrill me through and through.
I relive childhood dreams filled
With laughter and candy canes
An orange, a few nuts and one apple
Just simple little things...
There's not much money this year,
Mama said tucking us all in bed...
Her smile was warm like a gentle kiss
And we didn't miss the flashy
Red wagon or the crying doll
We thought we had it all...
And we did,
Oh yes we did.
It was Christmas in a house filled
With love and music and
Those peppermint candy canes,
Home made cookies, and
Made up games...and
So much love!

(I Saw Santa) Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree
Hey Adam, you'll never guess what I saw last night.
What?
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus. That's right.
Oh no.
They were listening to music, and their voices were low,
And he looks a lot like someone that you and I both know!
Who?
Well, I saw Santa rockin' round the Christmas tree
And Mama was as close to Santa as you are to me
They filled up the socks,
But before he could go
They started to kiss.
Santa just couldn't go.
Well, I saw Mama help Santa decorate the tree
With little bitty presents and candy canes for you and me
He started to leave...
Mm!
Then he turned around.
I made a noise.
*Clunk*
I was sure to be found!
Well, I saw Mama kissin' Santa 'neath the mistletoe
Yeah, and he looked like someone I thought you oughta know

The Christmas Waltz
Frosted windowpanes
Candles gleaming inside
Painted candy canes on the tree
Santa's on his way
He's filled his sleigh with things
Things for you and me
It's that time of year
When the world falls in love
Ev'ry song you hear seems to say
Merry Christmas
May your New Year dreams come true
And this song of mine
In three-quarter time
Wishes you and yours
The same thing too

Christmas Is Here
Christmas is here
Everyone is filled with cheer
I just love Christmas
As well as
Everything else that adds
Meaning to it
Candy canes
Shapes like the letter J
For Jesus
Red for the blood
White for purity
Christmas is so special to me
So many symbols reminding me
Why this all came to be
Wreaths and Christmas trees
Made from the evergreen family
Everlasting life is the meaning
And let us not forget
Old Saint Nick
Who gave presents
To children who
Parents could not afford it
Angels tree tops
They are messengers of God
The star is for the star
Of Bethlehem
And most importantly
Jesus who is the
Reason for the season

Sweet Christmas
vs.1 Oh, the mistletoe is hangin' down;
The beautiful tree is standin' up.
It's decorations are sparkling,
And people's drinks are in painted cups.
The snow is fallin' outside,
And the kids are in snowball fights.
The adults are building snowmen;
It really is a sight.
(chorus)
Everything's great during Christmas,
Even the news that spreads.
Everything's pretty during Christmas,
With the colors green and red.
Everyone's happy during Christmas,
Even the rude ones, it's true.
Everyone loves sweet Christmas; yes,
That's what we should do; love sweet Christmas.
vs.2 Oh, the weather is really nice,
And there's icicles hangin' from the house.
The dogs and cats are all dressed up,
And they're both going after the mouse.
The candy canes are near the tree.
Some of them are hangin' down,
But one of the most exquisite things
Is the Christmas sound.
(chorus)
(instrumental)
vs.3 Oh, the stockings are hanging from the chimney,
And they're full of candy and toys.
It looks like Santa dropped by,
For the girls, as well as the boys.
No matter what anyone else thinks,
Christmas has to be the best holiday.
It doesn't matter what people tell you,
You just go on and sing and say..
(chorus) x2
Oh, Sweet Christmas!
Yes, love sweet Christmas!
Merry Christmas!

If Every Day Could Be Christmas
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
Christmas lights up the city
Roof tops covered in snow
Lover's sharing a slay ride cuddled close
And their eyes seem to glow
Window shopping on Main Street
Bundled up head to toe
The childeren ice-skating around the tree
I see smiles young and old
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
Church bells ring in the distance
Peace on earth fills the air
Side-walk Santa's handing out candy-canes
I feel love everywhere (everywhere)
If everyday could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
It's the time
we open up and give from the heart
Let love shine baby this time
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be
We could carry this feeling within us
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
All through the year
If everyday could be Christmas
If every day could be Christmas
What a wonderful world it would be

Christmas Cookies
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Now Christmas cookies are a special treat
The more she bakes the more I eat
And sometimes I can't get myself to stop
Sometimes she'll wait till I'm asleep
And she'll take the ones I didn't eat
And put those little sprinkly things on top
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Now those sprinkly things just makes things worse
Cause it makes them taste better than they did at first
And they're absolutely impossible to resist
Some disappear to who knows where
But I make sure I get my share
And those kids just stand there waiting for the ones I miss
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
Sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
She gets mad that they're all gone
Before she gets the icing put on
Sure do like those Christmas cookies babe
Now there's a benefit to all of this
That you might have overlooked or missed
So now let me tell you the best part of it all
Every time she sticks another batch in the oven
There's 15 minutes for some kissin' and'a huggin'
That's why I eat Christmas cookies all year long!
Ah, Take it away boys
--- Instrumental ---
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe...

A Christmas To Cherish And To Remember Always.
Christmas is the time to celebrate
precious memories with loved
ones,
Family and friends sit in front of
the fire place,
The scent of firewood burning,
Gives the house that fresh Christmas
smell,
We Feel the warmth through out
the house,
Making it cozy and relaxing,
Stockings hung up above the fire
place,
soon to be filled with toys big
and small,
Names written on each stocking,
colorfully laced and decorated,
We share old memories of how
things were in our childhood days,
Sipping and savoring every taste of
warm hot chocolate,
Christmas tree decorated from top to
bottom,
Lights twinkle, giving the Christmas
tree a magical look,
Christmas photos on the wall,
Christmas decoration surround us,
We have walked into a Christmas
house filled with holiday cheers,
And a Christmas wreath to fill the
guests with a cheerful greeting,
The scent of ginger bread cookies,
the aroma of cinnamon candles to
delight the guests,
This is a joyful and happy time of
the year,
A Christmas to cherish and to remember
always.

Childs Christmas
Children's Christmas
Wee loved ones so sincere,
Their happy loving Christmas
Fill wee ones all good cheer.
Christmas fun starts straight away
When Christmas tree, decorations
Show Christmas on the way,
Oh thoughts of Santa on the sleigh
Little thoughts just can not wait
To be on Christmas day.
As we adults think us back on time
To blissful happy childhood ways,
Well we know our childhood days
Filled us in our realms,
And every coming Christmas
Filled us in our dreams.
Christmas eve dreams kids to sleep
Wee heads sleep pillow Christmas glow,
Sweet dreams see Father Christmas
Come reindeer through the snow,
Christmas morning church bell chimes
Ring church bell Christmas sounds,
Little feet jump out of bed
Think Santa been his rounds,
And quickly rush to find their toys
All through Christmas day
Wee hearts just fill in joys,
Every Christmas day the same
Sure look next time and see,
Look wee darlings through their eye
To see all happy full of glee.
And this our children's Christmas
Wee blessed ones so sincere,
Happy loving Christmas
That comes us once a year.

Candy
Candy
Its a rainy afternoon
In 1990
The big city geez its been 20 years-
Candy-you were so fine
Beautiful beautiful
Girl from the north
You burned my heart
With a flickering torch
I had a dream that no one else could see
You gave me love for free
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left
Im glad you got out
But I miss you
Ive had a hole in my heart
For so long
Ive learned to fake it and
Just smile along
Down on the street
Those men are all the same
I need a love
Not games
Not games
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
I know baby
Candy baby
Uou uou uou
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy candy candy
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Candy baby,
Candy, candy

My House
(Paul Overstreet/Al Gore)
My house is no mansion
But it still holds my treasures
Things that will never be sold
Theres a few things in this world
That just can't be measured
By money, by silver and gold
My house is filled with the things that I love
From her smile in the mornin'
To her soft goodnight hugs
Her whisper, her laughter
Everything that she does
My house is filled with the things that I love
This old bed that we sleep on
Don't have satin covers
But it holds some great memories
No decorations can make better lovers
In her arms I feel like a king
My house is filled with the things that I love
From her smile in the mornin'
To her soft goodnight hugs
Her whisper, her laughter
Everything that she does
My house is filled with the things that l love
Yes, my house is filled with the things that I love

Christmas Is Love
Written by rich alves, t.j. knight, and jerry taylor
Its that time of year when the whole world is heart tot heart
You can feel love all around you, you can see it everywhere
Christmas is love, its in the songs were singing
Christmas is love, its families comin home
Christmas is love, its on the childrens faces
Christmas is love
Christmas is love, a warm and friendly feeling
Chirstmas is love, hear the church bells ring
Christmas is love, its sharing in the giving
Christmas is love
We all gather round, watch the lights dancing on the tree
The spirit of the season, you feel it in the air

Beautiful Christmas
Let's Go!
Big Time!
Merry Christmas everybody..
Put down video games
Pick up some candy canes
And hang a wreath on your door
Give back to those in need
Bring peace and harmony
Cause that's what Christmas is for
And this Christmas, this Christmas
We'll celebrate a wonderful year
ooh this Christmas, this Christmas
We'll decorate the halls with love and cheer
We can make a beautiful Christmas
We can make the world shine bright
As long as friends and family are with us
Every star will shine tonight
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make a beautiful Christmas
Let's party in the snow under the mistletoe
Girl I've been waiting all year
Rudolph can take a break
Frosty can melt away
As long as I got you here
Ooh this Christmas, this Christmas
We'll celebrate a wonderful year
ooh this Christmas, this Christmas
We'll decorate the halls with love and cheer
We can make a beautiful Christmas
We can make the world shine bright
As long as friends and family are with us
Every star will shine tonight
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make a beautiful Christmas
Happy Holiday
Spread the love on Christmas Day
Singin' Happy Holiday
We can make a beautiful Christmas
Happy Holiday
Spread the love on Christmas Day
Singin' Happy Holiday
We can make a beautiful Christmas
So Beautiful!
We can make a beautiful Christmas
We can make the world shine bright (we can make it yea)
As long as friends and family are with us (friends and family)
Every star will shine tonight (shinin' tonight)
We can make it beautiful this Christmas (beautiful christmas)
We can make it beautiful this Christmas (so beautiful no no)
We can make it beautiful this Christmas
We can make a beautiful Christmas
We can make a beautiful Christmas
We can make a beautiful Christmas
Happy Holiday
Spread the love on Christmas Day
Singin' Happy Holiday
We can make a beautiful Christmas

Christmas Without You
My first Christmas without you
I feel so empty, lonely and blue
I know it wasn’t the same as
In previous years
That together we spent
With full of hopes and dreams.
Certainly, I will miss the things that we usually do
Both we’re looking at bright decorations
Listening Christmas songs
Wrapping gifts for our family and friends, too
As I remember it,
On this special night
Where it is filled with peace
Waiting to hear the Christmas bells
And gave each other a Christmas kiss.
Christmas is coming
All alone i am celebrating
I hope that God will grant
Happiness and love is all I want
Dreaming of a simple life -
A different Christmas wish of mine.

Scents Of Christmas' Past
When just a small girl, I seem now to remember when,
There was a special scent of Christmas in our home,
How the Christmas evergreen’s pine perfume,
Room to room, would seem to roam.
Even sounds seemed different back then,
Then they do somehow today,
Don’t know if it’s because I’ve grown accustom to them,
Not filled with that child-like excitement,
In my remembered, childhood Christmas way.
Maybe it’s because the nest is empty now?
Of my children’s laughter and joy,
Somehow that’s what Christmas Day sounds should be,
Filled up with little children,
All playing with their Christmas toys.
So when on Christmas morning,
As they all would rise,
They’d all run down to view the miracle,
Of Santa’s Clauses’ big surprise.
Then mom would brew some hot cocoa up,
Float some tiny marshmallows on their tops,
And every child would place their presents aside for awhile,
While they drank up every luscious drop.
Then all the relatives would arrive,
And share in the Christmas feast mom always had,
This is what I remember
All the joy the scents of Christmas
That always made me glad.

With Bells On
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
Ive traveled around this country crossed the waters deep and wide
Made lots of friends and memories brought joy to others lives
Its christmas time again another year has come and gone
And I cant keep from wonderin how the old folks are at home
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
When the snow is on the meadow and the sleigh bells jingle bright
And the kids are singing jingle bells around the christmas lights
As daddy stokes the fire and mama puts the turkey on
There aint nothing going to slow me down this christmas Ill be home
Ill be home with bells on
Ill be home with bells on
Trim the tree and wrap the presents turn the christmas music on
This christmas Ill be home with bells on
