May 10th
May 10th, is one day amongs all
may 10th pass through me slowly with a word to hold unto
may 10th was sitting waiting to fulfill purpose yet we were blind with fate of foolishness
may 10th took something from the world with pride without regret of pain and lost
may 10th why must you come to pass now
may 10th was a slow moving day moving with
boldness seeking for something precious
may 10th standing at my gate yet i see him not
O what a lostful day to the world
may 10th why must you come to pass at my reign without seeking from me first
may 10th my unforgetable day
it gain more to forgive and forget but how can i forget
may 10th took something worth more than gold from the world
can the world ever forgive and forget that day
may 10th may 10th may 10th can you hear me
u are not to be forgotten by mistake believe me i forgive you but i cann't forget that painful day when you took away my mentor my grand father

June 10th
June 10th will be the last,
the last time I get to see you
No more 'Hi's
No more 'Good Bye's
This is it and theres no turning back
June 10th will be it
it's the last time we can say 'bye'
It has gone so fast,
the time we had together
It wasn't the best time but I
will still miss you.
June 10th is here,
so one last goodbye
'Good bye, I'll miss you.'
Is this it, or will we meet again?

Once Strangers
We were once strangers
Strangers that went to school together
Which lead to a class together
It was nothing special at first
I brought winterfresh gum for you everyday
It use to be your favorite gm
Last period use to be my favorite time
Especially on Tuesday's
You always had a new story
A story that was about your life
Everyday you where there nothing bad could happen
Soon school ended and you went to Waterbury
Once in awhile you would come back to Torrington
However I still called you everyday
10th grade came by and you weren't there
Had to go through 10th and 11th be myself
You came back for 12th grade
I was the happiest person in the world
I had my best friend back
Now you've graduated and moving on
I however went backwards
Didn't listen to what you would say
Now I have to watch you go off to college
I couldn't be happier for you
I wish you the best of luck
I know you will go far.

Wecan't Ask Why Nov 10th,2012
WE CAN'T ASK WHY? NOV 10TH,2012
BY
JAMES BREDIN
If we eventually get death with dignity; what will be their rules?
What would we have to prove to show we're not complete fools?
Would we have to prove we had some horrible disease?
Would we have to get down on our knees and say please?
Death with dignity should be a free choice as a good way to go,
Better than our present system and how we die; we don't know,
Because religious types and Ottawa aristocrats rule the day,
They refuse to adapt to reality and this is not child's play.
Because we don't have referendums, recall or set-date elections,
We have to obey their rules and they make the selections,
Like Sue Rodriguez we could get turned down when we want to die,
And we can't do anything about it - even ask why?

Make It.
Why is it that I'm so
Afraid
That I won't make it.
Afraid that I won't make it
In school, I'm a 10th grader trying to make
It and I'm also afraid
That I won't.
Not Makin it is the worst feeling
A person like me could ever feel
I've accomplished all classroom
Goals, but I haven't accomplished the goal
Of time.
I tried but it was an epic fail and
It wasn't even my fault
And just knowing this hurts me to
My heart.
I don't know what to do anymore…..
Except cry until I cry blood
I've worked so hard to get to where
I'm at and I guess it wasn't enough for them, just for me.
Why is it that I'm so
Afraid
That I won't make it, afraid that I won't
Make it in school I'm a 10th grader trying to
Make it and I am also afraid that
I won't…..

New League Of Nations Oct 10th,2012
NEW LEAGUE OF NATIONS OCT 10TH,2012
BY
JAMES BREDIN
It seems that dictators are okay if they are way over there,
The majority of these despot dictators are already millionaires,
And some may even be on the Security Council of the UN,
How high can they go in that phony place, these so called wise men?
If they are going to have a war over there, it should be small,
A loud battle on a field beside some old castle wall,
Do some killing and shouting and screaming and then go home,
Declare victory and write another song and another poem.
Then go to the UN and each side make a victory speech,
And claim that the other side should be UN impeached,
Because the UN has gone the way of the old League of Nations,
Like the UN, they couldn't stop wars or constant allegations.

The Day Of Liberation
Once again the spring's in the Victory Gardens,
Once again the 10th of April to Odessa's come,
The memory of that day hardens
This wonderful feeling of freedom without alarm.
About 30 months the occupation of Odessa lasted
The streets and houses by fascists were blasted.
But the nation with sense of humor no one can kill,
The defense of the city was everyone's freewill.
In the sea of sunlight is the blue and free sky,
The wings of the seagulls soared into skywards,
The glory to Odessa city is in the seagulls cry,
Wind orchestras play celebrations chords.
The southern sunny city today looks so pretty
And the faces of odessites as usual are so witty.
Their spirit of freedom is light as the sea breeze,
An odessite will never bend the knees.
The second birthday, the day of celebration,
The day of spring, the day of liberation.
