Manifestation of A Dream
Today I sit here and ponder the trials and struggles that have been won
Remembering the marches and the words of faith,
“We shall overcome” were the words sung.
The verse in Hebrews, “Now faith is the substance,
The substance of things hoped for, the evidence,
The evidence of things not seen…seen in the distance.
The faith, the dream passed down from our ancestors
The dream, the faith given by God to help us forgive
Our trespasses and our trespassers
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech on the 28th day of August in 1963
Stating that when the “architects of our own republic
Wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and Declaration
They signed a note of promissory
It was a promise that all men, black men, as well as white
Would be guaranteed the right to pursue happiness, liberty,
And the unalienable rights to life”
Forty-six years later Barack Hussein Obama stood on the same platform
And the feeling of change was reborn
When he spoke these words he reignited the dream
“The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit, to choose our better history
To carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea,
passed on from generation to generation
The God given promise that all are equal, all are free, and deserve a chance
To pursue their full measure of happiness.”
“The dream of brotherhood, equality, freedom and justice
The dream of valleys exalted, hills and valleys being made low
The dream of rough places being made plain
And crooked places being made straight
And having the faith that the Glory of the Lord shall be revealed
And all flesh shall see it together”
The day Barack Obama was sworn in as President
Was in God’s plan for his life and this land
In Judges, chapter 4, Barak was called-so this day was predestined
Langston asked, “What happens to a dream deferred? ’
In this instance the dream became the manifestation of faith
A manifestation of the struggles of slavery and oppression
A manifestation of the heart of African-Americans and all those of color
A manifestation of the content of our character
In Hebrews, it states without faith it is impossible to please God
Brothers and Sisters, the God we love and the God we serve is well pleased.
Amen

'I have a dream! '
And today the dream is fulfilled by electing Barack Obama;
'I have a dream! '
And the 4th November 2008 is now recorded into the History Books;
'I have a dream! '
And today Barack Obama is the 44th President of the U.S.A.;
For the Blackman is capable of handling his or her own affairs.
'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 will be the date to remember always;
'I have a dream! '
For this date gave the First African American to be a President;
'I have a dream! '
And the shout i do hear around me is: 'Obama, Obama, Obama! ! '
'I have a dream! '
That today the Americans had recorded a History to us all;
'I have a dream! '
That the days of the Slavery gone by had yielded fruit today;
'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 had taken us through to fulfil this dream;
So we can really make a change of our lives today.
'I have a dream! '
Today the First Blackman is Elected as the 44th U.S. President;
'I have a dream! '
That today there is joy in the African American Community;
'I have a dream! '

And today, the cap fits Barack Obama.

History Is Made Today
Kunta Kinte's Gambia,
Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana,
Nelson Mandela's South Africa,
Kofi Annan's U.N.,
And Barack Obama's U.S.A.;
All the records are there for a purpose,
For today history is made in the U.S.A.!
Check the history of these great men and what they are made of?
For the Slave Trade started in the year 1530;
And in 2008, a Blackman is elected as the 44th U.S.President.
1530 to the Slave Trade,
And after 478 years today history is made;
4th November's U.S. Election made a history!
Of slaves from Nigeria,
Of slaves from Ghana,
Of slaves from Senegal,
Of slaves from Gambia,
Of slaves from Angola,
And all the other places of the African Continent;
What was due to us has been done.
'I have a dream'! Martin Luther King (1963):
And today (2008) the dream is fulfilled (Barack Hussein Obama) .
Even babies could pronouce the name 'Obama'! ! !
For the American dream is for a better America.
Of the slaves gone by and the tears of the people today,
Out of Africa to America;
Inot the plantations of a hard work to fulfil this dream today,
So i really understood the tears of many after the results.
'Yes we can'! After 478 years in history;
The American Independence came but many were still not liberated,
Not until the 4th November's 2008 U.S. Election.
I say the tears of many,
And this history of the First Black Family to sit in the White House;
But to al things, let us give glory to the Creator Almighty.

Hebrews 11: 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the light of the Lord that opens the door
Reveling the light of heaven serene
the evidence of things not seen
My God has revealed the evidence
His glorious power with consequence
Healing me and making me clean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith in Christ without reservation
releaved the pain of my aberration
So open His book to see what I mean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen

Dream of love
Dream of hate
Dream of nothing
Dream of faith
Dream of death
Dream of sorrow
Dream of snowfall
Dream of tomorrow
But,
do not dream of me.
me & you, we are through
you gave me pain
you gave me hate
you gave me nothing
but this fait.
I will not foget you
but I will forgive you
not for you, but for me.

Stand in Faith
Stand in faith
Even when you can't see your way
Stand in faith
Even when you feel like you can't face another day
Stand in faith
Even when the tears want to flow from your eyes
Stand in faith
Knowing that our God will always provide
Stand in faith
Even when you feel that all hope is gone
Stand in faith
Knowing that He is always there for you to lean on
Stand in faith
Even when you feel like giving up
Stand in faith
Because He is there... saying, 'Just look up'
Stand in faith
Even in those times you feel so all alone
Stand in faith
Hold on and be strong, for He is still on the throne
Stand in faith
Even when it's hard to believe
Stand in Faith
Knowing that He can change your situation, suddenly
Stand in faith
Even in those times you feel it's hard to pray
Stand in faith
And believe that He has already made the way
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
So stand in faith
Because you already have the victory!

I have a dream
'I have a dream! '
The man on the platform began...
'I have, a dream.'
The people all around cheering, clapping.
The signs were raised in the sky.
The man spoke strong and true,
His voice singing with hope, equality, and power.
His name is King, Marting Luther King, Jr.
His dream is to have white and black people equal.
To have friendship between them, to have no vision of color.
'I solemly swear! '
The man on the platform begain...
'I do so solemly swear.'
The people all around cheering, clapping.
The signs were raised in the sky.
The man spoke strong, and determined,
His voice filled with change, with strength.
His name is Obama, Barack Obama.
He is the begining of the future, and the present.
He is the begining of that 'dream' coming true.

Just a little Faith...
Just a little faith can light your path
When everything seems dark,
Just a faith can push you forward
To achieve a higher mark..
Just a little faith can move a mountain
From its place
Just a little faith can assure you that
Life's challenges you CAN face..
Just a little faith can give you the courage
To reach your dream
Just a little faith can restore you confidence
and self esteem
Just a little faith can allow you to soar
Above the sky
Just a little faith can make you never give up,
and try, try and try, ,
Just a little faith can pull you up,
From rock bottom, straight to the top
Just a little faith can make a dying person
Once more alive
In a world which treats us as though we're nothing,
Just a little faith can make us SURVIVE........
Bless! !

Fly Until You Catch Your Dreams
Often your tasks will be many,
and more than you think you can do
Often the road will be rugged
and the hills insurmountable, too
Always remember, the hills ahead
Are never as steep as they seem,
And with faith in your heart start upward
And climb 'till you reach your dream,
Nothing in life that is worthy
Is ever too hard to achieve
If you have the courage to try it
And you have the faith to believe...
Faith is a force that is greater
Than knowledge or power or skill
And many defeats turn to triumph
If you trust in God's wisdom and will
Faith is a mover of mountains,
There's nothing that God cannot do,
So start out today with faith in your heart
And Climb Until Your Dream Comes True.

Barack Obama!
Victory is ours,
Dark hair, Brown Skinned six one and a half feet tall,
The 44th President of America stood before us all,
With the words of hope and aspiration
Assuring us that 'America is still the country
of which all things are possible'
Many said it was impossible who didn't have a doubt,
Out of the land of Kenya and Hawaii our leader would sprout,
From a dream within a dream came Hope and Change,
The restoration of unity and strength and the name,
The name AMERICA,
For we are all one, One nation under God, indivisible,
No matter what origin, gender or race,
Barack Obama, a figure of perseverance and faith,
Even when the stars dimmed he still walked his pace,
A true leader indeed,
For through his courage and ambition,
I dream beyond the stars,
Victory is ours,
A true leader indeed,
I await for his leadership,
His government and guidance we need

Everybody dreams.
Everybody dreams.
Children dream,
Adults dream,
Old people dream.
I dream, too.
I dream about the friends with whom I'll grow old,
I dream about the person whose hands I'll hold,
I dream about being young and in love,
I dream about loved ones, looking down from above.
I dream of the places I'll one day see,
I dream of being wild and free,
I dream of my house, high on the rocks,
I dream of the sand underneath my socks.
I dream of the people I'd love to greet,
I dream of the things I'll say when we meet,
I dream of hearing their voices sing,
I dream of being happy with everything.
I dream of travelling with a map in my hand,
I dream of never coming back to this land,
I dream of finding myself - in sense
I dream of jumping far off this fence.
I dream of any things that one day I'll know,
I dream of the freedom: a dream I won't let go,
I dream of my future and marvel at my pride
As my heart is flying and singing inside.

My Day With MLK
Our day began on a hot summer day in 1963,
MLK was right next to me, and we were in Washington D.C
Who knew this day would be remembered forever in history
The present was on his mind, and his I Have A Dream Speech really got 2 Me
He spoke about freedom and he spoke about equality
Me being from the future, i wish everyone would have equal opportunity
After giving his speech, he received a round of applause
But his mission had just started, no need for a pause
I asked him if he thought he truly made a difference
He looked me in the eye and said yes but every good idea always has resistance
I was inspired, i could tell he was consistent, with everything he did
becoming a pastor, a civil rights activist, and even befriending a white man as a kid
We took a trip to the present year,
but not overLooking everything that had 2 be overcome 2 get here
I asked if he thought we had made progress
he looked at the sky scrapers, technology, and said this is all non sense
He had a dream that our world would one day be full of peace and Love
but Looking around all he sees is violence and drugs
I told him that segregation had evaporated, but racism was still present
He said in the end our skin color is merely our image, but what really matters is whats beneath it
I could tell Martin Luther King Jr. had a heart that loved the world,
its too bad the world forgot his principles, and left um 2 swirl
I asked him how could the world be a better place
He replied simply, this life is not a race
'We need to stop trying 2 beat each other,
Cus in the end we're gonna rely on love for 1 another'
Those words spoke 2 be, i grasped what he had said
no more pondering in the past, just looking straight ahead
From my day with MLK,
World i assure you that racism should be dead by today
it is not necessary, we are all the made the same
I wish everyone the best, and i assure u the world would be better if we all wished the same!

I dream..
I dream of floating away on a cloud
I dream of catching a falling star
I dream of my prince charming
I dream of how I'll save him from the dragon
I dream of cows on the moon
And pink grass
I dream of old ladies knitting socks
I dream the twelve Olympians are real
I dream I'll meet them someday
I dream of vast sugar cane fields
I dream of a bed of roses
And how prickly that must be
I dream of firefly friends
I dream of a lighting bug show
I dream of riding a striped horse down the aisle
I dream of hot air balloons
I dream of polar bears
And penguins
I dream of snow
I dream of rain
I dream of summer
I dream of fall
I dream of day
And night
I dream of the moon
I dream of stars
I dream of going to Mars
I dream of how I'll be queen of the Martians
I dream of how I'll love my subjects
And people always said I belonged on another planet
I dream of love
I dream of faith
I dream of hope
I dream of culture
I dream of life
And I dream sweet dreams

Dream Tomorrow
I shall think it a dream tomorrow
I wont believe you returned
That once again I saw and touched you
And youre so unconserned, unconcerned
You must have known that your cruel silence
Would be so hard to bear
And yet you let me wait, you let me wait and
Wonder
Neither here nor there, here nor there
I came back with just one intention
For one last look, one last taste of you
Revenge on those who still despise me
And take my own life too
But theres a long and twisted journey
Between this callous thought and deed
And youre a sweeter way to give me
All the things I need
Two ambitions coincidind
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
How I hope its no dream tomorrow
But Im scared the light will fade
And today will be a vague recollection
Just a fools escapade, escapade
I never cared much about the future
Yesterday was always there
So when you give me hope, hope or a promise
It just isnt fair, isnt fair
Any plan, any calculation
Any plot or device at all
Runs into anothers dream
Runs into a wall
No matter what premeditation
In our three score years and ten
There are only fractured moments
Wed want to live again
Two ambitions coinciding
Will only happen now and then
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore your faith again
Never hope or dream tomorrow
Will restore you faith again

Can't you see it?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask for things we already have
Where is the love?
Where is our dreams?
Where is the peace?
Where is the promise?
Where is the faith?
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
Can't you see that it's everywhere?
Can't you see the happiness?
Can't you see the peacefulness?
Or are you too busy
with looking at the bad things
To see the good?
When you look at the bad things
That's all you get.
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I can see the love
I can see the dreams
I can see the promise
I can see the faith
I can see the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You should be saying
I feel the love
I feel the dream
I feel the promise
I feel the faith
I feel the peace
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
If you don't see those things
I'll show you
It's not hard to show
Love
Be loved
Dream
Have dreams
Promise
Have promise
Faith
Have faith
Can't you see the love beside us?
Can't you see the dreams in front?
Don't you know the promise is in our hearts?
Don't you know that we have faith?
You ask me where the love is
But you don't realize it's everywhere
You ask me where our dreams are
But you don't realize it's right in front of us
You ask for the promise
But you don't realize that we already have it
You ask me where the faith is
But you don't realize that everything has faith

Love, Hope, and Faith
We live tomorrow
the dreams of today
Our hopes of the future
gives us faith along the way
Love is the river
of this wakened state
Its never out of time
its never too late
It gives us life
as it flows through our lives
It tears through confusion
loneliness and strife
Love cuts a clear path
through the test of time
You can see where it has been
and watch it unwind
Free as a river
that you can’t control
You can’t even say
where it might flow
Hope is a power
that cant be taken away
It can pull you through
even the toughest of days
Hope can keep you going
when everything else fails
It keeps you company
on the loneliest of trails
Faith is ever daring
in the face of defeat
It can bring you courage
that nothing can beat
Faith is never doubting
in yourself or your beliefs
Holding on to what you know
when content is just a dream
Faith can give you strength
to face what the future brings
Combined with hope and love
you only need the three of these
Love is like a River
Hope is like a dream
Faith is just believing
with nothing to be seen
So dream of tomorrow
and love for today
Hope with all your heart
Let faith show you the way

Dream, Hope, Faith, Love...
i have a dream
or a dream dreams me
i have hope
a hope that is for me
i have faith
a faith that's not in me
i have love
a love for all i see.
I had a dream
a dream that dreamed me.
I had hope
a hope that hoped for me.
I had faith
a faith in I, in me.
I is love
a love which joins I
with all that i can see.

Obama! Obama!
From Bungoma to Oklahoma
It's Obama! Obama! Our Barack Obama.
Lips and tongues ululate your name, and
Your ideology is a hot topic within the intelligentsia.
Are you the real reincarnation
Of Martin Luther and his King-size dream.
In broad daylight, Luther dreamt of no color or race.
Can you dare to dream of a paradise of all faces.
Are you, by all means necessary,
Like Malcolm with his big X on racism,
Striving and struggling for racial harmony?
Can you harmonize between the haves and the haves not?
Obama! Obama! Our Barack Obama
Before they scare you with Bin Laden Osama
Please turn into a bridge between races
And become a cauldron of peace in the Middle East.

Faith
Woke up in the morning still I heard this song
Must be somewhere from my dreams, I dont know
Made me feel so good, sun was shining bright
God, I love you that you brought this little song to give me..
Faith
In the morning
I need that faith
To go on, yeah
Give me some faith
Cant get enough of that sweet feeling, give me faith
Oh yeah, I keep the faith
Sweet little girl, lying next to me
Sunlights playing on your face with soft shadows
Youre so beautiful, dream on, dream on, baby
Im gonna wake you up when the time is right
Ill give you..
Faith...
One day I shall be released by my creator
Going home to where I came from long ago
And the big wheel keeps on turning round and round
Into eternity with me to cosmic meadows
I will be there with all my friends..
..in the morning
I need that faith...
