Love Is So Hard, Life Is So Simple

Love is so hard
For whom?
For the ones that lost a loved one
By a murder
And for the criminal
Life is easy
Because all he does is seat in jail
While we pay to keep him in jail
But to be honest it is better to have a murder in jail
Than in the streets
Does the murder have any simpathy for the person he killed?
No

Penetrate in phallic push
To perforate the pulse of tissues in the flesh
Slice a vein to drain the unsuspecting victim
E’er they bleed and plea
Their scream

Premeditation

Oh blade you'll warm tonight!
Awash in crimson-purple flows,
Your sheen will dull with aching flesh:
Palpating anatomic mounds
Caressing, dancing, writhing round
Your metal form-
Whetted ‘gainst a lonely bone,
Then to probe the pounding, begging heart.

And all the while the prey will howl
Before they crumple; greet the mud-
A taut and unbelieving jowl
Will open out for giving blood-
A vent from down below,
Once a brutal show
Of metal in the man.

Gangland

(smith/burr)
Shadows may hide you but also may be your grave
Youre running today maybe tomorrow youll be saved
You pray for daylight to save you for a while
You wonder if your children will face the killers smile
Dead men -- tell no tales
In gangland -- murders up for sale
Dead men -- tell no tales
In gangland -- where jail birds die
Face at the window leers into your own
But its only your reflection still you tremble in your bones
How long can you hide? how long till they come?
A rat in a trap but youve got to survive
Once you were glad to be free for a while
The air tasted good and the world was your friend
Then came the day when the hard times began
Now your alone but alive for how long?
A knife at your throat another body on the pile
A contract to keep and its service with a smile
Murder for vengeance or murder for gain
Death on the streets or a blackened out jail
Dead men -- tell no tales
In gangland -- murders up for sale
Dead men -- tell no tales
In gangland -- where jail birds die
In gangland you tell no tales

Dire Wolf

In the timbers to fennario, the wolves are running round,
The winter was so hard and cold, froze ten feet neath the ground.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
I sat down to my supper, twas a bottle of red whisky,
I said my prayers and went to bed, thats the last they saw of me.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
When I awoke, the dire wolf, six hundred pounds of sin,
Was grinning at my window, all I said was come on in.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
The wolf came in, I got my cards, we sat down for a game.
I cut my deck to the queen of spades, but the cards were all the same.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
In the backwash of fennario, the black and bloody mire,
The dire wolf collects his dues, while the boys sing round the fire.
Dont murder me, I beg of you, dont murder me. please, dont murder me.
No, no, no dont murder me. I beg of you,
Dont murder me. please, dont murder me.

A Tale of Four Lives

The two brought their parents no glory, all they brought was shame
One was convicted of murder; the other eloped with a dame
The parents were left alone with a son getting life term in jail
About the other was nothing known, of him no one could tell!
They pined away in grief, before their tears dried up
Life was all a dark alley, full was misery’s cup
Thus rolled the years, then came the appointed date
If ever the forlorn souls could know their lost son’s fate!
Their lives broken and their dreams shattered
They went to their graves, it little mattered
What about the sons, what happened to them?
One died in jail, the other lost his dame!

Dead, Jail, Or Rock 'n Roll

When I was a kid all I wanted to be
Was the meanest dude on the meanest machine
Now I'm going to wrong way on a one-way street
I never fit this society
I don't really mind
Doing my own time
The three choices I ever came to find
Were:Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
I ain't looking for trouble but it's looking for me
The law of the jungle is protecting me
Lose sleep man stay out of your bed
You might wind up in jail if you lose your head
In death I might find
True peace of mind
But while I'm alive
Free choice is mine
It's either:Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll
Dead, Jail or Rock'n'Roll

Holloway Jail

They took my baby, to holloway jail,
They took my baby, down holloway jail,
She was a lady, when she went in,
Now shes in jail, and its giving me hell.
She was succeeding in the city,
She was just beginning to excel,
Then a spiv named frankie simes
Led her to a life of crime,
And led her on the downward trail.
Frankie came home late from work one evening,
The c.l.d. were hot on his trail,
Frankie promised everything,
And then he went and turned her in,
She went and took the rap for him,
Now shes impaled in holloway jail.
They took my baby, down holloway jail,
They took my baby, to holloway jail,
There aint no pity, there aint no bail,
And she assures me that its living hell.
She was young and ever so pretty,
Now she looks so old and pale,
She never sees the day,
She wastes her life away,
Sitting in that prison cell.
They took my baby to holloway jail,
They took my baby, down holloway jail,
She was a lady when she went in,
Now shes in jail, and its giving me hell.
Shes impaled, in holloway jail.

A Different Law

For the wealthy and poor there's a different law
Though on that your own conclusion you can draw
You may think my comments are not very fair
But this is my view and my view I will air
Save for some cases of proven murder money does never fail
And money is known to keep people from jail
Many poor people are in jail for a minor offence
They can't afford a lawyer for to fight their defence
'Tis powerful paper money for to give it fair due
And that money does speak every language does seem only true
The wealthy and poor the law treats differently
Though with what I say here many would disagree
The reason you don't find many millionaires in a jail
Is that the influence of money seldom does seem to fail.

I Hate the Thought of Hate Crimes

A crime is a crime no matter how cut it,
A murder is a murder, a rape is a rape,
An assault is what it is,
A crime scene is a crime with the yellow tape.

If the prisons were to be abundant,
We can then send to jail all are convicted,
We don’t have to pardon anyone out overcrowding and time off for good behavior,
We must send all the criminals that indicted,
Guilty as charged that is what should fuel our endeavor.

Are we really up to the cost?
Are we really up to taxation?
Are we saying we have lost?
Are we saying we’ll pass another law,
such as hate crimes,
without a suitable explanation?

For The Crime Of Murder There Is No Defence

The good Lords commandments have been cast to the side,
If you commit murder there's no need to hide,
We no longer heed the words of our God,
With self-interest society has become overawed.

Material goods are more important than health,
Regardless of how you obtain that wealth,
Stealing by force is now classed as routine,
Our society is in the worst state it's ever been.

All religions dictate, thou shalt not kill,
It's a commandment we humans can't seem to fulfill,
Of killings there's always an endless supply,
We've an insatiable appetite to watch others die.

Be it in wars or through mindless disputes,
Violence towards others is what it recruits,
If someone's being killed we just stop and stare,
Fact is nowadays we no longer care.

We see it daily while watching the news,
It's a crime that some lawyers try to excuse,
We no longer see murder as a heinous act,
It's looked on as minor that is a sad fact.

Violence towards others is a daily routine,
We will turn away to avoid being seen,
If you don't enjoy violence you are way out of tune,
From murder and mayhem we've become immune.

From an early age we learn all about death,
How to make someone take that final breath,
From computer games to movies of hate,
Our thirst for killing we find hard to abate.

We're taught that it's wrong but we don't seem to hear,
The destruction of others we no longer fear,
We look upon murder as a way of life,
It doesn't bother us it be it with gun or a knife.

There's no deterrent to killing another,
Conscience nowadays is so easy to smother,
A luxury prison will be your reward,
What happened to living and dying by the sword?

A few years in jail and soon you'll be free,
That's not a punishment I'm sure you'd agree?
Killing for fun is now classed as the norm,
Then the victims are told you need to reform.

While they and their families find it hard to live on,
The perpetrators complain they feel put upon,
By pandering to murderers we encourage their crimes,
Laughing at killing is a sign of the times.

Unless we change now our society will fail,
We'll no longer bother putting murderers in jail,
The decent will be scared just to be alive,
Lawlessness and anarchy are what we'll see thrive.

If you're honest you'll be classed as totally insane,
Then cast to the side if you dare to complain,
Society as we know it will no longer exist,
The good among us will no longer be missed.

It's to future generations this legacy we endow,
Killing others means nothing, it's happening now,
If you think it's okay then you're totally dense,

Kinder Murder

Here in the bar, the boys like to have fun
Theres a wager lost and an argument won
Theres a stone-washed damsel on a junk food run
Its a kinder murder
Theres a ladder to heaven from a battered stiletto
Spitting out the words that he put into her mouth
See her in silhouette going down south
Its a kinder murder
Its a kinder murder
She could have kept her knees together
Should have kept her mouth shut
Its a kinder murder
Its a kinder murder
Jimmy took her down to the perimeter fence
He was back in half an hour, he said he left her senseless
Then he went back to his regiment
Its a kinder murder
The officer said it has to be denied
Theres a tear-stained would-be teenage bride
All the family pride in the little ram-rider
Its a kinder murder
Its a kinder murder
She could have kept her knees together
Should have kept her mouth shut
Its a kinder murder
Its a kinder murder
The child went missing and the photo fit his face
Dishonoured jimmy just read about the case
He said that he was just taking up space
Its a kinder murder
Jimmy took his best friends keys from the pile on the table in a flash
He was dreaming of the pigskin seats and the walnut dash
The knickers in her handbag and the one false eyelash
Its a kinder murder
Its a kinder murder
She could have kept her knees together
Could have kept her mouth shut
Its a kinder murder [4x]

It is murder

When you take away a life
With the aid of a knife

It is murder

While you extinguish the living with a gun
Without being able to recreate what was born

It is murder

If you feed someone dead tablets
Later have second acrimonious regrets

It is murder

You are taking away a life
It is clinging on to survive
Need I say anymore further
It is murder

Murder sprung by a fling
With ropes or a string
Your hands only bring
Death around a necks ring

Execution by suffocation
Condemned with abomination
Deliberate foetus termination

It is murder

Make no mistake,
Be careful
Asleep or awake!
Murder is unlawful

If death occurs because of the effects of an evil curse
I will say this with my lips pursed
'What a great loss, but this is not murder!

Is It Really Justice or Just Revenge?

Is capital punishment justice or is it revenge?
This is the question that I want to defend.
Is it really justice if you have to kill someone?
Or is the killing of a being just for your fun?
Is a murder really justified if the culprit spends less time in jail?
If so then it seems capital punishment is just easy bail.

They should be punished and not given an out of jail card,
All capital punishment is doing is spending money, cold and hard.
Wanting them to die doesn’t seem like justice but revenge?
It leaves blood on your hands when there life ends.
Life is full of trials and tribulations this is a must,
But if you kill a man then it won’t make life any more just.

Justice is using authority to give a fair decree,
But intended death to a being doesn’t seem fair to me.
Revenge is to satisfy in retaliation,
But death’s your one hit wonder, one satisfaction.
So I will always choose the criminals to defend,
Leaving you with your decision: justice or revenge?

Murder Incorporated

Bobbys got a gun that he keeps beneath his pillow (oh yeah)
Out on the streets your chances are zero (oh yeah)
Take a look around you (come on down)
It aint too complicated
Youre messin with murder incorporated
Now you check over your shoulder everywhere that you go (oh yeah)
Walkin down the streets, theres eyes in every shadow (oh yeah)
You better take a look around you (come on down)
That equipment you gots so outdated
You cant compete with murder incorporated
Everywhere you look now theres murder incorporated
So you keep a little secret down deep inside your dresser drawer
From dealing with the heat youre feelin down on the killin floor
No matter where you step you feel youre never out of danger
So complicated you keep complaining some bones hurtin
I hear that you, you got dogged downtown, man it leaves your head cold (oh
Yea)
And everywhere you look life aint got no soul (oh yeah)
That apartment you live in feels like its just a place to hide
When your walkin down the streets you wont need nowhere there to hide
Now the cops reported you as just another homicide
I could tell that you was just frustrated from livin with murder
Incorporated
Incorporated
Everywhere you look now
Murder incorporated
Down on your knees
Murder
Everywhere that you turn its murder
Murder
Everywhere you look theres murder.

Since I’ve Been In Jail

Since I've been in jail
the world has turned around the sun ten times
And if you ask the earth, it will say:
'It's not worth mentioning,
a microscopic time.'
And if you ask me, I will say:
'It's ten years of my life.'
I had a pencil
the year I came to jail.
It wore out in a week from writing.
And if you ask the pencil, it will say:
'A whole life.'
And if you ask me, I will say:
'It's nothing, a mere week.'
Osman who was jailed for murder
completed a seven-year stretch and left
since I've been in jail.
He wandered around outside for a while,
and then got jailed again for smuggling.
He served a six-month term and left again,
and yesterday a letter came saying he's married
and a child will be born in the spring.
Now they're ten years old
the children who fell from their mothers' womb
that year I came to jail,
And the colts of that year who had long thin shaky legs
have long since become docile broad-rumped mares.
But the olive shoots are still shoots
and they're still children.
New squares have opened up in my distant city
since I've been in jail.
And our family
is living in a house I've never seen
on a street I don't know.
The bread was pure white, like cotton,
the year I came to jail.
Later it was rationed out,
And we here on the inside beat one another
for a piece of black crust the size of a fist.
Now it's free again,
But brown and tasteless.
The year I came to jail
The Second One had just begun.
The ovens in Dachau Camp were not yet lit,
The atom bomb was not yet hurled upon Hiroshima.
Time flowed like the blood of a child with his throat cut.
Later that chapter was officially closed,
Now American dollars are talking about a Third.
But in spite of everything, the days have brightened
since I've been in jail,
And about half of them
'put their heavy hands on the pavement
and on the edge of darkness
straightened up.'
Since I've been in jail
the world has turned around the sun ten times.
And again I repeat with the same passion
what I wrote for them
the year I came to jail:
'They
whose number is as great
as ants on the earth
fish in the water
birds in the sky
are fearful and brave
ignorant and learned
and they are children,
And they
who destroy and create
it is only their adventure in these songs.'
And for the rest,
for example, my lying here for ten years,
it's nothing...
