Love Fought Back
Love fought back my depression
I thought love was not aggressive
But here it is fighting back
While i sit here and enjoy a snack?
I think naught I'm strong enough for this
I will keep things from going amiss
Goodbye depression, Love is stronger than you
Sorry Mr. T but i don't pity this foo
The foo is depression dark and mindless
It can barely fight back its become spineless!
See for the last couple months I've been
Depressed committing every sin
I realize now i was just a fool
My mind simply using em as a tool
But as i sat here ever day
Writing my poems in my own special way
Because i had realized love and love had ruined me
It pushed me to the point I wasn't who i was supposed to be
So everyday i wrote my poems
Wondering if any of them would become known
for they were dark and moody and raw fear
Then i realized something i hold dear
I thought and i thought and it was strong enough
I realized then how Love was tough
See love had ruined me, Made me empty
Then i realized why not live for love let it grow stronger every day, for i had plenty
So i thought i will live for love i will fight for it everyday it will become my best
And as for depression? just forget the rest
Remember me as the one who fought
Remember me as the one who brought
love into my life and conquered my own depression
With this poem i offer my own digression
And want to be known as the on who has conquered his fear
A feat not that mighty here
But to me it is great for i am one so weak
my love will continue growing until it has piqued
Then i will confess my love yet again like i did
But the love remains to the same person i bid
my feelings to before isn't that strange?
Or is it truly love which cannot be ranged
from 0-60 like a car
But must be nourished so that i may go far
And now i leave this poem happy
still thinking myself quite sappy(^_^)
Now that i know i live for love.....
may my swings spread and fly like a majestic dove

Living For Love
I’ve lost the will to fight
On this ever faithful night
Where oh so finally
Begins my time of misery
I’ve been sad a lot you say?
That was just sadness of the day
But now depression starts to sit
A blanket of woe begins to knit
As I start to die lonely in this world
Then I think of how my life unfurled
It was a great life of of joy so great
I had no emotion I knew I was gonna break
I should have seen it coming
I really should have known
The voice inside me humming
My very mind was thrown
I was fine I was great
Then 9nth grade started a debate
Inside me whether I should free
My emotion from the chains that I held inside me
I had chained my emotions so I would not get hurt
But I was convinced to let them go and they busted right out of my shirt
I let them be as they were fine for a while
For once in my life I had but a true smile
For I had let them go and I was still happy
My happiness was oh so sappy (^_^)
Then I developed something I never felt before
And with it desire came with a great roar
I felt love and still feel it its strong inside me
I decided to let love join the others and be free
So I let it out nervous as hell
Then I saw it start to dwell
It went after one of my friends and stayed there attached
It started to grow and I knew I was outmatched
I gave in to the love without a strong fight
For I knew love was of the strongest mite
So I listened to love and was happy as ever
Then...bam! Like someone pulled a lever
I was crushed I was destroyed and broken
And because of a few words spoken
I had let myself open knowing thate I’de be hurt
Just like that I was thrown into the dirt
Cast into a new feeling I never have had
Depression..i met you...and i’m not very glad
You are my life now Love and you
And...theres only one thing I can do
To rid myself of this burning feeling
I feel as bad....when I was stealing...
No worse worse than ever before
Depression like love lets out a great roar
Its consumed my mind happiness I know not
For right now, Happiness and joy have already begun to rot
By now they’re gone I know nothing of them anymore
Everyday I wake up and think...my mind is really sore
From all these thoughts swimming around
But every time I look I have only found
The burning love that is still inside me
I cannot rid myself of it you see
It is far to great stronger than my depression
In this poem I write out my confession
I have a feeling that depression is nearly gone
To me this love is like a giant saw
It’s cutting the depression making it weak
So that my love grows until it piques
If my love ever piques then I shall know
That my mind is not aging slow
It’s already growing, every day
Depression used to be a darkened shade of gray
But with every day my love as red
Turned my blackened heart alive from dead
I feel better after writing this poem
For it speaks the truth that I have always known
I live naught for my family or even my friends...
I live for love so it may grow to no end
Love is my life I can see that now...
Here’s to hoping I keep my mouth shut to I don’t get hurt *takes a bow*

Battle of the Heart
Depression, everyday is fighting
knowing exactly what it takes
to keep my love for Him
to stay in His cold, rough embrace
New love, new affection
one that is SO sweet
having this new love
everyday is a wonderful treat
Depression's time is almost up
He'll break my heart
to make me stay
before my new love starts
Hoping he wont succed
wanting this love to stay
never been this happy
without being with you everyday
Depression wanting me to stay
i want to move on and be with you
His hold on me is too strong
knowing our love IS worth moving on
Love so far is winning, sometimes love fails
but love tries His best to mend my heart
Depression is fighting for my attention
He is tearing my heart out right now!

The Melancholy Blues
Depression controls every single one of us
For some people, depression barely exists
But for the rest of us, we are doomed to live depressed
Depression makes you unhappy
Makes you think trying suicide
Makes you think about the wonders about death
Depression causes us to hurt the ones we love day by day
We want to get help but never seem to be able to
A shred of hope left in us in those we love
Hoping they will save us from this black-hole
That we keep falling into
Depression controls us, our feelings and our mind…
And we battle it every day with tiredness.

I Do Not Belong
Slave to the mind
It’s hard to find
The place that I belong....
Slave to the soul
I have played my role
To find where I belong
I do not belong here
I have done payed my fare
Why can’t I leave death?
I try until my last breath
You hold me here, hoping I’ll break
The happiness I hold is oh, so fake
I’m lost truly forgotten
In this world so begotten
I think now...why Death? Why hold me here?
And he answers.....Because of your fear
(Death) If I let you out you’ll get scared
(Death) Down here you have done fared
(Death) Very well I think isn’t depression joy?
I think not for a 14 year old boy...
I will leave Death, just you wait
(Death) I had you born on that fatal date!
(Death) Friday the Thirteenth I had you born
(Death) To have you walk this land as scorned
(Death) This is why I had you made
(Death) Depression is just a black parade
You had me made to live life of hate?
With this I will retaliate
I will fight against you, Death with all my might
To get past my petty fright
I’m afraid of life you know this Death
So you dragged me here into this depth
For the better of me? To help me be safe?
Ha! Your lies are beginning to chafe
(Death) But it’s true young child I only wished to help
Silence Death! Your voice is that of a young whelp!
I shall listen no longer I’m making my escape!
And leave to to this horrible fate
(Death) You think you can leave? Just like that?
(Death) I honor your courage with a tip of my hate
(Death) But you cannot escape here....It’s in your mind
In my mind you say? So devine!
I am in control of my mind
(Death) No, your not your just a fool
A fool who is stronger than you!
(Death) Stronger than Death? I think not
(Death) And now I will leave you here to rot
I’m over my fear and I will leave here
I’m leaving now Good Bye my dear
(Death) what’s this? Your truly leaving? But depression is your life!
I shall leave this world with a thrust of my knife
(Death) The world you say? Would you really?
I would do so absent-mindedly...
(Death) But we are here in your own mind
(Death) Would you kill yourself? I can’t really find
(Death) any doubt in your words...so ill leave just fine......
I have conquered you Death you said you were stronger!
....The lesson learned is I couldn’t be wronger
Death was warning me of the hates of this world
Makes everyone I know need to hurl
A lost love, a lost hope, a lost dream
Life isn’t as easy as it once seemed
That wasn’t Death I know this now
It was my own depression and it took its bow
It did a number on me I won’t recover
Not until a find another
Person just like me so we can talk
Maybe just take a little walk
And speak of our problems so we may be
Happy just like the world may seem
I have not found where I belong
But I am content with my little song
Made me feel better knowing the truths
Knowing my mind is aged well over my youth
With this my farewell I leave you here
Hoping that you know I hold all my friends dear

Stealing Your Joy...
Be not depressed. Depression, is the thief of happiness.
Like all thieves', he must be combated and defeated.
Like all thieves', depression must be fought with great
vigor and resolve.
Depression, the dark cloak of reason, that blocks most
rational thought and any chance of happiness.
Depression, an emotional straight jacket, confining the
depressed to an infusion of negativity and haplessness.
Depression, withdrawal of social
interaction and an elongated state of sadness.
Depression, a disease that like a
cancer, eats away at your very being.
Depression, a desperate battle between
living...and merely existing.
Depression, an enemy, that one must seek help
to do battle with.
Do not stand ideally by, for depression,
will steal your very soul.
The enemies of depression, are social interaction, happiness, love, understanding and seeking medication or help in some form. DO IT!

Dealing With Depression
Depression is being lonely in a room full of people
Depression is being constantly tired but never able to sleep
Depression is longing to be with others yet not being able to cope with company
Depression makes you lose your appetite and eat yourself fat
Depression is smiling to hide the pain inside
Depression is when the soul dies but the body keeps on living
Depression is forgetting who you used to be
Depression is not knowing if you could survive without it
Depression is being sad when nothing is wrong
Depression is not caring whether you live or die
Depression is having no interest in the things you used to love
Depression is lying awake for hours in bed at night contemplating the best way to kill yourself only to realise that you can’t be bothered.

Unreturned
What is love when it's not returned?
What is my affection when it's spurned?
Can a love flourish
When it's not 'us'
When it's just 'me'
Will this love cease to be?
Can a love grow strong
And last long...
When it's one-sided
And it's not mutual, will it not be short sighted
And soon wither and die
But i tell you the truth.... I hold this... I hold my...
My love close, like a beloved child
I nurture this love though I'm given no food
Not from you... Is this good?
And is it right?
Must I sit and continue to love and adore
When I'm given no love in return
And deserted.... left longing for more
I love you darling... now it's your turn.
How shall my love grow?
When there is no fear of rejection-
But certainty of it... How then shall I not go?
And lapse into depression?
When the prospect of failure is all there is
What shall I do?
But nay! I am stubborn, I will continue to love you
I refuse to give up so I guess it's one-sided
But I have hope, even if a fool's hope
That one day I will not lament that my love remains unreturned
But I'll hold you and you'll tell me you love me... FIRST

Her...
I can never get my mind off her,
I wonder if she'd mind if i'd,
make her my own,
and never let her go,
hug her tight,
treat her right,
act all polite,
take her on a date,
make sure i'm never late,
kiss her on her lips,
talk about our kids,
Make her feel like princess,
living in a castle,
hope that is not too much hassle,
But i am so blessed,
hope i can be the best,
hold you tight,
have your BR3A$t,
on my chest,
pass the test,
NOW YOUR MINE!

Depression Hurts
I feel so depressed all around I see people smiling and laughing enjoying every little thing in there life.
I look around and ask my self 'why can't that be me? '
I try and try to get out of my depression.
It hurts me to see you knowing you love me and care.
But the break you want is breaking me down into depression.
I hate the way you say you love me and say you care and told me to never to think that you don't love me or that you care about me.
I can't help but think that way because I'm tired of being alone and scared.
When we were'nt on the break you took my depression away.
But now that were on the break I instantly fell into depression and cried and cried all day and night long wanting you back hoping and praying that would happen.
I begged and begged for this break to never happen but it did.
I still love you with all my heart!
But were not together and this Depression Hurts!

My Fear Takes Over My Depression
This depression causes me fear
causes the fear in life to come out
the fear or confusion and the fear of loss
I try hard not to think of fear and this depression
but somehow the depression lets the fear back into
my body and lets the fear take over the sadness
I would rather feel sadness, pain and anger than fear
the fear that I feel makes me feel weak and worthless
I try to love but the fear steps into place once again
I am afraid to love cause I fear hurt
it's gray all the time in my head
while I try to make it look like it is all sunshine and rainbows
on my face with the smile i put on for everyone
while on the inside I wanna cry!
cause the depression lets my past come back
the flashbacks of the unwanted
unwanted that I just want to go away
I try to work through the problems but I still cant get it all out
I wonder if I talk about every incident step by step detail by detail
and bassically relive it, if that will take it away!
but here is that fear again from the depression
the fear of talking and reliving the past! !
my depression causes me fear!

LOVE What's love? ? ? ?
Love is just a word that i did not knew the meaning of before i met a special 'GUY'.
He showed me love even if it was not totally right
Love is deep
Love is special
Love is incontrolable
Love is magnificient
Love is strange
Love is joy
Love is pain
Love is mysterious
Love is crazy but before all that love is sweet and exquisite
Love made me a better person
Love turn me soft, lovable and loving
Love made me do things i thought i would never do
That's 'LOVE'
Love is just a word but that's my definition
Love is why i keep on hoping to have my love back
Love is why i keep on going and dreaming
Love made me happy and gentle
Love.........................

Deserae's Poem
This was the first love poem I ever wrote. I wrote it for my first girlfriend. This was only shortly after I started writing poetry.
Your face is like an angel's grace
Your face is like a dove.
It's beautiful to see it,
And know that I'm your love.
You're beautiful, you're smart,
You're the angel in my life
Our love is growing stronger yet,
So strong it could break a knife.
With these three words you took my heart
You said it and I thought 'Who? '
Then I realized it was me
When you said 'I love you.'
you took my heart and loved it.
You're the full moon during the day.
I fell in love, I loved to hear
That name called 'Deserae.'
More beautiful than nature.
More Gentler than stuffed bears.
More lovely than a ballad sung
When I knew that you care.
I makes me glad you like me
Because love is pure and fine
It makes me glad you love me
And also that you are mine.

Depressions
No sleep, no interest and no concentration;
Then it is depression one undergoes..
Much casualty is the old people.
Women are twice the men from them.
Reading love stories, seeing love scenes
And hearing love songs fight back the depression.

I Do Not Love You
I do not love you,
Hence I would not lie to you.
I do love you,
Yet I crave to leave you.
I do not love you
Yet I am happy with you
I do love you
Yet a burden you are to me.
I do not love you
Yet when gone I miss you
And think about you,
Till the night see the day
I do not love you
Yet my bone grow weak without you
I do love you
Yet I am stronger without you
I do not love you
Hence do not leave me
For the thought of death hovers
Aimlessly on wings in my mind
I cannot hate you
My sweetest love
Though I want to leave you
I cannot deceive you
I do not love you
Yet strong bond lies between us
Oh my sweetest love
I do love you

I Want You Back
Writers: leo sayer & albert hammond
You know I thought I could live without you
I thought I could get along
But I never realized that I could be so wrong
Was I a fool to leave you
Or was I a fool to let you go?
Doesnt seem to matter much now baby
I should have never let you go
I want you back
I want you back
And I will never stop until I got you back, aah, aah
I wander the road where we used to walk
And lotsof people pass by
They all look like theyre in love
Everybody but me
I see your face in the crowd
I hear your voice everywhere I go
And when I turn around thinking youve come back
Ah, youre never, never, never there
I want you back
I want you back
And Ill keep on searchin until youre really here
I want you back
I want you back
And I will never stop until the love Ive got
Is back in my heart to stay
I want you back
I want you back
And Ill keep on searchin until the love I got
Is back in my arms until I got you back
I want you back
I want you back
And Ill never stop until the love I got
Is back in my arms until I got you back

Underlying Depression
Underlying depression, have to crawl into my room
Underlying depression dont want to know about the moon in june
Outside theres a cavalcade of clowns but they're bringing me down
With underlying depression
Underlying depression and its starting in my backyard
Underlying depression, and these times aint even so hard
Lord I was born with the blues and my blue suede shoes
And underlying depression
Underlying depresslon and theres ust nowhere to turn
Underlying depression and things just seem to turn in on one
Sometimes Im stuck in the corner just like little jack horner
With underlying depression
Underlying depression and I just cant get it right
Underlying depression Ive got to fight it with all of my might
Right now I dont want to be alone
Get my baby on the telephone
Underlying depression
Have to make some concessions when everything is working right
Have to count my blessings, helps me make it through the night
Ive got love in my life as well as trouble and strife
And underlying depression
Underlying depression, underlying depression, underlying depression
Aint nothing but the blues
Underlying depression aint nothing but the blues
Underlying depression, aint nothing but the blues
Underlying depression

Suicide & Depression Of My Life.
Suicide. Is a big part of my daily income.
Suicide. Made My docter give me those drugs.
Suicide. Makes My life hole.
Suicide. I dont know any better.
Suicide. Theres no life for me with shelter.
Suicide. Can i ever be happy.?
Suicide. I push myself away from loving another.
Depression. Has made me a horrible person.
Depression. Pushed me away from the ones i needed.
Depression. Made me a bad person., as though im told.
Depression. Was caused by this thing called Shizophrenia.
Depression. Is something im told i will have to live with for the rest of my life.
Depression. Please, please. Help me. I want to get out.
Suicide. My wrists, they bleed more then enough.
Suicide. It hurts me, on inside and out.
Suicide. The day will come soon.
Suicide. Im over it, bring me a knife.
Suicide. This is hurting me so much.
Suicide. My hearts ripped apart.
Suicide. Dont worry this wont be the end.
Suicide. I will see you again.
Suicide. I love you, and that will never change.
Suicide. This isnt your fault.
Suicide. So goodbye to you, i love you, goodnight.
Suicide. Dont let me ruin your life.
*READ* To everyone who read this, this is pretty much what i have to feel each day, i have mental health problems, and thats something i have to live with, im only young so i have learnt to grow with it. Please, to anyone who think about suicide, dont.. It not only hurts you, but hurts people around you, and iv learnt that along the way. So be happy with what you have, and the people you've got. And be glad you dont have a mental disorder and a disease. It hurts, so bad. =(
