Lost In The Memory of You

There were days so long ago
That time stood still
Truth came to be known
A passion from within
Lost in the memory of you

Kindness ruled the day
Laughter all around
Silence was stirring deep
The heart full of love
Lost in the memory of you

Sadness consumed the soul
For tomorrow would never come
Longing to be near
Yet distant and apart
Lost in the memory of you

Memory and Oblivion

When all is lost, there is still a memory
From which a new city can be built in a new world.
Those with memory will be wealthy.

Oblivion cures the old wounds, and you must agree,
There is only the past and the future on the path;
When all is lost, there is still a memory.

Memory will save oblivion from a bad reverie;
When the new city is built, it will be an abode,
Bestowed by those with memory to make others wealthy.

Before the temple, in the middle of the city,
Keepers of the fire all abided.
When all is lost, there is still a memory.

Fire will be born from night to be
New light when all knowledge is swallowed
And those with memory will be wealthy.

A new rose will bloom from the dark sea,
A city revived from memory and abroad;
When all is but a memory, there is still memory.
Those with memory will be wealthy.

Memory (Thy Shall)

Thy shall not slumber,
Thy shall not wake,
A memory so fragile,
So delicate it may break.

A memory so lost,
So unwanted it tears apart,
Until it dies,
It shall go back to thy start.

A powerful memory it may be,
Or a memory that shall be overlooked,
Thy one shall let it see,
How thy memory is like a book.

But how powerful thy memory is,
It has to be stronger than a good memory,
A memory that has passion and feeling,
A memory that has greatness and becoming myself, I, and me.

Until that kind of memory is shown,
Thy memory shall be looked upon near and far,
Thy memory shall be kept hidden,
Until it shall be who we are.

Thy shall not slumber,
Thy shall not wake,
A memory so fragile,
so delicate it may break.

Honesty Of The Souls

Lost in memory of time
Poor hearts at the corners of life
There they left all alone
No one can feel their pain inside
Lost in memory of time
The life for them used to be always but always lost desires
Once upon the time they had the opportunity to describe
What they want in life
One day everything was just a breath away
So easy that if just they could extend their hands
They would touch their heart desires
But the spirit who's pride is precious then anything else in this life always refused to be a beggar
They stood there all alone
They preferred to be just a memory in sprite of time
Because they've had noble and honest thoughts.

I'm Lost, I need change

I'm lost in a darkness as dark as the night
but lighter then the stars above
I'm lost in a memory that once were
but now is gone far away
I'm lost in the sadness after the dark
but live my life with laughter
I'm lost in this world, so beautiful it is
but it takes my life from me
I'm lost in myself and so confused
that my heart is broken in two
It's dark, it's light
it's noon, it's night
everything is changing but me
I'm lost in a life so still and slow
that my heart stops beating soon
I'm lost in a town where my heart isn't placed
and without my heart I can't live
I need my life back,
I need to change,
I need to get out of here
I'm lost in this place where i don't belong
And if I stay my breathing will stop
Therefore I go
out into the world
to a place greater then here
There I am lost in a big new world
But my heart will be with me again

Tip of My Memory

On the tip of my memory
of a time so distant
sitting at kitchen table
watching my mother.

She was cooking one of her
fine means, as she always did,
remembering how young
she was.

Miss those days of old
when we would just talk
of her telling me of her youth,
now I'm older than she was then.

All of this just on tip of
my memory, so long ago
as days go by, memory fading
away to days so distant.

Making Love With Memories

You poked my blurring eye,
Let me lift your mushy breast.

We aged onwards
While you stroked flaccidity –
Recalling decades of
Blood-gorged coming, shuddering to boot.

I kissed a venerable mouth
Crammed with falsities –
Once brilliant keys
Guarded by crimson lips
Washed by a sensual tongue.

And so we writhed in wrinkles,
Tiring effort, and
Memories.

The Past Is An Old Man's Poem

The Past is an old man’s poem
And all he was
And all he can never be again
And all the people he loved
No longer here-
And all the times he can barely remember
And never forget
And all the love lost
And all the waste
And all the sadness
And all the joy and the still strong happiness-

The Past is an old man’s poem
Written in his memory
And waiting to be said again and again
While he lives through another day and another night and another memory lost
The past is an old man ‘s poem
And that poem too will be gone before long.

Life

I've seen the light and I've
seen the fate
And I walked away
Still I'm ok
I remember the pain inside
from the day when my mother died
Never went away
It's still here today
[Chorus]
Ya born alone
Ya die alone
And still we live on
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
And my baby he went to sleep
in his mother's arms we pray to keep
He shyed away
He never lived a day
Best friend call me up to say
with a gun in his hand said he's goin' crazy
Said you'll be ok
he still died the next day
[Chorus]
Ya born alone
Ya die alone
And still we live on
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
I stood in line
I've lost my pride
I've made the change
I'm a better man today
Death brings life
Still we try
To live a better way
Before your dyin day
[Chorus]
Ya born alone
Ya die alone
And still we live on
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
Yesterday is a memory
Tomorrow is a vision
But today
it's a bitch
Yea yea
Yesterday is a memory
But today
it's a bitch
[fades]
Yea yea
Yesterday is a memory
tomorrow is a vision...

Hilaire Belloc

The Loser

He lost his money first of all
And losing that is half the story-
And later on he tried a fall
With fate, in things less transitory
He lost his heart-and found it dead-
(His one and only true discovery),
And after that he lost his head,
And lost his chances of recovery.
He lost his honour bit by bit
Until the thing was out of question.
He worried so at losing it,
He lost his sleep and his digestion.
He lost his temper- and for good-
The remnants of his reputation,
His taste in wine, his choice of food,
And then, in rapid culmination,
His certitudes, his sense of truth,
His memory, his self control,
The love that graced his early youth,
And lastly his immortal soul.

Lost To Find My Lot

Lost in a world, that scares me to death,
Lost in a crowd I’m losing my breath,
Lost as a kid, lost as an adult
I feel everything is falling apart and its my fault
Lost as a person, cant find my way
Lost in life every day, Lost in worry
Who am I?
I’ve lived a Lie
Lost to Kindness,
Lost to Love
Lost in the sky,
Like a lonely dove
Lost in thought which I shouldn’t do
It Winds me up,
I can’t get through
Lost to comfort all kind words
Lost to advice that isn’t heard
Lost to those who really care?
All these people always there
Lost in Me, I need a break
Lost in wonder which road should I take?
Lost in a place I don’t know well
Where are you now? There’s no one to tell
Lost here all alone To break these walls
Lost in mind
Lost in soul
Lost memories, there just a hole
Lost family, lost my place
Still yet I’m full of hate
Lost in boredom think I’ll leave
There’s a lot in life I need to achieve

Come As You Are (LP Version)

Come As You Are"
Come, as you are. As you were.
As I want you to be. As a friend.
As a friend. As an old enemy. Take your time.
Hurry up. The choice is yours. Don't be late.
Take a rest. As a friend. As a old memory, memory, memory, memory.
Come. Dowsed in mud. Soaked in bleach.
As I want you to be. As a trend. As a friend.
As an old memory, memory, memory, memory.
And I swear that I don't have a gun.
No I don't have a gun. No I don't have a gun.
Memory, memory, memory, memory (don't have a gun).
And I swear that I don't have a gun.
No I don't have a gun. No I don't have a gun.
No I don't have a gun. No I don't have a gun. Memory, memory...

Heart of Closure+ (2006)

Our fainted hearts collided
we fell into each others emotions...
we created a heavenly gift when we united
You struggled most of the time, alone
thinking I was lost, I remained in solitude...

You said you did your best
I know you will never forgive,
Your heart next to mine will always detest
Yes! it's a recaptured memory, but
it's a memory I would love to relive,
and a memory I will never forget...

A Desperate Letter

It was that time when you abandoned me,
the twilight had bid farewell to the long sad day;
So that it could be lost among the silence and the darkness of night.
That night moon was seen transparently among the few lit stars.

It was that time when I bade farewell to the past,
I had to cut my roots with the venomous dagger of reason.
That was the last evening in which the child of me had to grow.
It had to migrate from the deserted mirage of my memory.

The little poet kept calling for you; giving out signals of
"SOS" in smoke; while you were lost among deafening laughters
It was that afternoon which burned the feathers of my love of a swan.

That night even the moon of my hope remained faded;
When I was pecked by distances,
A poet's only inheritance is memory;
And because of you I had to cast away even "memory".

Read 'em And Weep

Midnight, not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory, she is smiling alone
In the lamplight, the withered leaves, collected my fee
And the wind begins to moan
Memory, all alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days, it was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again
Daylight, I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life, and I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes, tonight will be a memory, too
And a new day will begin
Burnt out ends of smoky days, the stale cold smell of morning
The street lamp dies, another night is over, another day is dawning
Touch me, it's so easy to leave me, all alone with the memory of my day in the sun
If you touch me, you'll understand what happiness is
Look a new day, has begun
Memory, all alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days, it was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

A Letter In The Last Day Of '2008

first word is 'hello'
that it writes me
the following are so mellow
so sad, so heartily
at first it greets me warm
but hardly I smile
then it writes 'thank you'
and I say mine too
it tells of our beginning
I start recollecting
memory, oh memory
gathers around me
tears and laughter
we've shared together
from one, two, three, four, five,
until three hundred sixty five
a lot of thing we've divided
between ourselves and loved it
as I reach to the middle
I begin to sniffle
I hold myself not to sob
sadness in me run amuck
this letter so clear
tells of what I hate to hear
it tells that it will leave
at this time tonight, it will
it speaks of what I fear
my eyes in tears
it says we won't ever meet
and it says 'sorry'
its time is coming
truth I'm denying
days we're together
I thought it'd be forever
no, no, no it's not
not a storyline or a plot
five minutes to midnight
I finish reading it
tears break free from me,
knowing we won't ever meet
we're friends for long
our memory are so profound
our memory are worth the time
that 'memory' I won't ever find
but I'll lock in my heart always
until I die someday
twelve fifty eight
I beg the 'time' to wait
let me feel its presence
that fades and weakens
at the exact midnight
my body lose its might
I start to falter
and again read the letter
I lost a fellow
now a little hollow
tears then follow
to my cold pillow
the last word is 'good bye'
good bye too, my friend
and that memory I'll never find
again...

P.S.: in my opinion, new year not only is the time to be jubilant, but also sad to be left by a friend that has accompanied us in a whole year, 'the 2008' itself..

Why Did You Leave Me

If only you could see the tears
In the world you left behind
If only you could hear my heart
Just one more time
Even when I close my eyes
There is an image of your face
Once again I come to realize
You have lost that I cant replace
Soul then die
Its keeping for the lonely
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
Walking down the streets on nothing will
Where our love was young and free
Cant believe just what an empty place
It has come to be
I would give my life away
If it can only be the safe
Cas I could still the voice inside of me
That is calling out your name
Soul then die
Its keeping for the lonely
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
Time will never change the things
That you told me
And after all we mean to be
Love would bring us back to you and me
If only you could see...
Soul then die(soul then die)
Its keeping for the lonely(for the lonely)
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die...

Memory (Old Piece)

I'm a figment of thought
I'm a fantasy
I'm lost in the past
I'm a memory
I'll run away
And you'll forget
Ignore the past
As lost regret
You said you'd always
Remember me
But now I'm just
A memory
You called me a friend
Yet I mean nothing to you
You lied to me
And broke your truce
For I can't say
I'm a memory
For you no longer
Remember me

Taking a Walk on Memory Lane

Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all that gray.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I see the sunrays.

Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all full of tears.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I have no fear.

Taking a walk on memory lane
not a dropp of rain in sight.
Taking a walk on memory lane
Every thing is alright.

Taking a walk on memory lane
is where I want you to come along.
Taking a walk on memory lane
is where we belong all lifelong.

But where did I get lost?

Do I Need To Be Yours

I am not yours, not lost in you,
Not lost, although I long to be
Lost as a candle lit at noon,
Lost as a snowflake in the sea,
Lost in the wilderness of time,
Lost in the midst of all.

You love me, and I find you still
A spirit beautiful and bright,
Yet I am I, who long to be
Lost as a light is lost in light
Lost in the dark is lost in darkness.

Oh plunge my heart deep in love—put out
My senses, leave me deaf and blind,
Swept by the tempest of your love,
A taper in a rushing wind.
