the nights were scary

Isolated, not just glassed in, but apart
You ever just feel like you're in another world, because you're not like them
ever feel set apart, not sanctified, because it's like you're they condemn
you, not even for being a Christian, but just because you don't fit in
not because of lack of sin
or the 'not of the world' idea, i feel that, but what happens when you
don't fit in with your own people, when your meaningless interests conflict
even contradict
their own, when they look at like some alien and assume that they too
believe, but there seems to be this wall
that stops us from being friends, because im so different,
who are my people, when i don't even belong with those who are
'not of the world' they feel so far
away from me i can't help but feel isolated sometimes
as i write these rhymes

Lonely Road
Tis dark and lonely,
Walking here alone.
This cold stony road
I have made my own.
Tis where the brave few
Dare to venture thru.
They walk here in search-

The coldness chills inside;
I grit my teeth and hold on.
Though sad and long, I make this road my own

I walk a lonely road, the one and only one I' ve ever known.
I don't know where it goes, but I keep walking on and on.

Not Lonely or Alone
Don't think you're alone
Nobody's alone in this world
If you don't have friends than God is watching you
God is watching you and protecting you everyday
God doesn't want you to feel lonely
He wants you to be happy
God might send a person who wants to be your friend to you
Why?
God knows that you're lonely and he never wants anybody to be lonely
So He sends a companion that will be by your side everyday
To make you happy, support you, and to share their kindess to you
If you think you're alone and feel lonely
Maybe I could help too
I always love to make people happy
If you don't have any friends, maybe I could be your friend
