Atlantic City
She walks the boards in Atlantic City
Oblivious to the looks of pity.
She sleeps under the boards in Atlantic City
with a cat she found. She calls it Kitty.
And across the way the casinos boom
where the high-rollin' gamblers have a room
with beds so plush, a rich man's tomb.
It's cleaned and swept with a servant's broom.
She awakens and finds a bench in Atlantic City.
She brushes away the sand from her eyes so gritty.
Once long ago she was young and pretty.
That was way before Atlantic City.
She remembers bits and pieces of way back then,
but can't put them together of how or when.
Her mind has snapped over and again
and she's become a forgotten denizen.
All that she owns are in two small bags.
All that she wears are worn out rags.
She picksup cigarette butts and takes a few drags
and walks the boards of Atlantic City.

During the Second World War, the Germans took four years to build the Atlantic Wall. On four beaches it held up the Allies for about an hour at Omaha it held up the U.S. for less than one day. The Atlantic Wall must therefore be regarded as one of the greatest blunders in military history.

I Spilled My Thoughts And Then My Soul
I spilled my thoughts and then my soul

Today
The Atlantic Ocean
Washed my thoughts
Away first
Then Afterwards
The Atlantic Ocean washed my thoughts

Until The End
With no regrets for moments gone
Or the things we left behind since the beginning
We have come a long way
We know the dreams we had were much too much
But we must keep in mind that what we did
We did in our own way
So, we have to break down the walls
And let ourselves out
We have to take a stand and try to be strong
If this is what we really want then there can be no doubt
This is no place for us, we got to move on
We gotta win this war together
We will fight until the end of the world
We gotta keep it up forever
We will fight until the end of the world
Til the end....
We have to use our a.d.d.*
So we can cruise around the flow
Then we will see that there are brighter times to come
Now we must set the world on fire,
We cant be afraid to go
We got the atmosphere we know where its from
So, we have to break down the walls
And let ourselves out
We have to take a stand and try to be strong
If this is what we really want then there can be no doubt
This is no place for us, we got to move on
We gotta win this war together
We will fight until the end of the world
We gotta keep it up forever
We will fight until the end of the world
Til the end....
Bound to hit soon
Until the end of the world
Until the end of the world
We gotta win this war together
(until the end of the world)
We gotta keep it up forever
(until the end of the world)

Freedom
Out in the South Atlantic
Our brave men go
To fight for peace and freedom
Against a hidden foe With ships and planes they sail the sea
In freedom for the world to see
Our hearts and prayers with them go out
Till peace at last we'll hear them shout Long days and nights on icy lands
The British men now withstands
The bombing raids and missiles too
Fighting for the likes of me and you God Bless you one and all I say
Your fight for freedom be not delayed
And when again once more you come
Back home again your job well done *written at the beginning of the Falklands War

A genocide in Africa has not received the same attention that genocide in Europe or genocide in Turkey or genocide in other part of the world. There is still this kind of basic discrimination against the African people and the African problems.

Nuptial Ode on Canada
Written during the visit of delegates from the Lower Provinces
to negotiate for confederation.
Hail Britannia's noblest daughter,
Who is surrounded by the water
Of many a lake and broad sea,
Land of Beaver and Maple Tree.
Her lofty brow is wreathed with smiles,
For, from the far Atlantic isles
In pomp, have come their delegates,
All seeking to unite their fates
With Canada, great Northern Queen.
And now, throughout the land, is seen
High festival and stately dance,
Triumphant nuptials to advance.
And soon shall Red River valley
And distant Vancouver, rally
To form this empire gigantic,
From Pacific to Atlantic.

A Gala Celebration
Sound the trumpets, beat the drums
for across the Atlantic
Five Felicians have come.
"What is their mission?"
You gently say:
"Why have they come to our USA?" To Polonia, Wisconsin
then o'er the USA.
The Felicians were asked
to lead the way.
By setting up schools and Day-Care Centers
Homes for the Aged
For many to enter. From the Atlantic to the Pacific
You'll find them today,
Orphanages, schools
and homes for the stray.
In an effort to provide
A better Life's way. Let's celebrate then in great Jubilee
their 125th Anniversary
Reaching out to the Polish Immigrants
in responding to Papal consent
At Father Dabrowski's request, they were lent.

Flee Babylon
The Lord our God, He lights our path
In the way that we must go
And the world is tossed by every wave
The wind it blows it to and fro
Stand up, stand up for Jesus
That is our clarion call
As the world begins to crumble
And the walls begin to fall
Why should we fear the darkness?
Why should we fear the light?
Wake up ye sleepy Christians
It's time to stand and fight
We bear the armor of the Lord
Let's step into the fray
Come now and fight while there's still light
And walk while its yet day
For fast the night approaches
With murder in its hand
The gates of hell have come to see
That we no longer stand
And even though they spill our blood
And victory they will hail
And all around be darkness
The gates shall not prevail
For Christ in all His glory
Will come and fill the sky
You'll hear the trumpet blowing
You'll hear the angel cry
Behold the King of glory
He's in His battle dress
And every knee on earth shall bow
And every tongue confess
Tha Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords
And He is King of kings
All glory to Emmanuel
Is what the angel sings

Mother Nature Steals
It’s front page news: Mother Nature steals
sand by the lorry-load from a Cornish beach:
Tons of the golden quartz are carried off
each year by the delinquent sea.
Dark undercurrents and unruly tides
with storms and freak waves vandalize
the coastline and demolish concrete walls
gratuitously. Surely, there must be a law
to stop the unkempt waters, to prevent
this savage onslaught of the elements!
While sand disappears, exposing ugly rocks,
Steadily the flow of tourists drops.
Unperturbed, the Atlantic gnaws away
At the cliffs around Mount’s Bay,
changing the appearance of
our favourite Beauty Spots,
eroding roads, hindering motorists,
this is bad for business!
We won’t have it, we fight back
keeping Nature well in check.
If that means more concrete walls –
so be it, for One and All!

Air France Plane Crash Mystery!
Air France plane crashed into Atlantic Ocean
Flying from Brazil to France near an island!
From the Southern to the Northern hemisphere
It was a risky air travel for many on the ocean.
Even advanced operating systems can’t cope with
The sudden lightning and thunder storm in the sky!
Nature seems cannot be vanquished by Science at all!
Technological advancement is nothing before Nature.
Missing plane was a mystery both for France and Brazil!
Lightning falling on the electrical system exploded plane;
It was believed and reported in both the countries first.
But what actually happened nobody will know forever!
4200m the Atlantic Ocean has depth there it was found;
Going so deep and searching plane and other matters
Seems to be very difficult and impossible venture still!
So, this misfortune leads to think about other mysteries.
Planes and ships vanishing near the Caribbean islands
Some years ago without any clue became a big puzzle!
No traces of such happenings were unearthed so far and
That famous Bermuda Triangle mystery still continues!
Not only in Atlantic Ocean but also in Pacific Ocean area
In a spot called Devil Cave the danger of such like things
Also have been noted by the observers of ocean mysteries
Making South China Sea famous for that in the mystery list!

My Groupie
I read last Saturday in the
redwoods outside of Santa Cruz
and I was about 3/4's finished
when I heard a long high scream
and a quite attractive
young girl came running toward me
long gown & divine eyes of fire
and she leaped up on the stage
and screamed: "I WANT YOU!
I WANT YOU! TAKE ME! TAKE
ME!"
I told her, "look, get the hell
away from me."
but she kept tearing at my
clothing and throwing herself
at me.
"where were you," I
asked her, "when I was living
on one candy bar a day and
sending short stories to the
Atlantic Monthly?"
she grabbed my balls and almost
twisted them off. her kisses
tasted like shitsoup.
2 women jumped up on the stage
and
carried her off into the
woods.
I could still hear her screams
as I began the next poem.
mabye, I thought, I should have
taken her on stage in front
of all those eyes.
but one can never be sure
whether it's good poetry or
bad acid.
