Like Poetry in Motion

Like poetry in motion,
You glide through my thoughts-
Numb my body-
Ripple my mind-
Engross my heart-
Leaving footprints on my soul

Like poetry in motion
You have me guessing the next line
The next verse
The next stanza of this unity
Rippling my mind
Enthralling my heart
Leaving footprints on my soul

Like poetry in motion…
You move me.

Take me to heights…

Speak to me…

Show me what it is you want me to see
All the solace and tribulations
All that’s unjust and righteous

Like poetry in motion…
You move me.

A smile that never leaves me you’re is one I cherish
As words to a poet
Notes to a musician
Paint to a painter

Like poetry in motion…

Move me.

Poetry In Motion

When my world is dark, I must only think of you
Your poetry in motion, in everything you do
Like the ocean waves caressing the sand
Fluid and sleek from head to toe
Your poetry in motion
Do you know
The way your eyes sparkle
Celestial
Divine
She’s poetry in motion
Angelic kind
The way the Sun shines thru your dress
Voluptuous hips
Full silhouette
Your poetry in motion
Aphrodite in flesh

Three Hits

Three hits to the heart son
And its poetry in motion
One could send you down the river
Threes a strange way to be delivered
Would you trade your words for freedom
Thats a barter for a blind man
Three hits to the heart son
And its poetry in motion
Are you leveed like a treasure
Only words can help me find you
And this worlds a fickle measure
I would painfully remind you
From a wise man to your red hand
You lay covered ion our best sins
Three hits to the heart son
And its poetry in motion
Well I dream you constant stranger
With your best bloods and your anger
You say mother do you claim me
My beloved do you blame me
Well the first two might release you
But the last one sings in me son
Three hits to the heart son
And its poetry in motion
Three hits to the heart son
And the last one sings in me

We Live So Fast

Please dont ask me to stay
Im leaving this town
Dont worry now
Believe me as I believe that
Luck is on my side
The future is mine
If I can find
A way through these strange days of my life
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
The streets deserted and cold
Theyre not paved with gold
But I dont care
For those who think young will still survive
Making their move
Hoping to prove
That they can face
This big city, small world, big time
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
But now I know their ways
I found my place
Saw their true face
Theres nothing to stay for so Ill go
Ill pick up the phone
Still searching for home
We life so fast
Alone but not lonely I move on
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen

At The First Light Of Day

I now create poems at daybreak
Each one has a sunshiny theme,
Capturing thoughts as soon as I wake
My text resembles a dream.
I consider friends over the ocean
As I write my poetry in motion.

Birdsong is sweet at the dawning
As I welcome the first light of day
And words overflow without warning
~ I think I have found a new way ~
Writing verse with care and devotion
The story of Poetry In Motion.

Poetry is Everywhere

To all my friends who say –
Poetry is not my cup of tea,
I’d strongly recommend that
they watch “Dead Poet’s Society”.

Poetry is in your cup of tea,
poetry is in every wave of the sea,
poetry is in the song of a bird
poetry springs forth from each of your word.

Poetry is in the smile of a baby,
poetry is in the redness of a ruby,
poetry is the union of your heart and mind
poetry teaches you to be soft and kind.

Poetry is the song of your soul,
poetry reminds you of your life’s goal,
poetry is in a game of cricket,
poetry is in the sound of a cricket.

Imagine life without poetry -
What an empty life it would be!
Imagine a world without poetry -
What a dull place it would be!

An act of poetry

Ruin is what we need –
Despair is what we feed
Upon in poetry

A shock resets the nerves –
Helps remould the curves
Of written art

Catharsis helps portray –
Acting out a play
On expurgation

Tears or hidden fears
Release the bottled years
To ink a page:

The pen be our salvation.

Poetry On The Chin

You gouged my mind's eye,
Tantalised all inner thought,
Shocked from unknown angles;
Sold me, told me cold,
Unfolded, moulded;
Shouldered any harbouring
Of empty morals.

You spun me round; undressed -
Pestered me with background riddle -
Piffle came to gleaning meaning.
And you stripped out prejudice - for none
Must exist in poetry,
Lest you close up an open mind
And f**k up as reader;
Lest your heart is not a bleeder -
It has to be - let it flush out
Upon your sleeve.

You lay apart my thinking brain
And let in the literary pickings of a
Great poetic phallus.
Yes, poetry can be callous.

It's All A Poetry In Motion

Who is that complaining 'bout what is right?
And...
Who is that justifying how to live a life?
It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live as they wish.
And do it as they should.

Who is that complaining 'bout what is right?
And...
Who is that justifying how to live a life,
One wants and chooses.
No matter who critiques,
With a wishing to approve.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live a life they wish.
And do it as they choose.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
To let live.
And live to let live.
And lives,
To let live.
No matter how that is.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live,
In the cities.
And live it in the woods.
To live,
As they wish.
With a wanting as they should.

It's all a poetry in motion in the eyes of the ones who live.

Poetry is the Divine Part of Man

Poetry haters love to make fun of the touchy-feely stuff
as though that defined who or what poetry is.

Poetry is the last time the sun gets reflected
in somebody's eyes, when they're saying goodbye-
maybe for forever.

And it's that first dropp of rain, touches the new brides veil,
blesses her; as she's lifting it off her face
for the first time, after being kissed in the marriage ceremony.

And poetry might be that bubble,
over the sink.. keeps floating away, fully intact;
even though all the laws of physics and gravity may be saying
it ought not be able to go on existing;

And poetry in motion
is a baby, trying to walk and falling down
again and again;
refusing to give up, surrender
less painful though that might be.

And poetry could even be your hand over my mouth,
because you know that I can never really say
what I am trying so hard to say;
as there's another form of secret communication
connects soul directly to soul,
without confusing or complicated words.

And that is some of the invisible poetry,
lives in the eyes, the hands; the heart of the mind;
and all the hidden, inner recesses of a human being; and even though
something may be a form of poetry for one; it may not be for another.

Finally, if you balled up the emotions together, and then just threw them up
into the open air, not knowing where they might come down, or even if;
this too, could be one of the purest forms of poetry.

My words could go on flowing forever, like a stream, and that could be poetry;
or they might stop without warning and

Poetry...Poetry...
Poetry is in the beginning of new life,
Poetry is in the tears of a child,
Poetry is in the warmth of mother's kiss,
Poetry is in the child's bliss,
Poetry is in the hug of a father,
Poetry is in the love of a dear,
Poetry is in the happiness of affection,
Poetry is in the pain of separation,
Poetry is in someone's loss,
Poetry is in missing someone very close.

Poetry...Poetry...

Poetry is in the first rain,
Poetry is in the cultivation of first grain,
Poetry is in the first light of dawn,
Poetry is in the drops of dew o the grass of lawn,
Poetry is in the blowing of cool wind,
Poetry is in the beauty of green,
Poetry is in the twinkling star,
Poetry is in the aroma of a flower,
Poetry is in thunder and lightning,
Poetry is in the heat scorching.

Poetry...Poetry...

Poetry is something more sweeter than sweet,
Poetry is something more closer to heart beat,
Poetry is something more than the most beautiful creation,
Poetry is something more than the depth of an ocean,
Poetry is something more higher than the blue,
Poetry is something more true,
Poetry is something more enjoyable than wine,
Poetry is something more shiner than sunshine,
Poetry is something more pure than air,
Poetry is something which is present everywhere.

Poetry...Poetry...

Poet ry is not just rhyme,
Poetry is but the voice Divine,
Poetry is not just Poetry,
Poetry frames History,
After so many lines,
Poetry still remains undefined.

Poetry Is

Poetry is when she wakes up with a smile on her angel face and says thank you for watching over my breathe all night, its when I hold her and she says I miss missing you even when I’m right there next to her.

Her EYES are the mother of poetry, one of a kind, her SMILE is the goddess of poetry, rare and beautiful, her VOICE is the heaven of poetry, so sweet and gentle.

When she loves me she does so with all the poetry she has inside her, , , everything about her is poetry, her poetry speaks to me without saying anything, it touches me without holding me, it makes me feel even without her near me
SHE IS POETRY IN MY SOUL, IN MY MIND, IN MY HEART.

Ode To Poetry

Poetry is the best thing since coming out of the womb
Because if I didn't come out of the womb
I wouldn't know about poetry

Poetry's in motion like a freight train
Moving it's words through interpretation
By what we see from what one has written
It can be raw or it can have finesse
Either way it is art

The art of thought
And the art of language
Words speaking of twisted pains
And unraveling beauties
Forgotten love
Or someones duty

I must proclaim my love for poetry
And for the love of everyone else's
Because poetry is much better
Than almost anything else

I Dont Write Poetry!

i dont write poetry...
i sweat poetry, i drink poetry,
i breathe poetry, i make love to poetry,
i fight poetry, i eat poetry,
i bleed poetry, i crap poetry...
too often i betray poetry,
sometimes i dropp poetry.
once i tripped over poetry,
got angry and kicked poetry.
i rocked poetry on a sleepless night,
i buried poetry on the hill...
i lived poetry, for i am poetry...

no, i dont write poetry,
but poetry writes me!

Motion & Heart

Everything is as it should be
From motion and heart to the scenery
From make do and mend to the new paris trend
You said that you learnt but it happens again
Whats a heart that refuses to be
Fortunes gained lost on the street
I couldnt believe this would happen again
The things you said and I called you my friend
Each time we tried we failed as before
>from laissez faire to the knock on the door
But everything is as it should be
When you give your heart to me
From mo mo mo mo motion and heart
To heart heart heart heart heart and move
From mo mo mo mo motion and heart
To heart heart heart heart heart and move

A Definition of Poetry by a 15 yr old

Poetry does not need a meaning or defintion.
Poetry is how the reader reads it,
Poetry is how the poet writes it.
Poetry is real,
Poetry is fake,
Poetry is everything,
Poetry is fate.
Poetry is rythm.
Poetry can ryme.
Poetry is anything, I make it mine.

The Loco-motion

Everybodys doin a brand new dance now.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
I know youll get to like it if you give it a chance now.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
My little baby sister can do it with ease,
Its easier than learnin your abcs.
So, come on, come on, and do the loco-motion with me.
Youve got to swing your hips now,
Oooo ...
Come on,
Oooo ...
Come on.
Jump up,
Oooo ...
Jump up.
Jump back,
Oooo ...
Jump back.
Oh, well, I think youve got the knack.
Oooo ...
Woah ... woah.
Now that you can do it, well, lets make a chain now.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
A chuga-chuga motion like a railroad train, now.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
Do it nice and easy now, and dont lose control,
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul,
So, come on, come on, and do the loco-motion with me.
Woah ... woah.
Move around the floor in a loco-motion.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
Do it holdin hands ifn you get the notion.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
Theres never been a dance thats so easy to do,
It even makes you happy when youre feelin blue.
So, come on, come on, and do the loco-motion with me.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
So, come on, come on, and do the loco-motion with me.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
So, come on, come on, and do the loco-motion with me.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.
Come on baby, do the loco-motion.

A Poem in Mime

The poetry is in the mime
It has the perfect metre
Such an immaculate rhyme
There is none greater

All in the movement
Although it’s not on a page
Maybe an improvement
Poetry that doesn’t age

Poetry without a word
What a clever notion
It’s not that absurd
It’s all in the motion

A sign of the times
Not like the old days
Poetry without rhymes
Expressed in different ways

Poetry is looking,
at a flower and,
seeing the beauty
hidden within.

Poetry is bringing
out love, deep in
your heart, telling
your love one how you feel.

Poetry is feeling
a cool breeze
as you lie in an open
field, so deep in thought.

Poetry is seeing
the beauty of soft
fluffy white clouds
as no one else does.

Poetry is hearing
sounds of nature
soaking it all in
to mind and soul.

Poetry is watching and
standing by river's edge
seeing rippling water
flowing to places unknown.

Poetry is gazing at
rolling hills stretching
as far, as the eye
can see.

Poetry is digging
deep into inter feelings
bringing it out
and exposing it.

Poetry is love
Poetry is feelings
Poetry is seeing
Poetry is what you are.
