L.i.f.e
L - Is for the
Chance your mother gave you to live among us
So breath and take it all in
Eventually we will all win
I - Is for the
Identity we all seek
What ever you become, don’t ever be weak
F - Is for the
Freedom we all deserve and fight for
And we’ll continue forever more
E - Is for the
Energy and endurance needed to make it through this thing we call life
So let me ask you
Is it in you?
To make it all the way thru

You have a beautiful daughter
And that you know
No matter what don’t let her go!
She’s as sweet as the sweetest fruit
And lets not forget she’s cute
A smile as bright as sunshine
Although she does tend to wine
She’s as smart, as smart can be
And a darling to everyone she sees
Playful as a clown
And she hardly ever wears a frown
Proud is what you must be
At least that’s what I see
Your eyes says it all
That you love your pretty little doll

She Stole Me
She stole me, my identity
My personality
What I live for, What I breath for,
What I'd fight for, what I'd die for.
You told them it was your idea
You lied to them about your taste
The way you dressed
The way you wore your hair
The way you did your make-up
She stole my, my identity
My personality
What I live for, What I breath for
What I'd fight for, what I'd die for
I met a guy, who knew her from school
We dated for a while
He mentioned you a lot
It seemed he asked you first and you rejected him
he hurt me; he caused me pain; because of you
She stole my, my identity
My personality
What I live for, What I breath for
What I'd fight for, what I'd die for
All i know, is that i am me
You are you
You can never be me
I can never be consumed by you
It won't work, even though....
She stole my, my identity
My personality
What I live for, What I breath for
What I'd fight for, what I'd die for

Identity Of I
Identity is not what I promise others
Identity is what I do when I am alone
Identity is what I think of others
Knowing all the hatred they've shown
Identity is what every wound reminds me
Identity is what I learn and what I pass by
Identity is what I see in the mirror
After giving my best try
Identity is what I make out of my given chance
Identity is what I accept and what I deny
No one else has control over me
Life is about me, and what I identify

I've gotten very good at scheduling my life, scheduling the scene and preparing myself for knowing, saving the energy, consuming the energy, knowing when to go for it and having the available reserves to be able to do that. You have to think about that, because it's endurance.

Identity of a person
Identity of a person
Identity signifies complexity
Identity identifies with reality
Identity is the bearer of all vanity
How does a person identify with identity?
You define yourself based on what?
They say, they say
You’re kind or moral based on what?
Or
You’re a genius and shrewd based on what?
Or
You make the perfect lover, look for no other
They say, they say
You’re strong without a thought it may not last long
Or
You’ve skills since with a record you run up high bills
Or
You are shy but no one ever talks to you or says hi
Or
You never give up because right now you are on top
They say, they say
You are generous or gregarious when all you are is conscious
Or
You’re innovative yet not the originator of the idea conceived
What are the facts?
That makes your identity intact
When change on identity has the last impact?

A Mother's Love!
A mother's love is never faltering.
A mother's love is never halting.
A mother's judgement is never erring.
A mother's dream is to supply all needs.
A mother's goal is to instill good deeds.
A mother's commitment, is to the one, that
she loves!
A mother's reward is thanks, for all of
the aboves!
This mother says 'she will always protect
you all your life'...'Just to see that there is
no danger or strife'.'For a sharing of love
is my duty to you'...'Your happiness, i'll
guarantee to make, you safe and true! '
'I'll kiss those owie's to make them not hurt'...
'I'll buy you nice things for school, maybe new
shoes and a shirt.' 'My love will stay forever
and ever'...'To you i'll never say never! '
'My love for you shall never fade'...'And
that's the promise that i've made! '

Too Much Freedom
If we were to stay anonymous
And our need for identity be forgotten
Then life would have too much freedom
And end in its own destruction
For anonymity leads to
Self expression
Of the most extreme
For their freedom fears not
The eternal cell of scrutiny
For their is no face to judge
And confine its uncontrollable
Laugh from the face of mankind
To be free from the curse of identity
Is to be cursed with freedom
For too much freedom
Leads to too much power
And a 'Common Power' at that.
For conflicting ideas
Of freedom and voice
Would choose to eliminate
Hindrances by its own hand
Without the ordered hand of identity
For a faceless man
Is a man without shame
And doth be invisible
For his own expression may threaten
The expression of others
A darkened shade
Placed across the world by total freedom
Will forever mask the anonymous
For their actions can not be traced
To the identity that had given breath to it.

My Present I Give To You
*written for my friend kathy*
from the day i met you,
there was something about you,
you made me feel safe,
like it was my mother talking from you,
you gave me the hope,
to make it to where i am today,
i won't forget,
your words you said,
that i will be somebody who will succeed,
through my problems,
and make a difference in the world,
you believed in me,
when people were becoming sick of me,
for the way i was thinking,
as if it was a bad thing,
we are all human being,
aren't we surpose to make mistakes?
there not a day,
i think it should be my last,
niether should you,
i believe in you,
like you did for me,
you made me into a different person,
because you believed in me,
you showed me my life had meaning,
you given me the power to make it,
where i am today,
i just wish you can open your eyes and see,
what kind of a person you are,
great, sweet and caring,
than you can see why i say it's a blissing,
to have gotten to meet you,
and get through my problem as you, my friend,
because this is not the end,
god won't let his gift go,
he will fight to keep you as long as he think you should,
don't fight the power,
you'll make it through this,
with that said,
this is my present to you,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ! !
may your dreams come true.

Happy Mother's Day Mom
you were more than i could've asked for,
you gave me everything plus more,
because of you,
i'm the person you wanted me to be,
even thought you not here,
i know you near,
keeping me safe,
and getting me through rough times,
i know you always there to cheer me on,
no matter what i plan on doing,
i just know,
you just more proud that i give it a chance,
because of you,
i try everyday to push through and live my life,
to make everyday the way i want,
because of you,
i realize that you were the best mother,
i couldn't ask for anyone better,
for the time we got to spend together,
is just priceless,
that why i'm left here saying,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY,
I LOVE YOU! ! ! ! !

Stand And Fight
Why don’t you just fight before you fall?
Watching won’t do nothing at all.
Come out of the shadows into the light,
If you want your rights you gotta fight,
Make your presence known to those you oppose,
Make your stand before you fall!
Why don’t you just sing it loud and proud?
Stand tall shout it to the crowd.
Discrimination like this is wrong,
If you want your rights you gotta be strong,
Make your presence known to those you oppose,
Make a stand before you fall.
So many things could be different,
So many things, so easy to change.
Who-ever you are,
Where-ever you may be.
Why should we be treated
According to race and gender and clique?
You know that it’s true,
We all deserve the same.
No matter how small your effort,
No matter how quiet your voice,
As long as you stand up for what is right,
We’ll keep moving forwards into the future.
Why don’t you just fight before you fall?
Watching won’t do nothing at all.
Come out of the shadows into the light,
If you want your rights you gotta fight,
Make your presence known to those you oppose,
Make your stand before you fall!

Fear Of Chance
I’m afraid
I fear the chance
To get into your pants
But
I don’t fear the chance
To show off my lance
I guess
What I fear is the dance
A dance
That may turn out to be a romance
So
I won’t show you my lance
Because
I won’t have a chance
To keep up the romance
Cause
I see it in their faces
Hear it in their voices
I hear the disgrace
That you might face
For
Loving the black race

Same Mistake Twice
Its one thing to make the
Same mistake twice
Another thing to make it
All of your life
Its one thing to make the
Same mistake twice
Another thing to make it
All of your life
The more you strengthen your denial
The more you turn to your desire
Na na na na
Appetite fight youll beat it yet
Na na na na
By hook or by crook on that I would bet
Just hang on in there
Its one thing to make the
Same mistake twice
Another thing to make it
All of your life
Lost in a barrel of wine and whining
Snared in a trap of your own designing
Dont be so sure
Nobody knows when it will end
Dont be so sure
Wouldnt I speak up if Im a true friend
Just hang on in there
Its one thing to make the
Same mistake twice
Another thing to make it
All of your
Life, your life
Another detail just goes by
Fallen into the abyss that has become your life
Its one thing to make the
Same mistake twice
Another thing to make it
All of your life
All of your life

What Have I Done To Deserve This?
(lowe/willis/tennant)
------------------------------------
You always wanted a lover
I only wanted a job
Ive always worked for my living
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
I come here looking for money
(got to have it)
And end up living with love, oh, oh
Now you left me with nothing
(cant take it)
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
I bought you drinks, I brought you flowers
I read you books and talked for hours
Every day, so many drinks
Such pretty flowers, so tell me
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I ...
Since you went away Ive been hanging around
Ive been wondering why Im feeling down
You went away, it should make me feel better
But I dont know, oh
How Im gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
You always wanted me to be something I wasnt
You always wanted too much, oh, oh
Now I can do what I want to - forever
How am I gonna get through?
How am I gonna get through?
At night, the people come and go
They talk too fast, and walk too slow
Chasing time from hour to hour
I pour the drinks and crush the flowers
What have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
What have i, what have i, what have I ...
Since you went away Ive been hanging around
Ive been wondering why Im feeling down
You went away, it should make me feel better
But I dont know, oh
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (tell me)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (baby)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
How Im gonna get through? (yeah)
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through?
Gonna get through?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Im gonna get through, right?
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont have to fall apart, we dont have to fight
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont need to go to hell and back every night
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
You never ever left me, baby, think of me...
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Oh, babe
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont have to fall apart, we dont have to fight
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
We dont need to go to hell and back every night
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, baby, Im gonna get
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Forever
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, baby, yeah,
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?
Gonna get through, get through, baby, ooh
What have i, what have i, what have I done to deserve this?

I Am That Glorious Nothing, In Everyone and Everything!
It is dawn for me,
dawn of a life,
at dusk of my life,
Neither its a new life
nor its the old one,
When everything is destiny and fate,
Why I have to wish and will,
If Gods gave me something,
That took back with interest,
God is lovable lender of pressure
as well as pleasure,
Takes more than gave
and one's pain and loses of freedom
are the compound interest paid!
Prayer with desires and ambitions,
Succeeded only to make me prey to more desires!
Every heart is full of love,
And that it filled with Life's love,
And it make one
love the life!
Life's own turns,
Depends on the path destined,
Radius of the path make all difference!
Sometimes it flows like a river, dives deep,
Or has more depth, where it flow slow,
Sometimes fast where depth is low!
Life is a like river for the one who destined to flow down to ocean,
But life is not river to one has seen ocean everywhere,
Life doesn't flow,
Only it is flow of energy from higher potential to lower potential,
From youth to old age,
From freedom to bondage of senses and deeds!
Think Ramdas, Think of that great Truth,
Where there is one neither born nor die,
Only dream and sigh!
From that nothingness,
Nothing I brought,
To that nothingness I can't take anything,
Whatever looks like this thing, that thing,
Everything is nothing
for this nothing, neither came nor go,
I am neither a glacier to melt and flow,
nor I am rock to stay here!
I must go before I want to know myself,
I want to die in my ownself,
Before I can live unto my own
nature!
I never want win anything,
As my win is not my win,
And I have neither one to win,
Nor something to win,
As I amthat everything in nothing
And that glorious nothing among everyone and everything!

Regrets
I have done things wrong,
I will never forget.
But I cannot live,
A life of regret.
I am not a bad person.
But I have done bad things.
When a guitar gets broken,
You can change it's strings.
Life can be a song.
You can choose to dance.
Or you can sit in a corner.
And not take a chance.
It can be an adventure.
It can just be mundane.
You can dress it all up.
Or just leave it plain.
You can live for the moment.
You can live in the past.
You can live for tomorrow.
Or all you've amassed.
You can live for it's gifts.
You can live for it's treasures.
You can live for it's pain.
Or live for it's pleasures.
You can live it for Jesus.
Or live it for you.
You can live it for everyone.
Or just for a few.
And when it all,
Comes to an end.
Will you feel it's been true?
Or just been pretend.
Will you feel like you gave it,
Gave it your best.
Or did just what you had to.
Like all of the rest.
Did you make a difference?
Or did you blend in.
Did you look forward to where you were going?
Or stuck where you'd been?
Did you take life by the horns?
Or did it take you?
When things got real tough?
Just what did you do?
Did you sit in a corner?
Did you mope, did you cry?
Did you simply give up?
Did part of you die?
Did you fight the good fight?
Did you give it your best?
Did you go through your journey?
And complete your quest.
So live for the moment.
And never forget.
Don't let life shape you.
By what you regret.
