Jungles of Green
Jungles of Green many have seen
Jungles of Concrete few have seen
But when the few see what the many have seen
They wonder
Where had they been

A Pair Of Sparrows!
A pair of twittering sparrows I see;
What a great wonder sparrows are!
Due to constructions of concrete jungles
Sparrows are driven out farther and farther!
So, they take shelter in high way trees;
Even those trees are cut for laying highways
And the sparrows are driven out still far away!
What kind of guys are they who take shelter
Under the trees in summer time but not
Think of pouring even a dropp of water to it?
Extension of concrete jungles destroys trees
And drives away a few sparrows too forever!
Is this called progress in the modern world?
Or is this a harbinger of apocalypse of the whole?

Dappled Dusk
She is the blue of the blue bird
I am the darkness lurching
The sullen holes where rain gets in
Razor streets where death hunts
Friends with their names on walls
Gone forever yet the gunrunners smile
Governments make bad decisions
Jungles filled with heroin
Jungles of alcoholics
Jungles of the used and set-aside
Happiness sometimes seems illusive
I hope we make it as a couple
We walk on this fine late fall day
Dappled dusk reminds me of war

Strange And Disturbing!
Strange and disturbing!
In the jungles;
Where large animals devour small animals.
Four, devour!
Under the age old survival of the fittest rule;
Sour, devour!
The potter and the clay,
To study it;
Like the sand of the sea!
Variabel,
Pour, devour!
Available,
Traditions! !
Gentle,
Gentiles,
Of peace;
Obtained!
But, under the age old survival of the fittest rule;
And like an exciting time with the muse of the jungles.

Blue and Yellow!
The creeper slowly climbs with slender tentacles,
The moisture of love that feed and flow with no obstacle,
Under the cold shine and hot rain, you and me,
Lessons felt, shared, absorbed and created,
The green grass under the ocean of salinity,
Where the green turtles feast frantically,
Velvety meadows to the distance eye can see,
Where the cattle and horses nibble the young leaves,
Colors of rainbows shaded on the grains, fruits and vegetables,
Where the machine and human toil to reap the sweat of our union,
You are the light and I am the universal solvent,
When the love between us is disturbed and destroyed,
What can they do with barren land and concrete jungles?

In Search for the Light of Day
Stranded in a corner
And run up a tree
There's no secure place
For the likes of me
Searching the concrete highways
The Asphalt Jungles of Whim
All i find is most disturbing
Something scary and totally grim
Feels like i am on a witch hunt
Like i need to bathe off this curse
I am pushed again into a corner
While attempting to complete this verse
Got to wash the dirt fom the city off
Before i become totally undone
Upset and bleeding within
I so need the light from the sun

Hey.. My Lies!
Hey..my lies!
Where are your confluences
With my words?
Is it in the jungles of my mind?
Or in the caves of my throat?
Or at the oar of my tongue?
Or else on the mounds of my lips?

The Wind's Journey
Winds blowing from the east
Transplanted scents into the west,
Wandered into jungles of concrete wall,
Struggling to fit in cranny nooks of tall
Structures, that hastens its journey through
Man-made woods – a jungle of towers blew
And drove the wind from western grey mist,
Back to the east, refresh and crisply blest,
While easterly mist touched the west wind
And blow forth again to trees and leaves of green
From east to the west its circular route dawdle
Wanting to re-touch thus lingered to mingle
Attempting to refine a wind made stale
By man’s rancorous ill will, east wind’s wail
The west wind wavered, intertwined forever
To retouch and refresh the earth’s dwindling fresh air

Thats What I Think
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming
Sometimes I think
I dont know what Ill do
But I forget the world
And everything around me
Thats what I think
When I think about you
The streets are filled
With too many babies
Black air in a sky of blue
People pass by
No life in their eyes
The concrete jungles
Really going crazy
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming...
The rent is due
And the pockets are empty
People ask machines
For the truth
No crystal ball
Can help see it all
But where we gonna find
The dreams to feed the babies
Baby life goes on
Thats what people say
But Im nowhere
If you go away
Id just be looking
For a brighter day
Sometimes I think
Things are overwhelming...
What can I do
Forget about the world
And everything around me
Thats what I think
When I think about you

Rumi Jelaluddin, come again
Rumi, what ink did you dip your pen in
When you wrote those wonderful poems?
Ambrosia from heaven? Honey fresh from bee-hives?
Your words sooth parched throats and sweeten even poisoned tongues
Rumi, come again, we need you now.
Science solving Nature's many a mystery
In the process, minds losing their mystic insights
Souls drowning in seas of technology
Mass media desensitizing human hearts
Concrete jungles crushing all sensibilities
Greed growing exponentially for possessions
Humanity heading towards its own destruction
Rumi come again, we need your sufi pearls
To awaken our sleeping souls

Head Over Heals
I have a very good friend
The kind of girl who likes to follow a trend
She has a personal style
Some people like it, others tend to go wild
You hear her voice everywhere
Taking the chair
She's a leading lady
And with no trace of hesitation she keeps going
Head over heels
Breaking her way
Pushing through unknown jungles every day
She's a girl with a taste for the world
(The world is like a playing-ground where she goes rushing)
Head over heels
Setting the pace
Running the gauntlet in a whirl of lace
She's extreme, if you know what I mean
Her man is one I admire
He's so courageous but he's constantly tired
Each time when he speaks his mind
She pats his head and says, "That's all very fine
Exert that will of your own
When you're alone
Now we'd better hurry"
And with no trace of hesitation she keeps going
Head over heels
Breaking her way
Pushing through unknown jungles every day
She's a girl with a taste for the world
(The world is like a playing-ground where she goes rushing)
Head over heels
Setting the pace
Running the gauntlet in a whirl of lace

(The world is like a playing-ground where she goes rushing)
Head over heels
Setting the pace
Running the gauntlet in a whirl of lace
She's extreme, if you know what I mean
(She's just one of those who always has to do whatever she please)
And she goes
Head over heels

Are you experienced enough to take me through? !
For i am the one who want to be with you in the jungles of love!
So stay calm with me and let me lead you on smoothly;
For the night is near and i need love from you my lover!

Wars are for Winning
They war on us to give keys and secrets,
They war on us for reasons and with treasons.
They war on us to shake a fist or beat a bone,
They war on us to condemn and to destroy.
They war on us for every wrong season and for all the destruction!
They war on us from the deserts and the jungles, such is their deceit,
And such is their war on us!

You Have No Shortfalls!
You are as perfect as the sun, to wake up every day,
And To rest every night in the quietness of dark rays,
You have no shortfalls to concern, but you have treasure,
That is stored safely in each and every cell of the divine shelter,
The shortfalls and inadequacies are created by the mortals,
You have the divine body to keep clean and display as portals,
Ignore the gossip of the weak, that tries to collapse your Citadel,
Stand tall and be happy as you have no shortfalls, as visuals,
You can run fast and take rest as you desire,
These jungles, made of trees and concrete, are ours,
Go out and play with the rain, snow and the cheating moon,
Babies are there to watch, oldies are there to catch for wise fun,
Youngsters are there to print the genes of new generations,
So you have no shortfall, as you are among any one of them.
