I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone
I recommend walking around naked in your living room
Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles

I asked God for Wisdom, He said: NO
You have to learn from every experience and maybe you'll find your own.
I asked God for Health and Healing. He said: NO
You'll have to take the best care of your body, know that nobody can help, specially if you do everything in your power to destroy it.
I asked God for Wealth. He said: NO
You have to learn what you think comes to you. Never dwell on poorness, waste, credit card abusing, but learn to be grateful for what you have now that you could deserve more later.

Pessimism for Babies
When we are born, we hysteric'lly cry.
We scream—torn from the womb in discontent.
In death, it is said, we'll fin'lly learn why.
No matter the calmant the doctor tries,
A guttural growl bellows as we vent.

Almost Competent
Too old to learn, I don't think so
Old dogs can learn to do new tricks
Although the process may be slow.
Once they grasp it, it will stick.
