It Will Come
The night will come
So we can wear
Ours Costume
For Halloween
The day will come
So we can open
Ours Christma's Presents
For Christmas
The day will come
So we can hunt
Ours Easter Eggs
For Easter
The day will come
So we can graduate
From Middle School
For Graduation's day

White Angel the Easter Rabbit
Out of a lovely fantasy…..,
She appeared one Springtime day…..,
And made our world……,
So happy in every way……,
It was a vision so wondrous……,
As we colored our eggs…..,
For the Easter Holiday
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
Brought sunshine to our lives…..,
When it came to joy we had it…..,
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
She’d hop, hop, hop….,
All day long…..,
Be dancin’ around……,
And singin’ a song…..,
As Easter came so merrily…..,
She was so much fun for us to see……,
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
Brought sunshine to our lives…..,
Lovin’ her was a tireless habit……,
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
But poof just like each night and day……,
Her visit soon had to end …..,
So she hop, hop, hopped on her way……,
Off to visit her fairytale friends……,
As we sadly bid farewell to her…….,
She said, “Come on now, don’t cry…..,
I’ll be back again some Easter Day”…..,
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
Brought sunshine to our lives…..,
When it came to joy we had it…..,
White Angel, The Easter Rabbit…..,
Pure white gold in 24 karat…..,

A Healthier Easter
This is the first Easter
No candy baskets will be here
But we had so many baskets
Each and every year.
The kids are older now
Candy they don’t want anymore
So this Easter the baskets sit empty
Behind the closet door.
Somehow I want the Easter Bunny here
Want those baskets filled with eggs so bright
But my teens want to be healthier
So they make sure that they eat right.
They forfeit sugar and junk
No more Peeps or a big chocolate bunny
But being without Easter Baskets on Easter
Seems to be very odd and funny.
So I am putting the word out
To the Easter Bunny in my town
That I don’t think the teens will mind
If you decide to come around.
Maybe you could leave some health bars
Perhaps some fruit and veggies too
And maybe you could put some books in there
Those things could still say “I love you”.

The Real Reason
I'm going to tell you something you might consider funny
But Easter isn't all about the hip hoppity bunny
NOr is at about candy and all those other sweets
And the eggs in the basket and other fun treats
Now listen close to what I have to say
And you'll know why we celebrate this day
Easter tells us how much God's love costs
And how He wants to gather in the lost
It was on the cross Christ died for our sin
So those who believed now to heaven enter in
Yes, God so loved the world that He gave His Son
So victory over death could now be won
On Easter morning Christ rose from the dead
The story's not over, there's much more to be said
yes, it's okay to enjoy the bunny, the candy and sweets
The eggs in the basket and the other fun treats
Just remember that Christ's resurrection is the real reason
That we celebrate the Easter season
Easter's Past
Sitting in Church
Listening to sermons
With white patent leather shoes
A fancy dress and little white gloves
With a new purse,
My brothers all dressed
In nice shirts and pants,
My mom dressed up like a movie star
With her beautiful dress and hat,
My step dad who never cared for church
He even dressed up for the day.
And in our pockets
Were chocolate eggs and jelly beans
We were told not to take to church
But we couldn’t help it.
I would peek at my brothers
Sneaking candy out of their pockets
And when mom wasn’t looking
I would sneak some out of my purse,
And slowly let the chocolate egg
Dissolve in my mouth
I couldn’t let her see me chewing
Not in church!
We would come home
Have an egg hunt
That we enjoyed so much
That we all would hide the eggs again
Ourselves
Then we had a nice big Easter dinner
Maybe even play monopoly
While eating more Easter candy.
I know the holiday was about Jesus
Being resurrected
I had spent many years
In classes learning these things
But somehow Easter
Just reminds me more of
Family togetherness and love
And visits from the Easter Bunny
And I don’t think Jesus would mind that at all.

Easter Parade
In your easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
Youll be the grandest lady in the easter parade.
Ill be all in clover and when they look you over,
Ill be the proudest fellow in the easter parade.
On the avenue, fifth avenue, the photographers will snap us,
And youll find that youre in the rotogravure.
Oh, I could write a sonnet about your easter bonnet,
And of the girl Im taking to the easter parade.

Happy Easter!
Palm Sunday has gone,
Holy week has begun,
The week with events
Leading to Jesus torments,
To His Resurrection,
Showing the spirits domination.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Easter Sunday today,
The greatest holiday.
We pray and say,
All around the world,
The words of love to our Lord
Showing that his death was not in vain.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
We light the candles
As a symbol of the rising sun,
And their light resembles
Jesus was really God’s Son.
The light comes back to the world
With the risen Jesus.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
The church bells ring,
The whole world sings Alleluia!
Easter eggs we bring
As a symbol of spring
With pretty small limes
Since the ancient times.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Easter Rabbits or Easter Bunny
Look today happy and sunny.
They represent a new life
Full of presents and so nice.
We wear new clothes to look the best,
We’d like to follow His behest.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
The history of Sunday Easter has a long story,
And today we proclaim Jesus Christ Day
And say: Glory to our Lord!
Glory to the King of all Christians:
Ukrainians and Indians,
Russians and Americans,
Of all those who want to live in love and peace,
Our life for better to increase.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
And…..Happy Easter!

Daddy's Bunny (2006)
The hunt is on
for Easter has begun
Many eggs to find
with candy on his mind
It's his little expedition
but assigned to a mission
enjoying the nice colors
and the insides to devour
Easter basket in shape of a car
filled with toys and candy bars
Spent his day with his mom.
with dad, tired he'd become
A visit with family members
a day full of splendor
sleepy eyes begin to show
give kiss it's time to go
Daddy's Bunny begins to sleep
with a drooling shirt as he counts sheep

Easter
Celebrating the march of spring,
Awaiting what fruitful months bring,
We honour the resurrection,
And use the time for reflection,
Children will get their chocolate fix,
And outside one can hear new born chicks,
Smiles are shared at the holiday,
With loved ones for Easter Sunday,
Family comes to the forefront,
Kids go on an Easter egg hunt,
At last it is the end of Lent,
No more in fasting are days spent,
Blessings from the Easter Bunny,
The days change from cold to sunny,
Plants begin to show their flowers,
There are ever less rain showers.

Easter Bunny
Easter Bunny
Come in a hurry
I want my Easter egg
Easter Bunny
Please don't tarry
Remember what I said
Paint my egg blue
With little brushes too
And add a little red to it
'Cause I won't mind if you did
Put my egg in the basket
With a little red ribbon
Put it in your jacket
And bring it to London

Christmas Gifts
Ten Christmas presents standing in a line;
Robert took the bicycle, then there were nine.
Nine Christmas presents ranged in order straight;
Bob took the steam engine, then there were eight.
Eight Christmas presents--and one came from Devon;
Robbie took the jackknife, then there were seven.
Seven Christmas presents direct from St. Nick's;
Bobby took the candy box, then there were six.
Six Christmas presents, one of them alive;
Rob took the puppy dog, then there were five.
Five Christmas presents yet on the floor;
Bobbin took the soldier cap, then there were four.
Four Christmas presents underneath the tree;
Bobbet took the writing desk, then there were three.
Three Christmas presents still in full view;
Robin took the checker board, then there were two.
Two Christmas presents, promising fun,
Bobbles took the picture book, then there was one.
One Christmas present--and now the list is done;
Bobbinet took the sled, and then there were none.
And the same happy child received every toy,
So many nicknames had one little boy.

Brian, what did the Bible say about Christmas, Halloween, Easter and Valentine Day? !
Read your bible again and you will know that they are condemned!
For broad is the way to destruction.

An Ode to Halloween
I am new to writing poems and I hope I can learn from all of you.
By the way, I learned how to write this kind of poem because of
An Ode to Christmas. Thank you very much!
An Ode to Halloween
When you see a child
In a costume scary and wild
You know it is Halloween.
When kids go trick-or-treats
And get lots and lots of sweets
You know it is Halloween.
When the trees give up their yellow leaves
And the dead give back their R.I.P.s
You know it is Halloween.
An Ode to scrumptious snacks
An Ode to skeletons that clack
An Ode to Dracula
An Ode to tarantulas
An Ode to Halloween
An Ode to the year’s best time
An Ode to clocks that chime
An Ode to Halloween
Yep Easters In The Air
Children are out hunting
For hidden eggs everywhere
It's that time of year again
Yep Easters In The Air
All kinds of candies
Stuffed in baskets here and there
The kids will surely be wound
Yep Easters In The Air
Painted eggs hidden in the grass
Some tucked away with care
Chilren will race to find them
Yep Easters In The Air
The Easter bunny will leave pleanty
For all the kids to share
Though some may tend to get greedy
Yep Easters In The Air
So keep your eyes wide open
And don't get greedy for your share
There will be pleanty for everyone
Yep Easters In The Air

Happy Easter
Who wants to be a rooster,
Crowing before dawn everyday.
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be a rooster,
Crowing before dawn everyday.
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be that rooster?
To strut and cluck for someone sleeping,
To get up.
And do that if programmed before the dawn shows up.
And if that rooster gets into a rut...
Who will then do the clucking?
Or wake up,
To collect the eggs!
Who wants to be a rooster,
Crowing before dawn everyday.
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be a rooster,
Crowing before dawn everyday.
Who wants to be that rooster?
Who wants to be that rooster?
To strut and cluck for someone sleeping,
To get up.
And do that if programmed before the dawn shows up.
And if that rooster gets into a rut...
Who will then do,
The clucking?
Or wake up,
To collect the eggs!
'Happy Easter'
~Do you notice anything different about those eggs? ~
'Yeah!
They are colored.
Why? '
~They are for the Easter Egg Hunt.
Put them back.~
'Oh!
I must be dreaming.
I thought I heard a rooster crow.'

Christmas Time In Half Rhyme
If christmas is for loving,
And New Year for rebirth,
Then how come every christmas time,
My heart is an open hearth,
At New Years time until Easter,
I fear the pointless ways,
But at christmas time,
I wish for passion in advent ever to remain,
So hear me out this christmas,
Let yule time last for 'er,
And i will know within my heart,
That you above have been here.

The Easter Show
The station wagon
Stood outside our house
Running on low
As we all piled out of the house
Mum and dad in the front
Older brothers and sisters
In the middle
And us little ones
Stuffed in the back
All waiting to go to
The Easter Show
All in our Sunday best
We waited patiently
As Dad locked up the house
Sister's giggling
Brothers trying to look cool
And us little ones
Jumping and shouting
HURRY UP DAD
Then mum hushing us
As dad headed towards the car
You could feel the eagerness
As we sat and waited
In anticipation of the ride
As we headed out
To the Easter Show
Then it came into view
As we all sat in awe
Of the coloured bright lights
Of the ferries wheel spinning
Of the roller coaster moving
So fast in the wind
Of the clowns in abundance
Handing out balloons
Lollipops and Candy floss
All junk food of sin
Patiently we waited
For the door to be opened
To run and have fun
At the Easter show
The best part of all
Was the laughter and fun
As from rides to machines
With glee we would run
Each of us begging
For a penny to have fun
With a smile and nod
Mum and Dad would say yes
As we shouted with glee
Onwards we ran let's have fun
In the sun at the old Easter show
Oh those were the days
Of what a rare treat for us
It came once a year
At the Easter Show

East At Easter
We go walking, hand in hand
All across the land its east at easter
People walking hand in hand
When ships are moving south it will be east at easter
We will rock you, rock you little child
We will rock you, rock you little child
All across the land its east at easter
All across the land its east at easter
Things will lighten up the sky, east at easter
Things will lighten up the sky, east at easter
Well go walking hand in hand
cause all across the land it will be east at easter
Ah, we will rock you, rock you little child
We will rock you, rock you little child
All across the land its east at easter
When ships go moving south it will be east at easter
Theyre gonna lighten up the sky
Theyre gonna lighten up the sky
Theyre gonna lighten up the sky
East at easter
Ah, well go walking hand in hand
Well go walking hand in hand, yes
We will rock you, rock you little child
We will rock you, rock you
Rock you little child
Theyre gonna lighten up the sky
When they lighten up the sky it will be east at easter
We will rock you, rock you, rock you

B.s. Pie
When the ______hits the fan
as fast -as fast as it can.
You come running,
Running, running very funny
funny like an Easter Bunny.
Now bouncing on one paw,
with other paw in the air,
your hopping high,
your hopping scared,
Gathering your lying eggs,
but they smell bad,
soon to explode in your Easter bag.
Hopping to the saint on the couch,
Saying words to flatter you come out of his pouch.
Saint laughs in his head,
he comforts you and puts you to bed.
On a bed of nails he makes you wait,
telling you what you want to hear,
making you take the bait.
Only you are the fool
for your caught in your lies,
making a mountain of B.S. Pie.
Funny you will never realize,
you've been tricked,
but your lying and thinking your slick,
thinking your the one with all the Easter chicks.

Poor Boy's Easter Day
I don't have flowers of sun
The destiny took them away and gone
Even i don't have colored eggs
At this blissful Easter days
I don't have golden combs
To comb this dirty hair of mine
And my shoes are jugged and old
And it's already Easter day to hold
My little brother's hand
And go to our old church
but how I'll go?
People will make fun of me i know
And i can hear them when they say
'Oh how a dirty grimy his hair is'
'Oh God look to his old nasty shoes'
'What is doing this poor boy here'
'Oh Tom my son don't go near
then you become infected if you go near
that beggar boy so stay here'
And at the end ill return home
To tear at my bed alone

A treasure in a basket
Laying in a wicker basket
Are varied colored Easter eggs
Surrounded by milk chocolate
And jelly beans and root beer kegs.
Exploring closer you will see
Beneath the artificial grass:
Sidewalk chalk and marshmallow bees
A squirt gun and a movie pass.
You must keep searching deeper still
Until you find all that’s concealed:
Next you’ll find a treasury bill
And coupon for a Big Mac meal.
Now my little excavator
Have a very happy Easter.
