It Trickles
It trickles
It trickles
It trickles red
This night
How weary
The light
This night
How still
How still
And red
The night.

It All Trickles Down
Theres a dragon-tail swishing behind tonight.
Poisons rising. Im up too tight.
I might not be responsible
For the things that I might do.
My tanks are full and my dogs are loose.
Bees in my bonnet. stew in juice.
Saut-simmer, shallow-fry
When it all trickles down to you.
It all trickles down.
Yes it all trickles down.
Well it all trickles down,
From me to you.
My day was rough, dont care about yours.
I put muddy feet on your polished floor.
A goose to cook, a job that im
Well qualified to do.
And it all trickles down.
Yes it all trickles down.
Well it all trickles down
From me to you.
Would be the one, would be the tea on toast.
Would be the son, would be the holy ghost.
If this is not believable
Then youve just had one too few.
Would be the mad jack to your queen of spades.
A little mac in your burger trade.
One dead-cert consequence --
It all trickles down to you.
And it all trickles down.
Yes it all trickles down.
Well it all trickles down
From me to you.
Theres a dragon-tail swishing behind tonight.
Poisons rising. Im up too tight.
I might not be responsible
For the things that I might do.
My tanks are full and my dogs are loose.
Bees in my bonnet. stew in juice.
Saut-simmer, shallow-fry
When it all trickles down to you.
It all trickles down.
Yes it all trickles down.
Well it all trickles down,
From me to you.

Think Trickles
if u think in trickles
it will just be trickles
thoughts trickling like
a trick
the mind tricks itself
on the trick of
the trickles
think about a rush of
the waters of the rain
think about a mountain
a river
an ocean
think about how wide
can this space be
how high can the sky be
how deep
can this earth be
think about you as a
speck of dust
on this universal hollowness
all things trying to fill
up this vast emptiness
to no avail,
think about you as another
insignificant atom
vibrating in random
with the rest
of this molecular world
always in flux
changing and shifting
and moving
now, u r as humble
as the leaf about to fall
from a twig
now you are as
weak as a fading sun
as gentle as the
waning moon
as silent as the star
about to die

Waiting For The Man
White light goin' messin' up my mind.
Don't you know it's gonna make me go blind.
White heat, it trickles way down to my toes.
Have mercy white light have it goodness knows.
White light goin' messin' up my brain.
White light, it's gonna drive me insane.
White heat, it trickles way down to my toes.
White light, I said now, goodness knows.
Ooo, white light.
Ooo, white heat.
Ooo, white light.
Ooo, white heat.
White light moved in me through my brain
White light gonna make-a me go insane
White light, trickled down to my toes
White light, I said now, goodness knows.
White light it lightens up my eyes
Don't you know it fills me up with surprise
White heat trickles down to my toes
White light, I'll tell you now, goodness knows.

In fact blindness speaks
Unmouth words
They come in shades of light
Specks
Trickles
Unmouth words
Now they come
From your eyes
Closed eyes
From a blindness of so much love
Unmouth your words
Let the words come
As shades of light in a dark soul
Speck of light
Trickles
Of
Feelings
Like pearls
Of teardrops
From a blindness of so much
Unmouth
It is your eyes speaking
Closed
With soft hands
Reaching
The touch
Of my heart in pain.

A Night Of Rain
wrapped with
a thick blanket
our bodies together
listening
to the whole night
rain
train of thoughts
trickles of
happy moments
intertwined

The bed warmer
All night long I lie against his body,
that firm naked flesh.
As he turns, I turn; we touch and I
caress him softly.
I warm him, comfort him,
hug him; we snuggle.
Light trickles through the curtains and
I feel him stir.
Suddenly I am thrown to the floor!
I've no voice to cry.
I feel used; dishevelled,
but I should have said,
I'm just a 12 tog duvet on
my masters bed.

My Answer To Her Letter
sorry
for not having answered your letter in understandable prose
as it will be hard for me to do so
i am trained
to think
in a language that must not be easily understood
this poetry
of stone
and trickles of rain
that must be hard, and stoic, and solid
and yet
must in time
be fluid
to an adversity
patience
trickles like drops of water from a high stone inside a cave
to meet
its destiny
down the river underneath the trees and rocks
what do you see?
you will see nothing except some words that meet you
hiding in their own meanings
some words are better seen
but must not be said
in utterances
the words die their own deaths
the meanings dissolve
in their very structures
like ice melting
water turning into vapor
and then
gone
you try to hold on to mist
you breathe
you live only in the memory

The Light From The Shutters....
do not say a word
write it.
do not disturb the silence
of the corridors
when light comes in trickles
from the shutters of your window
stand still.

Restless Night
As bamboo chill drifts into the bedroom,
Moonlight fills every corner of our
Garden. Heavy dew beads and trickles.
Stars suddenly there, sparse, next aren't.
Fireflies in dark flight flash. Waking
Waterbirds begin calling, one to another.
All things caught between shield and sword,
All grief empty, the clear night passes.

My window is no blank surface
My window is no blank surface
but is a bright reflection
of Your light that trickles through to me
as Your interest
from morning twilight
where day and night
penetrate deeper into my life
while I wait upon thoughts coming from You
where every facet of my life now is getting meaning
as Your sharpening, Your forming into a new existence
free from my conceit, my weakness,
where your light, truth and love are going right through me
I know that You bring consciousness
and Your glory, Your splendour is circling out brighter.

The Night Road
The streetlight buzzes
Lit in an amber haze
Rain falls against windows
Trickles down the glass
Counting the minutes
The night roads are empty
Sleeping a travels rest
While the days trails
Become washed away
The overgrown gardens
Narrow the path
Shadows dart everywhere
Limited shade on offer
A while ago someone passed
Head bowed, scurrying
Trying to shelter from the rain
The line of amber beacons
Little amber torches hover
Into the dark of night
Buzzing little stars guide
Along a road into shadows

A Boring Day
as he opens the window
there is only the shadow of leaves on the trees
on a gray background
it is twilight, midway between night and day
sounds of a cold wind from the forest
the rooster crows and some chirping birds
you sit and gaze through the window
light comes in
this happens everyday and there is nothing significant
after 49 years, and this time a hole is bored inside your heart
you fear that love is gone.
that the birds do not chirp musical notes
the wind much colder now and you shiver
light seeps in trickles like rain on your wrinkled skin
it is the same morning, and it will be same mornings all over again.
you do not move. You let time go and your hands are frozen.

The Scarlet Tide (feat. Emmylou Harris)
Well I recall his parting words
Must I accept his fate?
Or take myself far from this place
I thought I heard a black bell toll
A little bird did sing
Man has no choice
When he wants everything
[Chorus:]
We'll rise above the scarlet tide
That trickles down through the mountain
And separates the widow from the bride
Man goes beyond his own decision
Gets caught up in the mechanism
Of swindlers who act like kings
And brokers who break everything
The dark of night was swiftly fading
Close to the dawn of the day
Why would I want him
Just to lose him again
[Chorus 2x]

Raison D'Etre
O WEARY night, O weary day,
When heart's delight is far away!
What is the day? A frame of blue
The vacant-glaring sun grins through.
What is the night? A sable veil
Through which the moon peers tired and pale.
O weary day! O weary night!
How far away is heart's delight!
Love hung the sun in his high place
To give me light to see her face,
And love spread out the veil of night
To hide us two from all men's sight.
O kindly night, O pleasant day,
Your use is gone--why should ye stay?
My heart's delight is far away,
O weary night, O weary day.

Eternal Autumn
Eternal autumn blankets our world
Touching leaves of colors swirled
Embryonic buds never to see light
Rest has fallen upon the chilled night
Nature quiets for an evening of rest
As song birds settle into their nests
Long are the eves of autumn blessed
Away are the days of warmth and green
Utterly spectacular is the colorful scene
Though the winds blow fingers through
Under blankets of moss trickles icy dew
Mother Nature has chosen her one season
Neither you nor I will ever know the reason

Shadows are my sun
Ive fallen in a hole
so deep, dark and cold
No one is there
no one to hold
My eyes are bloodstained
tears and they fall to my
lips
My plams are scratched with
blood, it trickles to my
fingertips
My blood is cold and my veins
are ice and my hair is dark
dark like night
I sit in a dark corner
shadows are my sun
I fare myself,
what have i done
I pick up a mirror
but fail to look
I will only see an unknown
place so i put down,
myself i cannot face.
