In Broad Day Light

Immeasurable, raucous, incessant dreams;
you were not present when they were seen?
Rivers, overflowing and fish who had taken refuge;
on the walls were written, by sun rays
moon through the window,
that was known, seen, in blind dark nights.

Water had rained, from the seas.
every particle was hitting the head;
barbed wires, were some use
the flow perpetually adamant,
taking lives.

Ear marked, dusty and in loose pages
the lament so old
was begun many more years before;
the shroud of mystery, confused with romance
and some reverence for the dead long ago
the plaster on the walls, melting like honey,
this street carries no sweetness

Life in the strings of music
violins are carried away, discovered just;
the whole of the cemetery, carrying bones
swept on the romance of the river.

Reinvent, reinvigorate,
my mother had left some relics;
eaten by moths
like today
that shall be buried in broad day light.

Romance Bore Seduction

Hand blessed hand, caressed.
A blushing rose, her face;
Her breast alive;
The elfin nose, a diamond set -
A kiss upon perfection

Bore a rise of pulse
To coach a sultry moan
Across a mellow breath of wine.
He knew; he sensed,
And easing loose a clasp of lace,
Another sign of her relenting:
Wild the play of eyes,
A fuller glide of skin;

He felt the now begin -
Her swell, intention in the sigh.

And so to hedge his move upon the cue -
The cry of deep anticipation,
Waxing all he saw -
Tho' not for us to view -
Arrived, emotion raw.

Sinking..

Down in the water
By the edge of the river
where I ponder my life
just how did I get to this

Down in the water
By the edge of the river
where the waterfall of dreams
sweeps away what’s left to the abyss

Down in the water
by the edge of the river
where time stands still
Just only forever.

Down in the water
by the edge of the river
where I buried all
that was ever childhood

Where I let it go,
where it bends and meanders,
twisting along as the years went past.
Seemingly calm, but screaming beneath the surface
were its hidden whirlpools, a sweeping current

Down in the water,
I left the edge of the river,
as I looked down
for my soul at the bottom.

Deep in the water
Swept away by the river

I drowned in life,

......sinking forever.

Pictured Life

Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine, ulrich roth
Ooh! dark meditation,
Your second sight can show my light
In a crystal ball.
Sweet are the days, intoxication
Crow-black the nights caging my mind
Behind the wall.
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Into the rock to find the cream
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Pictured life from yesterday.
Ooh! dark meditation,
Deep down inside a stream of light
Begins to flow.
Sweet are the days, intoxication
Crow-black the nights caging my mind
Behind the wall.
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Into the rock to find the cream
Into the rock through walls of red dreams
Pictured life from yesterday.
Pictured life, pictured life
Pictured life from yesterday ...

The life time of sun set!

I look at the God particle,
I look at the solar planet,
I look at the ever flowing river,
I do not look at you,
The man on the street,
Struggle to survive.
I look at the girl,
I look at her breast,
I look at the boy,
I look at his wallet,
We do not look at you,
The hungry volcanic stomachs,
With empty spatial dreams,
Overflowing rivers in the eyes,
Thunderous rain in the mind,
The whole month of new moon,
The life time of sun set,
Arrival of Tsunami at your door step.

Frozen Dance

The tree is without leaves
Lifting one arm in the direction of the air
The head as if to see
The dry river bed
The stones have been cut sharply
By wind
There had been some water
And the river had been in flow
This bridge is built in vain
The other tree
Had been a fisherman
The first one
The beautiful fairy
Taking a bath
And in sight of a dream
Is now a tree
In the shape of frozen dance

Romance Is Dead

A glass of cheap vodka tastes just like depression -
It hurts to be sober tonight.
The mirror reflects such a hideous expression
That I promptly turn off the light.
Some porno, then casual sex with my hand...
Oh damn! This is something I shouldn't have said.
Why don't you believe that I need no boyfriend -
No problems, no worries, no tears, no regret?

Romance is dead,
And so am I,
I can't forget
My perfect lie.
I still recall
The times we had.
Oh well, that's all.
Romance is dead.

I can't fall asleep, so I get on the net,
Where I claim to be an online super-wh-,
I find guys like you just to make them all fret,
My tease makes them want me, but they can't get more
Than flirt for some minutes, some sexual tension
And then disconnect. Their muse disappears.
I've had a good time with these cruel intentions -
Enough for today. See you later, my dear.

Romance is dead,
And so am I,
I can't forget
My perfect lie.
I still recall
The times we had.
Oh well, that's all.
Romance is dead.
Romance is dead!

You say it is stupid, it doesn't make sense,
But you are the first to have buried romance.

A sombre romance

A sombre romance
~
Dying flowers in a vase
Mindless routines becoming motions
Without a thought of feeling
Carrying on for the sake of it all
A kiss cold to the lips
What this house has seen in our time
Were these walls to talk
How they would speak about
A sombre romance
The bottles of wine shared
Over a film and Chinese
The tiring pretence
That things are as they were
That nothings changed
New flowers daily, smaller bunches
Forced into a crowded vase
Nothings new anymore
Even this old pretence
Why we keep denying the inevitable
That even the walls know
This sombre romance
Has seen its day

Ibrahim II

You are better off today than yesterday,
But tomorrow comes and it will be worst off!
Oh Ibrahim my lover! ! This is how the world is,
And we have to face the realities around us at all times.

Of the water which was turned into blood!
Of the River Nile which was turned into frogs!
But, there is One Law for us all;
Yes, One Law for the native born and for the stranger.

The book of war!
The book peace,
The book of joy,
The book of love,
The book of romance,
The book of rivers;
And like the first moon of the year! !
However, all the rivers that flow ends up to the sea.

Walls

Walls of stone and walls of brick,
Some walls thin and some walls thick,
Walls so high and walls so low,
Walls to hide and walls to show.

Walls quite short and walls quite tall,
Some walls, last well, some walls fall,
Walls for comfort, walls of hate,
Walls for security, walls ornate.

Some as a barricade, some to support,
Walls of wood and walls of iron wrought,
Walls as a barrier, walls to enclose,
Some are to sit on, some to lean and doze.

Walls we build ourselves, these aren't good,
Walls for privacy, walls that have stood,
So many years through weather foul or fine,
Walls, that are yours, walls that are mine.

Brick by brick they are built to last,
Whether built now or in the past,
They shelter us from so many things,
And shield us from whatever this life brings.

Dreams...Rivers Of The Night

Dreams are rivers of the night
A place in which the mind shakes free
The conscious bands that hold us tight
And sails us out into mystery

Maiden voyages into seas so deep
Vivid montages of experience strange
Not bound by banks within to keep
Nor limits set within to range

Suspension of reason, dwells in the night
Helplessly carried upon dreams cold river
Exposed to experience, never allowed in daylight
Strange deeds, strange thoughts, make us shiver

If Dreams are rivers of the night
Then what are days, just what might they be?
Which one is false…and which is right?
And in which one would you rather be?

For who can say beyond a doubt
Which is reality and which is not
Is awake really being up and about
Or is dreaming of being awake… our lot

If Dreams are rivers of the night
Then could days be dreams of another kind?
Could the rivers of the night be the true and the right
And days a nightmare to which we’re blind

Dreams are rivers of the night
That’s what most people would say
Tell me I‘m dreaming…show me the light
It seems like a nightmare…show me the way

Oboe Me Over

Strings of violins,
Can mean so many things.
To a heart,
Missing...
The kissing,
Of a touch dipped in romance.

Strings of violins,
Gently bowed by those who know...
The missing,
And touch that's kissed,
By one who seeks romance.

Oboe me over,
With French horns caressing my need.
Sweeping me up into ecstasy.
Enthralled am I,
And timpanied.

Oboe me over,
With French horns caressing my need.
Sweeping me up into ecstasy.
Enthralled am I,
And timpanied.
Captured I am in your rhapsody.

Those strings of violins,
Can mean so many things.
To a heart,
Missing...
The kissing,
Of a touch dipped in romance.

Strings of violins,
Played over and over again.
Will never for me end...
My quest to be romanced.

Ooohhh,
Bowl me over,
With French horns caressing my need.
Sweeping me up into ecstasy.
Enthralled am I,
And timpanied.

And,
Captured I am...
In your rhapsody.

Rays Dads Cadillac

Rays dads cadillac
Rollin past the rink
Past the record shack
Pink fins in the falling rain
Rollin
To the blue lights past the water mains
Rays dads cadillac
Weekends wed get
Rays dads cadillac
Rock n roll in the dashboard
Romance in the back of
Rays dads cadillac
Rays dad teaches math
Zero
Im a dunce
Im a decimal in his class
Last nights kisses wont erase
Zero
I just cant keep the numbers in their place
Rays dads cadillac
Last night we had
Rays dads cadillac
Rock n roll in the dashboard
Romance in the back of
Rays dads cadillac
When it comes to mathematics
I got static in the attic
No sir, nothins clear!
Ill be blackboard blind on monday
Dreamin of blue runways
On the edge of here
A little atmosphere
Blue lights out on airport road
Motown, in a field in a farmers grove
Big planes comin overhead
Lowdown
You can see the bolts
You can see the tire treads
Rays dads cadillac
Weekends wed get
Rays dads cadillac
Oh, little darlin
Rock n roll in the dashboard
Romance in the back of

Money Honey

(words & music by j. stone)
You know, the landlord rang my front door bell.
I let it ring for a long, long spell.
I went to the window,
I peeped through the blind,
And asked him to tell me whats on his mind.
He said,
Money, honey.
Money, honey.
Money, honey, if you want to get along with me.
Well, I screamed and I hollered,
I was so hard-pressed.
I called the woman that I loved the best.
I finally got my baby about half past three,
She said Id like to know what you want with me.
I said,
Money, honey.
Money, honey.
Money, honey,
If you want to get along with me.
Well, I said tell me baby, whats wrong with you?
From this day on our romance is through
I said, tell me baby, face to face
How could another man take my place?
She said,
Money, honey.
Money, honey.
Money, honey,
If you want to get a long with me.
Well, Ive learned my lesson and now I know
The sun may shine and the winds may blow.
The women may come and the women may go,
But before I say I love you so,
I want
Money, honey.
Money, honey.
Money, honey,
If you want to get along with me.

The Fish In The Fishbowl...

i see fish in a bowl
the size of the fish is just
enough for the bowl
and water is half-full
the fish swims freely and
breathes
air and lets it pass through
its lungs and three bubbles
rise up
and then disappears
at the surface

outside the house it is raining
heavily
the news of the river overflowing
the banks
is flashed on tv

warnings are given by the government
evacuation is eminent
carry only those which are necessary
foremost
save lives of the children and
the old sector

we are ready
we are not taking this fish bowl
the fish can take of itself

when we left
the fish flips its fins and breathes faster
releasing more bubbles on the surface of the water

it is the only creature i think
that is happy.

Teenage Romance

Teenage Romance is hitting me… again
Seems like not that long ago
I didn’t give 2 shits about romance
Other then the appreciation
“That I Courtney Redmond was in a relationship
And getting some ass”
From a guy that truly loved me for me
Sex is nice, well if I would get it on the regular
Then I could write more on it
But I can’t.
I can only say with pride
That I’m a virgin
Who reads too many romance novels
And dreams of a romance that will last for all time.
Silly dreams.

I’m such a teenager… I need a life.
I need to get laid too…. Soon
Well I think I can make it for a while
But the only thing that makes it all worthwhile
Is that I’m clean… there ain’t no bugs on me
Says the puppy in me.

I need to move on from the romance days
And into the new
No more living in the sex crazed world of others
And into the world of focusing on school
And career…. Then *poof* live on.

Being single isn’t as bad as people make it seem
Its fun most of the time
Till the dreaded Valentines day comes
Or the couple of the week meets and puts their lips together
And eww I don’t even want to talk about it anymore.
I need a drink after all this teenage romance stuff
It’s all for the birds… well more the love birds.
Girls here’s a hit how about instead of a guy
How about you get a dog.
More reliable I say on certain matters.

I hate being a teenager… might as well shoot myself
For all the drama in romance.
But hey what else would I have to hide from
Other then myself.

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance

By Shawn Cline

It was a Romance with no feelings for me or others.

It was a time that my Romance took my life from me.

It was the beginning of the end of my life.

No hopes no dreams just space and emptiness.

My Romance had no heart nor love, for they were locked within my deepest soul.

The chains that held me down were from my own doings that I did not want to face.

Life itself was my enemy, which I fought to the very end of my romance.

My Chemical Romans was my only love, friend and assurance to make me better.

I did not want to ask for help because I knew that someone would tell me the truth.

My Chemical Romans was sucking the very life from me, my friend that I trust.

I pray one day My Chemical Romance can be put away for good;

And I can live my life without pain, blame, denial, depression, anger, fear and shame

Just to have one day to be me, confident in My Romance for Life and Dreams

But it may be too late for me, because I am a weak soul lost for today…..

The House Of Dust: Part 02: 09: Interlude

The days, the nights, flow one by one above us,
The hours go silently over our lifted faces,
We are like dreamers who walk beneath a sea.
Beneath high walls we flow in the sun together.
We sleep, we wake, we laugh, we pursue, we flee.

We sit at tables and sip our morning coffee,
We read the papers for tales of lust or crime.
The door swings shut behind the latest comer.
We set our watches, regard the time.

What have we done? I close my eyes, remember
The great machine whose sinister brain before me
Smote and smote with a rhythmic beat.
My hands have torn down walls, the stone and plaster.
I dropped great beams to the dusty street.

My eyes are worn with measuring cloths of purple,
And golden cloths, and wavering cloths, and pale.
I dream of a crowd of faces, white with menace.
Hands reach up to tear me. My brain will fail.

Here, where the walls go down beneath our picks,
These walls whose windows gap against the sky,
Atom by atom of flesh and brain and marble
Will build a glittering tower before we die . . .

The young boy whistles, hurrying down the street,
The young girl hums beneath her breath.
One goes out to beauty, and does not know it.
And one goes out to death.

To Preserve Something, Just Cover It Up in Dust and Cobwebs

The house had a secret life concealed within
Though externally the surface was drab and plain,
Nothing to draw attention at all-
Dusty and dank, with every sort of stain.

But at a certain season and hour of darkness
Punctuated with rays of random moon:
The inner soul of the place came apparent
The greyness fell away and took with it the gloom.

Then the walls would blaze with a turquoise hue,
The kitchen had a lively checkerboard tile.
On the bathroom walls in the muted blue sea
The red fish and mermaids began to smile.

The scalloped mantle was glossy and white,
The wood floors shone to refect the rays,
All the crystal glass knobs and findings
Collected, throughout the long, polished days.

The house remembered the clinking of goblets
Wielded by languorous guests on the lawn;
Nights were passed long and comely,
And scattered coffee cups greeted the dawn.

Now weeds have grown up through the cracks in the walk-
The house is forgotten and falling apart
But the life that once flourished between the timbers
Is safely preserved in the house of the heart.
