I think i am a bit possesive

I know these guys from my childhood

To me they have always been good.

We have sat together in all the bowers of a school

To think they’ll be with me till the end

Is an act of a fool?

I never wanted our friendship to be torn

And make these guys people of the bygone.

I always want them to be tether in my friends circle.

I want them to be with me till I get my freckles.

In my life they have been in my circle of peers

And they about me from my love to my childhood fears.

With other people I don’t want them to mingle,

Then I would become single.

In my life they have never been aggressive

But towards them I think I have been a it possessive.

The Comeback

From the day we arrive on this planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There is far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round
It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life
It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life

Black Elk Speaks

The power of the world
always works in circles.
The sky is round,
and I have heard
the earth is round
like a ball,
and so are all the stars.
The wind,
in its greatest power, whirls.
Birds make their nests
in circles,
for theirs is the same religion as ours.
The sun
comes forth and goes down
in a circle
The moon does the same.
And both always come back
to where they were.
The life of man is a circle
from childhood to childhood.
And so it is in everything
where power moves.'

Lies About Tall Guys

Just seems like it’s that way to me

Taller guys seem to get executive jobs
Shorter guys work mostly as clerks
Taller guys never seem to be slobs
Shorter guys always seem to be jerks

Taller guys seem to get all of the action
Shorter guys seem to be quite invisible
Taller guys always seem to deserve satisfaction
Shorter guys are lonely and miserable

Just seems like it’s that way to me

Taller guys just seem born to play sports
Shorter guys kinda seem to like tennis
Taller guys certainly look better in shorts
Shorter guys look like Dennis the Menace

Taller guys are usually at the top of their class
Shorter guys seem to fail quite a lot
Taller guys always seem to kick ass
Shorter guys want to, but simply cannot

sure seems like it’s that way to me

Taller guys get better grades and such
Shorter guys seem to barely scrape by
Taller guys seem to do better, pretty much
Shorter guys always wonder why

Taller guys seem to have eyes like a hawk
Shorter guys seem to wear glasses a lot
Taller guys cover more ground when they walk
Shorter guys, to keep up, have to trot

Sure seems like it’s that way to me

Taller guys and their friends look like N.B.A players
Shorter guys look more like cheerleaders
Taller guys seem to look like dragon slayers
Shorter guys look a lot more like bleeders

Taller guys seem to have more gear to protect
Shorter guys wear more protective gear
Taller guys, more confidence seem to project
Shorter guys have less confidence, more fear

Really seems like it’s that way to me

Taller guys appeal to the female gender
Shorter guys always seem to choke
Taller guys carry a lot more legal tender
Shorter guys always seem to be broke

Taller guys seem to drive high dollar cars
Shorter guys drive toyotas
Taller guys seem to reach for the stars
Shorter guys reach for diet sodas

Taller guys are obnoxious, let’s neuter them all
Shorter guys are great people, always a delight
Taller guys are an abomination against mother nature’s law
If you think I’m a short guy….well, you’re right!

Really seems like the way it should be

Childhood Memories Sung to the Tune of Shawnee West Franklin Bison Blues

Some people have a childhood garden
Filled with green and growing things
Some people have a childhood garden
Filled with purple peonies
Mine is sere
Throughout the year
Nothing grows here

Some people have a childhood rainbow
A sea of colors all aglow
Some people have a childhood rainbow
Red to violet in a row
Mine is gray
Bow of clay
Without a ray

Some people have a childhood temple
Covered with a million treasured dreams
Some people have a childhood temple
A sunny Wat of Gods and kings
Mine is plain
Squats in the rain
Functional 'n sane

Where childhood memories abound
Life flows vividly around
Where childhood memories have fled
Hearts lie dead

Blessed with friends

I was praying God to be blessed with friends
Friends with close attachment till the end
I could find hardly few as I it was difficult to get
I thought of leaving the effort and decided to forget

When I was small kid there was company kids from near by
Thy were eager to come near and were making frantic try
We would then play with toys and make some fun
On little excitement or quarrel they will try to go away or run

In school also some of the boys were very nice and intelligent
They will make all the times with their funny comments
We will play together and depart with compel enjoyment
It was nice spending with happiest moments

The young was like spring season
I had lot of excitement with reason
I was becoming fully grown adult
Stamina as such was high and inbuilt

Now it was field for me to venture
The school had given us vivid aspects of future
Whole life was before us to explore
The thrust and bold approach required was more

I had enough time to keep trusted friends in the circle
Some of them were since childhood and few joined from school
Little can be said about who were intelligent or fool
But I was surrounded by many and company was full

I could well assess what was good or bad
Sometimes it was making me very sad
I will think seriously about the repercussions
After I had brief or lengthy discussion

Some of the friends had made sincere inroad
They were not nuisance or of any burden with load
I took it casually as an extension of human nature
But still it remained my grave concern to make it doubly sure

There were some more friends in me already
They were waiting for golden chance and ready
Normal friends would go off with little displeasure
But these friends were already seated in for pleasure

I can name only few to be more precise
I should be called fool if not wise
People may question what is new in my disclosure?
They are with all and firmly placed and can be called impure

They were of course undesired in any form
I still decided to remain well informed
I shall keep them away and keep the distance
If possible to get rid of them at once

It is easy to talk of high order
You will loose control with slight anger
Annoyance is even worst than hunger
We can keep them not any longer

I remember my childhood

I remember my childhood
Whenever I am in the mood

I remember my childhood
With the bad and the good
I remember my childhood
With the variety of available junk food

Funny, the old want to be young
While kids endeavour to be old and strong
Girls wanted to grow up fast as women
Boys wanted to grow up fast as men
Before they could walk right or learn

Those were good times
With very little crime
We had fun with little a dime
How is that for a rhyme?

Mum would call us for biscuits and cakes
While we played games and learnt from mistakes
We all went anxiously to school
To see what best pranks any of us could pull

I remember my childhood
I was always polite and not rude

I remember my childhood
If I could then you should

We as kids all had dreams
Which we shared as a team
We all loved to rock but hated homework
I mean what was the point of so much paperwork

And what is really bizarre
Is that I was always after
The bedtime stories from Mama and Papa
I also enjoyed the view of the nightly stars from afar
Same way I loved presents at Christmas and Easter

Mama always used to say
A gift no matter how little will lift anyone's spirit any day

I remember my childhood
And the adventures in the woods

I remember my childhood
With all the includes and excludes

I remember my childhood
And till today there are still things I've never understood

927: Long March

Life is like a long march,
You start with your parents and siblings,
Soon neighbors join you, relatives and friends,
As you proceed the set keeps changing,

Innocent friendship of the middle school,
Naughty crazy acts and being called fool,
The high school and the awakening,
The first crush, drool and the teasing,

Sophomore days and its freedom,
Graduate days burdens you with responsibility,
Also the sufferings from rivalry and insecurity,

Once working, you are struck by the life’s reality,
Love you look for also seek to love,
Some get, many don’t, of this rare commodity,
Marry, live life, get a family of your own,

Profession, growth, money,
Settlement and possession,
Let not love be lost and
Something else become obsession,
Those childhood friends gone,
Different people roam your life,
Some feel achieved few others lost,

This phase is too long,
With milestones your own,
The chosen few are very successful,
The failures are stark,
Rest of us just live to die,
None of those you were born with,
Would there be to say goodbye.

Friendship

Friendship

Friendship is love,
Without friendship love means nothing!
Without friendship love is empty…
Without friendship love is boring...!

Friendship means sharing…
People learn to share from friendship,
Share everything they have in life,

Friendship is like stars,
Even though we always see them together
Always mean to each other…
But,
Sometimes they argue!

Friendship is like flower,
Soft but strong!
Friendship is like sun,
Bright and beautiful!

Friendship is everything in life,
Life without friendship is like life without air…
Life without friendship is like eats without food
And
Life without friendship is like body without soul…

Friendship is wide!
Anybody can be our friend,
Our parents, our grandparents, our sister, our brother and even our school principal!

Friendship….
Is everything!

Parents In Our Life

Our life is a secondary school,
where we sometimes become fool,
Parents are so good,
They care us from our childhood,
If we are sometimes not well,
there faces of heart naturally swell.
house made by them is like my indian land,
in our life they have a higher position to stand,
We respect them the most,
For them we are always small,
Our parents are so good,
they care us from our childhood.

Circle Of Life

Aha, aha...
From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
Some say eat or be eaten
Some say live and let live
But all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give
(Chorus)
In the Circle of Life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life
Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps the great and small on the endless round
(Chorus repeats)
On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life.

I Give Up On Love

Every time I want to love someone else
It hurt so much because
I promise myself that
I wouldn't love anyone else, but you forever
People think I'm fool for falling over you, but
I know you are wonderful person
I give up on love
For now and I try and try, but at end I fall down
My heart is turn into black stone
Part of me is gone
I feel like different person
I'm just single lady for now
Guys act so sweet to me
Then at end they hurt me
I can't take any of this anymore
I give up on love
For now
I wish I can go back in time and fixed everything I done wrong
So I won't feel like this, but it happen
I won't act like it didn't happen
I need to be strong
I don't want to waste another minute with guys who going play with my heart and break it
Why can I go for sweet guys?
I'm being fool not to because of you baby
I give up on love
For now
You make me so afraid and play on safe side
So I stop getting hurt
I give up on love

What Love Mean To Me

When you are in love you have to put hundred percent into relationship
When you say I love you should mean it and not joke about it, it's not funny
What love mean to me
Are feelings you felt for the first time with that person
You should cherish that person good because
They going be gone out your life without you even realizing it
If you lost that chances
You got to learn to work to it out and figure out on your own
Do what the other person wants to
Try new things and take risk with one you love
You got to learn trust the other person
Being with someone you been waiting for is so magical and beautiful
Don't let that person slip away
You might not get that second chance
Try to do something nice or romantic for that person
What love mean to me
Is enjoying life and share happiness with your love one
We all will get in argument with each other
Then we start thinking about our exes or just go somewhere to think
At end it be fine or not depends on situation went on
You shouldn't let that get in the way of having each other
You should make compromise with your love one
You guys will work something out as along as you guys meet in middle it be good
One day you guys want to get marry and start a family or just have each other
Chemistry and sparks will last forever
If you go back to memory land and found out
Why you guys fall in love in first place and
Just want each other forever and always
If you learn from mistakes
Life won't be difficult
You need just learn to open your ears and eyes
You should never lie in relationship then it's not really one
Love should be on top of your properties
Don't let friends and work stop you from being with that person
No matter how hard things get
You guys can overcome it together
What love mean to me

Vicious Circle

Youre caught in a vicious circle
Surrounded by your so called friends
Youre caught in a vicious circle
And it looks like it will never end
cause some people think that they like problems
And some people think that they dont
And for everybody who says yes
Theres somebody whos staring, saying dont
Youre caught in a vicious circle
Surrounded by your so called friends
Youre caught in a vicious circle
And it looks like it will just never end
cause some people think that its nerves
And some people think that its not
And some people think that its things that you do
And others think that you were cold when you were hot
They think that, that is what it was about
Youre caught in a vicious circle
Youre caught in a vicious circle
Youre caught in a vicious circle
Youre caught in a vicious circle
Surrounded by all of your friends

Robert (Rocky) Bates

Where do we start, where do we stop
putting together divine words of sincerity
for a man of integrity, intelligent, witty,
admired by his peers, family and friends.

Our families came together on the
Sandfields Estate late fifties early sixties,
though from different backgrounds,
we bonded instantly in childhood
and were known as Rocky, Ti, Jolly, and Pixie.

The history of our childhood became a ten-plate
toward the development of our adulthood
and through our childhood bonding
it became apparent, in who we are today.

There is no manual on the shelves,
to show how we should proceed
but we knew how to treat each other.
That is a rare commodity in how to
navigate friendship unconditionally.

Turning 15

My life hasn't changed, but only teenager things, friends, guys, romance, lust, looks, school, doing those bad stuff, school is easy, friends complicated to understand drama, guys like me for all the wrong reasons, except one show far, lust and romance are two different things, but only get one, my looks make me look like a woman, fully developed, now doing those bad things, i try not to do it, but being reckless is who i am, wanting excitement, show me a good time, drink my pain away, having sex isn't safe anymore, drugs to hard to quiet when your life is all screwed up, turning 15 isn't like the old days, men i look for maturity, not how big you are, or how good you can pleasure me, trying new things a little scary, sneaking out to see the stars that brighten up the sky, sipping on that can of beer, crying about what you wish you could of changed sooner, get in the backseat of your car, undress to let the breeze touch my bare skin, what happened to that innocent girl i use to be, now i'm some stranger.

Lust Unseats Love in Modern Life

In a small circle they moved in the past
And lean books they read and got fit to jobs.
As good they were, love till the end did last.
Now one's love another man plans and robs.
From the dawn, everywhere life is fast
To harm the good, evil gathers in mobs.
A lover to Sciences be an outcast.
So rein your lovely heart that often bobs.
Till you settle down, deny access to love
and to shut the door to glances make a vow.

Nakama, what a word!
So many meanings
big difference it makes
of good and bad
it's all that it takes
to feel acceptance.
The unconditionally
friendly feel of peace
when enter into:

family circle
neighbours circle
work circle
nature circle
earth circle

am I a part of them?
If yes, then

The Workout

I was dancing with a dirty blond Texan,
Charming accent but the music's playing too loud for talking
So I showed him how people in the Far East get down
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
...what a workout!
If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
Aint it good to be alive tonight
One life, two-time, 3 girls, 4 guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
6.0 Make it sweet, drop another dime
I was talking with a born-again Christian
"So what's it like to start life all over?"
He said "Amen,
I feel like I've been, rediscovering the tomb of Tutankhamen."
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Baby, don't put me down
...what a workout!
What you want, it's a done deal
Shake it, shake it
What you don't, you can forget about it, 'bout it
Up and down, feel your brainwaves jumpin' jumpin'
Makes me wanna take a dive
As we count to five
One life, two-time, 3 girls, 4 guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
Can you hold on, someone's calling on the other line
I'm back
Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
...what a workout!
If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
Ain't it good to be alive tonight
