I’ll Still Be Dead
After I die
some will mourn
Others will put on the face of mourning
They’ll gather together at two o’clock
and be home for dinner.
They’ll be wondering what’s for dinner.
Maybe they planned ahead and defrosted something.
Meanwhile, I’ll still be dead,
and all of my passions and sexual adventures and
school exams and career choices and career dead-ends
will have vanished with the whack of a baseball bat.
They’ll scatter my ash someplace pretty
but most of it will mix with dust and grime
and deposit itself on unremarkable fields or
sink to the bottom of water.
That’s okay because I’ll still be dead.
Springtime will burst with blossoms and bugs
and turn to summer
Kids will graduate and parents will smile
and wait for marriages and grandchildren
New singers and movie stars
will face the klieg lights and then
slide into tell-all books and then out-of-print.
The earth will keep rotating and new
planets and galaxies will be discovered
and described with mathematics.
All of these will occur and recur like premonitions
and I will have no comments or satiric asides.
I will not smirk or raise an eyebrow.
I will not smile knowingly or put down the newspaper to
reach over and hold you tight.
I will not preserve or remember this intimate moment with you.
I will not say your name or recall your sweet smell.
That is why I am breathing deeply now in rhythm with your breathing,
That is why I am closing my eyes and caressing your skin
slowly

Passion
As I look in your eyes,
In the pale moon light,
And see your lil smile,
That lights up the night.
As I feel you body,
Pressed tight up to mine,
Your skin feel as silk,
As our bodies intertwine.
Feeling the passion,
With each touch of you skin,
The breathing gets harder,
As I kiss softly your lips slowly to your chin.
Our hands are wondering,
Exploring each others bodies as they go,
Kissing and caressing each sensual spot,
As we feel the passion start to flow.
Thrusting to one another,
As the heat starts to rise,
Kissing your soft lips,
As I slide my hand up your thighs.
As the sweat starts dripping,
Our bodies start to glide,
Feeling as tho we are one,
Each time our bodies collide.
Each time we connect,
Its like the waves crashing ashore,
The feeling is so wonderful,
As never before.

You're In The Air
You wanted a challenge
That's calling you higher
I landed on my feet crawling
I remember standing alone trying to forget you idling
I hate to admit that that's my reference point
But there it is
You say you want me
I'm what you found
I'm upside down
You're in the air
You're in the air
And I am breathing
Brighten the stars
The weather is lifting
The heavens love
A love like this
It's pulling you higher
Twist it and turn this around
It lights from within
It dribbles your chin
Now brings a smile
I'm lost again
I'm lost again
I'm what you found
I'm upside down
You're in the air
You're in the air
And I am breathing
I want the stars to know they've won
If only to beguile
The sky has opened up again
In heaven reconciled
I want you naked
I want you wild
I want the stars to know they win
Give me that smile
Just give it me
Just turn it on
I'm lost again
I'm what you found
I'm upside down
You're in the air
I'm what you found
I'm upside down
You're in the air
I'm what you found
I'm upside down
You're everywhere
You're in the air
And I am breathing you

A Dead March
PLAY me a march, low-ton’d and slow—a march for a silent tread,
Fit for the wandering feet of one who dreams of the silent dead,
Lonely, between the bones below and the souls that are overhead.
Here for a while they smil’d and sang, alive in the interspace,
Here with the grass beneath the foot, and the stars above the face,
Now are their feet beneath the grass, and whither has flown their grace?
Who shall assure us whence they come, or tell us the way they go?
Verily, life with them was joy, and, now they have left us, woe,
Once they were not, and now they are not, and this is the sum we know.
Orderly range the seasons due, and orderly roll the stars.
How shall we deem the soldier brave who frets of his wounds and scars?
Are we as senseless brutes that we should dash at the well-seen bars?
No, we are here, with feet unfix’d, but ever as if with lead
Drawn from the orbs which shine above to the orb on which we tread,
Down to the dust from which we came and with which we shall mingle dead.
No, we are here to wait, and work, and strain our banish’d eyes,
Weary and sick of soil and toil, and hungry and fain for skies
Far from the reach of wingless men, and not to be scal’d with cries.
No, we are here to bend our necks to the yoke of tyrant Time,
Welcoming all the gifts he gives us—glories of youth and prime,
Patiently watching them all depart as our heads grow white as rime.
Why do we mourn the days that go—for the same sun shines each day,
Ever a spring her primrose hath, and ever a May her may;
Sweet as the rose that died last year is the rose that is born to-day.
Do we not too return, we men, as ever the round earth whirls?
Never a head is dimm’d with gray but another is sunn’d with curls;
She was a girl and he was a boy, but yet there are boys and girls.
Ah, but alas for the smile of smiles that never but one face wore;
Ah, for the voice that has flown away like a bird to an unseen shore;
Ah, for the face—the flower of flowers—that blossoms on earth no more.

All Dead, All Dead
Memories, my memories
How long can you stay
To haunt my days
She came without a farthing
A babe without a name
So much ado about nothing
Is what shed try to say
So much ado my lover
So many games we played
Through every fleeted summer
Through every precious day
All dead all dead
All the dreams we had
And I wonder why I still live on
All dead all dead
And alone Im spared
My sweeter half instead
All dead
And gone
All dead...
All dead all dead
At the rainbows end
And still I hear her own sweet song
All dead all dead
Take me back again
You know my little friends
All dead
And gone
All dead and gone
Her ways are always with me
I wander all the while
But please you must forgive me
I am old but still a child
All dead all dead
But I should not grieve
In time it comes to everyone
All dead all dead
But in hope I breathe
Of course I dont believe
Youre dead
And gone
All dead
And gone

I Cant Wait Until I See My Babys Face
(taylor / ragavoy)
I cant wait until I see my, my babys face
When I tell him that Im through
Yes, Im through with him
cause hes been running round
And I got to, to put him down
I cant wait to see the look
The look in his eyes
I wonder if hell cry
When I tell him this is goodbye, yes it is
Or will he try to change my mind
And make me stay? yeah
Or will he turn around
And, with a smile on his face
Just walk away?
Just walk away
I cant wait until I see my, my babys face
Gotta find out what I mean
What I mean to him
cause just one tear is all hes got to, to shed for me
And I know that l will run, yes Ill run to him
Ill hold him tight
Never, never let him go, no-o-o
And I cant wait until I see my, my babys face
You know, I just cant wait until I see my babys, babys face
You know, I just cant wait until I see my, my babys face
I cant wait until i

Much That I Remember About You
I remember you
I remember the first time I saw you
Looking up and there you were, an angel on earth
It occurred when I didn’t expect it, wasn’t looking
Seeing you and thinking that you were pretty
Seeing you and wondering why, afterwards, I
Remember you more now
I remember your voice
I remember the first time I heard and it enchanted me
Dulcet tones playing hypnotic music disguised as a woman’s voice
It happened in conversation, in the harmony of all you spoke
Hearing the coy happiness in the words we shared
Hearing the smile in your tone so that I
Remember your voice now
I remember your eyes
I remember the first time I became lost in them
How it was a time when our eyes met in more than just a glance
It happened in a moment, together with you
Seeing in your eyes more than just a casual interest
Seeing in your eyes myself and us which is why I
Remember your eyes now
I remember your skin
I remember the first time I felt the touch of your skin
When your fingertips brushed mine in flirting invitation
It flashed in a moment, skin to skin
Feeling the electricity of your touch, your skin against mine
Feeling the heat passing between us as I
Remember the feel of your skin now
I remember how you made me feel
I remember the first time I admitted to myself
What I felt for you was more than just friendship
It came in a moment, talking with you
Realizing that every thought of you made me smile
Realizing that each smile made me
Remember even more how you made me feel
I remember why I fell for you
I remember this all the time now
The memory comes in thoughts, your voice, your eyes
It happens in every moment these days, loving you
Knowing that what happened between us is a good beginning
Knowing that we could be much more always helps me
Remember constantly why I fell in love with you

I'm trying to remember your face or your voice
It's starting to be like a faded dream
I remember your hugs, You use give
hugs like you was hugging a bear
You would squeeze so tight
I remember the smell in the kitchen
When you are cooking Sunday dinner
It makes your mouth water and you
would want sample it.
I remember you use to bake these
cheese cake square desserts
that tasted like sweet cheese
I remember the crezy nick names
You had for all of you Grand Children
IF ONLY I COULD HEAR YOUR
VOICE OR SEE YOUR FACE
I WOULD PAY A MILLION BUCKS
I MISS YOU MAGGIE

The Pirate Life
We may have to fight
With concealed guns
And razor-sharp knives
To make it from the east side
To our lost friends on the west side.
We have seen the blood-spattered pavement
Mournfully cradle the dead,
Eyes begin to slowly shut
Softly flashing last prayers
And farewell glances.
The pirate life in the gang-sectioned-off city,
Luna, with your tight jeans and sweet smile,
We made peace with the Hispanic kids,
They’ll let us slide for the next mile
Until we at least catch up with Joey the Freak.
Hold on tight the journey has just begun
And I can feel the breath of considerable threats,
But you’re like a good-luck charm, sweetheart,
So I’m placing my bets,
We’ll find Joey and then make it home for another night.

Turn another turn...
Turn another turn, sp00l...
I think therefore I am, familiar to most?
How long did we eat the seed planted by our host?
4 billion years between our ears
Still hatred brings us many tears
Still we judge each other...
Why when were only looking for the same high?
Grind time for old misconceptions.
Roll out new scenery as per suggestion.
Wont salute you. wont desert you.
Wont be a prisoner of assumption anymore.
Does language define us? is reality... words?
How far do we appear to be...
Is the measure of... scope. but...
With our junkie soul, we face the need,
Of natures planned dependency.
Dont hold contempt for ecstasy
Just... mourn the dead... on the (national) screen,
Mourn the dead... on the screen, mourn the dead...
On the screen, mourn the dead... while they scream!!!
Grind time for old misconceptions.
Roll out new scenery as per suggestion.
Wont salute you. wont desert you.
Sp00l
Turn another turn!
Turn another turn!
Sp00l
Turn another turn!
Dont need persuading by the status quo.
We can make changes.
If we open up well see... the history they sell us
Holds the structure firm, reinforce the mold.
We need to strip it all away....
And let the sp00l turn, turn,
Another turn,
Another turn.
Watch it turn, watch it turn. what well learn.
Grind time for old misconceptions.
Roll out new scenery as per suggestion.
Wont salute you. wont desert you.
Sp00l
Turn another turn!
Turn another turn!
Sp00l
Turn another turn!
Push away what theyre selling me,
Realize what we need to be.
Focus on a strategy to
Open up our minds and then,
Together... turn another turn.

When It Hurts Enough To Cry
When it hurts enough to cry,
Like when your parents give you up, and you don't know why.
Parents just like my own,
Didn't want anything to do with me, till I was grown.
Why do some parents give up their kids,
Do they ever regret later that they did?
My parents weren't there through the teen years,
Or seeing me graduate which brought me tears.
I hardly heard I love you son,
When growing up, I can't remember having any fun.
Something my dad said has always stuck in my head,
When I was five he said he wished I was dead.
Doesn't he know my heart was torn?
I never did ask to be born.
Parents are suppose to love their kids,
And it will show later what a good job they did.
They say you can't choose your mom or dad,
Cause if I could I wouldn't be so sad.
But I always remember what Jesus said,
''Always love your mom and dad.''

Inside Stran
i feel down at rock bottom
i look dead as if i have been laid to rest for a while
but here i stand feeling and looking as i do
my heart still beats and my eyes still reflect
the expression on my face
like a faital error being pushed through my vains
a grim expression of darkness
as i look around my eyes change from a soft honey brown
to to a cold hazel
quiet and tired not a sound
i am not as dead on the inside as i am outside
on the inside there is a single stran of life
awaiting the time to grow
when my eyes well up with tears
outside clouds gather quickly
as drops roll down my face
cause the urge to hold them back weakens
it starts to rain outside
the harder i cry makes the rain inside the clouds pour
as time goes by slowly and warped
my tears stop as dose the rain outside
still looking and feeling the same as i did befor
watching the clock biteing to the bone
bleeding to my wrists as i watch it run

The Yellow School Bus
The yellow school bus with the black wheels took sick children to school each day.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels was driven whether or not the sky was gray.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels went pass three streets and up a hill.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels was driven whether sunny or chilled.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels always brought a smile to little kids face.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels was filled with love and filled with grace.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels kept breathing until that final breath.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels was painted red with blood and death.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels and the little sick children were all of friends.
But the now dead children will never take a ride in the yellow school bus again.

Wishing You Were Here
I'm writing letters and your candle is burning
Things could be better, can't handle this yearning.
Can't stop my head from spinning,
wishing you were here.
Look at your photo but it still can't hold me,
I just recall the things you never ever told me
Like you're the one and I am
wishing you were here.
Wish you were here
to see the moon in the sky
Oh here, to see the light in your eyes
Looking at the stars and
Wishing you were here.
The clock is ticking but the time moves slowly
The weeks go quickly so you just won't know me
I'm writing love songs and I'm wishing
Wish you were here,
to see the moon in the skies
Oh here, to see the light in your eyes
Looking at the stars and
Wishing you were here
To put a smile on my face
Oh here, to get caught in my
warm embrace
Looking at the stars and
wishing you were here
Bridge:
To calm the restless nights
To kiss my fears away.
Here, to make this wrong seem right
To start our lives today.
Wish you were here,
to see the moon in the skies
Oh here, to see the light in your eyes
Looking at the stars and
Wishing you were here
To put a smile on my face
Oh here, to get caught in my
warm embrace
Looking at the stars and
wishing you were here

No One Can Remember Specifics
No one can remember specifics,
As to what they've done...
To affect the life of someone else.
Even though what was done had been premeditated.
And this depends on what career field they have chosen.
However...
If anyone had looked at them,
With a raised eyebrow...
When they were just five years old,
That person can tell anyone...
What day it was, the time and date.
Weather conditions.
The model of the cars driving past on the street.
And the color of someone's eyes wearing sunglasses,
Two blocks away.
Although...
They can not recall beating someone to a pulp,
In high school.
Or being locked up in juvenile detention for the deed,
Six months before their high school graduation.
And that might have happened,
Just a few years prior to a decision that was made...
To embark on a political career.
Believing they could erase if they so chose to do it,
Any and all of their participation in wickedness.

Just to see your smile
Just to see your smile
Just to see your smile
The stars gather in the sky
And to feel your touch
The wind passes by
Just to see your smile
The waves hit the shores
And the sun wakes up so early
To see you offcourse
Just to see your smile
Fragrance comes into flowers
And to touch your hair
Water pours down in showers
Just to see your smile
The moon follows you everywhere
There’s someone else too who
Often follows you, if you care
Just to see your smile
I can bring down the stars
And decorate your way
With beautiful flowers
Just to see your smile
I have waited for years
Leading a life that was
Sunken deep in tears
Just to see your smile
I can give away
Everything I have
Without any dismay
Just to see your smile
Gives me happiness without measure
I wish I could see it
On your face forever
Just to see your smile
I thank God for these eyes
In five feet four inches
My whole world lies

A Summer In Tuscany
Do you remember, Lucy,
How, in the days gone by
We spent a summer together,
A summer in Tuscany,
In the chestnut woods by the river,
You and the rest and I?
Your house had the largest garden,
But ours was next to the bridge,
And we had a mulberry alley
Which sloped to the water's edge.
You were always talking and laughing
On your side of the hedge.
How many sisters and brothers,
Lucy, then did you own?
Harriet and Francis and Horace
And Phyllis, a flower half--blown.
I liked you more than the others,
For you had the longest gown.
What has become of the laughter,
What of the mulberry trees?
Is there no record in Heaven,
No echo of days like these?
Francis is married and happy
And Horace beyond the seas.
Phyllis was first to desert us,
She had no soul for the Earth
But lingered a guest impatient
Alike of our sorrow and mirth.
Death's step to her on the threshold
Seemed news of a glorious birth.
Harriet, whose eyes were the brightest
The fullest of innocent guile,
Has hidden her joy and our sorrow
Under a Carmelite veil.
They call her the ``mother abbess.''
She has hardly leisure to smile.
Do you remember the ponies
We used to ride on the hill,
Every knee of them broken,
Every back like a quill,
Cesare, Capitano,
Milor and Jack and Jill?
High o'er the plains and the valleys,
Wherever our leader led,
We two, closest of allies,
Were with him still in his tread,
Sworn to be first on his footsteps,
To serve him alive or dead.
Dead--ah dead! Who could think it?
The laughter so strong on his lips
Had seemed an elixir of living.
Where now are his jibes and his quips,
The fair paradoxes he flung us,
The fire of him?--Lost in eclipse!
All are scattered and vanished,
Laughter and smiles and tears,
Gone with the dust on the sandals
Which cling to the feet of the years.
Time has no time to remember,
And Fortune no face for our fears.
Do you remember, Lucy,
The day which too soon had come,
The first sad day of the Autumn,
The last of our summer home,
The day of my journey to England
And yours to your convent at Rome?
We rose with the dawn that morning--
--The others were hardly awake--
And took our walk by the river.
Lucy, did your heart ache?
Or was it the chill of the sunrise
That made you shiver and shake?
Lucy, the dog rose you gave me
Still lies in its secret place.
Lucy, the tears, my fool's answer,
Have left on my cheeks a trace.
The kiss you gave me at parting
I yet can feel on my face.
These are the things I remember.
These are the things that I grieve,
The joys that are scattered and vanished,
The friends I am loath to leave.
I grudge them to death and silence
And age which is death's reprieve.
Vanished, forgotten and scattered,
All but you, Lucy, and I,
Who cling some moments together
Till Time shall have hurried us by:
A moment and yet a moment,
Till we too forget and die!

Children Playing
Children playing in the street
Dirty face and dirty feet
Skipping ropes and singing songs
This will last all summer long
Fresh air as there playing out
Keeps them fit as they run about
Games they play I know so well
As my journey back to my childhood dreams
Remembering the days no money about
All us kids just played out
Ancient games our parents would play
I still remember to this day
Skipping ropes tug of war
And playing tag I adored
Playing out from dawn to dusk
Happy were we school was done
Dinner time what did we care
With so many friends out there
Mum calls us in its getting late
And homely food on a plate
Slept like a log without a doubt
My energy all burnt out
Just what will tomorrow bring
Our gang is talking about building a swing
These pleasant days I remember well
Because many times in my childhood dwell
To see a smile on a Childs face
The world is a happier place

Angel In The Rain
an angel lies on the ground in the rain
what are people doing to her
has to world truly gone insane
when i reach her she seems to be dead
i wanted to help am i to late
i look down and she slowly turns her head
i tell her she will be safe from the crowd
i lift her up and take her away
she looks at me before she passes out
while she is resting on my bed
she shivers and cries
i realise that her heart is sad
your safe here from any harm
i turn to walk away
then she suddenly grabs my arm
with eyes as water she thanks me
don't worry it's ok
why are u treating me so kindly
why would you help me like that
there has to be a catch
i tell her we share wounds of combat
on her face grows a smile
don't leave me alone
just stay next to me for a while
on my cheek she grants me a kiss
i hold her in my arms
and we fall asleep together like this

Turtles And Rabbits
for my sweet memories i like them to be turtles
i like them move so slow
as i recall them, i like them to linger
like soft fingers caressing the
cotton fields of my mind
for the bitter ones, i like them to be rabbits
i like them to jump away from me
i do not like them to pester me like a flea
i want them to be doves i like them to fly away
i do not want them to have a home
i like them to be rivers to flow into the sea
i like them all gone
to the bottom
i like them
rot in the ground, i like them dead
and then forgotten
i think, i am feeling better now
with turtles swiming in a pond
with green leaves on my bed
with rose petals on my head
