Never Give Up On Hope
Never give up on hope never give up who knows what tomorrow will bring
Keep on hoping for a happier future for hope is a marvellous thing
Lady luck she may smile on you good things come to those who wait
Who knows in the not distant future you may have cause to celebrate
A first division win in tattslotto or some other unexpected windfall
Life does have it's good and it's hard times and it's good and bad memories to recall
Never give up on hope always keep on hoping your good times for you may be ahead
You cannot hold much hope for the future if hope in you is all but dead
If you succumb to feelings of negativity the universe out there you do tell
That you are happy with the hard life and you accept an earthly hell

Grown men do cry
Old memories which linger still.
Can bring the tear drops to my eyes
Sometimes they take me by surprise
and cause my tears to freely spill.
I’m not afraid to say they do.
There is no reason I should be.
My memories both old and new
are an integral part of me.
Sometimes they’re tears of happiness
and I am smiling through my tears.
Though other tears recall sadness
that I have suffered through the years.

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;

Sleepless nights don't bother me at all
If dawn comes I won't worry

i hope all is well with you, with dear love letters and blood smeared, i hope all is well with you, i find myself setting these picture afire with the memories of you, oh i hope all is well with you, theirs no match that can reignite the passion of you, there is no knife that can cut the blood i spill trying so valiantly to show you me, oh i hope all is well with you, for when you wake you walk like giants, you speak as if tongues had no meaning, as if waterfalls never shared the same breath with a dam, i hope all is well with you, for when i held your hand i felt meaning in everything, i felt beyond this prison i had created for myself, it seems Ive lost you again, i hope all is well with you, i cant speak your name anymore, it gets lost in the currents of the ocean i no long dare to tread, it gets caught in the telephone wires that never made a connection to the receiver on hold, well operator i hope all is well with you, because im alone here cutting....and i cant take another minute thinking of you, i waste my days in regret of you, well i hope all is well with you, because there is no fracture that will bring me back to you...

Butterfly Thoughts
As fragile as a butterfly wing
as swiftly blown away
my memories take flight at times,
sail to some distant bay
Yet, now and then they gently light
within my wooly head
and with a powdered fluttering
they bring me peace, instead
Sweet memories bring only joy
Sad one bring only pain
My butterfly thoughts
don't tie me in knots,
they're here..then they're gone again.
So if my mind seems far away,
while yours is focused on me
don't make it a moment that spoils your whole day
let go..set your butterflies free
For I remember Love
and it may feed and fuel my soul.
I feel it in a smiling face,
a caring word, a warm embrace;
a hand in mine, showing me the way,
these are the memories of each new day.
And even if that memory
should simply flutter by..
