Honesty and Truth
Through the windows of my soul I see
Divisibility of Truth
Two Entities that dwell within
Each A partnered substitute
The Heart is ruled by Emotive Truth and
Trusts. In Honesty
But The Mind Accepts. Whats only Fact
And Trusts. Logically
Though I believe. What I Believe
With All I am Inside
But My Honest Truth lives in My Heart
The Veritable Truth. In My Mind!

(V - 2009) The Truth of the Truth
The Sages and Seers
That be and have been
Cannot have seen
The truth of the Truth!
What they see as Truth
Is Truth merely
It’s not really
The truth of the Truth!
The Ultimate Truth
Cannot be known
We aren’t that grown –
The truth of the Truth!
We’re part of the Truth
We’re trying to see
We’re yet so tiny –
The truth of the Truth!
Though hard and great
The pains we give
We cannot outlive
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to you once
Remains not the same
So changing the game –
The truth of the Truth!
What’s Truth to a man
Is not Truth to all
That’s what we call
The truth of the Truth!
These thoughts as I pen
It’s Truth to me
It’s to me only
The truth of the Truth!
So Vulnerable
I need to choose.
I need to believe.
The truth in your eyes,
The truth in your kiss,
The truth in your words,
The truth in your Heart.
I need to know.
I need to trust.
The truth in your tears,
The truth in your lips,
The truth in your mind,
The truth in your love.

I Want to Be True
I don't want to be clever or witty or wise
I just want to be true.
Truth?
Truth was us when, inside me, you looked into my eyes and found my love,
Truth was us when we laughed and played,
Truth was us when you cared too much for me to make love to me,
Truth was us, when knowing me, you were brave in your words and helped me be true.
Truth?
Truth was your tenderness, your joy, your heart.
Truth was my surrender, my giving, my happiness.
Truth was your love, was my love, was the love we created between us.
The truth was our honesty and ease.
Truth?
Truth is the emptiness I feel at my loss of you,
Truth is my naïve hope, all present, that you will come to me,
Truth is the pain at night while I grieve for you,
Truth is my smile and my love playing the memories.
Truth is this moment, the now, the present.
The truth is I had something more than wonderful, and I can't have it anymore.
The truth is I so wish I was with you.
Truth?
So many truths?
I will be true in the moment. x

The Honest Truth
the truth is i love you
the truth is i always dream of you at night
the truth is i do my best to hide it from you
the truth is the future is blank without you
the truth is i am hurting
the truth is i am scared
i am scared how i pretend in front of everyone
the truth is a cannot tell anyone of this
the truth is i cannot even tell you
then it starts to hurt even more
the truth is i'm scared to tell you
the truth is you might be scared to break her heart
the truth is i'm scared you might love me too
the truth is i am not happy
the truth is i don't feel the love i want
the truth is i want to be loved by you only
the truth is you're too blind to see
the truth is you might not believe me if i told you
the truth is you might be scared of it
the truth is the emotional distance kills me
the truth is being close to you makes it worse
should i tell you this truth?
would you believe this truth?
the truth....the truth....the truth...
i'm the only one who knows the
and this truth hurts
because the truth is i love you
the truth is i love you
the truth is i still love you....

Truth Is Wealth
Truth is power, truth is true wealth,
Truth is unequalled ultimate strength,
Truth makes soul its own king
And makes the angels in heaven sing,
Truth is joy, truth is sunshine,
Truth is heart's pristine sheen.
Truth is true friend if we side with it,
And the deadliest foe while stand against it,
Truth strikes terror in law-breakers' heart
And shakes those hearts that go short of it,
For truth is all, truth is tall,
No noble soul ever refrains from its call.
Truth is might, truth is true light,
Truth is the path always is right.

The Truth
The Truth
So here we are
We are alone
There's weight on your mind
I wanna know
The truth
If this is how you feel
Say it to me
If this was ever real
[Chorus:]
I want the truth
From you
Give me the truth
Even if it hurts me
I want the truth
From you
Give me the truth
Even if it hurts me
I want the truth
So this is you
You talking to me
You found a million ways to let me down
So I'm not hurt when you're not around
I was blind
But now I see
This is how you feel
Say it to me
If this was ever real
[Chorus]
I know that this will break me
I know that this might make me cry
You gotta say what's on your mind, on your mind
I know that this will hurt me
And break my heart and soul inside
But I don't wanna live this life
[Chorus]
I don't care no more, no
Just give me the truth
Give me the truth
Cuz I don't care no more
Give me the truth
Cuz I don't care no more, no
Just give me the truth
Give me the truth
Give me the truth
Give me the truth
Give me the truth
Cuz I don't care no more, no

Truth of Heart...
Truth be told …
In this soul in this mind is this heart a shrine
Pictures of this life a true heart you will find
Look into this heart of mind speaks of this life
Held in hand a truth of love memories of a kind
Sending love of messages of this love of mind
True to heart impatiently waiting for each line
Oh this heart answers when upon sounds ring
Of this soul of heart listening to who it brings
Truth be known of this heart beats of this life
Heart to ear speaks this mind within those near
In and of favorites who will be the one endeared
A cell phone is your heart within which a truth lies

The Battle Between Lie And Truth
I lied
Throughout my life
My truth hid behind
Thoughts started
Bothering my mind
How long one can hide?
Truth ultimately shines
The moment
I opened my mouth
To reveal the truth
My past resisted
With all the might
Asking me to desist
From
Exposing all my truth
People shall hate
When they see
My true face
I replied
The fear of truth
Increased my lies
Weight increased
On my heart and mind
Peace and solace
Went far away
Everybody knows
Each one
Is double faced
May be one
Changes the mind
Decides to think
The way I thought
To reveal the truth
And end the battle
Between lie and truth
Win peace
For the heart and mind

Not To Be Heard
You do not want to hear this.
It is Truth that should be told.
But this Truth would change your Heart.
And a Truth you cannot hold.
It is Truth within my Heart.
A Truth that would make you leave.
For the pain my Truth would cause
Would make you to not believe.
So I must face Truth alone.
Leave it not for you to see.
To be secure in it's fact
And to keep it, for only me.

Truth
Every day there is a lot of “truth”
Truth according to science
Truth according to law
Every person holds their own truth
Truth according to religion
Truth according to culture
Every time we must decide what should we trust
Truth according to your own heart or
Truth according to some power

Sacrifice not the truth
Not to thy lips
Sacrifice not the truth
To thy brute egotism
Not to thy heart
Sacrifice not the truth
To thy vengeful ill logic
Not to thy spirit
Sacrifice not the truth
To the baneful intentions
Not to thy soul
Sacrifice not the truth
To the sharp arrows of thy lies
Love the truth
Where you are the truth
Shall be your sister
And thy loving companion
The truth you love to tell
Will stand by you will
Forgive you readily without
Hurt and set you free to enjoy
Your truthful honest lived life

Like Leaves On a Tree
There is so much honesty in truth.
Don't you think?
Once that is known...
It doesn't have to be shown.
One can see it.
Like leaves on a tree.
There is so much truth in honesty too!
Don't you think?
Some people don't believe this.
They percieve truth,
As something they can create.
Something they can change,
When they feel it is out of date.
Some people even lie.
This is true.
Some tell different colored ones...
Just to prove the 'real' ones,
Aren't what they tell to undo!
Some people embellish,
And exaggerate themselves.
Knowing with a consciousness,
Truth and honest...
Does not within them dwell.
They are the ones,
Who love to dance and sing around the bush.
Beat it a few times with assisted innocent looks.
Then expect to be forgiven...
To escape a punishment.
Like children told over and over,
Not to do something done.
But do...
And yet expect not to get caught,
When in clear view.
There is so much honesty in truth.
Don't you think?
Once that is known...
It doesn't have to be shown.
One can see it.
Like leaves on a tree.

Truth Is Truth
Truth is
Weapons can not cut you
Fire can not burn you
Water can not wet you
Wind can not dry you
And You are in truth
You are the truth

I know truth is
Imperishable
I know truth is
Indefinable
I know truth is
Eternal
Pursuing truth
I know Truth is
Final.

Truth
We must recognized
Truth
Always present
And untruth has
No existence.

Thats The Truth
I said I dont love you, and I aint never been your fool
Thats a lie, and thats the truth
And if its over makes no difference if were through.
Thats a lie, and thats the truth
Chorus:
I said go on, Ill be just fine
I wont fall apart, or go out of my mind
I said no one could break my heart
But youre living proof
Thats a lie, and thats the truth
I dont mind the darkness alone in this room
Thats a lie, and thats the truth
I like bein lonely, yeah, I aint missin you
Thats a lie, and thats the truth
(repeat chorus)
And if you find somebody
Who says they love you more than I do
Thats a lie, and thats the truth

The perception of truth
Fact exists, truth needs to be believed
My truth is important to me
I also understand that
Your truth is important, to you
My life is not just a single truth
But a village of many kinds of truth
The version you believe, may be different from mine
And both versions are true, to each of us
The duality of truth
Fights for resolution
And yet, coexists
Quietly, when it needs to
Funny concept this truth
Does fact indeed exist?
And do we really need,
To believe the truth?
Are both just empty shadows
We chase, to play our role
In a divine comedy
For an audience of one

Truth and Lies
Is the truth beyond our lies,
Say what you want,
Watch what you say,
For our hidden lies, we must pay.
In the darkness of the night,
In the brightness of the day,
Truth and lies have gone astray.
Does your truth contain a lie?
Black as coal, the midnight sky.
Truth will shine,
It is the light,
To tell the truth,
With a soul so bright.
Is truth defined just in the mind?
In the Prince of Darkenss lies defined.
Love of the truth will scorn the Devil,
Our truth must stay at our highest level.
Of these shortcomings,
Are we aware?
That we speak of lies so unaware!
Every lie turns the truth aside,
Our secret truths, we sometimes hide.

The Truth It Can Be Hurtful
I may not like what you say of me but if of me you speak the truth
Though the truth it can be hurtful if it is not spoken without ruth
The truth cannot defame me if of me the truth you say
And if the truth taints my character well that too is okay.
But if you tell lies about someone and know them to be lies
Then the dislike I'd feel for one like you i barely could disguise
For lies can be defamatory when used in such a way
Any respect to a malicious liar i would find hard to pay.
The truth it can be hurtful as we all ought to know
But out of the truth it can be said respect for one does grow
And though you may not like what's said about you at least what's said is true
And to the one who speaks the truth credit is always due.
The truth it can be hurtful but the truth is never wrong
And those who cannot accept the truth mentally cannot grow strong
And though for some the truth is poison they'd rather live a lie
The truth lives on forever and the truth will never die.

True Change
They live as if they don’t know, God above, as they come and go,
Always moving in and out of iniquity, as with eyes that cannot see.
They say that they really believe, and God’s Truth they did receive,
But, their own life has no proof, that they ever embraced The Truth.
Truth that changes how men live, through the Spirit, Christ will give,
Not just to some, but all men, who come to God, to be born again.
Sinful men, who by God’s love, are born anew, of the Spirit above,
God’s Holy Spirit, sent by Christ, to create in believers, a New Life.
The indwelling Spirit starts the change, when believing in the Name,
Of Jesus Christ, unto salvation, who then begins His New Creation.
Transforming our heart and mind, to leave our former ways behind,
Changing our wants and our ways, transforming lives to His Praise.
Through conviction, God will start, His brand new work in our heart,
Turning a heart and mind to Him, to move one from their life of sin,
Moving the heart, who truly trusts, away from sin and worldly lusts;
With open eyes they begin to see, the importance of Life Eternally.
That eternal life begins down here, in a heart moved by Godly fear,
Inspiring change in the present life, to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.
If in your heart there’s no change, while your life remains the same,
Maybe you have been deceived, because you never truly believed.
