Flying in the sky,
Gazing down upon the world,
A speck in the sky,

Speck Like Me

I’m often perplex that the same God who made the heavens and the earth took time to make a speck like me.

Why would the same God who put water in the lakes, oceans and seas; want to create a speck like me?
For I can’t fly

like His birds. Neither can I shine like his sun. But low and behold He is still proud of a speck like me.

Now, in this world there are those who seem to believe that they are bigger than life, but they too are only a speck like me.

Flying

D. mccafferty/p. agnew/d. sweet/m. charlton
Here I am flying
Looking down at mother earth below
Above me only blue skies
Below me is a cotton candy world
Here I am dreaming
Plane Im on flies gently as a bird
Captain said something
But I never heard single word
Here I am flying
Look above you
Ill be watching you
Maybe you wont see me
But soon Ill be flying
Soon Ill be flying home to you
Gazing at the sunrise
Homeland sure looks green far down below
Now were almost landed
I can see the hostess by the door
Here I am flying
Look above you
Ill be watching you
Maybe you wont see me
But soon Ill be flying
Soon Ill be flying home to you
Wont be long till I see
Bridges on our river
Looking at the old familiar lights
Wont be long till well be
Making up for countless sleepless nights
Here I am flying
Looking down at mother earth below
Above me only blue skies
Below me is a cotton candy world
Here I am flying
Look above you
Ill be watching you
Maybe you wont see me
But soon Ill be flying
Soon Ill be flying home to you

Will not a tiny speck very close to our vision blot out the glory of the world, and leave only a margin by which we see the blot? I know no speck so troublesome as self.

Flying

Forever is ending
But you see a deer
Love isn't bending
It's gone with the beer
And I know that I am feeling better
Mary wants to love me so I'll let her
Chains and the irons
Have fallen off of me
I am much much lighter
Everyone can see
And I know that I am feeling better
Suzi wants to love me so I'll let her
I'm flying
I'm flying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
Ain't lying
No crying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
Singing so loudly
I'm drowning out the birds
Singing nothing special
Just any happy words
And I know that I'm feeling better
Sally wants to love me so I'll let her
I'm flying
I'm flying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
Ain't lying
No crying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
I'm gliding
I'm soaring
I'm riding
I'm sweeping
I'm flying high
I'm flying
And I know that I am feeling better
Mary wants to love me so I'll let her
I'm flying
I'm flying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
Ain't lying
No crying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
I'm flying
I'm flying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
Ain't lying
No crying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before
I'm flying
I'm flying
Look at me
I'm flying
I'm flying higher than ever before

A Speck Of A Speck Am I!

a speck of a speck am i!
&
a speck of a speck am i
underneath this vast dome of sky-
no millionth of a second
without changes around me;
activities incessant, both silent and noisy-
every moment new, every moment fresh;
to one who has searching senses
and penetrating vision
no end to wonder, no way to boredom-
the clouds speak in silence
the blue hugs you close
the green kisses the cheeks
the flowers communicate in colours-
endless arrays of universes
shout at their high-pitched silences
crying for our ears and attention
through mind-boggling distances-
o man, be alert and tune yourself
to the unheard voices
and keep your spirit ever in joy!

a Walk home after dark

Cars speed past
and their lights search
to find direction
in the rush of the city.

The last red rays of the sun
are dying behind
the ridges
and dusk brings
the darkness of night.

I see the lights appearing high
up in the night sky
and they burn,
as it was
from the beginning of time.

I see a new light hanging bright
where I did not see anything
on a previous night
and it gets brighter
and I wonder
if any Unidentified Flying Objects
are watching us?

Or are some countries
flying secret objects of war,
high up in the night sky?

Is this world like a stage
which creatures from
other worlds
watch for the final ends
to appear?

At times I wonder
what judgement waits
on every one of us?

Or if we are just
another speck
in the big scheme of things
and does destiny
just let the pieces fall
as they may?

Two new lights appear
and I hear the jet engines
of a low flying plane
and it disappears in the distance.

Dark shadows fall
from across the street
and I am wary,
but it’s only trees
that moves in the strong wind.

Ever Dream Of Flying

Ever dream of flying,
With my arms spread out,
And my feet behind me.
I fly like I have done so a million times,
In different dreams and different times.

Ever dream of flying,
Seeing the city bellow.
The houses all lit in the night,
People looking out their windows.

Ever dream of flying,
One minute flying past vast cities.
The next moment I am flying past mountains,
And then Back to my house, my home.

Ever dream of flying,
That it seems so odd not to fly when you wake.
It seems the dream was real and this world,
Was not so real at all.

Ever dream of flying,
Swooping low to help a loved one.
Flying fast to do the heroic thing,
Saving a dear one from catastrophe,
Like a movie, but only a dream.

Ever dream of flying,
Or am I the only dreamer that flies,
Fleeting past new cities,
Seeing the sights by night and by day,
Flying like in a dream.

The abstract star

At one time everything slips into the past

Let me take it for granted
that I am flying in the sky
over my head below my feet
beginning from the fingers of
my outspread hands the endless sky

The sky of the night of the dark moon
the enchanting endless sky
of the night of the dark moon

“Do not start your journey on the night of the dark moon”

The known warning of my mother’s simple faith
yet I was born in such a dark night
she hides thing truth from me

The star gazing at which I am flying
in enchanting sky of this night
is dead is it’s sky in the same present
yet it is living for me
it is the living abstract star of the projected truth

At one time everything slips into the past

Am I going or flying
gazing at the star
just assume by
my own reasoning

What a pleasure in making assumption
many a journey begins with such assuming
what is the end of all these journeys
the abstract star of my assumed sky

Used to be

How many years ago, u
Came to me, saying hi

Hi for what, u has
Grown up, can be flying

Flying to where, a
Dreaming world

World to be the best
Just u and me

Afterwards,
Our two kids coming to
This world bringing happiness

We call them flower and sun
There are everywhere around
Lighten our home, our heart

From then on,
They have a family

The Artists

you are the best artists
You hang my skin on the wall and drew me with ulna dip into my blood
You are great
You drew my face on your heart and paint it with love
You sew my name on your lip and pin it to the cloud
You background me with you in the distant future
Holding our seeds with smile of euphoria
You are my artist
You drew my mistakes on my chest and erase
It with your hand wrapping me softly
You blend our soul and mind and mount it as a kite flying the banner of bliss
You are beautiful
I've paint your heart with musk, your lip with honey and you skin with amber
We are both an artist
We carved ourselve with due
You clipped my eyes to the moon
I clipped the stars to you hair with galaxies of flower decorating our world
You my artist
You drew me with the world gazing at your statue hanging on the sky with flying nymphs sing songs of our artistic shadow

My star, come tonight
When the season is delight
Only you and I everywhere
Before us, the world unaware
Night is important for only
There shines a star lonely
You may be call the same
Jealousy-you are to blame
You are responsible for mine
Looking at the sky when it shine
I just go on gazing and gazing
Everything before me looks amazing.

The singing falcon (hybridanelle)

I heard the falcon’s cry,
a myth of native lore
from high up in the sky

like a golden-hot ray
it came from the sun
at the break of day

sublime the notes came as I
walked the veldt, with beauty at the core.
I heard the falcon’s cry;

it was very high and far away
only a speck in the solar gradient,
it came from the sun.

I could not see it with my eye
it turned on upper winds to explore
from high up in the sky

it was triumphant, glowing radiant,
pure as light turned to sound
only a speck in the solar gradient,

the air was azure and the day was dry
and I was on the track of a lone lion before
I heard the falcon’s cry

and great beauty that I found
as if hearing a flying trumpet sing
pure as light turned to sound

I saw the soaring predator fly
with claws and beak ready to gore
from high up in the sky

and it made my ears ring,
inside its resonance
as if hearing a flying trumpet sing

a thing no money could buy
or imitate in a musical score.
I heard the falcon’s cry
from high up in the sky

pristine without dissonance
like a golden-hot ray
inside its resonance
at the break of day.

Multicolored Butterfly

There was a multicolored butterfly flying in the air
A multicolored butterfly- who did not have a care.
Going from flower to flower for all the world to see
The beauties of nature made for you and me.
People stopping and talking and gazing upon its wings
This is one of the wonders GOD gave us.
And such a beautiful thing.

This multicolored butterfly flew around my head
I knew if I grabbed it- then soon it would be dead.
They have a life expectancy of seventy two hours you see
And that is the reason it has to be free.

They have a place called butterfly world
In a town called coconut creek
I knew I had to go there
I had to take a peek.

They had butterflies from all over the world
And a quick class to show, all the boys and girls.
There is so much about butterflies that I didn’t know
They can see colors of red, yellow, and green
But nothing in between.
They sip nectars from flowers through their tongues
And smell through their antennae, and taste with
Their feet, and breathe through the sides of their bodies
That in itself is a learning treat.
So to this butterfly that’s flying around my head
I salute and praise your beauty till the moment
That you’re dead.
I will mourn for you for the short time that you lived.
Because in that time, you had so much to give.

Here To Stay

Here To Stay
Who is this man
That follows me
This blue eyed boy
Who wants to be
This worthy cause
Of human kind
This pawn set up by time
Like a bright light on the horizon
Shining so bright, he'll get you flying
He'll drive you away, he'll drive you insane
But then he'll remove all of your pain
Like a bright light on the horizon
Shining so bright, he'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, he'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, flying, flying
This open book
Yet to be read
This second look
This leap ahead
The hope I held inside
With you, was kept alive
Like a bright light on the horizon
Shining so bright, he'll get you flying
He'll drive you away, he'll drive you insane
But then he'll remove all of your pain
Like a bright light on the horizon
Shining so bright, He'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, He'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, flying, flying
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
We're here to stay
Like a bright light on the horizon
Shining so bright, he'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, he'll get you flying
He'll get you flying, flying, flying

Flying For Me

This song appears on five albums, and was first released on the one world album, and has also been released on the a portrait, country classics, the rocky mountain collection and the country roa
Llection albums.
Well I guess that you probably know by now
I was one who wanted to fly
I wanted to ride on that arrow of fire right up into heaven
And I wanted to go for every man
Every child, every mother of children
I wanted to carry the dreams of all people right up to the stars
And I prayed that Id find an answer there
Or maybe I would find a song
Giving a voice to all of the hearts that cannot be heard
And for all of the ones who live in fear
And all of those who stand apart
My being there would bring us a little step closer together
They were flying for me
They were flying for everyone
They were trying to see a brighter day for each and everyone
They gave us their light
They gave us their spirit and all they could be
They were flying for me
They were flying for me
And I wanted to wish upon the milky way
And dance upon a falling star
I wanted to give myself and free myself, and join myself with it all
Given the chance to dream, it can be done
The promise of tomorrow is real
Children of spaceship earth
The future belongs to us all
She was flying for me
She was flying for everyone
She was trying to see a brighter day for each and everyone
She gave us her light
She gave us her spirit and all she can be
She was flying for me
They were flying for me
They were flying for everyone
They were trying to see a brighter day for each and everyone
They gave us their light
They gave us their spirit and all they can be
They were flying for me
They were flying for me
They were flying for me
They were flying for me

Wisdom

When Wisdom tells me that the world’s a speck
Lost on the shoreless blue of God’s To-Day...
I smile, and think, ‘For every man his way:
The world’s my ship, and I’m alone on deck!’
And when he tells me that the world’s a spark
Lit in the whistling gloom of God’s To-Night...
I look within me to the edge of dark,
And dream, ‘The world’s my field, and I’m the lark,
Alone with upward song, alone with light!’

The Eagle [2]

The pillars of its wings
are tremendously strong things
that pushes it up high into the sky
before it turns and glides with a scanning eye
while in its merciless talons lurks death
and in the time of a gasp of breath
lightning quick it does fall
and at first seems a speck and small
but in an instant becomes a deadly thing
that rushes in flying.

Time Is Not Our Cage (Gabry Ponte Power Cut)

We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
and forever we go on
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
Born to be forever young
Children of eternity
Always searching for a faster race
Defeating what time wants to be
There's no king
In this place
Like a star that belongs to the sky
And the times are our names in your mind
Our souls are the wings as we fly
Against time
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
and forever we go on
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
Born to be forever young
Just like an old song that's playing a tune
That revives what seems lost in the past
With dignity fighting for whom
In a way
Wants to last
Like a friendship of 10 years ago
That is frozen inside of a picture
That tomorrow can cancel and go
Against time
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
and forever we go on
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
born to be forever young
Free as a soul is
Far beyond all the boundries of time
Its you mark that lives on
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
and forever we go on
We are flying
and we're flying high till the end
We are men without an age
Time is not out cage
born to be forever young

Les Cigares Volants

We are here waiting
A few know this place
With our lens were looking
Scrutinize the space
Flying cigars
A given name for UFO:s
Flying cigars
Fire this one and watch the show
In the sky dancing
They are telling a story
Back and forward moving
An awesome scenery
Flying cigars
The coolest name for UFO:s
Flying cigars
Up in the sky, anything goes
Makes me high!
Turns me on!
There are some making loops
There are some spinning round
There are some caught in flames
And some land on the ground
Flying cigars
Give me a ride to Mars on these flying cigars
