Colours of the earth
a pot of gold shining bright
Rainbows given birth.

There Are White Flowers In Her Hair

There are white flowers in her hair,
blue-white stars when she laughs
in her eyes shining like rainbows,
with a own innocent beauty

with the coming of spring in the air
between the blooming flowers,
in rainbows shining like her eyes,
she finds where the prettiest flowers grow,

she is bounded to loveliness,
she notices roses that are dark like blood
in her eyes shining like rainbows,
but in her cheeks there is a gloss.

Delighted she stands at corn fields
clouds dark and white,
in rainbows shining like her eyes
there is somewhere a pot of gold.

Rainbow of my Life

You put rainbow into my life
Different colors, so bright
Rainbows that full of life
That gives colors to the lonely skies

Rainbows end is a pot of gold they say
A treasure to keep as long you stay
Rainbow is like a man or a woman in our lives
It shines, gives us colors, gives us life
That would shine through the rest of our lives

But sometimes rainbows are gone
Not shining nor not giving colors in the clouds
Nor not giving life to the lonely skies
When its so hot and dry

Rainbows is like a life
Giving us water when everything is drought
Giving us colors when everything turns out dark
Making us smile for the different colors they had

You are like my rainbow
You give colors to my life
You give meaning to my lonely nights

But as like rainbows
Sometimes they are gone
Sometimes they don't show
Sometimes not giving us life

You are my rainbow
For a moment in my life
But now, my rainbow is gone
The shines, the colors, the bright
For my rainbow will never shine again
To my lonely life

Our Rainbow

The rainbows with the pot of gold
are not the rainbows made with multicolour
that follow the rain across the sky.
They are the rainbows within us,
the ones that cross our heart.
They are the ones that hold our dreams
and when we realise they are there
we will then find our pot of gold.
We must first believe in our dreams,
as they are our pot of gold.
Believe and work on them
making sure that each one comes true.
Then and only then will we find
our rainbow with its pot of gold.

Nature's Resplendent Rainbows!

Beyond the rainbows circling high
Above us all to make us sigh,
God puts His rainbows in our hearts
And we express them through the arts!
The urge to fashion fancy things
Is also in the one who sings,
Or sculpts, or paints away the hours,
Lost in wonder at God's flowers!

Beneath the oceans far and wide
A treasure trove is locked inside!
And scuba-divers all agree,
The colours there bring ecstasy!
This Earth that circles round the Sun
Is favoured by the Holy One!
It's not too near, it's not too far...
Just close enough, blessed by the star!

Perhaps, we, too, are like the Earth,
Precisely set regarding birth...
To ever move more close to Him
Within this new millennium!
The Earth obeys eternal laws
Oblivious to theme or cause...
Are we not more than stars above
Created with the Gift of Love! ?

The Spirit of the Lord is here,
Abundantly in those held dear!
And unseen angels walk the Earth
To minister to those of worth!
Thus even sinners are forgiven
By the crimson Blood of Heaven!
And so, let's make God's rainbows shine!
God bless your heart... and God bless mine...

The Colours of Autumn

Coppery red leaves,
Falling from trees,
That soon will be bare.

The colours of Autumn.

Piles of reddish brown,
Lying scattered on the ground.
And a chill in the air.

The colours of Autumn.

The sky is grey,
Shorter days,
And darker nights.

The colours of Autumn.

Evenings bathed in gold,
Thunderclouds so bold,
And weaker sun, not as bright.

The colours of Autumn.

The Colours Of Love

The colours of love,
The colours of unity,
The colours of peace,
The colours of humility,
the colours of care,
The colours of passion,
The colours of romance,
The colours of the mind,
The colours of your works,
The colours of mankind;
But, let true love come out from your heart!
For, in peace and unity we have to live on this earth together:
Than, the bullets of war that divides us always! ! !

Rainbows

I once travelled to the West of Scotland, to the town of Ayr,
And the most magnificent rainbow, I remember seeing there.
The rain was still pouring down, but the sun was shining bright;
These two factors mixed together, created a most magical sight.

The sight of such beauty, made me catch my breath,
But, I knew that, soon, the rainbow would die a death.
All too soon, after the rainbow had, into the sky, evolved,
Than it disappeared, back into the clouds, and dissolved.

The arc of vibrant colours, which I’d seen there before,
Faded away, leaving the sky, dull and grey, once more.
A multicoloured rainbow, I really do love to see;
It is one of those ‘wow! ’ moments in life, for me.

From the rainbow, I found it hard to steal my eyes away;
It helped to brighten up, what was really a miserable day.
It’s still a mystery where rainbows start and end:
I still don’t know the answer: do you, my friend?

Any rainbow which, by me, is sighted,
Makes my soul awake and feel excited.
Upon my face, there appears a bright smile,
As I watch the arc stretch away, over the miles.

I wish a rainbow was tangible: something I could hold.
Rainbows are always fresh and new: they never get old.
I’m always amazed how each individual colour is so clear.
A rainbow is a rare sight, which never ceases to bring cheer.

Through The Eyes Of A Poet

Through the eyes of a poet
The stars shone so brightly
the moonbeams danced across the wave
flickering lights spreads its glow
into the deepest darkest night
starlight’s shining deep into the night
until the flicker of dawn
rays of sunshine spread across the land
warming the grass the sand
one looks upon the beauty
that mother nature displays
in rainbows of colours
that splash across the day
winds whisper softly in the breeze
butterfly gently flutter in its wake
dancing and swaying to the midsummer breeze
one sighs as we feel the sunshine warm on our face
embracing the beauty that sprawls its splendor around me
Then high above the sky painted
In colours by the hands of our Lord father from above
Shines the rainbow of colours
To remind us the beauty
Of the Earth
Our mother land

Light Show Over The Lake; Part II

Above the earth, below the sky,
I can hear the joyful cry,
They hug and love under my light,
as I display my colours bright.

I gladden the delirious
as I shine like Sirius,
raining gold, silver and blue;
bursting with joy is all I can do.

I shine over waters and seas,
O! how happy the people will be,
when I rise out of the gloom and murk,
and burst its gold like a true firework.

An Autumn Day

Floating all night on waves of clouds
Searching for what life enshrouds
Woke in the morning to the misty dew
Lost in thought of the day anew.

I gaze from the window onto the lawn
And engage my thoughts on the new dawn
The colours and signs of seasonal bliss
These are things you should not miss.

Autumn colours of red, brown and gold
The landscape before you do unfold
Trees burn bright against the sun
The afternoon is nearly done.

As the sun goes down the colours surround
Red, yellow, orange melt into the ground
Night time falls and the colours hue
Turning the sky to a deeper blue.

The moon is out in all it's glory
The stars twinkle bright and showy
As the last of the stars fade away
Comes the breaking of a new day.

JAZZ and RAINBOWS

What is Jazz - What is a Rainbow?
You can ask the questions - don't expect answers

Jazz is free and yet constrained
Rainbows come and go as they please

Jazz is wild and yet restrained
Rainbow can't exist without rain

Jazz is open and yet contained
Rainbows always have red at the top

Jazz is unscored and yet maintained
Rainbows can be single - double - triple

Just as Jango Rheinhardt said to Segovia
Senor it ees all in ze 'ed
The same is true of rainbows
Zey are all inside my 'ed!

It takes all the colours of pure white sound
To create jazz.
It takes all the colours of pure white light
To create a rainbow.

Jazz and rainbows operate on the same principle
In jazz the tone colours are separated by the players
In a rainbow the visible colours are separated by a raindrop
Jazz and rainbows are boh equally beautiful.

After the rain there are stll some drops in the atmosphere
They refract the white light into R O Y G B I V,
In the same way the 'Jazz Combo' is able to dissect.
The white sound of music is disected by the musicains

On a sunny day - the white light hits the raindrop
The colours are dispersed forming the rainbow.
In jazz - each member if the Combo has a colour!
The double bass has red - the saxaphone is orange!

The percussion is yellow - the brass is green
The clarinet is blue - trhe banjo is indigo
The guitar is violet and the piano is striped!
The combo plays and whiite sound is re-produced.

Because we are humans our senses of life are acute.
Our eyes for colour and our ears for sound.
The quality of this provision enables us to distinguish colour
And to distinguish between all the tones and semi-tones.

So next time you see a rainbow - think jazz
And the rainbow will dance for you
Next time you hear some jazzy jazz - think rainbow
And the tone colours of the jazz will spring out at you.

Rainbow Love...

Spring showers advance with darkened sky,
They don't last long and soon they die.
Puddles of liquid life left upon my lawn,
Mother earth drinks her fill and soon they're gone.

I raise my head to gaze into the sky,
I watch the grey clouds as they float by.
My eyes are drawn to a brilliant arc of coloured light,
A rainbow is always such a wonderous sight.

With yellows and greens, reds and blues,
Indigo, violet and sparkling golden hues.
This brilliant arc stands out against dark skies,
A gift to the soul witnessed through the eye's.

As I watch the rainbow streak across the skies,
I recall a myth that rainbows end holds a prize.
It's a fairytale that has been long told,
That rainbows mark a pot of shining gold.

The moral of this tale is here for all to hold,
The true wealth we seek is not made of gold.
The love and care of those we hold so dear,
Is the treasure we should seek to hold so near...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

A Butterflys Life

A butterfly flutters
its wings of delight
in the soft gentel breeze
it flickers to life
its colours like rainbows
flash briefly for a day
in fields full of colours
they spread wings
and fly away
they hover in midflight
it finds its mate for life
and they become one
in the midsummer sun
then together they climb
dazzling, turning
Ecstasy of delight
climaxing on high
impregnating new life
then finding a leaf
to lay down their eggs
flutter drifting
from flower to leaf
exhausted from joining
they slowly flutter down
and glide together
with one final flight
and there they lay
both colours so bright
slowly fade into
Mother Natures
garden of life

Entranced for Grandaughter Chitra

I saw two rainbows intertwine
their colours were identical.
Together forming a design
which I found doubly beautiful.
I’ve often seen a single bow
they’re not at all unusual.
A band of pastel colours show
delicately ethereal.
But never had I seen before
two rainbow arches in the sky
Two matching bands of colours soar
across the sky majestically.
I stood entranced by what I saw.
What philistine could ask for more.

Shining Starr! !

shining star, shining star,
for how you shine so bright
your my wonderful delight.

shining star, shining star,
why is it you?
is is because i loved you to much?
too much i couldnt see.

shining star, shining star,
my heart is breaking,
i didnt have a clue what to do,
until the day come when i met you.

shining star, shining star,
i feel so used,
but why is this?
i have no clue.

shining star, shining star,
its not only you personality that shines to me,
its you insanity.

ohh shining star, shining star,
what am i going to do without you?
i need you in my life again,
to tell you its alright,
because i love you soo much,
its more than words could write,
now back to reality,
so time to go for now,
but i shall be back.. I MISS YOU! ! !

A Song Of The Degrees

I
Rest me with Chinese colours,
For I think the glass is evil.

II
The wind moves above the wheat-
With a silver crashing,
A thin war of metal.

I have known the golden disc,
I have seen it melting above me.
I have known the stone-bright place,
The hall of clear colours.

III
O glass subtly evil, O confusion of colours !
O light bound and bent in, soul of the captive,
Why am I warned? Why am I sent away?
Why is your glitter full of curious mistrust?
O glass subtle and cunning, O powdery gold!
O filaments of amber, two-faced iridescence!

Colours

Why do people use colours?
To define were you belong

Gang colours are so mundane
Why not use them as intended

Red for the rose
She holds so dear
And so close to her heart

Blue for the hope
That only lies
With in your soul

Green for the beauty
In Mother Natures
Brush in life

Black for the beauty
Of night laden sky's
We view from our heart

Yellow so bold and bright
That dances on fields that
Sends golden rays of sunshine
In our lives

Brown for the cookies
Mother makes
For us to gorge with glee

Grey that hides the shadow
That we often try to hide

Purple for the beauty
That hides the colour pink

All these woven together
A statement from god above
In rainbows of colours
That touches our heart and souls

Isn't that what they are intended for?
To be held in our dreams
Now and evermore

Tell Her, I AM

Tell her, I AM how beautiful you are
show her how to find your glory
in just one bright shining star

Send love in things that are bizarre
and peace in what is gory
tell her, I AM how beautiful you are

Let her know her life so far
is a truly great love story
in just one bright shining star

As she drinks the nectar
and fights off Satan's fury
tell her, I AM how beautiful you are

Remain her Lord - protect her
from every kind of worry
in just one bright shining star

As she grows helpless in a sector
and forgets momento mori
tell her, I AM how beautiful you are
in just one bright shining star

Lilac And Gold And Green

Lilac and gold and green!
Those are the colours I love the best,
Spring's own raiment untouched and clean,
When the world is awake and yet hardly dressed,
And the stranger sun, her bridegroom shy,
Looks at her bosom and wonders why
She is so beautiful, he so blest.

Lilac and green and gold!
Those were the colours you wore to--day,
Robed you were in them fold on fold,
Clothed in the light of your love's delay.
And I held you thus in my arms, once only,
And wondered still, as you left me lonely,
How the world's beauty was changed to grey.

Lilac and gold and green!
I would die for the truth of those colours true!
Lilac for loyalty, gold for my queen,
And green the faith of my love for you.
Here is a posy of all the three.
My heart is with it. So think of me,
And our weeping skies shall once more be blue.
