Gumdropp Glades
Somewhere far away from the city streets
A meadow of green cotton candy blades
Rolls upon a mound of chocolatey dirt
And the warm cinnamon winds gently flirt
While geysers of cocoa playfully spurt
In a place kids all know, simply, as Gumdropp Glades
Ask Lil' Lew Lemondropp who knows the way
Where the candy's free for the bill's been paid
And the children can eat the sweets all day
Without their teeth ever showing decay
And there are no adults to scowl and say
'Don't spoil your appetite down in Gumdropp Glades'
Someday you should go adventure to see
What lies just past the tall forest blockades
Where the brook that babbles past forest trees
In the glade, turns into sweetest sweet tea
And candy cane bluffs... Quite a sight to see
That rise up high on three sides down in Gumdropp Glades
I hear when we see it we'll lose control
And drink the waterfall of lemonade
While small gumdrops dropp from trees as they sway
We'll wish there would be no end to that day
As we play playfully as children play
When our hopeful eyes finally spy Gumdropp Glades
We'll wish there would be no end to that day
As we play playfully as children play
And we'll hope that we can, forever, stay
Within a gingerbread house, down in Gumdropp Glades

The Candy Man
Come my child,
Come & play for a while.
I have candy & sweets for you,
If you’re a good boy I’ll give you cakes too.
Eat, eat as much as you like.
Don’t worry about anything my little tyke.
For tonight we shall eat & eat,
And have us a great little feast.
Of food beyond your wildest dreams,
Just stay here with me, for all as it seems.
And stay, stay just for a while.
So says the little candy man,
Watch for the little candy man.
For he may eat you, in a stew, or a can,
Or he’ll eat you alive in a frying pan.
Come, come my child,
Come & play for a while.
As I sharpen my forks & knifes,
I am so lonely for you see, little child I have no wives.
So you keep me company in my great little feast,
All I’ll need is little more salt & a little yeast.
First I’ll cut you up & drink your blood,
Skin you nice & throw it in the mud.
There you go in the oven to bake,
As I watch your dead little eyes still awake.
Come, come my child, & play for a while.
So says the little candy man,
Watch for the little candy man.
For he may eat you, in a stew, or a can,
Or he’ll eat you alive in a frying pan.

I Want Candy
I know a girl who's tough but sweet
She's so fine she can't be beat
Shes got everything that I desire
she sets the summer sun on fire
Chorus:
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
Goin' to see her when the sun goes down
There ain't no finer girl in town
You're my girl, You're what the doctor ordered
A treat so sweet ya make my mouth water
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
Candy on the beach, there's nothing better
But I like candy when it's wrapped in leather
Someday soon I'll make her mine
And then I'll have Candy all the time
I said..I said...
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy

So Like Candy
So Like Candy
Here lies the powder and perfume
The pretty clothes are scattered 'round the room
And it's so like Candy
Here lies the lipstick and the face
The colored tablets keep it all in place
And it's so like Candy
So like Candy
What did I do
To make her go
Why must she be the one
That I have to love so
So like Candy
Here lies a picture of a girl
Her arms are tight around that lucky guy
And it's so like Candy
And in her eyes a certain look
I thought I'd seen the last of long ago
And it's so like Candy
So like Candy
What did I do
To make her go
Why must she be the one
That I have to love so
I remember the day that picture was taken
We were so happy then
But that's so like Candy
She seemed so sweet to me
I was mistaken
Oh no not that again
But that's so like Candy
She just can't face the day
So she turns and melts away
Here lie the records that she scratched
And on the sleeve I find a note attached
And it's so like Candy

Candy candy not so good
Candy candy not so good,
Ouch my teeth hurt,
Candy candy not so good.
Candy candy stuck in my teeth!
Mm..
That lovely taste..
It's just so sweet! !
My mum always tells me 'candy candy not so good, it will hurt your teeth UNDERSTOOD! '
I want candy,
I want to eat,
I don't care what anyone says,
know that candy is the best.
Ouch! Ouch!
Mummy was right!
Because of candy I can't even bite.
Candy candy not so good,
Just remember to brush your teeth because..
Candy candy is not so good..
For your teeth.

Epitaph For A Shepherdess
Beloved maidens! Playful and carefree,
You sing, you dance and frolic in the glades.
I, too, once dwelt in gay Arcadia,
I, too, in early days found moments
Of joy in woods and glades:
In golden dreams, love promised happiness:
But what did I attain in this glad land?-
The grave!

Call upon the Oracle of your Intuition
Call upon the Oracle of your intuition,
Fall within the miracle of each experience unique.
Hear her sigh as her thighs quiver in an agony
Of the sweetest anticipation. Tragedy in her eyes,
Sunken Blue are the skies above the landscapes
Of her vision, she seeks fusion with the one.
Look upon the world as if you had no name
For all that confronts you in its entirety,
Look upon the world as if you were once again young,
As if you were once more imbued with childhoods innocence,
Know that an eternity explained lay within
The blades of dreamtime meadow glades.
Dazzling shadows abound race throughout the shades of
The forest wild, alone, there lay the child of sweet
Content, laughing away the hours,
Counting down for sunset, to admire the suns descent.
He knows this time, this place, he knows this age is ours.

Children Children
I know a tyne waterfall
A magic little place
Where we can play together
And watch the fishes race
Children children where are you
Hiding in the forest playing in the rain
I hope you not too far away
For me to see again
I know where theres a fairy
Who will invite us all to tea
But she wont let me in alone
Youll have to come with me
Children children where are you
Hiding in the forest playing in the rain
I hope you not too far away
For me to see again
I know a tyne waterfall
A magic little place
Where we can play together
And watch the fishes race
Children children where are you
Hiding in the forest playing in the rain
I hope you not too far away
For me to see again

Ingavar
O, the trees grow straight and the trees grow tall,
And the trees grow all around;
And the long limbs sprout the trunks about,
Where the Davlo owl is found.
And the Davlo bird is most absurd
In the early days of June;
For he sings this song the whole day long,
To a strange, fantastic tune.
'O, ink, ink, ink! I sit and think;
I brood on the Wildwood Tree;
But, near or far, on Ingavar,
No ink, no ink I see.
And late or soon the swift cartoon
Must soar to the Utmost Star.
O, ink, ink, ink! I swoon! I sink!
O, inkless, Ingavar!'
O, the trees grow long, and the trees grow strong,
And the tress grow good and green,
And the gloomy shades steal thro' the glades
Where the Halgi Tit is seen.
And the Halgi Tit he loves to sit
On the frond of a swaying fern,
And croon, and croon, to a low, loose tune
This nervous, nude Nocturn.
'Chow-white, chow-white! All night, all night,
While the moon peeps thro' the leaves,
And the sad wind soughs thro' inlaced boughs,
Where the shadows creep like thieves.
I cry, and yearn for the Nude Nocturn!
O, I seek her near and far!
Chow-white, chow-white! I croon all night,
Thro' the glades of Ingavar.'
O, the trees grow pale, and tall trees quail,
And the sacred trees whisper soft.
And the startled bush it murmurs 'Hush!'
When the Denawk swoops aloft.
And, as he swoops, he shrieks and whoops
In a ruthless, Rhythmic way;
For twixt the trees and the sobbing breeze
The Denawk seeks his prey.
'Ho, rhyme, rhyme, rhyme! All fat and prime!
I live by rhyme alone!
In bush and town I hunt it down,
And tear it flesh from bone.
With a purpose grim for the synonym
I forage near and far;
And I rend my prey in a rhythmic way
On the gums of Ingavar.'
O, yearning trees! O, burning trees
O, trees that bend and sway!
The good brown earth that gave you birth
Is very damp to-day.
In mire and mud we slid we've slud;
Our boots are filled with slime
Farewell ye gums till summer comes
Farewell till Summertime.
The Davlo hoots, the Halgi toots,
The Denawk swoops no more
Alone to yearn, the Nude Nocturn
Adorns your leafy floor.
But Trees, O, trees, what ecstacies
Thrill thro' you, root and spar,
When the Lord High Pot comes up to squat
In the Glades of Ingavar,
Afar,
Green glades of Ingavar.

Visiting A Taoist On Tiatien Mountain
Amongst bubbling streams
a dog barks; peach blossom
is heavy with dew; here
and there a deer can
be seen in forest glades!
No sound of the mid-day
bell enters this fastness
where blue mist rises
from bamboo groves;
down from a high peak
hangs a waterfall;
non knows where he has gone, so sadly I rest,
with my back leaning
against a pine.
Dublin
The children play in the streets, they say
The children play in the streets
While the ships dock fast in Dublin Bay,
The children play in the streets.
Och aye, the blarney blunderbuss,
He's corked, and who's to blame?
'Tain't that his wee son with a pint,
Too soon to walk the same?
Across Ha'penny Bridge his Molly
Bends to scratch for coal,
And one last fire to celebrate:
Today she quits the dole.
But what of Barry? What of Shane?
Who'll give the tykes their bread,
With Pap in one dyke stone-cold drunk,
In the other Mam stone-cold dead?
The children play in the streets, they say
The children play in the streets
While the ships dock fast in Dublin Bay,
The children play in the streets.
Halloween Night
Today's a day for chills and fright
They all are on the road tonight
They don't come out during the day
But sneak outside during night to play
Costumes are taken off their racks
Kids eating candy as a snack
Their stomachs are normally in dismay
But no no not today
Normally there is abandoned streets
But today is going to be very sweet
Kids are forgetting their homework
'Cause they all are going berserk
Doors spring open and candy comes out
All the children are running about
Werewolves, skeletons, freaks and more
All their legs are getting sore
I love holidays how about you
The word Halloween is my favorite too
This holiday is not for teens
But tonight for us its HALLOWEEN!

Candy
Candy
Its a rainy afternoon
In 1990
The big city geez its been 20 years-
Candy-you were so fine
Beautiful beautiful
Girl from the north
You burned my heart
With a flickering torch
I had a dream that no one else could see
You gave me love for free
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left
Im glad you got out
But I miss you
Ive had a hole in my heart
For so long
Ive learned to fake it and
Just smile along
Down on the street
Those men are all the same
I need a love
Not games
Not games
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
I know baby
Candy baby
Uou uou uou
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy candy candy
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Candy baby,
Candy, candy

Pie In The Sky
Pie in the sky
Whos to say why it wont happen
Mountains of dreams
Floods like a stream running down them
Through rocky glades
Well find a way
We want to, so maybe we may
Pie in the sky
Never say die and keep trying
Mountains of dreams
Eyes brightly gleam and youre sighing
We made it then
Neednt say when
I want you again and again
Pie in the sky
Words that imply something stupid
Mountains of dreams
Loving you seemed so illusive
Still we kept on
Nothing went wrong
Together we proved love is strong
Pie in the sky
Whos to say why it wont happen
Mountains of dreams
Floods like a stream running down them
Through rocky glades
Well find a way
Forever, together well stay

Candy-o
Candy-o, I need you
Sunday dress, ruby ring
Candy-o, I need you so
Could you help me in?
Purple hum, assorted cards
Razor lights youll bring
And all to prove youre on the move
And vanishing
Candy-o, I need you so
Candy-o, I need you so
Edge of night, distract yourself
Obstacles dont work
Homogenize
Decentralize
Its just a quirk
Different ways to see you through
All the same in the end
Peculiar star, a-thats who you are
Do you have to win?
Candy-o, I need you so
Candy-o, I need you so
Candy-o, I need you so
(candy-o)
Candy-o, I need you so
(candy-o)

Never Die
Hands on a window pane
Watching some children laugh and play
They're running in circles
With candy canes and French braids
Inspired to question
What makes us grown-ups anyway?
Let's search for the moment
When youth betrayed itself to age
So let the children play
Inside your heart always
And death you will defy
'Cause your youth will never die
Never Die
In searching for substance
We're clouded by struggle's haze
Remember the meaning
Of playing out in the rain
We swim in the fountain
Of youth's timeless maze
If you drink the water
Your youth will never fade
So let the children play
Inside your heart always
And death you will defy
'Cause your youth will never die
Never Die
Never Die
Never Die
I won't let go of that youthful soul
Despite body and mind my youth will never die
I won't let go of that youthful soul
Despite body and mind my youth will never die
[Guitar Break]
So let the children play
Inside your heart always
And death you will defy
'Cause your youth will never die
So let the children play
Inside your heart always
And death you will defy
'Cause your youth will never die
Never Die

Poem: 'Playtime Slayer
- 6. May.2006 -
Unsuspecting children play, nothing seems amiss
They are jumping, they are running, they’re just ‘being kids’
Unsuspecting children play, unnoticing this little girl
She is crying, she is dying, carrying the weight of the world
Unsuspecting children play, laughing to themselves
They are so unknowing of this little girls living hell
Unsuspecting children play, having so much fun
This girl is used to being bullied, but she’s not the only one
Unsuspecting children play, unknowing of this pain
They don’t even see this girl… they don’t let her join their game
Unsuspecting children play, as a young girls life falls apart
They don’t even suspect; this little girl ‘self-harms’

Candy, Candy, Candy!
You’ve heard the expression many times
About a kid in the candy store
But there’s a place I’ll tell you about
That has every kind of candy and more
The containers of candy go way back
To retro styles of such fun
Candy from your childhood too
You’ll no doubt find every single one
A soda fountain graces the store
Oh my, sure takes me back
Way back when I was a teenager
Yes sir, that’s simply a fact
Cherry red stools to sit upon
As you smile and make your choice
Of delicious enticing concoctions
You just plain want to rejoice
So maybe someday you can be
As lucky as we were to see
A store that’s filled with delicious
Candy, candy, candy!

The Children Trees
I’ve walked past the park’s restaurant time after time,
and by those tempting trees the children like to climb.
With their low sprawling branches no child could resist,
and sunbeams that cut the dark, its a place of little risk.
But there is more to this place than first meets the eyes,
and when you look closer, the scene is telling lies.
I’m still not quite sure if it’s the light playing tricks on me,
but if I mention it to anyone, they’d question my sanity.
The tree’s entwining leafless arms move in a mysterious way
their twigs of fingers beckon the children to come and play.
I swear I saw a branch move slowly around a child’s waist,
but when it saw me looking, it withdrew its arm in haste.
This chilling, mysterious place worries me and horrifies,
and gives me that nightmare feeling when somebody dies.
But why should I worry? Parents are near in the light of day,
what possible harm could trees do, to our children at play?
